I might have missed Burns vs Maia.  Will try to have a look see if I could find that match somehwere online.

And it's all about stand up with Woodley...  Usually at least.  I don't think I've seen him shoot take downs as part of his main game at the UFC.
You are lucky as UFC published their fight Gilbert Burns vs Demian Maia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oafaEf0cqx0 in youtube  Wink.

Styles makes fights and Woodely is a decorated wrestler but he knows the danger if he takes down Gilbert Burns and the credentials i said about Gilbert Burns is he was a former  IBJJF champion as well Abu Dhabi Pro Champion which are the top grappling competition in the world. Going by the math which is really difficult in MMA i expect this to be a stand up fight.

PS: Only Nate Marquardt knocked Demian Maia out the other knockout loss was due to injury and Burns was his careers third knockout loss.
3082  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Craig Steven Wright is a liar and a fraud - Tulip Trust addresses signed message on: May 25, 2020, 01:18:14 PM
Big news regarding Faketoshi and his ownership regarding Tulip Trust addresses.
Someone signed this message from 100 addresses with BTC mined in 2009:
These are the address he provided in court right  Cheesy. For the next few years he had his hands full to concentrate in court dealing and then will spend time behind bars for trying to produce fake documents and wasting the time of the court.

The year 2020 is proving to be a good year for CSW  Grin, first the doctorate in Plagiarism  Cheesy and yet again faking documents in court.

EDiT:
Was able to verify all the address posted and all the wallets i checked had 50BTC.

145 wallets listed with a total of 7250BTC Shocked.

~
People like him just think they can lie and say whatever they want without any consequences whatsoever.
We may see him in jail soon or he will escape to some foreign country.
He never thought that the claim would end up in court and shout out to Kleiman estate for dragging it to the court and hence the lies are exposed for everyone to see Cheesy.
3083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 24, 2020, 07:28:44 PM
What I was saying was that applying saliva is a relatively recent phenomenon. It started sometime during the 1970s. Before that the pace bowlers just used their own sweat and towel to get one side of the ball heavier.
In the early times the umpires never used to check the ball and there are documented instances where creams and other materials were used to polish the ball and Pakistan bowlers invented reverse swing and shine was an integral part. The problem with using sweat is that it will help in getting the ball heavier but as a spinner you really do not want a heavy ball and hence spit is commonly used to shine the ball rather than sweat.

In baseball it is called spitball and using saliva is banned because it is hard to predict the trajectory of the ball and one player died and from then on you are not allowed to use saliva or any other foreign objects to polish the ball and they did not ban because of hygiene reasons. The shine is important for a bowler and now all the rules favor the batsman and i do not want to see changes like these that only aides the batsman.
No idea about baseball but a tragedy usually forces changes. In cricket body line and leg side field restrictions were implemented for safety reasons and according to reports 174 players died on the cricket field in the past 100 years and majority of the death were before helmets and safety protections were compulsory.

This is a temporary restriction that is implemented so that cricket could resume during the pandemic and eventually they will allow players to shine the ball using saliva.

Antonina Shevchenko in women flyweight can be interesting to see.
Antonina Shevchenko is facing a tough fighter in Katlyn Chookagian and the fun part is she just fought the other Shevchenko sister in her last fight for the  Flyweight Championship and i have not seen Antonina Shevchenko against tough opponents and Chookagian will be her toughest opponent till date.

^  I don't know much about Burns but being a BJJ guy, the match could end up being like Woodley vs Maia...?  A borefest.
Gilbert Burns is a second degree BJJ specialist but in his recent fight against Demian Maia he knocked him out cold in the first round which i did not expect and when he faced Gunnar Nelson i though Gunnar Nelson would win but Burns surprised me with a decision win. I expect Woodley to try the stand up game because Burns is a submission specialist on the ground with legit grappling credentials.

3086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China electric issue causes Bitcoin to pull back on: May 24, 2020, 10:10:27 AM
Now, my question is, does the Sichuan electric issue causes Bitcoin to pull back from almost hitting the $10,000 level?
The electric issue in Sichuan has nothing to do with the price of BTCitcoin. There is a correlation between miners switching on when the price of BTCitcoin rises and switching off when the price goes down but they do not control the price of BTCitcoin and i am not sure why people always have these kind of confusions.

I was not aware of the electric issues in Sichuan but there was a considerable hash rate drop after halving.
3087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's see If BTC re-test 9500$ zone on: May 23, 2020, 11:34:10 PM
I learnt that mining difficulty level and market demand/supply are what determine the trend of bitcoin market which is furthermore what happen today when the price of BTC dump.
The demand and supply determines the price of BTCitcoin and mining difficulty is directly correlated to the price. Since halving many miners have shut down their machines and now the confirmation time is really high unless you are paying a much higher transaction charge and the difficulty level should be decreased as the hash rate has dropped. Since miners are looking for incentives as soon as the price moves higher the hash rate increases and thereby the difficulty will be adjusted according to that.

So, we need to reach to a level where it no longers drops under these prices. For example we do not drop under 3k anymore, 0 to 3k is all but closed for bitcoin, we need to increase that bottom to 5k at least, that is what I am excited about.
The market determines whether it is time to change the bottom Wink. I hope we will not see $3k valuation anymore but in a market anything is possible.

Sourav Ganguly is a BCCI president first and I do not think he will vote for T20 World Cup when he knows how important it is for BCCI financially to conduct IPL. Therefore I doubt he will vote Worldcup over IPL.
As a player and captain who changed Indian cricket i expect Sourav Ganguly to give importance to the T20 World Cup than financially motivated IPL, he will not look for the business side but what is fair in a situation like this.

I am sure they will organise the IPL with out any spectators using local players and if foreign players want to come they will provide them with necessary safety measure. They will opconduct these matches in states where there are less cases as if now Kerala, Telengana, Himachal Pradesh and few others have shown a huge improvement.
I can assure that Kerala will not allow any sort of sporting events in the near future, their only aim is to bring back people who are stuck abroad and make a safe environment for everyone and more than four lakh people are expected to return from different countries. People safety first and then sports and that will be the motto Wink. And if everything returns to normal then it might allow sports to return, other than that the Kerala government will not allow a sporting event to hold up medical staff and other facilities for a sports to carry on while the common people needed it most.

~snip
As far as i understand, Indian Players are assets for BCCI . Almost every Indian cricketer has fair amount of fan base even the retired ones. so everything comes down the money, that's a only reason every foreign league wants Indian cricketers participation and BCCI don't want to expose them to other leagues as it effect their interest (IPL)
Since Sourav Ganguly is the president i expect him to think logically rather than tying up these players whose potential to earn as a sportsperson is very limited, my view is to get rid of all these obligations and restrictions, let these players earn from different leagues world wide.
3089  Economy / Economics / Re: Hedge Fund Manager Says Governments May Make Private Gold Ownership Illegal on: May 23, 2020, 09:05:50 PM
I've been hearing about pending gold confiscation for years by goldbugs and the like.  I can't see a logical reason for it to happen, but who knows.  These are crazy-ass times we're living in.
I have heard stories from my grandmother who saw two world wars about the government confiscating gold ornament to aide the war, they would raid their homes and take away the gold promising that they would return at a later time and how some would hide the gold in clay pots and bury them underground so that they will not take everything. The funny part is my grandmother got the token of appreciation as gold coins per Ounce taken 15 years later. What i am saying is that it happened in the past but it is highly unlikely it will happen 100 years later.

During desperate times you never know what the government will plan to get out of the shit hole they are in and these are desperate situation . At best we might see some limitations on the amount of gold every individual could hold, other than that making it illegal makes no sense.
3090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin twitter account today asks "If you met satoshi what would you say?" on: May 23, 2020, 07:39:49 PM
"Maybe the one I would ask first is how are you, and why did you choose to hide even if your creation is so successful as well what did you do for over the decade since you decide hiding"
I see this on a different aspect, Satoshi chickened out in the beginning before thinking that it would become this big in a short period of time  Cheesy. The theories are many regarding his sudden departure including Gavin Andresen meeting with the CIA and the Silk Road and Wikileaks but he might have different reasons for chickening out but i would like to hear from him why he moved on and never returned which lead to a split in the community and if he ever comes forward even though it is highly unlikely i would like to hear these critical things Wink.

And also I will say thank you since his creation really helps a lot to the people since it gives opportunity to the other.
Since he helped create a trillion dollar market around the globe, everyone is thankful for his vision.

@eaLity if it comes down to a vote I hope that all the countries will vote for scheduling the T20 World Cup, instead of opting to send their players to play in IPL. Furthermore it’s an open secret that BCCI is doing all they can to postpone the T20 World Cup, and in it’s place schedule the IPL and they may even succeed if conditions suddenly improve in India and at the same time number of cases rise in Australia.
Sourav Ganguly is the BCCI president and i hope he will vote for T20 World Cup rather than the IPL even though the loss they will be encountering will be huge, the situation in India is not that favorable to restart the matches but the situation in Australia is completely different, they only have 515 positive cases and the situation is under control and hence there is a possibility for the T20 World Cup.

~snip
Hyderabad is a better option in comparison even though the cases there are a bit higher. However, this is still a bad time to consider hosting the IPL or the T-20 World Cup in my opinion.
As mentioned earlier the situation in Australia is under control, they can carry on with the World Cup and if possible the IPL can be shifted to Australia considering the situation in Australia is under control.

After Raina, Yuvraj, Bhajji, Yusuf Pathan. Uthappa joins the list.
I cannot understand why BCCI is stubborn in allowing these players to play outside as they are not even playing for the national team and why to restrict their earning opportunity Undecided.
3093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Fate of Privacy Coins on: May 22, 2020, 07:12:10 PM
Ever-increasing regulations are demanding centralized exchanges to provide utmost sensitive information from their customers. Transparent cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum are much easier to keep track (for taxation, illegal activities, etc.) than it's the case with privacy-oriented cryptocurrencies like Monero and Grin. As governments pressure centralized exchanges to de-list privacy coins (consider the case of Huobi Exchange which de-listed Monero a while ago), their fate could be put at risk.
All the centralized exchange will be forced to follow the regulations and the authorities will force them to de list all the privacy based coins and the situation with Huboi exchange was just the beginning and if the exchanges wants to run their business successfully then they will be forced to follow the regulations and none of these exchanges would be willing to go against them.

Imagine if all centralized exchanges decided to stop the trading of privacy coins to Fiat or any other cryptocurrency. People will only be able to access them via decentralized exchanges or atomic swaps. The fact that they'll be considered "illegal", will make many people skeptical about using privacy coins in the first place.
To trade privacy coins in a regulated exchange will be a dream in the future, but there will be exchanges that will stay away from regulations and if there is a site that can be trusted and if all the fiat transactions can be carried out using P2P where the site acts as an escrow and it will move forward with ease. Government will try to restrict but they will not succeed completely because it is the world wide web Wink.

The only difference is that the authorities will force the privacy coins underground.

Jonny Bones will not stop hehehe.

I predict that Thiago Santos, Dominick Reyes and Israel desanya will certainly stop talking loudly about him if he wins versus the big fellow.
There is no doubt Jon Jones will move up to Heavyweight before retiring and i want to see him fight against the champion or the interim championship against Francis Ngannou rather than just moving up, if he wants to face anyone then Daniel Cormier at Heavyweight is another fight everyone wants to watch.

Going for Miocic for the HW title could work too.
Dana White should just drop Cormier.  Nobody wants to see him fight anymore.  IMHO.
I want Jon Jones to fight the champion and Stipe Miocic and Jones had their spat in the past and it will be a huge fight and Francis Ngannou is waiting in the mix for a long time.

In my opinion, Jones have to rematch Dominick Reyes and if time permits Thiago Santos and by that the Heavyweight division will have some clarity and then move on to fight the champion.

He has a good point tho. If Jon is really not scared to brawl those people who get beef with then he only need to do is say 'Yes!' and Dana will do the rest. As simple as that.
The truth is everyone wants to see Jon Jones loose the fight and the only option is to have a flush lucky punch from a heavy puncher, skill wise he is far superior than everyone else.

I want to see Francis Ngannou getting another title opportunity and a fight against Jon Jones is not an easy task as Jones clearly knows how to avoid that heavy punch for the first two rounds and then control the fight till the end.
3095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sports do you think that can resume amid Covid-19 scare. on: May 21, 2020, 11:27:28 PM
I think we should accept fact that most of sports will be played without spectators in upcoming few months at least (though in my country, football league returns with limited number of spectators and social distancing between them.) Probably almost every sport can return soon if virus situation isn't very bad in that country. They just need to take all precautions - measure athletes temperature, make tests if they can, reduce number of contacts between players, staff and etc when it's not neccessary.
If the situation is better then sports along with other business must resume with proper precautions. Checking the temperature alone will not be a good idea as 80% of the patients are asymptomatic and hence all the players should be tested properly and if all the players are negative then we really do not need these restrictions between players.

It would be just stupid to wait until virus will gone or magical vaccine will be invented. People now return to their jobs and sports shouldn't be exception.
The magical vaccine cannot be created just like that and everything should resume in a systematic manner, social distancing and other norms should be maintained while in public.
3096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 21, 2020, 10:40:22 PM
Hyderabad is not completely free from the pandemic, but it seems to be one of the better options right now. Tier 3 cities such as Goa and Trivandrum lack multiple stadiums, where dozens of matches can be played on a continuous basis. However, from the article posted by Huanebu, it looks as if BCCI wants the ICC to cancel the T20 World Cup. So what is the conclusion? Both these tournaments can't go ahead this year? Zero chance?
If there is an option for me i would rather want to see the T20 World Cup than the IPL and as you said, Goa and Kerala does not have multiple international stadiums, but they have stadiums Wink.

The World Cup was scheduled in Australia and the virus situation is under control and considering that if the countries that are participating in the world cup can take measures by testing the players then the problem can be sorted out considering England is planning to resume cricket, it is a realistic possibility that T20 can be conducted without audience.
3097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 21, 2020, 09:12:12 PM
The funny part is Walt Harris and Alistair Overeem will be training partners and i do not think Overeem will be willing to face Francis Ngannou once again as he was knocked out cold and he headaches he might have had after that will stay away from fight Ngannou again Cheesy.
This is not the first time Alistair Overeem welcomed his opponent to train with him, earlier he invited Curtis Blaydes to train with him after they faced each other and still they are training partners and now if he invites Walt Harris it is great for Harris to gain experience from a well experienced fighter in Overeem.

Now Alister Overeem wanted a rematch against Jairzinho Rozenstruik and i hope he gets that wish because in the first fight Overeem was winning the fight till the moment he was knocked out.

Woodley always have big talks and it looks like he is not planning to fight for the title again as he is facing Gilbert Burns, it would have been a great story if he faced Colby Covington as a title eliminator but instead he took another fight altogether.
Colby Covington would be a great fight for Woodley but Dana White does not like the attitude of Covington as he always mentions that he is difficult to deal and he might have asked for a bigger purse.

His condition has worsened. It appears we might witness an angry Khabib return on September and his anger might also be used by Dana and Trump for storyboards and propaganda against China's coronavirus.

I also predict Weili Zhang will be thrown to Valentina Shevchenko's den by uncle Dana hehehehe.
I saw the live coverage from Khabib in social media, some of his family members died of Corona virus and his dad is still struggling to overcome the disease. I hope he overcomes everything be healthy soon, if something happens to his dad i wont be surprised if Khabib retires.

Weili Zhang and Valentina Shevchenko would be a great match with the huge hype, if everything settles down, then it is a possibility that Dana White and the UFC will make that fight happen for the fans  Grin.

@JSRAW @Vishnu.Reang @ene1980

Regarding the Shakib Al Hasan situation, how the situation came to light is he disclosed these approaches to the anti corruption unit when questioned and for anyone who have no idea about the situation, the players will be attending anti corruption classes on how to deal with things when someone approaches you and the seriousness of the situation and the ACU members will be questioning players randomly and in one of those questioning sessions Shakib Al Hasan accepted that he did not inform about three approach from a person named Aggarwal who was looking for inside information.

The communication took place in whatsapp and Shakib Al Hasan did not respond to those messages but he failed to report the situation to the authorities and since he is an experienced player who has undergone all the anti corruption classes he was punished for his negligence.

This is the part screenshot of the ICC report and the reason for posting this is because the bookie was talking about BTCitcoin in part 11.13 Cheesy.

I wonder how many cricket players invested in BTCitcoin  Cheesy.

First, I disagree that the LH is the toughest division because Lightweight is a tougher one Cheesy. Second, no doubt that Bones is a good fighter because I once became fan of it. However, I noticed that he is not the same as before. Before, he was so aggressive, hungry for glory despite of how big his opponent is (I suddenly remember how he beat Machida and Shogun); but now it's very obvious that he is always playing safe in his recent fights. Therefore, I realized that he is not the greatest of all time. Check the HOF, they are closer to be proclaimed by that title Smiley.
The greatest of all time is determined by the domination of a fighter, Jon Jones never lost a fight in his career and he is the youngest champion in light heavyweight division and if he was not involved in personal issues Daniel Cormier who i think is another one of the greatest fighters ever will not even get the opportunity to become the champion at light heavyweight division. Just check the resume of fighters Jon Jones faced in his career and that is more than enough to determine his greatness. The cleaned out the legends of the sport and now he is cleaning up the present generation.

Light weight, Welter weight and Middle Weight division are packed with talents and since Jon Jones cleaned up the division there is no challenge for him in his division.
3100  Local / India / Re: Blockchain for the Pandemic on: May 18, 2020, 11:52:55 PM
'Aarogya Setu' app launched by government works exactly as you are suggesting. Data of citizens are filled on the app and it will alert you if someone with Coronavirus symptoms come close to you. However, an ethical hacker questioned the security of app last week to which Aarogya Setu team replied that the app is completely safe.
The security and confidence can be there as long as the details are not leaked, we experienced the huge leakage of aadhar card in the past and the government was ensuring everything is safe but millions of cards were available online.

Although the questions raised by hacker aren't related to personal data but still I think introduction of blockchain based database will help in complete security of personal information.
Introducing a blockchain can help in the safety of personal information, like tampering of our data or someone deleting our data but it does not give you the guarantee that the data will not be leaked.

Anyway, it's a need for now to have the app for your own security i guess
If you are not roaming outside you really do not need a surveillance system attached to you. Since it tracks the location and if you are in a major city and living in a big society it is possible that it will give false positives to the government.

The thing that made me think about the app is

" Aarogya Setu tries to determine the risk if one has been near (within six feet of) a COVID-19 - infected person, by scanning through a database of known cases across India."

If someone is infected and later identified to be a positive case then it will give the government the information about anyone who had access or crossed path with the infected person. I hope this is what they meant by this statement.
