I hate to say it, but I really feel like this is going to hurt and discredit bitcoin magazine as a journalistic entity. Its really unfortunate that this type of discussion became hostile.
Really they should never have responded on the forums at all beyond a simple we have emailed you concerning this matter. Everybody in this thread looks bad at this point. for the reading impaired, "I'd like to hear what all of you think." I don't mind being called impaired, it goes with the "retarded" comment I've received elsewhere. What I think is it is odd that we're being asked an opinion of a forum member that has not posted in the last six months. I think I'd like to know why my (and others) are being polled for their opinion. I was guessing it's a business that wants to know if they should advertise there or not. That's why I think it's a mostly relevant thread for trading discussion. Either that or one of Bruce's friends seeing if he can come back without everybody making a stink. |

You can, at least, mark all threads "read" at once. I pick out the ones I read, then mark all left ones read too.
That's what I do, read what I'm actually interested in then click the button that says mark all as read, it will clear the rest of the list. |

Who's brice wagner? A self appointed bitcoin "spokesman" who turned out to have been involved with some shady activities. I moved it because it's just an announcement/advertisement, not much discussion to be had. I wouldn't move a thread about coinconnect in general, which could be updated with things like this. This may be a better reason to just bump the old announcement thread, so at least people can read about it and the discussion around it, or make a new one if the old one isnt suitable for some reason.

Have you tried a different power supply? The OCZ ZT doesn't have a great rep, it would still be my first suspect even if it didn't though. I assume you run other stress tests like prime95, and checked the ram with memtest?
