We don't need to wait for a long period of time before we can see the game in the arena, eventually, the crowd will be allowed in the game just like the NBA. What the Philippine government has to do now is to fast track the vaccination so we can proceed forward, if other countries can bring back the old normal in sports, why can't we?
So easy if the both the government and all the people around this country will cooperate, but the vaccines that our country have now is not enough. It's really tough for everyone as the virus is moving faster than how the government percepts. We all wanted to have a normal life and enjoy everything that we use to have before this virus triggered the world. For now, we will enjoy every game inside our house no live audience until this season end.

We can afford to buy the vaccines that are needed, the problem is the people who run the department are corrupt, particularly the DOH secretary which has a lot of red flags based on the COA report. I don't understand why he still has not resigned from his position, maybe he needs to be fired soon so people be confident again that we will be able to survive in this pandemic. For now, we will enjoy every game inside our house no live audience until this season end. No problem with me, but it's better if we have a chance to watch the game live.

The strategy of the government in handling the pandemic is not so effective, now with the threat of new variants, I think our hope to see the game with live audiences will be delayed again. Some areas are already in lockdown, this measure is the last resort if the government can't handle the situation and we know its effect to our economy especially those employees who are just relying on their job to feed their families. For me, I would be okay with just watching the games live on my TV.

it's hard to adjust on their end and it's losing them a lot of money just like last year.
Yes, and it will have a bad effect on the league in the long run if delays will continue because of the pandemic. Take note that even before the pandemic, the league's revenue isn't that much (although in 2019 iirc, the league noticed an increase) and the number of audience on the venue just increasing in numbers if Brgy. Ginebra or any other SMC teams will reach the Semis to Finals. They can only achieve at least 17,000 audiences during only in Finals that's why there's always a rumor of "bigayan" to extend games to the maximum for more revenue. I hope PBA can still manage the cost by 5 seasons or more, or maybe much better, I hope the pandemic will now end. Yeah, those times whenever the finals is with Brgy. Ginebra, the fans were always there and the coliseum is always full and tickets were sold out. But right now, I think they have another scheme or plan to prolong some games so that ad revenue will still be there and it is needed because they've been losing instead and they have to do everything so that they'll recover as well. They've got a lot of players and venue is another thing for the sustain and expense that they have to add for their budgeting and adjustment. I just hope that everything goes well. We don't need to wait for a long period of time before we can see the game in the arena, eventually, the crowd will be allowed in the game just like the NBA. What the Philippine government has to do now is to fast track the vaccination so we can proceed forward, if other countries can bring back the old normal in sports, why can't we? We're different from those other countries that seem to be back with their sports and having audience. They've got most of the vaccine supplies and they're not lacking of it. While our country, we do purchased the vaccines but they're all limited and most of the news that have been covering it and there are more with the donations. It's reported that I think, IIRC, 70% of the vaccines were already purchased by the richest countries and the remaining are just what we're taking. Those donations that we're receiving are just a few excess of their supplies.

Correct! he needs to prove himself that he deserved that high fees or else he won't get another contract, everything is at stake now for him, if he failed he will end up playing local leagues that lower contract. But if he brings his skills knowing what he is capable of, there are lots of opportunities that opened up for him. First try to we will see what he can add to his team and what impact that they will get after acquiring him and paying him the contract he wanted to earn.

I think if he goes back to the Philippines his career will not be as good as when he was with the PBA as PBA might not accept him anymore unlike Kiefer Ravena that who received nice words from the office of the commissioner and assure he can still play with the PBA if he comes back. Bobby Ray Park's Jr.'s journey to B League is not smooth as he has to go AWOL in the PBA to create controversy.

Well, there's a chance but Ray Parks is a talented player with a built that could compete internationally, so let's hope he will be successful on the league that he is playing now, he might have a demanding attitude, but that's him, he knows his value and it's alright to demand, besides, both are benefited in a contract and he just have to give his best show he can help the team so he will have a continues contract.

In protecting myself and my love ones, I'll be okay watching the games on TV, The same way how you seen the government fight this virus, it's not that effective to really lessen the spread, plus how those people who continue not to believe that this virus is real, as there are still people who link this virus to politics or other agendas, There are still people who doesn't want being vaccinated, while in some areas vaccines are still not available. Along the way, we will start seeing this league to start and we will enjoy watching our favorite players and favorite team to entertain us while we are still suffering from this virus.

Corruption at its best, that's how corrupt our government is, they make money out of this pandemic and that is by declaring a simple fever into covid-19 so they can claim money from the government. Some are even afraid to get vaccinated as there's news that some died not because of the virus but due to the vaccine, there's this one family that they all died after they go vaccinated with Jansen, so it could be attributed to the vaccine as according to their relatives, this family are healthy. Along the way, we will start seeing this league to start and we will enjoy watching our favorite players and favorite team to entertain us while we are still suffering from this virus. They'll be back soon, and we will start recovering our losses on Pacquiao vs Ugas fight. lol

Since the Pampanga LGU has already approved the PBA's request to hold games in their place, here is an update on the scheduling once they resume playing. Playing almost every day like in the last bubble, who do you think does have the advantage in this scenario guys? SMB Beermen I think would be at the disadvantage as most of their players are in the late 30's and playing back to back could have a negative impact on their game. PBA plans five playdates a week in Pampanga season resumption

They are in the same situation before so I think at least SMB can handle it. Even in the late 30s they still have the most dominant lineup in the league. Experience wise maybe their advantage. If they will be exhausted on some back-to-back games, other teams too so they still have the advantage. Practice is really necessary at these teams and with a lack of practice, their stamina is not at 100%.

Remove the word "likely" because he will really play in the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins. A very strong team who ended 4th in their division. I'm also thinking that he intentionally dropped playing in the PBA because he wants to join into another league like the B-League. More and more Filipino players are going to B-League already and this is kinda alarming especially for the PBA itself. After the season, we might see another players going there again or those young players might try and play in Japan. Well as for Ray Parks, I think that he will play good there.

Probably the reason for that is that PBA must not be that profitable to get in compared to B League. It's alarming but I feel like the popularity of PBA slumped this year. BRP Jr. Is definitely going to improve their as you've said, Nagoya is a strong team and hopefully he can learn more during his stay there.

Money is the big factor why PBA stars are accepting contracts from outside league. Just imagine how many folds the contract compared to how much money they can get playing in this league. Those names that being dragged before Ravena and Parks, I remember Romeo and Abueva, they both receive a huge amount of contract offers before with B-league scouts, Ravena Bro and Parks need to impress the Japanese teams if they wanted to continue their journey to Japan B-League, they are all good players and giving them quality time it won't be hard for them to represent our county and give the glory to where they first played this game.

They have their agent who knows for sure what to do to continue to contract, and they believe that the Filipino talent will last in the B league. Thirdy Ravena is still playing with the B league now, and I guess he already played are year or more and his salary is higher compared to what the PBA is paying. So this is what's gonna happen.. even if a PBA player will play 3 years in the PBA, I think the income they will get if they play in the B league for 1 year is still bigger, I'm not sure with this, it's only based on what I read.

That's what I read also, Thirdy Ravena is receiving a salary like the salary of June Mar Fajardo, imagine, for a rookie to receive like the salary of the PBA superstar in the Philippines, of course, anyone would be attracted with that and they will choose the B League to be their home because of a good opportunity that they offer to the Filipino imports.

As long as the player should also be good. Anyone likes to play outside the country with that salary but only a few are offered that contract. PBA players can't just say they want to play if the scouts from the Japan B league or any other leagues are not interested in them.
