3021  Economy / Gambling / Re: I won 1500 dollars on a ufc fight + quit gambling on: November 01, 2022, 09:08:48 AM
Let's say that this is your day to celebrate on your huge win. I am quite confused because of the title when I first read it since you added a word quit and in your post, you are going to quit gambling until 2023 which means you don't really quit since you only have months until 2023. I would say that the exact words you should use is stop gambling instead of quit gambling until 2023. Anyways, don't let it get your feelings and just celebrate about winning that amount.
yeah I noticed that also , because when he said Quitting gambling till 2023 but just day after he made a post saying he again won a big amount in Roulette meaning his word is against his post.

But anyway , lets all congratulate him because admit it or not? He is one lucky human .

It is a one-time big-time win. I think this kind of strategy or approach; I am not sure what is the right word, but this is what I dream of while doing a gamble. Bet one time and be the luckiest person in the universe to win it and run away; lol. I know it is greediness, but it's still a good idea since most of us, even myself, will still play and gamble when I win that huge amount of money. I want to say you are the luckiest human in that time of day and year than anyone else lol, but still think that someone losses that day with that same amount of money

Re: No social media is safe

No social media is safe.. because these types of scams are mostly spread through social media sites in the first place. And scammers will find more and more enticing ways to find victims; so the only real solution here is to think realistically and in a non-delusional manner.

"if it's too good to be true, it probably is."

Anything is not safe in cyberspace. Most scammers will target those high audiences like social media and other platforms since there are many people on it, and they can find the target easily. I can't imagine scammers nowadays exert a lot of effort like it is their job to scam you. They will spend time and a lot of flowering words to scam you, and still, some people are not made aware of this modus. When someone tries to ask you to invest in it, and your money will be back in a small period of time without any effort, then you should be cautious and have a background check on it.
3023  Economy / Economics / Re: Life is a puzzle ! on: November 01, 2022, 07:05:46 AM
Main parts of this puzzle are study, proper job , marriage, smart housing move and retirement plan! We shall Live like economist and study each step economically.
Is marriage really a requirement to life for most? Maybe for some but I still believe there are others that lives a more fulfilled life for themselves without getting married. There are also a few religious persons that there region or tradition forbids them from getting married or birthing a child.
Life, life is just as complicated as that. It's never fair to anyone nor does it present to some an advantage over the rest. Even the rich have got places that irritates them too.
We've just to keep trying and figruing ourselves out with every step, making mistake and correcting them.

It is! Life is incomplete without marriage or let's just say having a partner until you die. I know your point that they can still live to the fullest even though they don't have partners and even became successful, but trust me if you have everything money and you are getting old but still you don't have a partner to spend time on you will really feel a void, you feel incomplete. When I am still a teen I haven't thought about marriage or having a partner I am focusing on my career and earning money but if you already have enough money you'll start questioning your life and asking what is still missing? you can go to other places, eat in expensive restaurants and can afford expensive things then after you get home? you will feel lonely at that time.

3030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We are group of long experinced traders try our Free signals on: October 24, 2022, 11:57:46 PM
People should realize if it's too good to be true, step back already they might lose a lot if they take the bait.

It's also not good to rely on these people that gives free trading signals. They are not some kind of prophets that will accurately predict the movement of the market. They say that they have years of experience but when I saw their telegram channel, there's even no explanation why they picked doge/usdt to buy. Other telegrams I belong that gives free signal provides a technical analysis backing up their trades.
3031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: October 24, 2022, 11:30:52 PM
I'm seeking to know if having a personal trading strategy has been able to enhance your trading profitablity and if you really keep to a particular strategy that worked for you even when it seems it's failing you later on and for how long do you stick to this strategy?

Having a personal trading strategy is a lot better rather than copying or relying on someone to trade. You personally know the risk if you have a strategy of your own and you can adjust it everytime you learn something new. Like my experience in trading whatever strategy I use that I saw on youtube videos, I still come back to my own style of trading since that's where I'm comfortable and able to make profit cautiously.
3032  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto agents on the increase on: October 24, 2022, 11:00:09 PM
What will you like to add  to this?

Never invest on someone that will promise a huge return.

Crypto investment schemes has becoming more rampant again in our country. I always see a lot of post on social media that offers an investment table where you can earn as much as 30% monthly of your investment. A profit like that is too big and very suspicious since they also say that the source of money comes from crypto trading. Cryptocurrencies are very volatole that it's difficult to make profit from it consistently. Investors that are not well educated yet about crypto are easily blinded because the promoters use the historical increase of bitcoin.
3033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much gambling is in trading cryptocurrencies? on: October 24, 2022, 10:31:52 PM
This is where I come to the conclusion that for most of people who trade, trading is just a gamble. Sometimes they win, and this is where legends are born most of the times. Sometimes they lose, what happens more often. In general we are lured by huge and rapid wealth and such desires are addictive, especially if you succeeded a couple of times. Only few are determined enough to reach a level of proficiency before losing it all - money, hope and a touch of reality.

People that gambles when trading is bound to lose money even if they make a good fortune out of it. They will always rely on their luck putting their money at huge risk everytime they invest on a certain crypto. If i were to experience a one huge win from trading, from luck, I would use that opportunity to increase my knowledge about it. If i continue to rely on luck on my next trades, I will definitely lose all those profits anytime soon.
3034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leaving your coins on exchanges on: October 24, 2022, 01:05:21 PM
After you finish trading in a day, because of the stable coin low fee, did you move your coin to a noncustodial wallet and move it back to an exchange if you want to trade next time? Or you just leave it alone on the exchange you are using?

Is there really someone that really moves in and out his crypto on the exchange daily? We all know that doing it everyday can be very annoying and also it's kind of dangerous if the person mistakenly copy/paste the wrong address. It's true that leaving our assets on DEXs have risks but that can be minimal as long as we use a well-established platform like coinbase, ftx, or binance. I trade 3-5x weekly on binance and I just keep my trading funds there when I'm busy. I don't feel afraid when I leave my assets there since they are already proven to be reputable. I just withdraw the profit every week or until it's big enough that I can buy something from it.

3035  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's Price be affected by this? on: October 23, 2022, 05:06:04 PM
Now, my question is what impact do you think Mr. Musk's purchase of Twitter will have on Bitcoin's price if he succeeds?

Why do people always connect to bitcoin whatever Elon Musk will do. The purchase didn't even said anything about it so there is no reason to speculate if it will make an impact on its price. He even stopped posting crypto-related stuffs now since he realized that he can move the market with his influence by doing it on dogecoin last year. We should not treat him or any famous personality as a signal to buy bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies.
3036  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best thing to do if this happens on: October 23, 2022, 04:14:50 PM
Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal way to make sure that the platform pays up your money?

Ask yourself first if you did something that is against their TOS. Now, if you think you haven't violate any of their rule, you played clean and didn't abuse some kind of bonus then you can ask their customer support why they won't release your winnings. A reputable gambling website will always state the precise reason why they disabled the withdrawal on your account and won't make unreasonable excuses.
3037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much was your last big win? on: October 23, 2022, 03:32:35 PM
What was your last big hit? I would like to know  Cool

My last big win was from betting on our local basketball league named PBA. I bet on the last game of the finals 100$ and I managed to win $170. I didn't really bet on a gambling website but it's just peer-to-peer type of gambling since that finals matchup were very popular here in our country. I usually go big when it comes to sports betting since there is a better chance of winning compared to other types of gambling like crash game, roullete, or dice.
3038  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: October 23, 2022, 02:45:30 PM
Hey here. I want to try myself in casino playing, but I am really afraid of being scammed. Few years ago I lost a huge amount of money that I saved for a long time..
No one can guarantee you any casino is completely safe.  When you go to use an online crypto casino there are certain risks that you must accept . but anyone can suggest some potential casino site like (stake , Betfurry , Rollbit , sportsbet , livecasino ,etc . you can take a look on these casino platform but i am not giving you any financial advice

He did not told exactly how he was scammed and maybe it's not even gambling related. Playing on a centralized crypto casino have really some risk especially now that most of them implement KYC. But as long as he play on the websites that you've mentioned, there is no need to be afraid since they already proved to be reputable. They can be easily contacted on this forum if OP experience some issues since most of them have their own threads here.
3039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Game Have You Won The Most From And How Much In Total? on: October 23, 2022, 01:58:48 PM
1. Do you believe there are some games that carry ill luck with them, that no matter how long and how much the player wager, he or she never win significant amount of money?

Gambling is all about luck. You can't do anything if you're not destined to win on gambling no matter how much money you've spend. Just look at the people who won on a lottery or roulette, there are some winners that only wagered a small amount but because luck is on their side, they were able to go home with a huge jackpot.

2. Which game have you won the most amount of money from?, and how much in total did you win from that game?
Maybe you can also mention the game provider(Pragmatic, Evolution   etc.) so we can search for the game on our respective casinos and try it out.

Sports betting is the most profitable type of gambling for me. When there's a NBA season or a boxing match that Pacquiao will be fighting, it's quite easy to predict the outcome of that game. Sometimes, the match are very obvious that it's free money to put a bet on.
3040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: October 23, 2022, 01:01:32 PM
Is KYC verification very important to crypto gambling websites or this has something to do with their regulations rule? Where can one gamble with zero verification requirements?

You can't find a reputable KYC free casino nowadays. There are some new casinos that offers "no kyc requirement" as part of their promotion but you should be wary of those and double check it on their ToS  if they will not really ask for it. However if you are able to find one, you should be suspicious since there is a high chance that they will scam you. KYC policy is a norm now on gambling websites since they are becoming more regulated and I understand why they need to implement it since there are criminals that can use their platform for illegal activities.
