3062  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying stocks with Bitcoin on: March 08, 2016, 02:38:05 PM
I'm looking to make some actual profit out of the $50 in Bitcoin I have. Is there someone I can give my bitcoins to, and have them buy and sell the stocks for me, and take a small cut for themselves?
increase your funds, and take your bitcoin to some broker on forex or stock exchange,i'm not sure you will get sastified answer. i suggest you to change your mind, and trade your bitcoin to other altcoin.

no,you will not get ban for buy bitcoins with paypal, they (paypal) dont have any rules to ban and punish someone who choose bitcoin and buy it from paypal, but i think its will take big fee,why dont buy bitcoins with cash??
3064  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India? Not for a LOOOOONG time. on: March 08, 2016, 12:28:02 PM
...

We are back from a long trip to India and Nepal.  If wanted I can share pics with those interested.

I see that "not much" that I can see has happened in "Bitcoinistan" since I left.

I will mention that NO ONE has heard of Bitcoin save ONE person in our tour group (18 of us total).

Bitcoin may be BIG in China, but not in India (certainly not Nepal, now under a fuel embargo by India -- complicated).

India IS progressing faster than I woulod have guessed, they have seen the light re infrastructure (and other things to advance, you know, things like economic freedom, etc.) and of course a relatively tranquil democracy.  But, BTC ain't ready for primetime there.  Pity.
i dont think so,you guys said as tourism who came to india, and you said bitcoin in india weak and not for long time, its not objective in my opinion,i will fully believe if indians people said this,it will be real fact.
3065  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: March 08, 2016, 12:12:05 PM
How safe is it?
long term?i dont think so,and i think if i got so many lose when bitcoin price down so low,its called not safe, because we all dont know what will happen when bitcoin halving, its like gambling with big amount, take a risk or leave it behind (dont buy anything).
3066  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: March 08, 2016, 11:55:55 AM
Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

the possibility always exist, but how much we sure about that, its about how much we trust our paper money,as long we still need papper money,we will never leave it.
Paper money will be banned entirely? no,i dont think this will happen.
How long do you think that happens? even this is happen, maybe on future, year of 2030 maybe.
would it work? no as i said before,so many poor people must keep their papper wallet.
What security and privacy risks would it raise? internet is not common thing in some country.
3067  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: March 08, 2016, 11:00:42 AM
What are the future projections for Bitcoin?
i believe the future of bitcoins is really bright,so many people talk about bitcoin,so many people use and hold bitcoin,as investement and payment, this year will decide how good is future of bitcoin, lets hope the best when bitcoin halving and increase block size come.
3068  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: March 08, 2016, 10:39:55 AM
I recently paid for some local tacos using Bitcoin. My friend who was unfamilar with Bitcoin thought it was strange, like I technically didn't pay for them or something. We got into discussing Bitcoin and one of the questions he asked me was:
"Why would you want Bitcoins instead of cash?". For a second I didn't know what to say; then I thought about it and here is what I came up with. Feel free to contribute to this.

1) More security (especially if you are careful).

2) Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not. Paper currency only really goes down in value, Bitcoins have a lot of potential to be worth more as time goes on.

3) Fast, worldwide transactions at your fingertips.

4) Similar to #3, but it's a universal currency. It's legal in most countries of the world and you don't need any kind of currency conversion to send money to people in a different country than your own.
"Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not" this is the point in my opinion, cash have not fluctuate price so deep, and bitcoin have it,and also nowdays people more aware with something on internet than aware with cash,we know cash more easy to rob or other badluck, but bitcoin worry less because it have no physical.
3069  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: March 08, 2016, 10:26:16 AM
Right now i trying to mining a lot of coins, i thinking its mabey its good to save the coins like 6-12 mdr before selling it.

Can orther explain about its a good point else about the risk its to high to lose to lot on it?
i'm not a miner,i dont have mining device, but if i were a miner i will make a schedule for mine some coins, mine it when prie is good, and then sell that coins soon, and dont mine coins when the price not good, because we dont know what will happen next time with altcoin.
3070  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: March 08, 2016, 09:51:36 AM
We all have some amount of bitcoins in our wallets..
Do you really think bitcoin is a currency Worthing you more than a real currency...
I do because real currency price won't grow up or down as bitcoin...
So do you or not ??
And also have a discussion about its prices in future..!!
yes of course, bicoin worth for me,as long bitcoin have good price, and as long goverment allow us to hold bitcoin for investement and currency.
i guess bitcoin price will raise maximum on $500 this year before bitcoin halving come, but if bitcoin halving come,i can't predict anything.
3071  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin always be dependent on fiat? Is it? on: March 08, 2016, 09:48:49 AM
As the title says, will it always be dependent on fiat currencies like €, $, ...? Because right now, you always convert before paying. So when you buy a TV, it costs 800$ so that means 1.8 BTC. And by that i dont see how can it become independant? It is just like gold, which cannot be used by itself.

So is my thinking true, or can the prices in the future be projected just through BTC; like you buy a TV and the price is 1.8 BTC. You buy bread, price 0.003 BTC .

I really dont know about these things so thats why i want to hear your knowledge on this.
it took a very long time for bitcoin to escape from fiat, probably about 10 years, and this can not be ascertained, because bitcoin is not certain to have a long future, lets  hope bitcoin will stay alive in more than 20 years.
3072  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: March 08, 2016, 09:31:06 AM

3073  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: March 08, 2016, 08:05:08 AM
women or man are same, they have some problem to accept and use bitcoin as payment or investement for them, esspesially for women, its little harder to motivate women to use bitcoin because almost 80% internet freelancer or money seeker in internet is men. maybe if you tell a women that bitcoin can used for online shopping, they will interesting.
3074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: March 08, 2016, 08:01:12 AM
I see more and more acrticles of bitcoin being used for illegal activities
will this hurt bitcoin in the long run , will governments ban this just like they started to do wih paying in cash for some services
to harden the use of illegal , and money laundering
its hurt for bitcoin, for us and for developer,we ll being harder to introducing bitcoin to general people, they will see bitcoin as illegal payment for illegal activity, but we can't deny it,so many people start using bitcoin for gambling, porn, terrorist, which it illegal in some country.
3075  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: March 08, 2016, 07:50:06 AM
the biggest mistake for me.
i havent had any major mistakes because i just started this bticoin thing. Um but a few mistakes i know is gambling 0.3 BTC in one go and losing it.i feel sorry for that guy.
same with me Grin but i dont lose that amount, just less than it. but i truly sad when i lose my bitcoin because gambling, yes its a mistake for me,i feel throw my bitcoin to recycle bin,and i never hope to lose it again, but sometime i do gambling again with small amount Cheesy
