2041  Economy / Economics / Re: Constant defamation of crypto on: May 11, 2022, 11:59:34 PM
Perhaps on some level, people fear change. They fear abandoning horses for automobiles. Outhouses for indoor toilets. This fear of change extends to new emerging trends like bitcoin and crypto.

It took 10 years for sailors to mass adopt the explanation of vitamin C deficiency causing scurvy. Even when all of the available evidence and documentation points to a single cause. There is still considerable fear and controversy associated with it.

Even if bitcoin and crypto were a perfect and flawless technology with no disadvantages. It would still take people time to overcome their fear of change and adopt it.

They need to experience first hand to remove such fear.
Because most people fear the unknown. So up until they will take a dip on this market, they won't understand this market.
Let us admit that the first time we heard about this market, we were also hesitant at the beginning.
But that will change once you try your hands into this, if you have no knowledge in any market, definitely you will think of things not favor on the subject.
So be more open mind and learning a new market is not actually very hard. But being ignorant is the most common reason why people are in fear of something.
2042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything stop on: May 11, 2022, 11:36:30 PM
Todays current situation for Luna all my works just stop and cant belive whats going on with this scenario!!  Lost too much in my life savings!! Now thinking about invest on btc at least there is no chance like 98% dump at least stable coin looking to more risky!!

the right choice if you invest bitcoin not in other coins if even other coins I think the coin is eth and BNB not on other stable coins
because if you invest in BTC the possibility of your money back and always worth is on the coin

BTC may be down today, but the probability of going up its prices is always there.
So for the OP, he can very well invest in BTC today while it is down, at least recover your losses from your other investments once the market is going green again.
That's the challenge of investing in other alts, the possibility of losing big because it will be dump big also.
But once you learn your lesson, you will be more cautious with your choices when it comes to alts.
2043  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin fall below $30k on: May 11, 2022, 10:51:44 PM
Most of the bitcoin supporters had their positive post here. Some people had criticised the bitcoin and most of the coin. The bearish market begins in bitcoin after a huge gap.So I suggest all the traders and investors to hold your money in crypto currency.Cashing out to Fiat doesn’t had any good use.Because the bitcoin will get back to 40k dollars for sure.Don’t do panic selling.

If there is really no urgent need for your crypto to convert to fiat, then don't.
This is just another bearish moment in btc, and sooner or later, we will see it rising again in no time.
Those panic sellers will regret once we are seeing the recovery of the market.
This is just another test for those weak hands to how long they can hold while seeing the market in red position.
2044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am curious about bounties on: May 10, 2022, 11:16:49 PM
I think if you want to get a lot of results from the bounty campaign I suggest you don't just participate in the signature campaign because now there are so many bounty campaigns that have many other options besides the signature campaign, you can participate in social media or content that can provide additional results from the bounty campaigns.
Sure. More campaigns to follow means more chances to earn bigger money. Besides the signature campaign, there are some other campaigns that usually have a big allocation as well (Translation campaign, Video (Youtube) campaign, and Article (Blog) campaign). I sometimes take a look at the spreadsheet for some bounties, the people who followed these campaigns also got a big number of rewards (payment). But of course, to join these campaigns, we need specific skills, and it should take a long time to learn them. Except, you are already professional in creating videos, articles, or translating texts.

If you have other skills, why not? Like creating videos or writing articles.
This is actually one avenue to hone your skills. You can also learn the project itself while doing those activities.
But if you feel you are about to promote a scam or ponzi project, better not continue promoting the project.
It is your moral compass whether to continue accepting payment from a potential scam and live with your life that you are about to ruin somebody's life because you promoted it.
2045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra USD, proved its not a stablecoin on: May 10, 2022, 09:54:21 PM
Jerry, I think exactly like you, it's both idiotic fear and exaggeration.

If you don't have to use it at that moment, why cry so much?
assuming it returns to 1.
And I repeat those who bought at 0.7 and went to 0.9 is a lot of profit, how many BTC did Luna sell to be able to bank the price?

People panic for something they fear about its unknown future.
I do agree that if you have no reason to sell, why sell it at a loss?
Better wait for it to go back to its $0.9-1.0 price range, and maybe sell if you are too worried about this market.
For me, there's nothing to panic about because if you can see the volume, it is still one of the largest in the markets.
So they won't be exiting anytime soon. Better wait for it to recover, sell and get out if you don't want a headache.
2046  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: May 09, 2022, 09:58:14 PM
We should not be surprised that Putin was more prepared for the out of the war. He knows that sanctions will come from NATO countries and also from the European countries. I don't think he is tired of ending the war because is like he is regrouping is soldiers to get ready for another battles. We don't know he's next move but I think the world nations should fix a meeting with him so that the war can be end. A lots of soldiers had already lost there lives because of the war.

I think, as you write, Putin is prepared for many months of war, maybe even years. To stop the war now would be equivalent to defeat, and Putin will certainly not admit to that. If the boycott of casinos means that Russia has less money to support this war, in my opinion we should do it. It is possible that less people will die thanks to us.
Ego is one of the things for sure on why Putin hadnt stopped this war.Do you believe on that? Its true on what you had said about admitting defeat. Its true that no one does have the idea on how long Russia
would able to sustain sanctions or economic problems but we are currently seeing that they've stood strong onto  their decision but wont be surprised that these things would be over.
We arent minding about economic failures but rather minding on the lives wasted because of this war which we do really be in concern.

Of course I believe that Putin ego is the biggest problem that is keeping him from stopping this war.

Unfortunately, if the NATO countries do not want a direct clash with the Russian army, then the tightening of sanctions against Russia is probably the only peaceful tool other countries have at the moment. In my opinion, the boycott of casinos may also contribute to the fact that this war will even shorten a little.

I don't think boycotting casinos will have great impact about shortening this war.
This is just one small niche that people can boycott in terms of Russian business.
And besides, most of these businesses are not assisting Putin's agenda.
They don't even like this war because it is affecting their business, so financially supplying Putin's plans. I don't think so.
Maybe, there are some businesses but not all. And up until now, we don't know what will make Putin to finally end this war.
2047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A time people have been waiting for bitcoin to drop on: May 09, 2022, 09:37:51 PM
Here's the truth: Most people will not buy at the absolute best price. There's not way to predict that. But seeing as this is a huge drop from Bitcoin's highest point, I'd say it's a good time to buy it. I've been telling people that this time has been coming and to hold off buying at high prices and I've been laughed at and ridiculed. One, two, three times, how many times do people need to see a pattern repeat itself to expect that it will happen again? And at almost regular intervals too! The point is, you may buy at 31k and see it drop at 28k. Big deal! Historically, after a big rally Bitcoin drops by a lot but usually not below the highest price that it had reached in the previous big rally (that was about 20k for last one, in the end of 2017).

A lot of people are waiting for this price and yet, some of them won't still buy.
Because they are thinking that it may possibly go down more but to what value they will buy, right?
If you are one of those users who swear they will buy when btc drops to 30k, what are your thoughts now?
Remember the times when you tell yourself, you are already too late for the party.
But now, it is a very good opportunity for you to think your chances. Don't wait too long because we may not see this price level again.
2048  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Plagiarized Whitepaper - Existence Infinity Metaverse ($EXIS) on: May 09, 2022, 09:18:55 PM
I see people praising Certik here, remember Arbix Finance? Fully certified by Certik, pulled a rug scam, and investors were left with the certification.
It just shows how bar is set low in crypto where such an incompetent and shady company as Certik is probably the market leader. I read recently that they managed to raise ~230 million dollars in the last year or so, with $2 billion evaluation.

They are so shady that they have no issues certifying obvious ponzi schemes that then use Certik name to appear legit and attract investors. Last year I reported one ponzi scheme that was in the process or auditing by them. I provided them all the evidence but they simply didn't care, ignored my warnings and gave that scam nice rating. Gg.

Audit companies are mostly after for the payment from their clients.
They may even put in their disclaimer that they are just an audit company and they are not responsible if the company turned out to be scam.
This is the sad part in any market, because for them it is all about business. And don't care about the companies that they are working with.
As long as they can put a disclaimer and say they are not liable for any financial losses of the customers of their companies they are dealing with.
For example, Certik made a name already so the investors have high regards on the projects they audited and used their logo.
So people mostly forget to dig more about the project and its capabilities because they are trusting that the audit company already did their job.
2049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Concern of illegal use of crypto on: May 09, 2022, 08:46:34 PM
Money laundering? Seriously, we're now blaming cryptocurrencies for that? For years, people were creating offshore companies or even non existent ones just for show in order to launder money for decades. Cryptocurrencies have been around for a few years compared to fiat, but suddenly they are to blame for everything.

Yes, I don't deny that they're being used in illegal activities, such as the darknet markets whatsoever, but they're certainly not accountable for this world corruption.

Criminals use Fiat more than crypto for money laundering activities. But governments keep pushing the narrative that crypto is used for illegal purposes in order to lure people away from it. Can you imagine what will happen if people began using crypto on top of Fiat? Governments and central banks will lose power, putting an end to bureaucracy for good. These entities still want to stay in power, so they'll do everything they can to spread misinformation and false propaganda against crypto in order to minimize its use in the mainstream world. As long as decentralization prevails, there should be nothing to worry about. Who knows if crypto gets to live alongside Fiat for generations? Just my thoughts Grin
It infuriates me when people claim that cryptocurrencies are the root of all evil. I fully understand that they are used in illegal activities, such as buying/selling drug substances, guns, illegal accounts etc. on Darknet markets, however, fiat is still the primary currency being used for this kind of illegal activities. Alright, ban cryptocurrencies to avoid such incidents, because that should do it!

Up until today, fiat has still the largest illegal activities going on.
Some people are just highlighting the bad aspects where crypto can be used in fraudulent activities.
But these same people are not seeing the reality that fiat is still the major means of these illegal acts.
It is like accusing bitcoin mining of consuming much energy, whereby, other big companies can continuously waste energy.
It is now up to the people how they approach on these things, are they going to be discouraged because of this misleading propaganda?
2050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 09, 2022, 07:53:49 PM
this is really a concern for me because the average fighting cock in cockfighting (this is what I see in cockfighting in my city) is equipped with small knives in their feet. Cockfighting is proof that humans still like to see animals tortured for profit and that makes those who like cockfighting look no better than animals.

I have seen this short documentary in youtube about Sebong/cockfighting
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7GazqNRIr4
the author has a dilemma. we are so sure to treat animals so well in Western countries? after all we raise them in dismal conditions and then we kill them badly (just having seen earthlings).

meanwhile "fighters" are treated throughout their life with care and attention ... "they also take vitamins"!

actually the doubt arises ...but seeing two animals dueling until their death is still deplorable and really sad Sad

I believe this is like horse racing where you can't discard the game from the society as it is already part of the culture.
And because it has been rooted for decades and decades, people can't just remove it even if we know there are some mistreatment towards the animals involved.
You can just close your eyes and not participate in this kind of sports because going against with the culture is hard.
They can ban online cockfighting, but I have the feeling that it is only temporary because of the disappearing issues of its agents.
It will go back again as the people behind this sports are influential to these political individuals. Let us see if they can keep this protocol.
2051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading journals worth it? on: May 09, 2022, 07:04:24 PM
Trading journals just an instruction books or a pages of instructions where you can earn knowledge about how can reduce or minimise trading losses. But I think before getting introduction with trading, one should gather information about trading from differents trading journals.
Yes, I agree and also one should apply it in actual trading not just reading with it because you will never know how effective or what is effective or the best trading strategy for you. Even if you know how to do it you should still write it on your journal for future reference since you'll never know when you will stop or teach someone in the future.

Of course, if you want to learn about the trading you just read you should apply it in actual trading that's why reading for me is not enough. Since not everyone could do it even if they read it already so it's best to find your best trading strategy.

And most of the time, there are different factors in play in every situation.
This is why some outcome will deviate from each other depending on the factors involved.
As you can read those tons of information, I do agree that actual execution is still different.
So if you are just starting, start small where you think you can accept your losses.
But it doesn't mean that your journey will stop from those losses but just a start to learn more things about this market.
2052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 08, 2022, 11:47:29 PM

We don't know that for sure and that's another speculation that Donaire has some plans to lure him and eventually take him out of the picture, honestly I can't really think that Donaire would do such thing to his co-Filipino boxer.

It's really unfortunate to Casimero because he did faced many complications towards this supposed fight against Butler but for the 2nd time he still didn't make it and worse he has been stripped of his belt.

Only speculation but no basis at all, in my opinion.
Because Donaire has no control if Casimero will not make it because of his weight problems.
So whether he is from Probellum or not, it is on Casimero's camp to ensure that he is on the right track to fight.
The promoter itself will not dictate the future of the boxer, but the boxer himself, his actual performance inside the ring.
Donaire may probably have good intentions with this initiative, but now, it seems he is receiving negative criticism because of this act.
2053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazil’s first Bitcoin law receives a green signal from Senate . on: May 08, 2022, 09:41:09 PM
When ever I see a regulation, sanctions or law on Crypto-currency, I help to wonders why we are moving backwards when the would is to be moving forward, it didn’t take me too long the Opportunities Crypto-currency offers so I am wondering how hard is it for the governments of countries to see all these benefits, El Salvador and so other countries has taking the bold step and that I applaud but when can we see a complete adoption? To me I think it would take a long time.

It seems going backwards but to move forward, regulation is inevitable for the government to get a hold of their crypto market.
They may not get the whole market within their jurisdiction but it would give them some sort of control if they are regulating those crypto-related businesses.
Hence, this initiative is deemed to be moving forward when it comes to acceptance with crypto industry.
Without regulation and other related protocols from the government, it would be hard for them to approach crypto.
So yes, if we want more adoption, we should be ready to submit ourselves to certain kyc requirements from our government.

I am curious, if someone is using this Whisper MSG wallet, and he wants to transfer his coins outside the wallet,
what network is this wallet under? Like for example if he wants to transfer to binance?
I haven't installed the wallet yet, so don't know the advantage of owning one.
Can someone give us possible quick benefits of using this wallet as compared to like trust wallet?
2055  Economy / Gambling / Re: I miss the old OnChain gambling on: May 08, 2022, 07:47:21 PM
I have encountered that type of casino but I believe, that kind of gambling will not be a hit anymore in today's situation.
For one, because there are so many scammers, we don't know if the operator will be honest with their operations.
Also, if you are not creating your account, it is hard to prove that you are the owner if you happen not to screenshot your games or save your address/keys.
With centralized gambling sites, you have the chance to recover your account if you forgot your password as you can contact their support.
People nowadays prefer centralized as they have more confident that if something goes wrong, they can always contact the site or other people to help them out of the situation.
2056  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may likely pull back to 35k on: May 08, 2022, 05:54:54 PM
When it reached under 30k for a brief time, that was the moment it started to hit back again and reached 68k after that. This is why I believe that the same will happen right now as well. We are just reaching the bottom, for now when that bottom is reached and we do not go any lower, the result will be just going up for a long long time and maybe even break ATH for sure. This is why I hope that we bottom out soon, no matter how low it gets, as long as it reaches that as quickly as possible and we start to recover I will be fine with it. Let's not lose any hope because it will reach there very shortly for sure.
I will advise you not to make use of the market's previous trend which happened through the role played by the institutional investors because with all the Bitcoin accumulation done by Grayscale and Luna it never show much effect on the price of the BTC market.
For the record of the market momentum that always happens during the Bitcoin halving market, we ought to be in the market correction which I believe was delayed due to institutional investors accumulation, and if the downtrend market persists then it means the market correction has finally happened.

But in this market, we are always surprised for what's about to happen next.
As we don't know if our speculations will happen or not, we are just waiting for the market's next movement.
It is true that we should never rely on previous trend because the factors are already different.
And the stakeholders are also changing or increasing. The contributing factors are varying each day.
But one thing we have seen, if btc goes down, somewhere down the road, it will always bounce back.
But when? Nobody knows. So if you feel this level right now is a good opportunity to accumulate, why not?
2057  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💥🔥hilobit.live🔥💥 | BET HI or BET LO to roll 🤩 and the WIN BTC! 🤑 on: May 07, 2022, 11:35:35 PM
Welcome but disappointing just what others are addressing that you, OP had never replied to any single query in here. You need to improve your communication with your potential customers that would be interested to bet with this hi-lo game of yours.

Honestly, there are a lot of improvements needed to be done with this website. You might want to consult some experts on building up your UI and the casino itself.

Because he is not that serious with his project, I see already some user he asking a good  question and some are already thinking that his gambling site might be a scam or not safe to play with and if you are really serious about your site, then you are going to defend or explain it as soon as possible but the OP is not active anymore.
This is the case that we used to see.

Yeah, maybe not really serious with their business or the lack of communication skills to address what should be fixed or just to be answered for those inquiries that have been brought.

It's an assurance if there's a representative, owner, or anyone who works for them to answer those questions clearly.

We have a lot of newcomers in this forum, and we know if a casino is serious or not by how they manage their site as well as their communication.
All of these casinos start from somewhere, but they differentiate each other on how they do business with the community.
Some are even offering lucrative bonuses or rewards, while others are offering race contests or art contests.
But most of the time, we can prove their sincerity once they established their niche and earn their reputation among gamblers.
2058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler turns 60 pounds bet into £157,865.59 on: May 07, 2022, 10:27:32 PM

How can you explain such fortunate winning happening for real? It looks unlikely and unrealistic even for a Hollywood movie script!
Imagine the sequence of events needed in order to deliver the results that would perfectly fit the predictions of this impressive lucky gambler.

Actually, I guess luck purely can't explain this event, there must be something else! Or are these fake news?

Theoretically, such a win is possible, so I see no reason why this could be fake news.
It seems that it is not known how many coupons this person filled in, so theoretically he could fill a lot of bet slips and this one combination just became lucky. This is truly unbelievable luck, but still possible.

It is not everyday that we can see a lucky person but yes, it is possible.
We don't need an explanation for this kind of winning, this is just combination of luck and knowledge of the bettor.
Remember, when it comes to sportsbetting, the more you know about sports, the higher your chance of getting the correct outcome.
But with a long list of bets, now, there's luck also on that. I can't even correctly answers those free bets offered by bookies.
2059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 07, 2022, 07:19:50 PM
I did a little googling about horse racing and found this...

Quote
Horse racing is an ancient sport. Its origins date back to about 4500 BC among the nomadic tribesmen of Central Asia (who first domesticated the horse). Since then, horse racing has flourished as the sport of kings.

Even today, horse racing is still called the sport of kings. it's almost impossible to get banned on horse racing because the opponents are nobles who still love horse racing and make bets on it. Honestly, I really like watching horse racing and I don't really support this old sport being banned.

I also don't think that this old sports will seriously find an organization or group that will sincerely ask for total ban.
You will go against the top class of society. And I don't think one will be successful in doing so.
Maybe, what one can do is to call these racehorse owners to stop the drug abuse or any other illegal means to these animals.
But who can strictly oversee this protocol? That's another thing because some people who is in charge can be bribe also.
