3041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoin be the next flashpoint In the cryptocurrency world? on: April 20, 2021, 02:44:30 AM
Stablecoin is not only a means of payment in cryptocurrency, but also a bridge between the financial property and the use property of the token.
Stable coins are other representatives of fiat currencies. They are centralized (most of them) and can be minted from thin air like Tether USD. Other stable coins can be minted from thin air as well. If you are worrying about the inflation, hyper inflation of fiat currencies, you should worry about the same bad factors of stable coins.

Companies mint their stable coins and probably corporate with whales to manipulate the market.

Quote
The biggest stablecoin is the USDT for Tether, but I'm not bullish on it because it doesn't have a real entity.
They have many dramas.

Quote
The most successful one in my opinion so far is DAI, but it still has a lot of problems. I expect to see stablecoin with different solutions.
DAI is a decentralized stable coin and is better than Tether USD.

PSA: Most Stablecoins Can Be Frozen, Even in Your Own Wallets

Stable coins are stable in their swap rate with fiats but their values are not stable. If fiats loss values, stable coins will loss values too.
3042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is China's support for Bitcoin really a bullish sign? on: April 20, 2021, 02:36:07 AM
They learned they can actually control it.
Control. Could you explain how China can control Bitcoin and its network, please. You believed they can so you do have your reasons for this thought. Can you share with explanations?

I don't think China or any nations can control Bitcoin. They can create news, policies to manipulate the price in short term but in the long term, none of them can prevent Bitcoin to reach $1 million.

One donator made a price prediction in 2011 that Bitcoin will touch $65,000 that is the price for this year. He is a time traveller. You can predict and become another time traveller.
1 BTC = 65000 USD!

You can dump private key of one address or dump all the wallet. Use the code in your Console, and command line.

Code:
dumpprivkey "address"
dumpwallet "filename"

You can copy your wallet file in the directory. Open your wallet, choose the tab Windows, choose Information. You will get the directory in which your wallet file is stored.
Copy the link in Datadir line that is something like. Copy and paste the link into the Search box of your OS and open the folder.
You will see the sub-folder wallets
Copy and paste the wallet file as your backup. Use it on your other computers.
Code:
C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\BGL
3044  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance has problems with connections with today crash on: April 19, 2021, 08:16:10 AM
This is what we called that nothing is perfect, it might have some flaws but doesnt mean that they do suck. They wont really be coming the top exchange at the moment if they do really have some problem

There might be some lag and other delays but doesnt mean that it would be permanent. For sure they are fully aware  that they would need to improve even more.
Who care that Binance aware of their issues? The users got losses if their orders can not be set on time. Crashes can kill them and the suck, hiccups of service bring higher risks of being killed. Exchanges have their shady actions and they get benefits when users are killed. They are responsible for their services in any situation.

I was very disappointed yesterday when I was about to placed an order on my mobile phone on Binance platform, after several attempts which proved abortive  I have to let go the trade, I thought it was a network issue from my end here, thank you for bringing it to the notice of the forum forum members, I read a flash news
on my trading platform now of a possible upgrade by Binance on 20th there is going to be short interruption of trading for 2 hours Binance traders take note
Any time Binance have updates, maintenance, price will have big movements. Ups or downs after the maintenance on 20th, please guess.
3045  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance has problems with connections with today crash on: April 19, 2021, 03:06:56 AM
This is now becoming more and more frequent, and is now happening in every sudden market price changes.
More frequently happens in recent months. You pointed out a truth.

Quote
The major reason could probably be due to a high volume of traders using the platform to execute orders at a certain time.
It is reason but as a company and service provider and earn millions of dollars from their service, they should prepare infrastructures and bandwidth better. Poloniex and Bittrex had same issues in 2017 and they lost their positions.

If it is your service, responsibility of quality is yours, not yours customers. Market crash causes loss for your customers from price crashes and your bad service causes more losses for customers. They don't want it.

It's working fine for me using the Binance app I don't know on their web but trading here on the Binance app is fine without a problem submitting orders.
Try to use their app maybe the issue it's just on their web version but on the Binance app, I haven't experienced any issue or delays.
I use app after I have problem with website.

I noticed another thing. Problems are more serious with BTC pairs but less seriously with USDT pairs. I am not sure but you can check it next times.
3046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Eyes on BTC Dominance! on: April 19, 2021, 03:01:46 AM
That is the outcome that everyone wants. But so far in the last couple of months, a lot of coins and tokens have increased by 5x or 7x. Some pessimists even believe that the bull run stops here. Personally, I don't think we're gonna end here. A number of coins surpassed old ATHs and achieved new ones, while many others didn't. A new ATH of bitcoin will make the whole market happy. This week's candle is very important.
It will be halted for a while if a bomb appears as the global economy collapses. After massive generous QEs, it will have to cause troubles for nations and global economy. When sort of news is released, it will cause a short term panic on all market like what we witnessed in March 2020.

In the long run, it will be a boost for crypto market especially Bitcoin. Is bitcoin created as an alternative for people to escape bailout for banks

3047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance Smart Chain the "New Ethereum"? on: April 19, 2021, 02:23:49 AM
Ever since the "De-Fi" craze began on 2020, Binance Coin has been on a constant uptrend in price. It went all the way from nearly $20 to just $500 in a matter of months. Binance has done a good job in promoting its own currency, resulting in massive adoption in the mainstream world. The world's largest crypto exchange owns "CoinMarketCap" so it has all the tools to make BNB a huge success. With near-zero fees and near-instant transaction confirmation times, Binance Smart Chain (which powers BNB) could become the "next Ethereum" in the crypto/blockchain space.
Changpeng Zao began as one of first staffs in the Blockchain.info company and all in invested into Bitcoin. Years later his brave investment decision, he created his exchange company Binance, took the technical and customer support problems on Poloniex and Bittrex to shill his exchange. Four years later the birthday of Binance, he created a big ecosystem around the exchange.

I don't like to call any cryptocurrency is a next Bitcoin or next Ethereum. BNB is BNB and it should be called like this. BNB can be bigger than Ethereum in next 1 or 2 years. With exchange operations, alternative for token companies, coinmarketcap website and many promotions, not yet mention their corporations with local exchanges :Warzix, Tokocrypto, etc.

Quote
Vitalik and his team better hurry up on scaling Ethereum before it's too late.
Vitalik and ETH team are too slow to upgrade and it looks to be their style. It will be hard to change.

Quote
What do you think? Is Binance Smart Chain the "New Ethereum"? Or is it too early to tell? Do you think it will replace Ethereum sometime in the future? Are current prices sustainable in the long run?
I am sure BNB will have a price at thounsands of dollar in this year. Higher than ETH in this year, I don't know but it is possible.

The price of BNB will be more sustainable than ETH or any altcoins because it is backed by Binance. Bull market or bear market, people will keep using Binance for their trades.

What is the reason that the DigiFinex exchange wallet for several days under maintenance? It takes no more than an hour to install and synchronize a node. Forks and new versions for BGL were not released. What is the reason?
I don't know reasons but you can use other exchanges if you want to trade BitGeSell. Three exchanges for BitGeSell and HotBit is a good choice now. HotBit and DigiFinex is two biggest exchanges for BitGeSell but former is for BTC pair and the latter is for USDT pair.
market list and HotBit exchange.
Last week, I intended to use DigiFinex but I decided to use HotBit because of deposit problem.
3049  Economy / Exchanges / Binance has problems with connections with today crash on: April 18, 2021, 12:28:25 PM
Today, Binance shown that they have technical problems with the market crash. Within 10 to 30 minutes, it was super hard to submit orders and get it successfully loaded on the market orders.

It happened with Binance since the beginning of bitcoin bull run. Honestly I respect the quality and creativity that Binance run their services and some products that create trend in crypto. Today problems recall me the same with Poloniex and Bittrex in 4 years ago bull run.

I hope in this bull run, the market will have another new outstanding exchange.
3050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Eyes on BTC Dominance! on: April 18, 2021, 11:52:46 AM
The weak down today is important to help Bitcoin has a shake on all weak hands. The less people hold bitcoin, use margin trades with hope to see bitcoin price at $70,000 are all done. From now on, the barrier for Bitcoin to move higher is smaller. It will do help BTC in the long run. Correction is to help bitcoin setting up a new all time high.

BTC dominance will be decreased more in this year for altcoin bull run. The bull phase of market gives scammers easy time to steal money from investors. They create more new projects that account for new big part in marketcap. BTC dominance will fall more.
3051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LOONG TIME, NO SEE! on: April 18, 2021, 06:43:39 AM
I was ordering BTC and I was astonished to see how fucking high tx fee is: $27.00!!!!!! I was like, did something happened? I remember it used to be like a penny. I see the minimum fee is like $7.00 knowing fully well that it will take forever to get it confirmed. So.. I shit $18 in tx fee and it took like fucking 6 hours.
Order, did you mean your order is to buy one product with bitcoin? And you will be charged with transaction fees in your total payment for that order?

If you meant so, it is acceptable as the bitcoin network has many waiting transactions and fee is very high. You have to pay more than 130 sat/vbyte if you want your transaction gets its 1st confirmation around 1 or 2 blocks. See the fee in mempool.space

I don't think you meant trading orders on exchanges. With that order type, buy or sell, you will only be charged taker or maker fee. This fee is not affected by the bitcoin network
3052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give reasons why ETH is better than BSC on: April 18, 2021, 03:39:50 AM
I believe that ETH will reclaim it's glory back once gas fee issue is solved, there is also a big difference between BSC and ETH that will still make many prefers ETH, that's the fact that BSC is Centralized and ETH isn't.
They are centralized. You are wrong when you said that Ethereum network is decentralized. If Ethereum is really decentralized, Vitalik and Ethereum team don't resolve the problem after the DAO hack and cause the fork of Ethereum and Ethereum Classic.

BSC give us lower fee for transactions and swaps and that chain is better for fee savings. It is absolutely inaccurate if you say Ethereum is decentralized and it will be more decentralized with PoS. ETH 2.0 with PoS will make the network becomes more centralized.
3053  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex SupporT! Please Help Me!! (Accidentally deposited BTC to USDT wallet ) on: April 17, 2021, 12:40:42 PM
Finally I understood that I need to wait Poloniex support because only they can solve this issue and This Omni changes will not effect my process ..  Am I right ?
Only Poloniex can give you support or reject your recovery request. You received their email that is written with positive signal. They might give you support (or might not but at least they did not reject your recovery request).

You have to calm down, wait for their responses.

If you need more updates from Poloniex for your request, remember that you should never create any new support tickets. New support tickets only mess things up. You must send them email in for your old support ticket (current one) for more updates.

When people are in panic, they create many support ticket for same issue that is not a good action.
3054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【ANN】【RYO】【Cryptonight-GPU】 RyoCurrency - Privacy for everyone on: April 17, 2021, 12:20:37 PM
https://tradeogre.com/exchange/BTC-RYO

even with the newbie accs, the devs are proven with XMR STAK. Now the real question is will privacy coins get their day in the sun? Even XMR is bleeding.
Tradeogre exchange is very friendly with Cryptonight cryptocurrencies. They listed many cryptocurrencies with CryptoNight algorithm in 2017, 2018 and still keep those crypto lively trading. Daily volume for those altcoins are not high in total BTC but in USDT value, it is not small.

The market will have a trend for CryptoNight algorithm cryptocurrencies in this year. Haven Protocol XHV will be a leader of that trend. Tradeorgre exchange will be a great one for you to accumulate cheap CryptoNight cryptocurrencies. Do it when the market has yet noticed to those coins.
3055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITGESELL - Store of value (Burn rate is 90% of tx fees) #realstoreofvalue on: April 17, 2021, 12:14:07 PM
Correction, that is not 21 billion, it's only 21 million (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitgesell/)

Circulating supply is only 10,523,645 BGL, so the price is really cheap at the moment, we just need more exposure and it will only happen with bigger excchanges trading this coin.
You are right.

The total supply is small and price is cheap. If you make your comparison to many overvalued DeFi tokens, you can see this altcoin can have better price. The team have run some contests and increase the exposure of this project in media. I think with this initiatives from the team and the general uptrend of the crypto market, this coin will at least reclaim its all time high days ago.

I even don't think that all time high will be a resistance for BGL for too long.
3056  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex SupporT! Please Help Me!! (Accidentally deposited BTC to USDT wallet ) on: April 17, 2021, 11:58:27 AM
Hi canyalos1

I replied here as you asked me in PM. Thank you for your PM and hope that my post can help you to calm down.
This is my USDT adress which one I accidentally sent bitcoin.
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1Han49haYVjn7rsWYFDfyeLBvKKbmXUNuv?page=1

Transaction ID : 23a63c1a479faedecc3dc959616353e506db95002f3217516f3761db1ede99e8

Amount : +0.39950000 BTC
It is BTC address, not USDT address on OMNI layer. You can confuse that USDT address on OMNI layer has same address as BTC address but you have to be careful.

Send your BTC to your USDT address on OMNI layer on exchanges will result in loss. Many members wrote their advices above and they are correct. You are in bad situation and only can rely on Poloniex support.

Regarding to the USDT on OMNI layer, you can check Binance exchange that stops their support for this one too.

Quote
If they will dont use omni network how can they recover bitcoins with private key..
You have to read what is OMNI layer.

OMNI layer is on bitcoin network and if you know ERC-20 tokens that operate on the Ethereum network, you will easily understand this situation.
- ERC-20 tokens have same address of Ethereum
- However, you will lose them if you send your ERC-20 tokens to Ethereum address on exchanges that don't support those tokens.

The same is for Bitcoin and USDT on OMNI layer.

If exchange gives you support to recover it, you will have to be charged with fee that is not cheap. It is fair because of risks for exchanges.

In one of your emails, Poliniex told you about risks. Let's read the post of theymos about it.
Ideally, it should be handled explicitly in the agreement, but this agreement predated the concept of forkcoins.

Hardforks are not impossible in Bitcoin, Bitcoin is not ruled by miners, and there is no objective way to determine what the true Bitcoin is.
The result of all this is that there is no "Bitcoin governance"; Bitcoin is not governed. No person or group can force their views on anyone else, and even things like the definition of a bitcoin can be subjective
Therefore, if a fork can claim with any sort of sanity that it is the true Bitcoin merely executing a hardfork, and if the agreement doesn't specify, then whoever owned the original BTC ought to own the forkcoins. Otherwise, whoever makes the choice of which Bitcoin is "real" could make the wrong choice. Airdrops that don't/can't claim to be hardforks are different, since they are much more clearly separate things that someone is giving you for doing something.

In the case of the treasury agreement: all forkcoins were always forum property from the beginning. I voluntarily gifted OgNasty the non-major forkcoins, since dealing with them would be more trouble than they're worth. The three forkcoins transferred to me were ones I specified. Airdrops are different. I don't think that OgNasty should've collected airdrops via forum BTC, but collecting and keeping airdrops was not prohibited by the agreement, and the forum has no agreement-wise claim on those coins.

I don't see it as appropriate to demand (or perhaps even accept) the airdrop proceeds. Because the agreement definitely didn't require it, demanding it now could be perceived as exploiting the political atmosphere here to shake down a counterparty.

I stand by my previous analogy:
I suppose an analogy would be a fine-art storage company selling selfies with famous artworks.
It's annoying because:
 - Not asking was unprofessional.
- Taking a private key out of cold storage always has some amount of risk.
 - I now have to spend time on this drama.

The airdrop amount is unimportant, and I'd feel exactly the same if the airdrop amount was 100x more or 100x less. If I'd been holding the BTC, no airdrops would've been received at all, since I never participate in those.
3057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin a real coin? on: April 16, 2021, 01:26:57 PM
Is Dogecoin a real coin and have a good potential or just pumped because Elon Musk tweets?
What is a real or unreal coin in your definitions?

I don't have my definitions for them and cryptocurrencies are cryptocurrencies but their centralization or decentralization are different. Their source codes are different, original codes or copy and paste products from open source codes of older coins.

Quote
I mean is that Dogecoin has a good technology and active development... or is a fake coin!!!
Dogecoin does not have developments but the communities are global. Simple description, the coin is accepted on many exchanges, many gambling sites and many services. It is a unique coin if you consider how funny when it was created and many years after its birthday.

Tweets are like news and cryptocurrencies run with news.
3058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin recommendation for this alts season on: April 16, 2021, 01:10:45 PM
Any recommendation for coins that can give me 50x to 100x , against BTC pairs.  Just sharing my bags do you think these are good? BTC 30%,  ETH 20%, LTC 10%, BNB 10%, UNI 10%, BCH 10%, ADA 10%

Share yours.
Those coins can give you 2x or 3x but they won't give you 10x and higher increases.

If you are greed and want to look for some cryptocurrencies that give you 10x and above, please consider hidden germ with low price and have yet moved up. It is easier to shill small coins and create hype to 10x or higher with tiny cryptocurrencies.

It is your investment with risk and gain so please go to do your own investigations, filters then make careful decisions.
3059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bgl coin, what's the future of this asset? on: April 16, 2021, 02:04:07 AM
Perhaps, you had a big dreams for this project and I appreciate that kind of courage you have with you.
In bull market, you can see magical growth. It happens many times and this bull market will show it again.

Quote
Looking unto $1 was really a wide world for those who received that high pay out, and what's advantage of this signature campaign is that there's already an active trading on this coin. They doesn't ran with other contract, but rather had their own bgl network which I think a huge factor for them to enter the biggest exchanges when that time comes.
Many shit coins had prices from $10 to $50 in 2018 and you can not say it is impossible for new coins or tokens in this year. Bull will lift up everything with good activities and promotions. Projects with product releases and active communities will be able to attract capital from investors.

Capital when it comes in the bull market, will increase the price.

Did you know how many bitcoin signature campaign participants got in the past for one week or one month? Did you know how generous bitcoin faucets were in the past?

Those people could be billionaires if they hold all bitcoin they got. I will hold my BitGeSell till the days people recognize it.
3060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to ETH2 hard fork? on: April 16, 2021, 02:00:43 AM
Soon the ETH network will move to ETH2, and big changes will come with it, as the main change we have the PoW to PoS, this means the mining process will move to staking, and now the miner will be the holders.
It will become party for the rich. Small miners will have less chance to join the party and get income. Exchanges will dominate ETH 2.0 nodes and it can make the network more centralized. Time will show how Ethereum network will become less decentralized.

Quote
So, my question is, what if a hard fork comes and the old ETH users decide to keep alive the old ETH network while ETH2 comes as a new branch on the node? just like it happened with ETC. Is it possible?
I think miners will switch their rigs and hashrates to Ethereum Classic. It is reason for the on-going hype on ETC last few weeks. The coin doubled its price from $12 to $24 and it can rise more.

Where are miners with big hashrates, there will be games of pumps and dumps. Ethereum Classic will have more waves for traders and investors will have good profit from ETC.
