3041  Economy / Gambling / Re: NASCRASH - First Ever Dual Bust Crash Game on: August 19, 2021, 10:37:01 PM
I am a small time gambler but I don't just trust newly launched websites until someone can give an honest review about the site. So i'll start then, using mobile phone then accessing the site is not much of a problem since I can access it normally but when you see the UI for mobile devices it is not well organised well. The site is quite simple to look at but i'll be checking to see what will be added or updated like terms and conditions, and FAQs.

FAQ section is really important especially if the site is a new one.
Should include deposit method, min/max deposit as well as min/max withdrawal, the fees involved.
And honestly, upon visiting the site, the site is simple but most casinos that went down do have this simple interface.
If you want to try the site, better use small funds, as they haven't built their credibility yet.
3042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Paralympic Games? Ethical or not? on: August 18, 2021, 11:57:40 PM
There are always two sides to the discussion and I think both points are valid to be considered concerning those athletes that are involved with Paralympics. But at the end of this, we're looking to them as athletes that will compete and won't be looking at their disabilities.
I'll choose to respect the craft and the bread and butter that they've chosen to live with it and they would understand if there are people that will bet for them and I think they'll even appreciate it just like the usual sports and events that we're betting. And lastly, they're even more fit than me.

Respect is all we need here. It is true, some of them are better than us.
If you will treat them the same as normal people, then, I guess we have no problem here.
There's nothing unethical to bet also on their games, they are also sports that need interest of audience.
And I guess, they will appreciate if there will be fans rooting for them during their performance.
3043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 [ANN] REELMOOD: A Decentralized Live Streaming Music Network 🎵 on: August 18, 2021, 11:32:42 PM
Any artist or singer that you get in touch to possibly test your platform?
You need to be aggressive in marketing these days.
And if possible, it is better if you can attract a popular singer to endorse or utilize your network.
In this way, some of her colleagues will notice this and maybe try using your platform.
3044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: August 18, 2021, 10:53:21 PM
~
What worries Tether is that they don't even know what Tether is Grin, so don't worry about it, and maybe the people who say Tether will be $0 are those who haven't eaten in a week and haven't showered in a month, so their minds aren't healthy. Grin
I am not sure what you are trying to convey here. Tether does not know about Tether  Roll Eyes. What does eating and showering and healthy mind has to do with what Tether is pegged Roll Eyes.

~
You really really cheer me up. How can you make Tether a potential investment? Tether is a stable token, until whenever the price will be pegged to 1:1 with USD. If you want to invest, choose Bitcoin or Altcoin in addition to stable coins. Tether and other stable coins are just to keep your asset value stable from a volatile market.
To all the fans of Tether, initially they claimed that each and every Tether is pegged by USD and the basis of this claim was their word and for a long time they did not published any audit report.

For me it is a scam from the beginning and everyone will understand when everything starts to tumble and the long legal proceedings they have to undergo is another aspect which they are dealing now and the court date is fast approaching.

This is what I am worried about Tether, the truth about their assets backing their currency.
Remember it was 2019 when they admitted that they were not fully backed with assets.

https://www.coindesk.com/tether-lawyer-confirms-stablecoin-74-percent-backed-by-cash-and-equivalents

Now, how sure are we that they are now saying the absolute truth about their assets?
One bad news from them that they are not true to their words, this stable coin may be dropping hard.
3045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should be taxed on: August 17, 2021, 11:56:56 PM
as i know bitcoin is not legal currency in my country, even many countries it's not yet considered a legal tender,
the government does not have the opportunity to collect taxes in any way,
even if it is legal, it will be very complicated for the government to collect taxes

To be able to impose taxes on Bitcoin users, the country must first legalize Bitcoin. But the fact is that there are still many countries that still reject
Bitcoin, so most Bitcoin owners don't pay taxes to my knowledge. Even in my country where the government has legalized Bitcoin, even though it is
only a digital asset, it is still difficult to impose taxes. Actually it is not easy to impose taxes on something that cannot be controlled like Bitcoin,
but there are also some countries that have succeeded in imposing taxes on Bitcoin users. So in the end it all depends on the rules that each
country applies, because every country has different rules for Bitcoin.

Of course, a lot of us are still not paying taxes here from crypto earnings.
Because most countries don't have their regulations in place towards crypto.
So enjoy the moment while you can still freely enjoy tax-free earnings.
Maybe, we will see how El Salvador will formulate tax laws on bitcoin as it is soon to be legal tender on their country.
3046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 17, 2021, 11:35:22 PM
To be honest, the fans that bought tickets should get a full refund... They probably paid big bucks to see a fight that could have been legendary, and now they're left with this dud?

As far as referring to some sources that I looked at, the ticket price has changed and those who bought it early will either get a refund of excess price or will have other perks on the event venue. It's clear that the ticket price shouldn't be the same on the supposed first match.

It's already there and fans should accept what it turned out. Intentional or not, I see Spence Jr is just afraid and concern that he might get lost. Enough of his medical concerned scripts. Smiley

Great if they can get some part of refund or other perks, that means, they really know that this fight is not the same caliber as Pacquiao-Spence.
Hopefully, Ugas will be a toe-to-toe fighter here and not like with Rigo running around the ring.
If he will give a very good fight, he will earn respect from boxing fans even if in case he will be defeated by Pac.
Just like Thurman, even if he was defeated, people still have respect on him because he did what a boxer supposedly should do. Not run away.
3047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some individuals hostile to Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2021, 10:47:14 PM
For some time now I have constantly come across prominent individuals in society sponsoring hate speech against Bitcoin, most surprisedly These individuals either own traditional financial platforms such as banks and they are expected to be knowledgeable in investment and financial transactions and processes that seek to eliminate all the security challenges faced in the banking system through blockchain technology which give end-to-end encryption that guarantees a high level of security.

What are their motives could it be that they are just anti Bitcoin or attacking Bitcoin because it is a competitor that will soon push them out of business.
Can be both!

You dont know if those are just personal views and opinions or just simply they are commanded or been paid up to do so.You know that you cant really please everybody even though Bitcoin is something revolutionary in terms of payment system which it do talks about no 3rd party involved or simply decentralized.

On general sense you could eventually say that this is really a good stuff but there are people who do really hate up specially the government itself.Everything which isnt centralized is really not their taste.

You could really expect those negative thoughts and words against bitcoin and honestly im not really surprised into those after all the years we've been here.

I believe some are not well-versed with the bitcoin technology. So they hate what they don't know.
Or some are somewhat threatened by how fast the adoption in crypto is growing.
And they feel that it is a competitor of their business.
But I think it is more on the insufficient grasp of the technology of bitcoin.
Maybe if they start transacting in bitcoin, they would understand its benefits and stop hating it.
3048  Economy / Economics / Re: China - everything is fine! But everything is bad ... on: August 16, 2021, 09:57:36 PM
Maybe in another 10 years, China will be remembered as the country that once had the opportunity to have a monopoly in Bitcoin mining. They had the perfect conditions - most affordable mining equipment, low cost electricity and productive workforce. But due to the stupidity of the government, the miners are moving their infrastructure to the neighboring countries such as Kazakhstan and Mongolia. And when global acceptance of Bitcoin happens, the Chinese government will regret about the lost opportunity they once had.
Regrets is something that i do believe for the government of China would able to felt and if we do consider on how rich they are on rankings compared to other countries then i dont really see that they would really be minding about revenue or profits out of those miner but i do agree that they do really lost up  that opportunity. Honestly, crypto community does really have  that kind of  bad impression due to their banning decisions
but look at on where we now?  How it did  really badly affect the market? Nothing that much right?  This do proves  out that  China government is everything. They could do those  decisions but doesnt mean
that it would be  completely be the end of  this  market.

We really see that all their negative approach to crypto don't significantly impact the existence of crypto in the market.
It may have had influence at the beginning when they banned the miners and other crypto-related activities, but yes, look at where we are now.
Bitcoin is still climbing up its price and seems that the crypto market in general is really not affected by the change of approach of Chinese government.
Later on, they may change their stance towards crypto, when everybody else is benefiting from this market.
3049  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to trigger central bank collapse on: August 16, 2021, 09:32:14 PM
this is really hard to say bitcoin is triggering the collapse of the central bank because at the moment central banks are still the real payment place for many people and they hate BTC they think BTC is a virtual currency and is not stable.
They did not hate BTC, they just have no idea what is Bitcoin.

But on the question, I think there's no reason to think that Bitcoin will make the central bank collapse because the Central bank is government, so it's tantamount to saying that the government will collapse, IMO, it's not gonna happen and it's very unrealistic to think about that.

Getting hype is okay and bitcoin really has a good potential of increase in adoption in the future, but not to the same level as the number of fiat users now.

I don't think we will see in our lifetime that bitcoin will indeed trigger the collapse of central banks.
I understand a lot of people are very happy with this new invention in digital currency.
But it is too early to think that it will significantly impact the traditional way of banking system.
Let us be grateful that some banks are already accepting crypto but replacing the local fiat, I don't think that's gonna happen in the coming years.
3050  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥NEW game CRYPTOS release 🔥 |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| 📈HotBit listing on: August 16, 2021, 08:42:30 PM

After all, Betfury currently opens several staking/farming methods and we know this way brings investors to hold their tokens to double BFG
Trading activity is certainly lower for that reason besides doubling the BFG investors are also waiting for a bigger exchange so they hope to get 2 benefits at once

I guess we just need to be a little bit more patient and than hopefully, the tokens will be listed on some bigger exchanges (e.g. Binance).

Has anybody already done some calculations what the ROI would be if you would buy right now 1000 BFG tokens? The price seems quite low and it would be interesting to know, after how many months of receiving dividends, the initial investment would be earned back.

Are you going to put the 1k BFG tokens to farming or staking?
Because for staking, you can get the approximate payouts from their site, you just need to calculate at 1k tokens.
But for farming, this one is quite difficult as the APR changes from time to time, so you can't get good estimates here.
Also their farming has only certain number of blocks to be finished. So you don't know if you can get the dividends that you want after the round is finished.
At the end of the day, you will be the one who will decide where to put your tokens, in staking or farming?
3051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 💎[ANN][PLAY TO EARN] SURVIVAL NFT | SHOOT-TO-EARN GAMES 💎 on: August 16, 2021, 08:05:13 PM
Dear Survival NFT I am a gamer by heart and like new projects but I see something strange that needs to be mentioned and want a proper answer from you.

How comes you have the same game like https://pandemic-games.org/pshooter.html The same assets, The same weapons. So pandemic shooter this is running on the Enjin blockchain. I tried to go into conversation in telegram but you right away blocked me. You think this can stay under the radar? I have bad news for you then.

Is this a game engine that is for sell? That pandemic games and Survival NFT are using the same game engine?

Like to hear you out. Thanks.

The team should answer the above query because he may not be the only one that will notice this similarity.
Sooner or later, you will address this question, maybe from another player. So better prepare yourself to find a valid answer.

NFT-based games are starting to attract interest from the gaming community.
This is a good one as even if you are spending some funds to buy your character, you have the chance to earn also.
A lot of gamers are only spending money on their games, and they are not receiving any form of compensation.
3052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are meme/NFT investment really worth the hype they're getting?. on: August 16, 2021, 04:02:11 PM
Obviously, no. People just found new source of "easy" money. Now they are hyping and trying to earn more money from thin air

Meme tokens for me are not really worth the hype they are getting at.
But NFT, they have use case that the community needs.
Like in games or as NFT collectibles created by artists/personalities or athletes.
NFT is a new digital way to connect these personalities to their fans.
This is why a lot of popular personalities are now discovering the world of NFT.
And this hype is just in the early phase. It will grow more in the next coming years.
3053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 16, 2021, 01:08:55 PM
To me I think that the games that the OP is referencing fulfill the conditions of being a gambling game, many times people say that those that are not following any kind of strategy when they invest are gambling, but that is not true because with gambling you need to also get some fun in the process, and to me the games that are being referenced qualify as gambling games, personally I will not recommend anyone to have any expectation of eventually making their money back but if they want to get some fun maybe the games could be worth it.
Have you ever tried it? Or any other RPG game with its own economy for that matter? I've tried myself a few NFT games (Axie infinity being the most famous out of most of them) and I can say for myself, it isn't a gamble. A gamble is something where the chance of winning is 50/50. NFT games are not, they're play to earn type of games, you earn as long as you play it. I myself have gotten a ROI of around 500%? (Invested around $400, im sitting at $2000 right now, including the value of the stuff I use to play the games with) in around 3 months only. You can even use the game to trade, buying good items and whatnot that you think would rise in price later on.

That's a wow and really good way of investing your money,

there are people who still gaining more and still moving forward using this new venue of investment, they seen good opportunities after the success of someone who already inside this play to earn games.

in your case, 500% and still holding your characters really worthy if they are saying that you are into gambling right?

That kind of return is not easy in gambling. The usual scenario is you will lose all those 400 bucks in one sitting if you don't know how to control yourself.
This is another gaming system that can really give you high profits, that is, if you choose a reliable and worthy platform.
I believe, not all NFT-based games can produce such interest to the community and can give you good returns.
But the risk here is quite low as compared to luck-based games. If you know what you are doing as a player, this will be a very good source of income for players.
3054  Economy / Economics / Re: How to identify high-quality projects in the primary market? on: August 16, 2021, 10:01:20 AM
As I've said in the past about choosing the right project in cryptocurrency, it is like looking for a needle in a haystack. There are tens of thousands of bad projects with only a handful of good ones. So if you are to get into crypto with the least risk, you better go right straight to the number 1 and that's Bitcoin.

And although you may be right in your steps in identifying a high-quality crypto project, how many of us actually scrutinize whitepapers, websites, technical backgrounds of team members, project technical innovations, and so forth?

The problem with scrutinizing papers or other documents, is that you can't really tell if they will indeed implement their objectives.
How many projects have we seen to have a very well-written and comprehensive whitepaper but ended up a failure?
Team members with very good educational and industry background, and yet, they ended up abandoning the platform.
In my opinion, one way to identify quality projects is if the platform is successful in attracting active users.
Not only at the beginning of the launch (because some are being obliged to register if part of the campaign or there is airdrop), but also after years of its existence in the market.
That means, we can't identify a high-quality project at the beginning just by the docs they presented, but should be years of their operations in the market.
3055  Economy / Gambling / Re: Exbet is LIVE >> The Bitcoin Betting Exchange [exbet.io] on: August 16, 2021, 09:05:22 AM
By any chance, are you planning to add other payment options other than bitcoin?
Maybe at least one or two additional currencies like TRX or LTC with very cheap fees.
And that may attract some small time players here.
Been a while that you only accept btc, though the name of your site itself says that it is exclusively for bitcoin.
3056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Bitcoin as a local currency! on: August 15, 2021, 11:48:53 PM
Everyone on the forum knows what Bitcoin is. We already know that many countries have removed this currency from the ban. I mean, will all the nations of the world use Bitcoin as a currency? How important will it be? It will not go to the good side to the bad side?I want to know the opinion-
El Salvador has accepted bitcoin as a legal tender but possible other countries may not accepted that. Also some other countries are working towards accepting bitcoin as a legal form of payment but not as a legal tender. It depends on what the future holds, if the governments see bitcoin as threat, they will regulate it in a way it will not be used more of currencies but this does not change bitcoin at all to be an asset, this is the reason why I like bitcoin.

We should not expect that every country will follow the path of what El Salvador has taken.
Every country has their own financial approach towards crypto.
Just be grateful if some of them are already considering btc as a legal form of payment.
The adoption that btc has achieved today is I think already more than what Satoshi has envisioned.
Regulation of crypto is not part of it, but as time goes by, we just accept it to further increase its scope of use.
3057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: August 15, 2021, 11:31:15 PM

Exactly, if the government will impose high taxes on gambling, it's either they want to make more revenue while keeping the business alive or they just want to kill the industry as they don't want to put a complete ban on gambling. The purpose is really important, and if gambling operators still continue to operate despite the high taxes, that means they can afford to pay the taxes as they are running a profitable business.

Casinos are government's cash cow because it is patronized by rich people and the flow of money is continuous, the government knows that the money keeps flowing in and they want to have a share of that profit by imposing huge taxes, seldom we read that casinos folding because of the high taxes when they just impose the additional taxes to their players, so I believe the casinos will not die because of high taxes.
Agreed, the government will continue to milk such casinos because they are one of the most lucrative sources of revenue because many gamblers play there 24/7. Because gambling is one of the affluent people's pastimes, large sums of money are constantly in circulation, and most casino minimum bets are so expensive that the typical person cannot afford them. So even the government implement such high taxes on gambling casinos, it'll run smoothly as nothing happened because of the high percentage of the business' revenue.

We all know that casinos are one of the lucrative sources of government's money.
And the casinos will not agree with the implemented tax if they will head to bankruptcy.
So if the casino feel that they can't pursue their business because of the tax, they can always negotiate with the government.
The government will not resort to closing them down but instead the situation is more on meeting halfway.
Unfortunately, the casino needs the government's permission before they can continue their business.
3058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO] Sekoapy Exchange - is changing the world with cryptocurrency. on: August 15, 2021, 10:55:03 PM
Our real life Credibility is on the line here we will not turn into a "fly-by-night exchange".

All the devs of the many dead projects have said that in one form or another.

Definitely, they will not accept such label to their platform.
But time will tell how far they will survive in this market.
But first, we need to see first their exchange to be operational and if they can attract traders.
I hope we will not see wash trading just to increase their trading volume.
Also, if possible, be more strict in listing tokens or coins, don't list crap coins with no use case at all.
3059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 15, 2021, 10:17:03 PM
The first time that Rigondeaux was criticized this much.

That's why he needs to retire because he is not effective anymore, the running capability is still there but the punching power was not present anymore. He hit Casimero with clean shots also but it looks like Casimero was not even tagged, at his age now, he should retire and enjoy life after boxing.

I watched the post fight interview and it is really disappointing even the answers coming from Rigo.
He said, that's the only style he knows to win (maybe, referring to running style), and he only needs few punches to win this fight.
And the ridiculous part, is that he really thought he won. After all the running and hugging, you expect to win this fight?
A challenger should be more aggressive not running away from the title holder.
This man should really retire, he is just wasting people's money, and maybe this is the reason why he can't get much followers.
I hope his promoter will not arrange fight anymore. We want real fight not running challenge inside the ring.
3060  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥NEW game CRYPTOS release 🔥 |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| 📈HotBit listing on: August 14, 2021, 11:25:55 PM
I just noticed that they are not yet listed on Coingecko and on https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/betfury/markets/ Biswap is not listed when it's the first exchange that listed Betfury, these two should be fixed.
I don't know the reasons why biswap exchange hasn't yet been added to platforms such as coingecko and coinmarketcap. However, there is also good news because the trading pair(BFG/USDT) on the hotbit exchange has finally been added to the Betfury page on CMC.
This is true. Then, who should be held responsible for this? I've been waiting a long time, but nothing has happened. On coinmarketcap, Biswap just recently listed. Thus, it might take a little longer for BetFury. They are only starting to track all the data, so hopefully they will take that into account.

As far as I know, the team (BFG) themselves should submit their application to be listed in either cmc or coingecko.

If betfury will look at this link (or maybe they already have) - https://support.coinmarketcap.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043659351-Listings-Criteria
They can see the link integrated in this article about the online submission request

https://support.coinmarketcap.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Would be nice for them to see in these listing sites as they are the go-to of most users to check the overview of a specific coin/project.
