3081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 30, 2022, 02:38:44 PM
I can perceive a serious plan by West Ham United against next season as they make their bids for a new player, well if succeeded acquiring Danjuma then it will be a plus bonus for them, every nice dish has its expensive cost for it, West Ham gives a nice performance which turn a surprise this season for us as they proof all they've got for the challenge, am more optimistic about seing a team like this with a desire to move up the ladder.
3082  Other / Politics & Society / Re: USA Bans the right to abortion on: June 30, 2022, 02:21:22 PM
What is not good isn't good and should be discouraged by all means, abortion is not a good thing that should be allowed in the society, either US places ban or not it's what we should all voice out for it ban, the only justification for abortion to take place is in the case of rape and parental abuse with full evidence and it's approvals by the constituted authority, but an ordinary sex worker (whore), or flirting adulescent that got pregnant by chance of a mistake should not be allowed to carry out an abortion because that's the consequence of their flirting around else every lady will also want to do such thereby encouraging fornication in the society.
3083  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Don't take fame for granted on: June 30, 2022, 01:12:56 PM
A legendary US singer knonw as R Kelly has been jailed 30 year imprisonment for sex crime, this act has been his lifestyle for sometime in his music career.  The moral lesson from this story fame should not be taking for granted,  the slightest mistake can bring one low to square one in life, by then it will be too late for money and fame to come out and help.

This is babaric and uncalled for, i saw the news headline as well and felt bad within me that it couldn't have been him, this is not about his music career or numbers of touching albums released, some of these celebrities had an irritating moral conducts that is hunting down thier career gradually without them knowing, let's take the instance of Chrisbrown as well, I can't count on the number of times he had been involved on street and domestic violence, and many other social misconducts not to talk of several terms of being a convicts, yet you will discover some fans wanted to be like them or take them as role models, personal upbringings matters alot, while most celebrities leaves a fake life, I'd rather be myself and build up a good societal potential that will please myself and the people at large.
3084  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Taking Loans - Is it ideal? on: June 29, 2022, 06:06:06 PM

1. How much money you can afford to take the risk?
2. Is the profit enough to repay the loan, is there any guarantee?
3. Can you still repay the loan even if the market continues to drop?
4. Is your collateral enough to cover your loans?
5. Are you confident about your investment decision?

All these listed by OP are essentially important to put into consideration before applying for a loan, I'd thought about some reasons behind taking a loan as unnecessary and unsolicited, why take a loan in the first place, the best reason why a loan must be taken is for business expansion, in which it is aim at a particular target to be met, but the other reason that is not genuine at all that warrant for taking a loan makes the debtors suffers a payback of the loan.
3085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The unpredicted rise of BTC in 2022-2023 despite predicted bear market on: June 29, 2022, 05:38:15 PM
The question is simple: What do you think about the possibility that BTC will grow in 2022-2023 despite bear market predictions

There's high tendencies that before 2024 or exactly after the next halving of the said year there is more likely possibility for a rise in bitcoin price, but as for this present time till next year 2023 i have doubt in the rising within this season, there may be only slight move that may not be an observable one, maybe around $20k to $40k at max between now and next year, but this does not create any reason to fear about bitcoin because it's value as currency remains intact, it's just a rise and fall in price speculation.
3086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Most Expensive Thing Bought with Winnings from the Casino or Sport Bet on: June 28, 2022, 08:58:55 PM
What is the most expensive thing you've bought with your winnings from a casino or sports bet that you've never used or used only a few times or even maybe regretted buying?

I was able to secure a new laptop and mobile phone with some of my accrued winnings funds over time, i save up for some time and eventually use them money for the purchase of items i know will benefity career, I don't think I've ever involved in any fund mismanagement practice from my winnings, other things i use them  for is by giving to others, i tried to make people around me feel happy, so i spend any little earnings together with people around me.
3087  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible that all cryptocurrency will become regulated? on: June 28, 2022, 08:26:12 PM
Do you also think that all retirees savings are prohibited to invest in the cryptocurrency?

with honest saying this would have been the best advise and a well recommendable option for all retirees to use, pension funds and gratitude can be used as an investment for the over aged ones instead of having thier funds with fiat banks without any significant yield or benefit over years, the only challenges here is that the adults may find it difficult to operate or make use of crypto operations.

I also like to ask everyone of you here, where if you are in favor that all cryptocurrency
must be regulated under byt the government?

that's just a mere assumption which is not possible, government cannot control a single crypto not to talk about all, their regulatory aspect is in demand for tax payment, bitcoin on its own is a decentralized digital currency, so how is that possible for government to use a centralized authority on it.
3088  Economy / Economics / Re: Irrelevance of Education in Nigeria. on: June 28, 2022, 07:57:37 PM
The adage (school na scam)by most Nigerian is becoming realistic.for a country to grow and develop,it most invest in is human capital.presently.universities, polytechnics and colleges are on strike.the educational system of the country is very poor.

if i were you, I'd rather take it a challenge on myself to be a change agent and make things right, you don't have to criticize your country because no perfect place or country in the world, we all create a room to make the best out of the imperfection of our country, what seems to be the worse scenario in your country may be the least of what others are facing, ask yourself if you were there, aren't you going to do more worse and havoc than those in place now.

Another problem is high unemployment rate: most graduate that are are qualified and ready to work, are not employed which is decrease the rate at which people go to school.

who told you that it's only those that went to school really make it in life? why dependent on the government, what are your two bare hands doing? find something creative, lucrative and solve a problem by creating a value that will cause a patronage on you and you become a solution that everyone will sought after than sitting down been idle and waiting for the government to feed you, wake up and source for yourself an alternative and stop complaining.

3089  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Brand Name Vs Site Functionality? Or Both? on: June 27, 2022, 09:06:03 PM
Gambling brand is what gets the attention of most people since if the brand name is unique and easy to understand, gambling functionality is also a point to reckon with but then we need to know that brand name is what attracts the players.

Some brand has already made their name through and has gained the interest of the people just by tue mention of their name, do you ever thought about it that what could have been the reasons behind such? It's because they have paid the sacrifice needed in the past through thick and thin challenges of competitors, government regulations, poor sale, poor market demand and sales and the likes all constituted to the success story behind the reputable brand name many companies or organizations has today.
3090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Master Thesis on: June 27, 2022, 08:57:00 PM
My idea is to do something Cryptocurrency related, either with Bitcoin or even Decentralized Finance (DeFi), however, I haven't decided yet, any ideas on which subject to cover?

Since you do much of data analysis then it will do good if you can get specific data about bitcoin within your country and compare them with other countries or have a comparison from the data collected to that of the reputable crypto platforms like coinbase or coingecko, methods which you can use in your data collection could be in data sampling or through questionaire, but has be coincise amd accurate, and lastly, i will like to know if bitcoin or cryptocurrency is applicable and related to your former degree program so as not to create a waste of effort.
3091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the dip and Invest in Bitcoin for long term on: June 27, 2022, 08:28:05 PM
Take Bitcoin as a long term investment and just forget it like it’s in a long-term investment account

Except if its unavoidable i don't think this is the best time to sell, and yes one must hold till this phase is passed, bit those on short term investment like trading can stillake good benefits out here by within a day or week, many investors go into buying more this time to sell off whenever there is rise in the price which obviously may take a while before such could happen, which is one of the reasons why we insisting in letting people know that bitcoin isn't a get rich quick like online ponzi.
3092  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Special reasons for bitcoin purchase on: June 26, 2022, 10:19:30 PM
The reasons why so many persons invest in bitcoin is the depreciation, centralization and the appreciative aspect  in bitcoin.

I believe this is not what you really meant, maybe the opposite because what entice people about bitcoin is the appreciative value and decentralization nature it's built with, everyone want to go private and secured, no Involvement of third party ir indescriminate charges deductions from users account, control and freedom over financial asset is what the people and this helps in giving bitcoin priority over the fiat currency in preference.
3093  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: June 26, 2022, 10:08:32 PM
The first attitude is very suitable to be applied and very many traders experience tremendous panic when they see the market price drop, especially Bitcoin

Actually no investor will invested to hear that the market is going dip, on a general view there maybe panic at first place but what gives the confidence in going on is in knowing on what was the investment made, that's why it is very necessary to understand how to invest and on what to invest, so many people fall a victim and end up a looser just because of a wrong investment, another considering factor is on when to invest, hold and sell, if one invested on bitcoin which is apparently the best option for am investment then it must be well understood on when and how to sell or hold in other to make profit and not loss.
3094  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will Investing Help the Economy of a Country on: June 26, 2022, 09:52:06 PM
Investing in Crypto is a yardstick of measurement and has created an opportunity that's reliable and trusted..
But I really can't tell how thus Investing in The Economy will help one's Country.
You've already gave the answer all by yourself, how investing in the economy can help a country is a solution from the statement you first made that investing in cryptocurrency has opportunities which i believe this has help many circumstances in the economy therein, there's a need for a country to remain independent on other countries for economy survival, they have to derive a means to an alternative tuat could help boost and stabilize their system, this makes the adoption in bitcoin comes with unique difference on role played against inflation and economy uncertainties.
3095  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculators : Bitcoins is up now 21k buy buy buy ! but... on: June 26, 2022, 09:38:47 PM
Speculators : "Bitcoins is up now 21k buy buy buy ! yeah 100k coming soon  "....but it was 47k this March and 61k in 2021 ... so how the ..f..uck is bitcoin a winner ?

The only guys that won are speculators/traders that pumped and dumped and miners, the rest got wiped out ...

It starting to feel that "Bitcoin game" is a scam ...a big ponzi ...

I wonder why you're still on this baseless talk, that bitcoin is a ponzi? or that it was once high and now low renders it what you called it to be? I think you need to understand that bitcoin is volatile and considering previous years price speculations one will deduce that lots of factors makes it hapoen part of which is the demand and supply, now that we are within the range of $21k mean nothing than the tendencies to begin to rise back to the ATH to break record above $70k anytime sooner or later, yet someone like you will still come out to call bitcoin which is a digital currency and generally acceptable a ponzi scheme, think twice to know what bitcoin is and it's difference from altcoins.

3097  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: June 25, 2022, 08:23:16 AM
KYC verification request at the time of a big win is made with the hope that the user has provided false data and the big win will not have to be paid out.

Some casinos will clearly stated it that they require KYC in their policy and privacy while some once you hot registered they will bump you a continuous alert pop up on the screen that " in other to be able to perform higher transaction and increase your withdrawal limit, complete the verification process" then one will have to go through thelat process which is the KYC requirements, therefore in cases like this there should not be any unrest after making a win because it shouldn't have been a new thing to the gambler, while those information provided should not be altered and can be used for reference purpose in other subsequent user's request for wager or withdrawal as the case maybe.
3098  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do I have to do on: June 25, 2022, 05:27:57 AM
newbie often run into losses when investing in new projects.  ,i once bought new coins but i can't resell them. i think i have been cheated

I will like to advise little on the expected steps from you in your cryptocurrency journey, what males you think investing on new project is the best option for you? what have you research about thise new projects tht warrant you to have a deal in them, the truth is most of them are forms of scam, they fail and fold up along the way, sometimes those behind them pump money into it just to rate it high and hyoe the numbers of investors just to suddenly withdrew their funds and renders it vulnerable, go for bitcoin as the only digital currency worth having your investment with.
3099  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difference Between Bitcoin and Crypto currency on: June 25, 2022, 05:05:28 AM
Going through a lot of thread here,Am convinced that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency serves as a means of Exchange for trading.
Am still trying to understand the clear difference between the both and know how to place them in their separate parts..
I'll like to know more and be corrected where am wrong.

Let's begin a start with this that bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and is the only recommended crypto that has high priority in value and generally used for exchange, other cryptocurrencies are referred to as altcoins of which most of them are termed shitcoins because they don't have good reputation to maintain a standard monetary value, some are use for scam while others are unrealistic project of testnet and yhe risk in going for other cryptocurrencies is high than that in bitcoin, and that's one of the reasons if a newbie must start in cryptocurrencies then bitcoin is the perfect example of starting with.
3100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Less FOMO more Buying on: June 24, 2022, 09:15:54 PM
in this season you will hear more of these two words 1 FOMO 2 Buy the dip, but as far as I know is better to do less FOMO

I want to believe that most of the experienced users wouldn't hesitate on making an investment on bitcoin when it's going dip, we are now around $20k and no fear of missing out even as bought above that range before now, newbie that most starts their crypto journey recently do fall a victim to investing on wrong cryptocurrencies, there start should always be with bitcoin which jas the reputable value for general acceptance.
