2041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 02, 2022, 09:37:01 PM
Does he really changed up his behavior? Maybe.. its true that i havent recently seeing that he do make out some trashtalks to provoke whether on his upcoming opponent or neither Inoue.

We can assume that he was just told not to do so or might be, he thinks that if only he's not like that, there will be no problem that happened last December where he failed to show up in the weigh-in because of his viral condition.

Anyhow, trash talk or hitting the opponent with some offensive words is not really necessary.

They can do the talking on the ring, not in exchange of words in the public.

Yeah, maybe someone is the background is advising Casimero to tone down a bit because it doesn't make sense at all to trash talk the likes of Inoue and Donaire. The fight will happen sooner or later. And he should learn from his fellow Filipino, the legendary Manny Pacquiao, who chooses to do the talking inside the ring and not being so arrogant outside and talking trash to his opponent.
Agree on this one and as a boxing fan too then i do much prefer on a fighter which is really that humble  and doesnt really talk too much on how he would able to beat his opponent.
Let your fists do the talking and that would be looking much more better rather than opening up your mouth and trying to declare that you are already the winner even on pre-fight.
For sure there were people behind who do gave out some advices on making this behavior to be toned down so that it wouldnt create soo much hate.
2042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is going up during war? on: March 02, 2022, 08:38:09 PM
OP, it's actually a bit difficult to know how bitcoin is behaving in the market so far because it all depends so much on supply and demand. War is just an excuse for price volatility and should not be 100% the reason why prices can go up or down.

Long term investors only take advantage of the downturn to collect bitcoin while others take advantage of it for the short term. Both ways work well for them, but of course sometimes they also have to wait longer for the price to recover.
Just those presumptions but look at on what happened on Bitcoins price? It do even make out some significant rise up even though not that big or great but at least it is really that gaining.

It is true that its not a solid thing for you to rely on with these kind of sentiments or news in regarding with your trading analysis. It will still solely be depending on market demand and supply talks

whenever we do mention out about its price movement which it had been unpredictable since from the beginning.
2043  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 02, 2022, 10:15:39 AM
They still have allies and China as the biggest one of them, I am pretty sure that Russia will be able to survive for at least a little while and I am sure that China will definitely make the most out of it even though they're an ally. But the Russian allies will have to be careful too as they might get included in the sanctions too.
Not an assurance but it would most likely that China would still able to back them out and of course there would be some intent behind those things knowing China would really be that opportunistic as long it could

benefit them out on the future. So what if China wouldnt impose any sactions? No country would able to oppose on what would be their decision so im much sure that Russia president is really that something

confident as he do still continue with his war plans but there might be some peace talks which might completely stop all of these things.
2044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 01, 2022, 11:39:45 PM
We all have thought really that it's going to be Inoue and Casimero as it came from him personally and then, here goes the sudden announcement and order from WBO.
It's possible that it's his team that has told him to remain quiet and just focuses on training. And when the match is going to be near like 2 or 1 week before it starts, they'll do the marketing through him and will do the talks. Maybe not actual trash talks but some insults I guess.
I think casimero's approach already changed because from trash talker it seems like he already keep His silence for long now.
though this maybe another strategy and His mouth will start trashing again when the fight is near to happen.
but whatever he does? still the fight will be awaited as this will Lead Casimero to finally fight Inoue in which His dream fight for long now, after His fellow Filipino Boxer Fails winning against this Japanese monster fighter.
Yup, there's the issue that has started and still he's in silence but that's okay. There's a lot of meaning for silence and he really doesn't have to address that.
I think, this makes him better if he just focus on his training and no need for any trash talk or any kind of talk that will hype his match. Butler has to be finished first so he can proceed to his next matchup.

if this will be another upset and butler will win. i guess, all the long discussions here about casimero will stop for a while. a lot has been waiting for his next match so hopefully he will not disappoint his fans here. he is learning his lesson so maybe the reason why he is limiting his trash talks now.
this upcoming fight will be the determining factor if he can pursue inoue here. so should not be taken lightly by his camp.

Does he really changed up his behavior? Maybe.. its true that i havent recently seeing that he do make out some trashtalks to provoke whether on his upcoming opponent or neither Inoue.

He might have been thinking that it would be better to stay silent and win the fight on at least making Inoue to be interested once again because as we have heard or read in the past

that Inoue got pissed with those Casimero trashtalks which might be the reason that he would lost up some interest on fighting him.
2045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's a pleasant way of marketing? on: March 01, 2022, 10:38:22 PM
And that would surely cost you because getting some influencers on introducing or trying out to hype your project isnt something that would be easy yet everything would really vary into its potential.
Ofcoure it will be costly. What do you expect a project will grow without funds alone? Lets be realistic here, projects that grows arr due to help of some marketing funds. Yes it would be sound like a pump and dump but thats how its work. Can you name a project that grows without help of such marketing ads or such used of influencers? There are some of course but that would take a lot of efforts and the chances arr not so confident.

Here's some 5 basic key factors.

Money.
Management.
Marketing and Sales.
People.
Product and Service.
Process and Systems.

Marketing is needed as always and of course "Money".
2046  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Huge crypto scam that happened last year(2021) on: March 01, 2022, 09:31:42 PM
The huge crypto scam that happened in 2021 that nobody wants to talk about is the metaverse coin and NFT projects. 99% of them are pure ponzis and rugpulls waiting to be happened,,, and the old shillers are talking about them thinking people forgot about their past promoted scams. New chillers and influencers are just recruited by old pump n dump groups.

I must agree with this since this is what I experienced. I've also lost my funds when I invested them in NFT projects due to hype which is also my mistake. Most of them have turned into rug pull. One thing I realized is that there's no such thing as easy money or earnings. Most of them have turned into a ponzi scheme and those who invested first benefited from it the most. I guess every NFT would end up that way if the developers couldn't handle it well.
You should have anticipated that and if you are just new into this market then you would most likely ending up on being scammed or losing your investment because you do let yourself get dragged with the hype.

This is just like those ICO days on where lots had been overhyped on joining and dealing with every project that comes out until they had realize that they had been scammed in the end.

Scam would continue to exist and those scammy developers would continue to exist as long there would be people who do keep feeding them.
2047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: March 01, 2022, 08:26:59 PM
I don't like anything excessive, it must have an effect, I do like gambling but not too much that can make me frustrated or not. and only people who lose a lot of money become frustrated and mentally down that I know and often happens.?
I think a responsible gambling website will have a good priority and will definitely keep members safe. If you are not responsible, of course, the name of the web will be a fugitive from a bad image fraud.
Yes, it is right. Anything in excess will not be good for us, especially playing gambling excessively. We have learned many lessons about how many people suffer losses in gambling games. That's enough for us to be a lesson for ourselves and lest we also experience the same thing.

Gambling websites warn their members to always act responsibly in gambling, but most people don't pay attention to this and get bad results. Everything will return to each of us, how we can take care of ourselves in playing gambling and not spending too much money.

Ultimately it remains primarily the responsibility of the player, he himself chooses to create an account and to bet money on races. The site has no influence on that. Every site handles self-exclusion differently. I don't even know what the license says exactly. An easy logic would be, if you don't want to play, just don't log in and don't deposit.
As simple as that and it should really be their responsibility with their actions. If they dont really like to play and dont get involved with gambling anymore then they should normally trying to avoid all sort of things
connected to it and even if you able to receive those promotional emails then if you are really that serious on quitting or stopping then you would simply just ignore and wont tend to read it but if you do
the opposite thing then you are the ones who do have the problem and not theirs even though there are some lapses but it is really your mistake honestly.
2048  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 01, 2022, 07:22:28 PM
Too bad to see how devastating if the FUDs hit the market before but for now, people are actually had learned already and they become more hesitant upon hearing them. We are still surrounded by these things, fake news, and market manipulations but to look at how they respond to this, they remain calm and that is how to see the market never went down too fast, instead it stays calm and still healthy.

It is really possible to have recoveries this month, not that strong but I feel it.

What do you guys think about it?
FUD's, Fomo's etc. would be always present on a market something like this on which you shouldnt exclude it up on your mind that they wouldnt really be making out any effects on the market which is really that something that you could bare in mind.

It doesnt mean though that they do always affect the market but even on a calm,no news like kind of day would really be always having that tendency on dropping the price just like when there's some
major bad news on which you would really boggle up your mind on whats happening.
2049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to be investing in Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2022, 11:56:11 PM
Bitcoin prices are relatively low at present. If you want to invest, you can. If you want to invest short time, you have to buy only when the price is a little lower. Then you can sell it if the price goes up a little. And if you want to invest long time, then you have to buy and keep. The price of Bitcoin will certainly increase substantially. So I would say if you want to invest your longtime you can buy and invest at the present time.
But the question is, how you would consider if the price is on the bottom already? Now on the current or recent movements it is really hard to tell since it do move out sideways plus we do make out some presumption

specially on external events or fundamentals around which might or might not able to affect crypto market which its unavoidable for us to consider if it would really be having that significant influence or not.

Good time will be basically depending on your own set of goals whether you do go for long term or short term ones.
2050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: February 28, 2022, 10:51:44 PM
Although Spence is the heavy favorite to win, Ugas can still be a treat, just like in his fight against Porter wherein Spence was the favorite but he has to go to a lot before he can win.

Ugas is really determined to win the fight. He doesn't want to make an advance statement but when asked about his future target if he wins on this fight, he really eyes to face Terence Crawford for the goal to become an undisputed champion at 147lbs. Something difficult to achieve.

Also when asked about the odds of winning against Spence, he said that when he fought Pacquiao, the majority was thinking of no chance of him winning the fight but the result is surprising. He likes to do the same against Spence and going to unleash the very best of his performance.
Truly unpredictable i would say on which it is true that majority of boxing fans didnt expect for Ugas to win against Pacquiao on that time but we have seen different outcome or result. So i wouldnt really be that surprised

if Ugas would able to pull it off once again or make out some upset on this upcoming fight against Spence although it would be still hard.Speaking off achieving that undisputed champ on 147lbs

then i would say that it isnt impossible if he do just stick on what he's performing as of this moment.
2051  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 28, 2022, 09:59:24 PM
Bitcoin is fully decentralized which is why I think it doesn't have to compete with Fiat at all, those who needs the decentralized idea should just keep using BTC as it is, we all know that CBDC will run on the blockchain too but in centralised form so where thus this leave Bitcoin?

Competition occurred when two same type of things conflict with each other for superiority. Bitcoin and Fiat has two totally different infrastructure and system of processing. We can do comparison between them about their use case and convenient way of using. Let the people decide which one to chose. Most popular one will survive at the end and others will perish.
Most people do think that there should be one that will be existing but come to think that we do need fiat as well and now on bitcoins existence then we do at least have the option to choose. They do hit up

different markets which one do loves decentralized and the ones who do love centralized. Also, people doesnt really mind off about utility but rather thinking or minding about its investment benefits

which is something that people been thinking off mainly when dealing with crypto market.
2052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kraken CEO give a heads up to carefully use CEX on: February 28, 2022, 08:59:31 PM
This is good habit to have but tbh I never used it. I don't have much money but I keep it on binance. I know isn't smartes way but I didn't have any problem.
It's still regardless. To be honest, it's not something that anyone could do but it's a great practice to do. Even if you don't have a lot of money invested in crypto, you wouldn't want it to go to waste, right? Like no matter what you could do it's still a good practice to have it stored in a safe location and you won't regret it either way.

Yeah, and it's too late when it becomes a problem. It's like leaving your wallet out on the streets. As long as no one takes it, it's not a problem. By the time someone does, it's not possible to fix it.

And I totally disagree about not anyone being able to keep coins in their own wallet. It's actually so much easier to keep crypto in your own wallet and have a watchlist to keep an eye on it. No need logging in, 2fa, etc on an exchange to see if it's still there (and worse, even if it's still there you can't take it unless you request a withdraw).
Would really be just common sense but as a trader then its normal that our funds would be put up on a platform for better access and execution of your trading positions and if you do have those funds anytime on your

own non custodial wallet then you would surely be having that time consuming deposits of funds plus would be having that expense in speaking of fees on which this is the main reason on why they much prefer

on parking out their coins into platforms. We are all aware of possible hacks or incidents like this to happen which isnt surprising.
2053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the war on: February 28, 2022, 08:19:21 PM
I don't feel is ethical to bet in a conflict like this and I will not, but I want to discuss the topic, what does the community think about this kind of bet.
For political kind of bets then its considerable but this one turns out not to be ethical honestly on which even if you are a gambler you couldnt afford on betting on a war if you do know
that human lives are heavily affected or simply lots have died.

I dont know if there are people who dont really care and do still make out some bets despite of that certain condition but for me then i would surely pass on making out
some bets in related to this.

Surprisingly there are sites who do offer kind of betting which is a little bit across on the border.
2054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I’m planning to surprise my soon-to-be-bride sister some BTC on her wedding day on: February 23, 2022, 01:28:20 AM
My sister is getting married in April this year. She’s asking for money from everybody as a wedding gift. I’ll probably give her £100 or something. She’s not having any of my BTC Grin

Yeah,  you don't need to give her any bitcoins from your holding, but how about buying £100 worth of bitcoins now or at her wedding time and gift her.
If i was at your side, i would probably ask my sister before her marriage, if she is willing to get bitcoins and if so, i would have purchase bitcoin for her.
It wouldnt be that a gift i she would able to know or the excitement that it could possibly give but its not bad to be on this way on which it would be your choice. It would be always been good if

you do say up things earlier so that she would able to appreciate on what you had given or tell her something about it on early base but dont give out some hint into here on what you would give.

Its a good initiative for the sake of awareness or overall exposure about bitcoin or overall crypto.
2055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun alone? how true? on: February 23, 2022, 12:25:40 AM
It largely depends on what status/period you are in as a gambler. If you are already gambling a lot and have lost large amounts of money, I don't think you can say that gambling is for fun. If you are in the beign stage, you will have to agree on bankroll management with yourself. 9 out of 10 can't keep up with that. The golden rule is still that gambling should be viewed as glee for pleasure, not to "earn" money. Then things often go horribly wrong.
Even if you do say its a hobby then it is really hard to say that  you are playing for fun. After you had lost up that much then it is considered that you are playing gambling for profit.

When you are playing just for fun then you wouldnt really be that always playing on extreme manner and you wouldnt be spending up that much so its up to someone whether

he do consider out himself to be a regular gambler for fun or totally aiming on making profits even its against with the odds.
It's not too strange with this because even many addicts claim and feel that they are not addicts so it's not too strange anymore about it because they certainly don't want to admit this because it can be said that this is a bad enough habit so it's quite natural. they deny it.
Regarding hobbies, it is clear that it is not for fun, but it can be said as one of the roots of addiction there in my opinion because when we say hobbies, it is impossible to do it just for a distraction when bored
Majority of us would really be on that denial that we arent addicted but the people around you could definitely tell that you are because they arent blind on not to see on how often you do play gambling.

If you arent addicted then you would just play gambling on occasional manner on which you dont spend time that much and also you dont spend that much.

There are still people who do play and wont care about on how much they have lost as long  they could get the leisure that they do seek of.
2056  Economy / Economics / Re: Canada to freeze Freedom Convoy Protestors bank accounts... on: February 22, 2022, 11:34:22 PM
They are not “scared” of the vaccine. They are concerned because vaccine mandates are unconstitutional. What right does the government have to tell its citizens where, and where not to go because someone did, or didn’t take a vaccine?

If you consider that as a problem, realize that you have been doing what the government tells you for a long time now. It may not be as clear as murder for example, of course it is not, but it is the government that tells us that we can't murder anyone, and we agreed, and since then anyone who murders anyone have been jailed, that is literally the government that decided it with the law and the cops who followed that law and caught murderers and judges who jailed those murderers as well. I understand that you may think that it is wildly different, a murderer and an anti-vaccine person is not the same in your mind, and the hurt they do is only to themselves if they get sick and die.

However, you just accepted that government can make decisions and can make you do something which is go to jail, even if you do not want to, that means government always had power over people under the laws, so if you do not follow the law, then government can seize your assets and even jail you. Not a new thing.

There was nothing in what you posted that debated vaccine mandates are not unconstitutional, except that you’re saying that it’s OK for the government force anything on you even if it means breaking the constitution? OK, that’s you, but the truckers are people who are not like you.
I agree, some level of freedom is necessary to have a healthy society and forcing people to comply in this manner is simply not correct, personally I did took the vaccine but it really bothers me that those that after listening to the facts decide to take a different posture now are being used as scapegoats by the government and the population at large, people should have the right of self-determination and the right to protest against the government in a peaceful way, if those two are taken away then we can say they are living under a tyrannic rule.
It wont really be that democratic already if those things would be taken away but im not really that against on some certain situations or conditions on which government would really be making out some changes

as long it wont be totally able to remove the rights of its citizens on taking up their own decisions but there would really be some limitations and exclusions i would say on which they will really be implying on.
You could really please someone or would totally get criticisms as per decisions that had been made which is expected.

2058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Opensea | Some users lost NFT collection - CEO denied it was internal error. on: February 22, 2022, 09:38:16 PM
I was dazzled to seek whether it was an internal error or the external factor that made the hack happen, I guess the things only some users are affected made me think it is a kind of phishing attack.

As far as my understanding it is indeed that some users are signing a message outside the original site, some may get the phishing site from an email, based on a few tweets that i saw on the referenced link. The things that the attacker contract was built many days ago, tell it a targeted attack that mainly deceive those who lack security understanding.

This is what im thinking for some possible phishing attempts even though it might sound that complicated but once you do really able to made those attempts which is really on external basis then it could be possibly

happen.Im not really that good on tracing out possible exploits but whats done is done which does proves out that it could really be that possible on having those incident.

Im aint sue of those lost NFT's could be taken back but knowing that everything do moves on contract then its hard to believe on.
2059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Proper risk management? on: February 22, 2022, 08:37:45 PM
Thay can be helpful in trading, but emotion is very important aspect to face while trading. Risk management in this case can be helpful for people that are trading several coins at a time, this is common in forex trading. Since I have been trading cryptocurrencies, I noticed their price move in the same direction, I prefer to choose just one coin and which is bitcoin.

What I am trying to say is that risk management is beyond using app or any software that will calculate the percentage wining and losses, it is also about mindsets and emotions about opening and closing a trade at the appropriate time.
Agree on this one because this is one of the factors that could really affect your overall strategy and also having these simulations wouldnt really be precise that it could be followed because the market do moves

randomly even how many times you would simulate such strategy but it wouldnt really be giving out any assurance that it would really be on the same outcome or result.
Risk management would be consist of finance and emotion or psychological aspects which you should need to look on.
2060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 22, 2022, 07:23:37 PM
I checked the internet for his recorded gambling addiction and it goes back to 2018 we don't know if he is already gambling in his early years as a rapper, but we have many cases of rappers into gambling like Snoop Dog and 50 Cent they even have songs about their gambling addiction, and Drake is not the only one who posted his winning, Snoop Dog posted his one pound marijuana he won in the Canelo - Alvarez fight in his instagram account.
What happens is that it is difficult to know if such a person has been able to beat their addictions, after all many think that in order to beat an addiction completely then you need to completely stay away from it, but there are some people that can control their addictions to the point they can do so responsibly, one example of this is alcohol consumption, so while such a huge bet may seem like a sign that he is not over it, at the same time he earns so much money that if this was the only bet he made during the whole year then this is not a sign of a gambling addiction but of someone that has finally controlled his impulses.
There's no such thing about unlimited funds on which i he do continue to make big bets like this and losses then it would surely affect his financial state for long term.We dont even know if he's on profitable side or not

which we couldnt able to make out conclusions if he's doing well but in overall its none of our business on how they would be spending out their money. They have earned it and they do have the full rights
on what they would gonna do.Addiction or typical a hobby then its their choice to make.

Absolutely true! We need to mind our own business when it comes to money spending. Whatever they do to their funds, is on their own accord. But one thing that is good for this post is the promotion of the crypto casino, stake. Whether paid or not, that would give them further boost regarding their reputation among gamblers. That can also tell that they can handle big bets as well as big winnings.
Stake is popular and there are lots of various big wins that had been paid out without any strings attached which is one of the best things when you do deal with popular sites which you wont really worry out

in terms of finance divisions plus on that fairness which you could somewhat assure that you are dealing with a legit or known site which does really give out confidence. Its true that we do have the full
control of our funds and none others business on how we should spend on it which it is true that its a good exposure not only on Stake site but also into crypto.
