3041  Economy / Speculation / Re: This drama is ridiculous... on: September 01, 2015, 10:02:04 PM
I don't think you will see many seasoned vets complaining. Most of them are making money shorting BTC. They also know these swings happen. Its the new guys/gals who are not use to the market that complain.

Price swings are profit making opportunities for traders that know what to do. Great fun for traders but not so much for people who just bought coins.

Trade is gambling ........... all small trader will loss in long term ... like dice game that house edge never allow you be a winner a long term .......

Because of this %10 of traders are winner in the end .... These traders have so Money ,,,,, like million of dollars not like you or me with thousands of dollar........

this reminds me of 90% of fiat day traders are in the same boat.

Just cause its in a different form lol. Most people think they can make a good ton of money by "predicating" price.

whales make huge profits with their manipulation, they know much better what will happen because they are the market movers. small traders can only make a guess about the right time to buy in and when to sell.
3042  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're on the knifes edge on: September 01, 2015, 09:58:49 PM
Are we still on the knife's edge? If not, please let this thread die...

We never were bro.

every one sees it in a different way. for one it may look like bitcoin is going to fall real hard, and for the other nothing has changed.
3043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Percentage of XT nodes... on: September 01, 2015, 09:56:26 PM
according to bitnodes.io the amount of xt nodes has fallen below 800 currently. i think they will decrease even further as their sever trials slowly expire.
3044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you want to see more in Bitcoin? on: August 31, 2015, 10:13:58 AM
On a purely non technical side I would like to see more people, a larger userbase and a few more main retailers using Bitcoin.

people will come automatically when they have a good reason to use bitcoin instead of fiat to buy stuff. it takes time. we can't have everything at once. building up a large user base takes years and years.
3045  Economy / Speculation / Re: We will break $200 again on: August 31, 2015, 10:11:23 AM
Yes . we will break $200 very soon and i will buy some coins at $130 very soon ...... i am so happy that i have not any coin at now

good luck with waiting. i hope you have plenty of time as we probably will never see the price reach $130 again. but you're probably trolling.
3046  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is dropping fast, but don't panic! on: August 31, 2015, 10:07:24 AM
In a few years, the price will stabilize and may me worth upwards of $800 per coin. By Then people will have really caught on and adapted Bitcoin and the technology is improved. Bitcoin is accepted at more places and there is way more awareness of it. It has the potential to be worth millions of dollars. Anyone who ever believed or invested in Bitcoin will be rich.

every one rich? you know most people don't even have 1 btc, right? and they fully believe in bitcoin. you're talking about people with at least 1000 btc as you mention rich....
3047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin makes revolution on money transfer market ? on: August 30, 2015, 10:34:54 PM
for sure. before bitcoin i had never thought it would be possible to send money from a to b online without a third party. and the best of this all is that we own our money now. we don't have to trust financial companies to take care of our money as we can do it ourself now.
3048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you feel ashamed for recommending Bitcoin to family & friends? on: August 30, 2015, 10:30:08 PM
not at all. every one can make a decision for him self to invest a certain amount, whether you recommended bitcoin to them or not. investments aren't without risk.
3049  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: August 30, 2015, 09:35:49 PM
Bitcoin is unique and should be liked with everything is has.I like in it best more freedom and low fee while I can transfer funds and buy stuff online hassle free

The decentralised factor is the best when it comes to bitcoins, as no other currency gives you this feature and also the best thing is that you can carry as much amount of bitcoins with you in your digital wallet, and no one would even come to know that you have this amount of coins in your digital wallet, as carrying a fiat have a certain limits when it comes to traveling across the countries, but not the same goes with bitcoins.
agree It's not centralized and only you have full control over your money. What will you do, if your government or banks block your access to your money in the bank, like they did in Greece?

if they block your bank account it's most likely too late to do something. that's why you have to take action before they hit you with their shitty sanctions. especially if you live in a country with very weak economy and corrupt government.
3050  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: August 30, 2015, 09:31:32 PM
Yes i belive! In fact I think this could happen sooner than most relize. We have another stock bubble about to pop nobody is really talking about. The Pres. has tried to mitigate the damage but it's coming and I think we will se a HUGE influx in BTC useers.

The bubble is the biggest ponzi in history, the stock market... Baby boomers will begin retiring in 2016 and last I checked you are forced to withdraw a minimum amount of 3.5%. It was 6% but it was changed quickly and quietly. Imagin 3.5% of capital withdrawn from markets every year for the next 20-25 years. OUCH!

stop with dreaming. bitcoin will never replace the us dollar. current financial system is all about control. with bitcoin they lose their loved control. beside that, they will do everything to save the dollar.
3051  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen if Bitcoin reach 1 USD exchange rate? on: August 30, 2015, 09:26:01 PM
What do you think will happen if Bitcoin reach 1 USD exchange rate? Will there be more people joining in to get some cheap Bitcoin? Or will they be a big dump and drop in volume? I personally think that if one day Bitcoin reach 1 USD per Bitcoin it will be the headlines on many newspaper. It will attract lot of attention and more people will buy Bitcoin online while it's cheap.

Dude, this already happened somewhere in 2011.

i am sure he means from now to till in the future and not what has happened in the past. it's simply not possible anymore unless we all leave the project because it failed. even then people will not sell their coins for $1  Smiley
3052  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin future in few words ? on: August 30, 2015, 09:22:42 PM
from the very first day till now my view on bitcoin has not changed. i really believe in its future as currency as well as an investment. that's why i will hold my coins for a very long time.
3053  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buy and hold a good investment option with price around $230 - Aug 2015 on: August 30, 2015, 10:42:13 AM
if you plan to hold your coins for the long term, then yes. but for short term trading it still has to be seen if we'll test the $200 level once again.
3054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: August 30, 2015, 03:46:40 AM
i think like most people i hold my coins for a higher price as it is an investment for me. if the price at some point reaches a price level i am happy with, i will then sell some coins or buy something cool with my coins.
3055  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is crashing. Why? :( on: August 30, 2015, 03:40:11 AM
The first thing is bitcoin is not crashing ..its just getting its stability,
and plus other altcoins is just more profitable than bitcoin but they cant continue that .
so just wait some years .

the problem of people is that they don't have the patience to wait a year. they want profits within a week. such traders are often selling at a loss as they no longer want to wait for the price to go up.
3056  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction 2015 ฿ on: August 30, 2015, 03:34:10 AM
i believe it might go up to 350-400 on the end of this year though thats just my guess its price is really fluctuating a lot it might even get to 200

we'll be lucky if we see the price reach $300 this year. and if we manage to reach the $300 we most likely can't maintain it. $400 is definitely not an option for this year.
3057  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price FLASH CRASH! on: August 30, 2015, 03:30:37 AM
For some reason once Bitcoin nears $300 level something happens or bad news shows up and it falls down to below ~$250 level again.
Is it coincidence, or is a group of traders heavily manipulating the price Undecided

it happened way too many times for me to think it's purely coincidence. there is definitely manipulation going on to keep the price below $300. beside that, we as traders are not willing to buy through their sell orders to achieve anything over $300. which basically means the current price is a fair reflection of what's going on currently.
3058  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Why do people use faucets? on: August 29, 2015, 09:29:53 AM
For collecting small amounts to cover up the transaction fees?  i know that faucet really gives small reward and does not worth the reward they give, but hey it's still a "free" money for some people.

the free thing is what makes people farm faucets while as you also said, it's barely worth the time. but for some people even the satoshi dust is a little bit of extra income, and combine a week of these tiny rewards, and some one in a third world country has got a nice extra revenue stream.
3059  Economy / Speculation / Re: We will break $200 again on: August 29, 2015, 09:24:24 AM
Maybe we'll another flash drops to $198 again Roll Eyes
I hope you'll get a chance to buy those cheap coins

But, if bitcoin really drops below $200 it could be dangerous for bitcoin itself.
Miners could stopped their mining activity & people sell their bitcoin to prevent bigger losses, and if that happened bitcoin would go back again to 2011 Sad

Not really. The difficulty would drop and it'd be easier/cheaper to mine.
This is something reasonable, if bitcoin price down, "big mining company" will shut down some hardware to reduce electric cost
Talk about mining company, i think already shut down not need price down. Like ltcgear, cloudminr. mining now is not profitable, if price still below $300

Yes most of the mining people complaining about no profit. Now only bitcoin demand can bring the price above the 300 level but it will take quite some time. May not be soon.

i can only see the demand increase once the block halving has taken place. we are currently nearly less than a year away from the halving. in that time a lot can happen. it will be a rollercoaster ride.
3060  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is crashing. Why? :( on: August 29, 2015, 09:19:33 AM
Manipulators using the fork as an excuse for fear.
Yes and they also have removed now all the small players from the market by scaring the off.
And now the market is in their full control and they can do whatever they want with it.

the market has always been in control of whales/large investors, nothing new here. these dramatic price movements will indeed scare away weak hands, but the question is, for how long.
