Is this the introduction NFT for forum members is for the real or it is a April fool joke ?

Real.

If it was real, i would have withdrawn 100 BTC without even buying any NFT  Cheesy

Why buy the NFTs When we can only be rich with bitcoins  Wink
3082  Other / Meta / Re: April Fool's is Coming... on: April 01, 2021, 08:54:25 AM
Ah well, time to see what I have for NFTs Grin

I have just been online now and saw this NFT prank going on .  Cheesy

I have got 100 BTC
Quote
You have 1000 BTC. Aren't you lucky!
  I wish i was indeed lucky. It will take a while until i figure out how all this will work. This year April fool plan is not very simple as it used to be.

Is this the introduction NFT for forum members is for the real or it is a April fool joke ?
I wish it is in real but since this announcement was made today on the 1st April, i have some doubts about it  Huh
3084  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What is safest: Binance/exchanges or online software wallets? on: March 29, 2021, 05:43:50 PM
Yes, I know hardware wallets are the safest options, "not your keys not your coins" etc...
But if I'll leave some coins in a "software", what is the safest option? Leave it in an exchange like Binance or trust a hot wallet like Samourai?
The reason I'm skeptical about about other software wallets like Exodus/Samourai etc is because I'll have to trust that their software wont be hacked, nor my mobile phone. While in Binance/other exchanges, they have a whole team dedicated to that.
Why is it harder to hack/attack a software/hot wallet than it is to hack Binance/exchanges?

Keeping your funds in exchange is never ever safe. Even though binance have a good history and also they have SAFU funds to cover the loses in case of a hack but still you never know that some day any big hack may happen which binance is unable to recover  the loss. So if you are not trading that there is no point keeping the funds in binance.
3085  Economy / Economics / Re: 2021 not Looking good on: March 28, 2021, 11:45:08 AM
2021 not Looking good!

Only things what could be good are Bitcoin and cryptocurrency
Other things dont look good!

The economy will go lowest i Think.

That's not the case because in 2020 there was so much lockdown and financial crisis all over the world. Now that the world is moving back to normal to some extent, the stocks, forex and crypto market is recovering. However the best returns will be in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
3086  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: March 28, 2021, 05:03:41 AM
Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? and Why?

I would be happy for the following reason:

I make a trade, for example I have $500, when the bitcoin price is $50,000, the ETH price is $1700, and trading with little capital that my case makes me have little profit

if ETH goes up from $1500 to $1590 I would earn something like $30

but if the bitcoin price drops to $10,000 and the ETH price drops to $400, in that case I get more than 1 ETH and I will have more profit with little capital, because if the ETH price goes up to $800 or be back to $1700 i will make a lot of profit, it would be 3X profit easy

It will only be good for people who want to make new entry in the crypto market. For those who already bought bitcoin at high prices, they will never want bitcoin to dump to 10,000K. Realistic speaking, i think it is impossible now for bitcoin to reach as low prices as 10000$.
3087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Exchanges Bitcoin Reserves on: March 28, 2021, 04:18:21 AM
What are your thoughts on the Bitcoin reserves of exchanges? Can this guarantee an indicator for Bitcoin price action?

No indicator can grantee the bitcoin price action but these indicators helps in determine only the probability of the price actions. It you see outflow of bitcoin from the exchanges which leads to conclusion that people are buying bitcoin and keeping them in their private wallets for long term gains. This will decrease the supply in exchanges and hence make the price rise parabolically.
3088  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like India is perhaps serious about banning cryptocurrency on: March 28, 2021, 04:07:21 AM
India is like other government that has their own rules and know how to handle their economy , the sad part here is that most of those who posts don't even come from india but acting as if they are affected of the issue  Grin

I am an Indian resident and many of the users who have commented here also come from India. We are worried since our livelihood is under threat. Almost one-third of my monthly income comes in the form of cryptocurrency and if that is taken away then I will be in a very bad financial state. And there are millions like me in India who earn passive income in the form of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. For us, this is no laughing matter. It is a matter of life and death.

I am not from India but i heard that they were supposed to bring the crypto currency bill in the Indian parliament budget but they did not do so. This means that this matter is delayed for next few months. Is it so ?  If this is true then it is good for the Indians citizens and also for the bitcoin community.
3089  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop comparing BITCOIN on 2017 & 2021. It will never be same again on: March 27, 2021, 07:31:48 PM
We all know when bitcoin on 2017 it pumped like crazy. It went almost $20k and then it falling to $3.3k as lowest price just in few months. What was the reason bitcoin went up to $20,000 back then on 2017? It was only HYPE, there was only a speculation Bitcoin ETF would be accepted, then it declined.

But now? Bitcoin is not HYPE anymore. Even Elon musk, 2nd richest in the world with one of his company, Tesla, accepting Bitcoin as one of payment recently. We also heard many ETFs already got approved and accepted, even few huge banks accepting Bitcoin and they allow their customer invested on them (Morgan Stanley & Fed).

History might be repeat, but surely it's won't be same as 2017 anymore. We won't see bitcoin at $5,000 , $10,000 or even $20,000 anymore from this year to the future

So indirectly you are saying that this time is different and we will never see lower prices of bitcoin ever again ? I doubt it.
It's confirm that bitcoin won't go below 20,000$ because as per history bitcoin never goes below the last market cycle all time high. But still bitcoin can reach 250,000$ and then retrace back to 40,000$ in multi year bear market.

3090  Other / Meta / Re: April Fool's is Coming... on: March 27, 2021, 07:14:44 PM
How about selling Satoshi’s posts as NFTs?

Why do you need an april fool day for this act ?
When Elon musk tweets are being sold as NFTs why not satoshi & theymos posts could be sold as NFTs also in real ?

3092  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fauci says the vaccine will only be about 50% effective. on: March 27, 2021, 06:48:50 PM
trump is no expert. so looking for an adviser that jsut kisses pesidents ass rather than telling him the facts is not a good idea

atlas has been kissing many poliitcians ass for years and is more motivated by politics than by biology/fact

i cant see this going well as it will just turn into an echo chamber of whatever delusions trump comes up with just being repeated by atlas

other experts dont fear correcting idiots and thats whats best.
just hearing idiots and then hearing what idiots say get repeated by others. is never good

It's reached the point where Fauci has low credibility. Very low credibility.

Its astonishing to see how many people / so called experts are losing their creditability and are exposed in public when they give their stance about the covid19 and its vaccine.
Almost all of the people don't care about the people health, they only care how much money they could make with pandemic.  Sad
3093  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: March 27, 2021, 11:57:11 AM
With this corona virus outbreak really affect the people globally, economy, industrial, tourist and everything in this health is at stake, you've got to have a strong immune system other you will easily affected too. All over the world government of diff. country didn't what to do, it's so sudden and sadden everyone we don't know when would this end be?only God knows.

Keep aside this covid 19 is self made or natural, the world is under the attack by third wave of Covid-19. I wonder how many covid-19 waves we have to see before all this pandemic ends.
Even after the vaccine, there is no stoppage of spread of this virus and experts says it will get worse with time.
3094  Economy / Economics / Re: Flexible Work Schedule on: March 27, 2021, 10:58:33 AM
Flexible work schedule in my opinion doesn't solve the fact that people should be working less amount of time for the same wages because there are machines and flexibility should come from having more workers that are working less time for example but considering that this will not make people become a slave to their work, nobody is willing to do it. To me, I like the idea of reducing the amount of work hours and increasing the wages because that kind of thing can help boost morale and it is already proven that when you put a good salary for a worker, their productivity increases.

Obviously if a company is paying you they wont want that you work less hours and therefore be less productive but keep getting the same wages. When the employee hired by the company will work, only then the company will grow, and wages can be made out of the profit.
However, Flexible Work hours gives the employee the flexibility to work at their own feasible time but they still have to complete the 8 or 9 working hours quota.
3095  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reasons why Bitcoin price drops recently on: March 27, 2021, 10:13:35 AM
The current price correction isn't surprising anymore, you will see this all the time as we are in a volatile market.
A lot of reasons that could change the trend and we can't avoid this. Dumpers and weak hands will easily get affected but for those who actually understand the situation, it finds normal and have nothing to worry about.

We have once at the dip for more many times but we also recover just also in time.

If you were in 2017 bull market you knew that bitcoin corrected to 30-40% before moving up. In this bull season we are only getting 20-25% correction which shows that the demand of bitcoin is much high as compare to four years back.
I hope this small term correction is over soon and we may see 70,000$ soon.  Smiley

3098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bsctalkforum can be compared to this forum on: March 27, 2021, 07:57:24 AM

And from the letters of their website name, I'm sure it's for an specific coin they were talking not really the Bitcoin itself so don't get it wrong. A lot may be in common to their website but the content is from here so it's not a problem at all.

Yes, they have a specific altcoin and also they are giving it free in their twitter https://twitter.com/BSCTalkForum
The token nake is BTF and they are giving 250 BTF free to random 100 winners on completion of a small task. They are far far away to become the bitcointalk of the future.
3099  Other / Off-topic / Re: Buying a Dog on: March 27, 2021, 07:43:47 AM
If you like large dogs, you can consider raising a Samoyed. Samoyed looks really beautiful. Its nickname is Smiling Angel, because it always looks smiling. But he also has the common problem of large dogs and has a lot of activity. If you don't have enough time to walk the dog, it will use the extra energy to demolish the house.
I hate dogs that has lots of activities because they will only ruin your house .

i would rather have a cat instead of having dog like that  Grin
If I had a dog I would treat it as a best friend. "Take another beef and sausage"
So what Kind of Dog ? because that's the OP's Question?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mine is Hush Puppies ..
Everyone has personal preferences and some people like to keep pets in their home and consider them as their friend. Personally i don't like to keep them as pet only because it take a lot to care about them and i don't have much time. Don't you think that mostly people who are alone or are old like to keep pets ?
3100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of people who buy bitcoin. on: March 26, 2021, 09:58:52 AM
anyone can buy a small amount. anyone who wants to invest their very little amount of money in order to have a better chance in the future will buy BTC. you don't have to be a millionaire but having just internet access will give you a chance to win.
certainly, the ones who can afford are buying BTC, the rich ones are buying BTC because they are also investing. you could also say there are criminals also buying BTC.
the elite sure are the ones going to be the big buyers. you can look at elon musk. we never know how much BTC he got.
Just don't check who is buying bitcoin and in how much amount everyone is accumulating. The important thing is how much bitcoin we are accumulating. Most of us are not whales so we cannot buy more bitcoin but that does not matter. Each person should accumulate as much as he / she can, as they will know the true potential of bitcoin in 5-10 years.
