I like to ask, I'm browsing at the official website of the PBA, but until now there's still no schedule.

Had they finalize the schedule already, or they are still waiting for the final approval of the IATF?
Please share your knowledge for anyone who knows the current status.
3062  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you want to quit trading ? on: August 28, 2021, 11:48:48 PM
Almost every career, discipline or profession has its own hazard, risk and disadvantage. I hear many people who feel like quiting or abandoning their kind of job because of the risk they go through.

Likewise trading is risky too. For you as a trader, have you considered abandoning trading because of the high risk of losing money in your trade?
If you are going to quit you cannot earn, I also experienced lossing on trading but I always charge it to experience, this isn't about the luck it's about how you work or fucos on it. It is normal that we incounter some mistakes and lose a huge amount of profit but how can we get our money back if we are going to quit on trading?.

Quitting trading won't get us any money back and it just keeps us out of trouble. We must have an unyielding attitude, whatever difficulties we face
when trading, we must be able to deal with them. Therefore, do not make decisions involving emotions, so it will only make us make the wrong
decisions. Experiencing losses in trading is normal and happens to everyone, so we have to be more focused and work hard to fix every mistake
we make. If we are patient through the process, we can get success soon.
Trading has always its risks so it would mean more skills and patience to get through it. But despite of how others are treating it in a negative way maybe because it sucks their funds, but it does not cross my mind quitting from it. Yes, its more profitable and sometimes really gives us huge profits but it takes a lot of knowledge and skills so you will succeed in trading.

And quitting should not be our last resort. Remember, if we want to succeed in trading, then we must improve ourselves and work hard for it so we will not come to point quitting just because it does not fit yourself.
3063  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to trigger central bank collapse on: August 28, 2021, 11:29:32 PM
Central banks will rather adopt blockchain and evolve. Bitcoin solely is not enough to solve global problems

Yes, it was right. Crypto or blockchains are already there and the people who adopts it are continously increasing each day so, in order to make the central banks to not collapse on the very far future, they need to adopt it and make some adjustment too.
If the government do not accept bitcoin, central banks will never collapse because it will always be needed.
Exactly. The central banks won't be triggered by crypto because its more established than crypto and people will still be needing it no matter what.

However, if the people themselves will stop from using it and chose bitcoin then maybe it might be fully triggered that will cause its collapse. But so far, central banks are still in huge demand so i don't think it will be threaten by crypto.
3064  Economy / Economics / Re: Cuba the next country to accept cryptocurrencies? on: August 28, 2021, 10:56:18 PM
We have already known the high interest of Latin American countries in Bitcoin. El Salvador took action to make Bitcoin legal tender and it seems like they are doing good for now. Latin American countries have been observing El Salvador about whether they did a good thing or not. One of these countries was going to take a step forward obviously. And it is Cuba as it seems. Maybe they are not thinking of making it legal tender for now but they are going to accept Bitcoin which is important news of course.

Actually, they didn't say only Bitcoin, they said they will regulate cryptocurrency that means not only for Bitcoin but also for all other coins will be regulated by them, I don't know how the US govt will take this news!
Now come to the point, it's really good that after El Salvador now Cuba is going to accept cryptos, though they claimed they will regulate cryptocurrency but the real fact is cryptocurrency is regulating them that's why they are forced to accept Bitcoin, and other cryptos as official legal tender. They could realise well that without crypto their future will be dark.

Cuba is starting to realize that since the government can't control its citizens from using crypto, so they are forced to regulate crypto and definitely accept it and maybe in the near future, they will also accept bitcoin as a legal tender. Well, the good thing is more and more countries have become open minded to crypto and this may lead into a real worlwide adoption once bitcoin will be totally regulated by the government. It's just a matter of time and we might wake up one day that bitcoin and some promising cryptos will already be accepted as payment in big companies.
3065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AND YET ANOTHER FALL; A dip or A dump. on: August 28, 2021, 08:56:24 PM
There is always a change in the market from high to low, but for now the price of bitcoin and altcoins is increasing again, and we don't know whether this will last long or not, so investing is the right choice for some coins that can indeed bring profits, so take advantage of this opportunity while it lasts because we never know what will happen in the crypto world in the future.
There's always an opportunity to buy anytime even if the crypto overall would really be bullish. We witnessed a bullish market where some coins had increased a significant amount in just a few days or weeks, but we also can't deny that we say it dump significantly , at the same time, so this is what I'm talking about, the market dump or the dip could give us the opportunity to buy and sell when the price recovers, simple as that.
It's always a good opportunity to start investing in times of dip or coins are definitely in dump. But the market is seen to bullish for now, and as expected price corrections will always occur everytime a coin or let's say bitcoin is heading its way on its new peak. But i don't think we should be worry for that. Price corrections are just temporary and after that, the coin will have more chances to even settle into new heights. So always be optimistic. The market is stable and there are no signs of dumping these days.
3066  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin = 100k by December on: August 28, 2021, 08:33:49 PM
Can Bitcoin Still Make 100k by December?  Huh
When Bitcoin (BTC) reached its all-time high of $65,000 in April, it felt like the $100,000 mark was the next stop for the cryptocurrency. However, the following months brought along a change in market trend and the entire cryptocurrency market took a steep dive.
We can speculate all we can and i have seen these speculation for a long time and hopefully we will cross the all time high valuation by the end of this year but not sure whether we will be able to reach $100k but with BTCitcoin anything is possible once the rally starts. All the institutional institutions might pump the market and i am sure they have booked their profit when the market reached its all time high valuation and entered again at support level.
Yes. The possibility for bitcoin to reach that price is definitely high but there's no guarantee that it will hit the certain amount this year. Bitcoin has stayed for long in the $45k-$50k resistance level and hopefully once it goes beyond, maybe its bound reaching its new ATH after.

Well, there's no problem if bitcoin will be unable to settle at $100k this year because as long as its demand continues to grow, then the price will not stop a reaching its new level of resistance.
3067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will its price start being stabilized? on: August 28, 2021, 08:11:53 PM
I don't think that it will ever stabilize as long as people are demanding Bitcoin. The more demand increases, the higher the price in the end. Let's say that demand is stabilized at some level, then FUDs will have an important role here. If we see new FUDs then, this time the price will start falling down and we will not ever see its being stabilized for a long time. In short, it is really hard to see the price being stabilized as the volatility is in its nature.
Bitcoin's price stability i think might be so unpredictable knowing the demand for bitcoin keeps on growing so eventually, its price will also keep increasing. I don't even think we can see stability in the near future because of its high volatility, the price will only have its bulls and bears.

With the recent ATH at $64k, bitcoin is set to reach another ATH maybe before this year ends but as long as bitcoin keeps moving upward, predicting as to what price will its last ATH will never be easy. So just enjoy the ride and keep on striking while the iron is hot.
3068  Economy / Economics / Re: The reason to hodl bitcoin on: August 27, 2021, 02:55:08 PM
the reason why i keep collecting bitcoins and i keep holding is for long term investment. When I am old I want to fully enjoy my old age with my family without being burdened with work responsibilities. I strongly believe the price of bitcoin will continue to increase just as it did in 2010 until now. the limited number of supplies and the increasing number of investors make me even more convinced that investing in bitcoin is the best investment right now.
Bitcoin has a bright future indeed. Although a lot of people has questioned its potentials from the start, but after a decade, it's still standing high. So the reason i'm still hodling bitcoin because i believe its value will grow more in the future so it will serve as a good retirement for us. Having bitcoin as an investment is definitely worth the risk.

For now, bitcoin is not just a sole investment but it's starting to realize its main goal as a currency. As the popularity continue to expand, then we will see bitcoin being a worlwide currency in the near future.
3069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Notice your emotion on: August 27, 2021, 02:19:03 PM
Its really a must to have plan when investing in crypto. The market is high volatile and the movement of our coins are unpredictable, it can turns up and down overnight, the reason why we should set aside our emotions when making a decision. Because if you do, you can commit a mistake of buying (because of excitement during bullish season) or selling (because of bearish season for having worries).

Thus, know what you're getting into, have concrete plan and strategy to follow in order to prevent committing mistakes based on your emotion on that particular situation.
Indeed. You need to have plans first before entering in cryptocurrency world. Proper knowledge and experiences also is very important in trading since through this, you will be able to learn a lot of things and earn huge profit. When you trade, you must also control your emotions because it will lead to some losses if you will panic especially when there is a pump of price. Stay calm and always believe in yourself. Always remember to manage your losses to avoid losing huge amount of your profit.
Trading demands more focus and good analysis so if you are bothered with your emotions, your trading might only fall into committing losses. As much as possible, before you enter into trading, prepare yourself and stay calm whenever the market suddenly crash along the way. It's a normal scenario but if you tend to panic and resort into selling your coins in a low price, that's the time that you will fall into a huge loss.

Yes, proper knowledge and various experiences might be a big help to make your trading successful but if you can't control your own emotions, it won't still make a positive outcome.
3070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the most bullish altcoin of the week? on: August 26, 2021, 10:41:00 PM
Yeah, it has been the most productive week for altcoins and the altcoin investors. And I think that the most profitable altcoins these days are:

- Ethereum
- BNB

In only one week, they had a really nice rise. BNB climbed from $390 to $500. And Ethereum reached $3.3k from $3.1k. And people can still make a good amount of profit in them unless the market dumps again.

these 2 top alts are worth holding because they have tangible use case and their development is in place. so even if you bought today, the chance of gaining profits is still there. i also won't compare it to new alts, as you have no idea where they are heading at. and if in particular, they haven't established their use case yet. there may be bullish new alts but up until when? and if you jumped on the wrong train, you are now screwed.
For me, i might give it all to ethereum because its definitely the most bullish altcoin this week. Although BNB has also made a significant pump but my focus is ethereum next to bitcoin. With its current price at $3,142, the continuous pump might push us predicting its new ATH at $5k.

And even if ethereum is already in its peak price, i think buying this time is still a smart move than just waiting for another dip without any hint when will it be. We will still make huge profits in the future because the potential of ethereum will not just end here but will definitely grow more in the coming years just like bitcoin.
3071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador rolls out 200 Bitcoin ATMs in a bid to speed-up nationwide adoption on: August 26, 2021, 10:02:36 PM
with the state of El Salvador which will make 200 bitcoin ATMs for adoption nationally.with this we really hope more for the long-term increase in bitcoin, and can again increase the popularity of bitcoin at the highest peak of investment, because at this time what is being done by the country of El Salvador is one of the most appropriate steps in the process of national adoption of bitcoin in the country
El Salvador is the only state who's brave enough to accept bitcoin as a legal tender and i think it will give credits to the President. With all the changes that is taking place, i think these things are all expected to speed up the adoption of bitcoin. And once El Salvador will come up successful with this crypto adoption, not just small countries nearby or even the big progressive countries will also be influenced with this.

I must admit that this news is definitely a break out. It's a nerve wrecking decision of the government that is totally different what others have seen it. With this, bitcoin will create a big impact to the economy of the state and  hopefully things will come out according to the plan.
3072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 26, 2021, 12:54:42 PM
Man, I didn't know Van Exel was on the sidelines in different teams until now.  Grin
Nick Van Exel returns to Atlanta Hawks as assistant coach
Good news for the Hawks.
He had been a player development instructor for quite some time with different players and teams and now he will be in the front to assist them and try to win a championship.
After a good run from the Hawks last season I thought they won't even change anything. But this is good, they are upgrading in the coaching side instead of trading players.

I don't know the track record of Van Exel but I know he is one of the great players in the NBA back in 90's IIRC.  Hawks had an unexpected run last season, they don't change their lineup, they just need to ensure that they are healthy next season especially their star player Trae Young.
3073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 23, 2021, 08:42:53 PM
Lack of stamina, he's already 42 in age and what do we expect even he's minds still has it but the body movements are no longer the same.
An aged, experienced, and well-trained Manny has still lots of stamina, it's just that he suffer leg cramps on his fight (at least according to him) and it's too painful to bare especially for boxing with 12 rounds, many speculate due to his age as its prone one or over training.
And I believe his statement is true because he is not a good moving target for Ugas, if Manny wants to prove something, he should willingly take the rematch as the champion is willing to give him another chance, but if he loses again, I guess there's no doubt that his career is over and he has to retire.

Ugas was underrated prior to the fight, but with the kind of fight and respect he showed to the legend, I'm sure he gain some fans after the fight.
3074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 23, 2021, 08:25:10 PM

I cant deny too that Casimero might be the toughest opponent for Inoue but lets see on how he would really perform inside the ring.

He really is and nobody can't deny and it's time for these two to meet in the ring and settle once and for all who is the best, Inoue looks great against weaker opponents but let's see if he can do all the moves against Casimero who is so good in counter punching and looking for an angle and loves to engage if they meet our bet is not on who will get a  decision but on who will get a knockout.

Casimero already recognized the power of Inoue but he is a power puncher too according to him and the reason why he wants to choose to fight Inoue is that they both will execute power punches in the middle of the ring where they clash until one of them will fall. Casimero knows that he can be knock out by Inoue but still he wants to fight him so that the fans will enjoy watching the old boxing-like was. They really need to approve whatever the contract offers because money won't really matter anymore since both fighters want to clash in the ring as soon as possible.

He wants to challenge Inoue and prove that he's stronger and much better power puncher. Normal to every fighter, if they will just admit it. Inside them, they all believe that they are better than their opponents.

Casimero is very hunger for fame he believes that he's more valuable than what he's getting right now.

Seeking for more attentions and trash talking those other fighters who he believes fans think that better than him, he's trash-talking Inoue to have his chance for the fight of a lifetime.

He is because it's normal for a fighter to look for a bigger fight so he will be popular and the money will come. The main purpose why they are boxing is for fame and money, and if Casimero will not have a good fight, he might just retire soon unsatisfied.

Casimero is 31 years olds, there could be at least 5 years for him to enjoy his prime, so he wants to fight the best.

While Inoue is 28 years old which is still young but has already enjoyed the fame.
3075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 23, 2021, 07:22:51 PM
The problem with this division is that there are no US names, maybe except Donaire who have been campaigning for many years in this division, but I do think that Inoue and Casimero is not yet a household name, they are just starting to build one in the US soil. So both of there promoters, specially Inoue, should  established their names first, create more hype so that US fans will buy their tickets and make more money for Bob, just like what he did to the career of Manny Pacquiao.
The problem with this is that there is no reputation builder that is stronger than to beat the best when it matters, Manny eventually became a household name not because his promoters and marketing tactics were excellent but because he was a legendary fighter, if anyone wants to reach that status then the way to do so is not by avoiding good fighter in order to increase hype but by training harder and increase their abilities as boxers even further.
if Inoue would not fight our Filipino boxer Casimero, then he better move up in weight so he could find a great match. I don't think there's a problem with the money they can potentially make in this fight, besides, Inoue is just starting to build his name in the US, so fighting the toughest challenger per paper is definitely the most interesting thing to do for him now.

For now, we will enjoy every game inside our house no live audience until this season end.
No problem with me, but it's better if we have a chance to watch the game live.

The strategy of the government in handling the pandemic is not so effective, now with the threat of new variants, I think our hope to see the game with live audiences will be delayed again. Some areas are already in lockdown, this measure is the last resort if the government can't handle the situation and we know its effect to our economy especially those employees who are just relying on their job to feed their families.

For me, I would be okay with just watching the games live on my TV.

In protecting myself and my love ones, I'll be okay watching the games on TV,

The same way how you seen the government fight this virus, it's not that effective to really lessen the spread, plus how those people
who continue not to believe that this virus is real, as there are still people who link this virus to politics or other agendas,

There are still people who doesn't want being vaccinated, while in some areas vaccines are still not available.

Corruption at its best, that's how corrupt our government is, they make money out of this pandemic and that is by declaring a simple fever into covid-19 so they can claim money from the government. Some are even afraid to get vaccinated as there's news that some died not because of the virus but due to the vaccine, there's this one family that they all died after they go vaccinated with Jansen, so it could be attributed to the vaccine as according to their relatives, this family are healthy.

Along the way, we will start seeing this league to start and we will enjoy watching our favorite players and
favorite team to entertain us while we are still suffering from this virus.

They'll be back soon, and we will start recovering our losses on Pacquiao vs Ugas fight. lol
3077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 23, 2021, 04:29:02 PM
Casimero is slowly stealing the popularity of Donaire, he is making his name popular in the US due to his trash talk, and because of that, I'm sure the promoter would consider him getting big fights as they could sell the fight and make a profit. Casimero vs Inoue or Donaire vs Inoue is a good fight, both will be profitable, but it's Casimero now who is the hottest boxer since he has the recent win although in a boring match.
I know the trash talking is part of their strategy to attract many people and of course to sell more tickets on their next matches. I agree that those three boxers are great so what ever matches they agreed to, i’ll place my bet and watch the match. Hopefully, they can settle this one before the yearn end they still have time though.
We will have to wait for Inoue's decision, he stated in his social media accounts that he wants this fight to be arranged but it could only be a talk without legality if there's no contract being signed, and Casimero will not stop trash talking if Inoue will not act on that.

As of now, Inoue is still new with the Top Rank promotion, so he will just be following what the organization is giving him, therefore his voice might not be final as he would have to wait for the approval of his big boss which is Bob Arum.

Arum always wants money, we already knew that.
And with how fans react with how Casimero throwing trash to Inoue and the response coming from Inoue is really interesting to watch out.

Let's see if this fight comes to reality and whoever we support it will only happen once the final date already been established.

All the paper signing is always important to make sure that the fight will proceed..

What more he wants in this fight? For sure it will generate a lot of money for him as Inoue and Casimero are the best in their division, and a unification fight or the fight between champions is always fun to watch. If he thinks about the future of Inoue that's why he is still doubtful if he could give this fight a go, then I think he knows that Inoue could lose against Casimero.
3078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 23, 2021, 04:10:20 PM
Nobody gave Ugas a chance against Pacquiao and he won the fight with ease. Plant deserves the benefit of the doubt. I doubt he will win but he isn't so far out of his league that he can't pull off an upset if Canelo has an off night or if he makes adjustments in his style that Canelo isn't prepared for.

We can't compare the Manny upset though, Pacquiao train for a different fighter and he is no longer in his prime. Bu here, Canelo is just at the peak of his career, no distractions whatsoever, unlike Manny who thinks of his political career.

So I think it will have a lot of factors that will make Canelo loss this fight against Plant, in my opinion.

We just don't know the outcome of the fight, so both fighters should have a chance to win, in this case, it's pretty obvious that Canelo has a higher chance of winning as he has been winning his fights lately in a convincing manner, but since he is still human, he can also make a mistake that would cause him a fight, in short, upset could happen anytime.
3079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 23, 2021, 12:02:27 PM
I think a lot of betting exchanges are getting quite a lot of profit after  Pacquiao lose in the match, because before the fight started, many people (including me) were betting for the win of Pacquiao Grin.
Even though Pacquiao lost that fight, but for me he is still a great boxer and knows no fear of his opponent, even though it is clear the opponent he is facing is younger and has more stamina than Pacquiao, with this defeat it looks like Pacquiao will soon end his career in boxing with record 62 wins (39 KOs), 8 losses and 2 draw.

IMO, betting exchanges or betting sites makes a profit regardless of the result as there are bettors who bet on both sides and sportsbook only make money from the commission they'll get. Ugas is a huge underdog of the fight, but there are also bettors who risk money on the underdog, and they are the ones who enjoyed winning, for sportsbooks, profit is just a daily norm for them.
3080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An interesting example of a SCAM. Signal groups. Carefully! on: August 22, 2021, 11:47:01 PM
Its being said that the easiest scams yo carry out is the ones that prey on people's greed and these cryptocurrency pump and dump groups is not different. People really need to realize that the cryptocurrency is so large that its almost impossible for a group of random people that meet online to effectively pump the price of a token or coin. What lost likely happens is that bots are used to simulate price pumps and then the people that fall for the scam will effectively be providing liquidity for the scammers and their worthless coins

I hope by now people are familiar with this scamming technique. I understand that there are still newcomers that are getting screwed by these groups. But for long timers here, hope they know better about this scheme. These scammers repeat again and again their technique because there are naive users that are really jumping on their too-good-to-be-true offers. If no one will patronize them, they will stop this scope. Unfortunately, people's greed is always there so yeah, they can always catch a fish here.
For the legends here, i think this scheme will not work. But for newbies who keep coming in the market, they might be easily lured by its big offer. So its always advisable to make a consistent research so we can be more updated with the latest trend of scammers especially newbies because they are mostly the target.

Anyways, thank you OP for the information. This will really help a lot of investors in this community. Hopefully we can be more vigilant when it comes to money matters particularly that we are still in pandemic right now.
