Theymos is the boss. I'm not about to start a mutiny especially for something that is just going to up my workload and cause me nothing but stress and headaches. I can't do anything without his help anyway because it's futile trashing threads or banning accounts when they'll just run the campaigns off site hence why their signatures need to be blacklisted.

Inactivity. He hasn't really been active here for the past year or so. He was removed as an admin more than a month ago. Not sure when exactly but I'd say two or three. Edit: it was sometime in April.

Do you have any of your old emails from them as it includes your identifier at the bottom? If not you could try send a small amount to one of the addresses if you had email notifications turned on as it'll send you an email notifying you of the payment.

If I had my way any problem campaign would be given a warning and would have few days to clean up their campaign and PM me a list of removed users. If people were still spamming/copying and pasting etc all their bounty and announcement threads would be trashed and their accounts would be banned. Their campaign signatures would also need to be blacklisted but getting theymos to do that seems unlikely as I've requested several be removed but no action was taken. Banning spammers is utterly futile when there's literally hundreds on each campaign just churning out utter shite or even worse copying and pasting (and you ban one account and they just keep on evading on their half dozen other ones). Several new campaigns pop up every month and this is going to get worse the more people realise you can literally get paid millions of dollars for nothing but coming up with a half-assed Ann thread.


Most campaigns don't care. If there's no repercussions why would they? If shitcoin campaigns started having their threads here trashed and accounts banned I'm sure they'd soon change their ways because it would severely restrict their cash cow. These scam ICOs are regularly taking in millions of dollars in funding and it's all promoted by spammers destroying the forum in the process.

Pretty much. Theymos is slow to act on numerous issues if at all. You're lucky to get a PM response back for even a minor issue. If I had my way a problem campaign would be given a warning that they have a few days to drastically clean up their campaign and PM a list of spammers they have removed. If they didn't or spam was still clearly a problem I would trash all their bounty and announcement threads and ban their accounts along with blacklisting their signatures (which was meant to happen with the signature campaign guidelines thread but several campaigns have been requested to be removed and no action has been taken). Either theymos doesn't care, doesn't have time, or would just prefer the forum/community to largely police/run itself (which is going to be straight into the ground).

I think they should be banned or disallowed completely, especially those that do little to nothing at all about the spam coming from their signature campaign (which is 99% of them).

Forum has been giving a lot of errors recently. May be related to theymos tinkering with the forum.

Ironically I got the error on this thread multiple times as well.

I'm sure they can if they're from a developing nation. You can get 0.14 a month on Bitmixer for 200 posts which would pay my bills in the UK so I'm sure it's worth at least three times as much in India (though Lauda does a good job of keeping poor posters off the campaign and likely wouldn't accept op). I'm all for people from poorer countries earning some cash here and think it's a great thing but it can't come at the expense of the forum which has basically just degenerated into a place for people from said nations to earn a living by spamming barely coherent posts (and hundreds just copy and paste someone else's posts because they can't even speak English and then times that over multiple accounts). Some people are also doing more than just supporting their families. Some are just straight up greedy like this Russian guy who had 200 accounts all on campaigns. He's also not the only one with such an amount. Some Chinese farmers likely have several hundreds and those are just the ones I know of. Some people are making a very good living from this forum.

Newbies won't read it or they're too stupid to understand. People here are so lazy and greedy and eager to start shitposting they wont bother to search for answers or figure it out so they'll just create a thread for it which helps them rank up in the process.
