3041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: plinko game discussion thread. on: August 03, 2017, 12:43:50 PM
You can also add Crypto-Games to the first post, they also have Plinko.
I personally don't care to much about the game, it's pretty boring since it's so slow to play.

Dice or roulette are much more fun imo.

But to each his own, I guess Smiley
3042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are paper wallet and hardware wallets better or safer than blockchain.info on: August 03, 2017, 12:35:55 PM
Paper wallet can be burnt.. can be a meal for paper mites... or we need a bank locker to keep in..

For paper wallets, it's best that you also save a copy in another location, possibly a bank vault or something like that.
Also, you'd better laminate that paper wallet, it will last much longer and, that solves the paper mites issue, I think.

You also don't have to use paper as a medium, you can make a 'paper' wallet out of different kinds of materials.
3043  Economy / Exchanges / Re: When will Bittrex open BCC deposits? on: August 03, 2017, 12:23:29 PM
Either Bittrex or Kraken is going to open up deposits first and the other one will follow soon after.

Deposits are open on Hitbtc, but I've been having trouble accessing their website for the past couple of hours.
Viabtc requires verification to be able to deposit BCC, so that's a no-go for me too.
3044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do BCC Will help increase BTC Value? on: August 03, 2017, 12:19:38 PM
Hello Guys,
I'm not an expert of Virtual Currencies like BTC, BCC, liteCoins etc. but I'm just curious what is the main reason forks were made out of BTC popularity?
Do BCC is helping BTC to increase value?
Is BCC is created to rival other existing Low-end Virtual Currencies?
Do you believe another forks will exist after a few months or years?

Talk to me, please... thanks
I'm not an expert either but generaly  all successfull cryptocurrencies hape positive influence on bitcoin. Mostly because it is tradable in most pairs and people will spend or demand bitcoin while buying or selling bitcoin cash.
Isn't it more so the other way around? That Bitcoin has a positive influence on other crypto currencies?
Bitcoin still has the largest marketshare out of all forms of crypto currency and you can see on coinmarketcap that Bitcoin still somewhat dictates the prices of other altcoins.
3045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fun seeking gamblers vs profit seeking gamblers on: August 02, 2017, 05:41:32 PM
I purely gamble for fun, with the kind of gambling I do, it's kinda stupid to be doing it for profit.

Quote
Here we must note all profit seeking gamblers are not successful with their attempts.
What do you mean by this?
There are gamblers that are doing it for profit and some of them are successful, just look at professional poker players or people who are into sportsbetting.
3046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does BCH have any market capital at all? on: August 02, 2017, 05:36:34 PM
BitcoinCash is going to replace Segwitcoin! Hodl BCH!

Who would use coin that can't confirm transaction more than 11 hours Huh

BCC biggest scam ever. However, that does not mean you should not hold it to a best price and dump it onto noobs who want to buy it.

The price is high cause there s no place to sell it. Bittrex still does not accept BCC deposits, Polo does not accept it at all. Once the dumping starts, we ll see what s its rate.

Actually, some places such as HitBTC accept deposit, but it doesn't matter because many miner left and no block mined in more than 11 hours and there's no way to dump BCC.
There have been more blocks found the last couple of hours, I'm sure it will pick up some pace soon.
Just check here, it's a blockexplorer for BCH that works:
http://blockdozer.com/insight/blocks

Keep in mind that the price is likely so high because no-one has been able to actually deposit coins to exchanges, thus delaying the possible exodus.
3047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to trade BCC? on: August 02, 2017, 02:08:55 PM
https://hitbtc.com now open for deposits, dump that thing now before it reaches to the moon first. Kraken is open too.

Its a pitty that i dont own a large bitcoin so i dont have  to dump.

so how to DEPOSIT BCC to kraken? i cant find
Deposits are not open on Kraken yet, I've also checked and they do not appear to be in the list.
Also not possible to withdraw BCH on Kraken.

The person you're answering to must have his facts wrong.
3048  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to find investors for generous faucet? on: August 02, 2017, 12:42:47 PM
Hi all!
I have an idea to open generous faucet - 3000 satoshi/day for active users. But it may be required to have 10 BTC for first months. I think that the best way to open investor's cabinet. But I cannot give any guarantees that investor will get back their bitcoins. What's your ideas?  Huh Thanks!
This idea wont work for sure and you would really not able to catch up the expenses you do need because advertisements cant really cope up on the amount that you putted seeing that you plan to put 10 bitcoin on first months which would really be a big amount and saying that it would be famous then it would really be possible since it would be one of the faucets which do give big amount since no faucet website gives 3000 satoshi.

freebitco.in gives ~2000-2500 satoshi/day.
Freebitcoins doesn't rely on advertising though, they have a pretty popular dice site with a huge house edge.

It's just not reasonable to ask for 10 BTC to start a faucet which relies only on ads. Plus, you don't even need 10 BTC to start a faucet like that.
3049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BitcoinCash reaching 500$ on: August 02, 2017, 11:32:12 AM
That's why I'll be holding onto mine for just a little bit longer.
I've got nothing to lose, right? Let's just see where this goed in a few weeks or so.

Also, I've got no real opinion about the whole mess surrounding core vs bcc etc.
3050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with altcoins on: August 01, 2017, 11:52:56 AM
Definitely bitcoin for me, though I also gamble with Dogecoin and Litecoin, I usually just exchasnge it on Crypto-Games, so I can skip sending it to an exchange.
Their rates are pretty good and exchanging is easier than on an actual exchange.

Sometimes it's just more fun to gamble with DOGE for example, seems like your betting with bigger amounts Smiley
3051  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 01, 2017, 11:41:54 AM
if you want steady income, joining a signature campaign can be helpful. also,  I suggest do mining and etc. there are a lot of ways if you want it small.

Mining has its ups and downs with profitability.  For GPU mining, the profitability has dropped off significantly in the past couple months where the payback on hardware is going to take a year and a half or so, rather than what used to be about 3 months.  Of course the future price of the coins have a huge impact on that though.

To answer OP, I'd say the best way for steady income is to build a marketable skill to mastery.  Depending on the economic environment of the city you live in, moving to another city will provide different opportunities.
With mining you've got an additional problem, the supply of some cards is dwindling, I've been trying to order a radeon r9, but the type I want cannot be ordered in time due to stock issues.
Still, once it arrives I still have a decent window to make some profit, if I'm lucky.
3052  Economy / Gambling / Re: Biggest faucet for dice? on: July 31, 2017, 10:37:17 PM
https://kingdice.com also gives you 500 satoshis per claim.

https://www.crypto-games.net/ have already been discussed.

But I wonder are there people who reached a cashout starting from the faucet only?
Sure. Isn't too hard.  Embarrassed
Minimum withdrawal for crypto-games.net is just 2mbtc.
And it's not only with the faucets that you can win. Even the Playmoney can be exchanged to other currencies, long as you win enough.

If anyone wants to know where to check faucet rewards for all levels then just go to "your account" at crypto-games.net, click on "rewards" then on to "faucet levels". You'll see how much is given for every level (it's quite generous) and what you need for every level up.
Another great faucet strategy on Crypto-Games is to do some high payout bets (on whichever game you like) until you have enough to buy lottery tickets.
I've seen people win 1st prize with only 5 tickets and win around 0.08 BTC. You can get around 40 tickets pretty easily each round, if you just level up your faucet a little bit.

I've also won quite a bit in the past by doing this.
3053  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: best ways to advertise on: July 31, 2017, 10:23:49 PM
You should try using some traditional forms of online advertising instead of going with networks that are focussed on Bitcoin exclusively.
Adwords is still pretty good, you might be able to add a bunch of cheap keywords and limit your spending.

Facebook ads are also a good option, there are many Bitcoin related Facebook groups, so there is definitely good exposure.
3054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who are these people? on: July 31, 2017, 03:57:57 PM
Don't you still have some time left to do some transactions? If you're using a high enough fee to make sure that it gets confirmed in time.
I know Crypto-Games is still accepting deposits and withdraws until 18:00 UTC

Also, the chances of there being a split are pretty slim now.

3056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you plan to quit the altcoin world? on: July 31, 2017, 02:54:40 PM
Why would you even quit at this point in time?
These have been the most interesting times for altcoins, compared to a few years ago.

We've seen them gain a lot of marketshare from Bitcoin and the coins in the top 10 on Coinmarketcap have never had such high values as this past year.

Now all the focus is temporarily on Bitcoin again, because of August 1, but after everything settles down again, there will be more focus on Altcoins as well.
3057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get your ski mask on because tomorrow is going to be a robbery on: July 31, 2017, 02:44:35 PM
I have all of my coins ready, but I forgot to move some of my coins that are in an Electrum wallet that I have in a laptop and I can't get that laptop until tomorrow, so I hope that these coins also get the BCC equivalent amount.

Are you going to instantly dump all of your BTC for BCC?

Will you watch the market for a while?

Read again, he said he's going to dump all of his BCC for BTC, not the other way around.
That's to be expected at first, a lot of people are just going to exchange their BCC for BTC at first.

I'm going to hold onto mine for a bit longer though.
3058  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Management on: July 31, 2017, 02:29:26 PM
Hi all,

Please kindly let me now which domain name is suitable for developing a Bitcoin Management System, BitcoinPlatform.com or BitcoinBoard.com?

Thank you in advance!
Truen

I really don't understand what you meant by bitcoin management system, can you explain what kind of system you have in mind to manage Bitcoins? Anyways, both the names are good, but I always suggest to go for a brandable name rather. Think of the big brands, most of their domain has hardly the keyword in their name, but is famous.
I'd have to agree with this, both names don't really sound good and if I heard a name like that, I wouldn't really be thinking of a specific company, it's just too descriptive and doesn't have a ring to it.
It's far better to go looking through a keyword database and look for something that just sound good, but doesn't necessarily have a Bitcoin related keyword in it.
3059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BitcoinCash a joke? on: July 31, 2017, 01:55:31 PM
It sure sounds like a joke "Bitcoin Cash"  Cheesy

After this whole debacle, they might as well re-name it to "Bitcoin Crash" because that's what BCC price is going to do. Then it will recover to be just like all the other "alt-coins" out there.

Bitcoin is King!
The thing is that some of these "other altcoins out there" have a pretty decent value, also compared to Bitcoin.
BCC has some pretty powerful backers and I'm sure that it could thrive under the right set of circumstances.

A crash is indeed to be expected, as a lot of people will be selling their BCC right away.
I'm going to hold on to mine and see after a couple of months what they're worth.
3060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins traders, I need your advice. on: July 31, 2017, 01:39:51 PM
They have a pretty extensive tutorial on their website, you know.
Have a look at this page: https://localbitcoins.com/guides/how-to-sell-bitcoins-online or  https://localbitcoins.com/guides/how-to-sell-bitcoins

Make sure you do enough research of your competitors first and lowball their offers to get some good reviews from customers.
You need to build a good reputation before you can start start making a decent profit, at least that's how I see it.
