3101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anybody here sell their Gold to buy Bitcoin? on: April 14, 2021, 04:55:55 AM
I'd say sell some and not all of your gold to invest in bitcoin. It's called diversifying your investment assets. I have not seen anyone who got rich by investing in just one investment option. They all diversify in different options. I think you should do just the same in order to make the most of the bitcoin and gold market.
Yeah, diversifying is highly recommended in order to cover all possible investment opportunities rather than sticking with one and missing all others. This way if you sell your gold for the reason of investing into bitcoins, then I guess you are doing a right step.

For most people, gold must be an one of prominent investment opportunity for decades to centuries as per their family heritage. Those people must think about diversifying their portfolio so that they could fasten their networth as bitcoin is known for higher returns in n short term whereas bitcoin is stable for years (if you skip the recent growth of gold due to pandemic). Moreover bitcoin is nothing but digital gold and you could feel safer even by holding bitcoins like how are doing with gold.
3102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 14, 2021, 04:02:34 AM
based on the history of Bitcoin movement we can learn, every time the Bitcoin price dumps, it will definitely go up even higher. The problem is how patient we can wait for the Bitcoin price to recover
Yes, being patience would be safest strategy to overcome all risks in bitcoin markets.
Only people who are in hurry to make themselves rich are going for day trading and burn their fingers.

Safe strategy for low risk in crypto space is available just due to the design aspects of bitcoin whereas in no other markets, such is not available as all other investments opportunists are always subject to market risks but bitcoin is having limited supply and halving to boost its market on every four year.

Simply being patience enough and making use of every dips to buy more are the few things we must need to follow to maximize the opportunity, we are having in bitcoin markets. When focus on maximizing at safer say the risks are getting eliminated in auto mode.
3103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Price Prediction on: April 13, 2021, 07:42:46 PM
Now that DOGE is massively adopted by people in the mainstream world, I'm starting to wonder what the price per coin will be in the future? While you and I know that the odds of Dogecoin reaching astronomical levels in price are very low, anything could happen in this strange and bizarre world of crypto. With Elon Musk in the game, we might be closer to the moon than we've ever imagined. Tongue

What are your predictions for Dogecoin's price in the long term? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Smiley
Dogecoin was never a promising to invest, it never was a real coin. The reality is that Elon Musk tweeted about it and it became bigger than it should be. Realize the fact that how it was created was a pure joke and that's it, people used it mockingly, it didn't worth anything at all, and all the people that bought it and used it was doing it for fun and jokes.

After a while some people started to take it seriously when it shouldn't have been and it became to worth a lot more than it should worth and that is why it increased, the intention wasn't to make money with it, the initial intention was to have fun with it, but I guess some traders took it too seriously and it worth something. On top of that Elon tweeted about it and now people think it may worth something. In all seriousness if Elon tweets about it you could make money, but that's about it.
3104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Cardano aiming to solve problems that Ethereum cant' solve? on: April 13, 2021, 07:28:08 PM
With some respect to Cardano, ETH is 200B marketcap coin and the people behind it have much larger funds to hire better developer than the ones in Cardano.

Is not like the developers in cardano are special snowflake geniuses that can invent many new things that other develope rcan build

This is just my point of view. I noob wanting to get get knowledge.

Happy to get explanations how is it that ADA will do great things that ETH cannot do?
Weirdly enough, this is exactly what people are not looking at, and should not look at, and this is exactly why crypto was created, to prevent this. Ethereum doesn't have people behind it, cardano doesn't neither, there is no centralized organization that makes decisions, there teams and foundations that work on them if they want to, but you can work on it as well, then whoever worked on it, puts it in a vote matter of speak by chain and if that is liked it will continue that way, if not then it will be ignored.

How do you think we got into segwit with bitcoin? You think satoshi came in and helped? There was a proposal and we as the users accepted it. So ethereum could fix their problems, cardano could fix their problems, one may while other doesn't, or neither solve their problems, there is nothing that will make them powerful just because of developers.
3105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Honest opinion poll about the potential of NFT on: April 13, 2021, 06:31:04 PM
Let's do a honest opinion poll about the potential of NFT.

Question - what the future holds for NFT?

In my personal experience, I have received mixed reactions from different type of people on this same question. So I want to know the view of this community.
It is not a shock that we do not end up with anything too radical about this, I knew that people wouldn't be picking excellent view all that much, we all know what this is about and what it can become, so it wasn't really that shocking, however one thing is for sure, people do not see that this will die neither. Most probably outcome is NFT finds a new method to be used inside crypto that would make it actually great and have a good use case.

For example there is a defi in BSC these days, it is a new one, and I am not going to name so that it wouldn't be shilling it, but that project is using NFT to increase the Farm and Pool income, you use their token, buy NFT, and there is chances of getting something either very good, or very bad and many things in between, and if you get something very good you earn more from farming as well and you spend that NFT to increase your income. This allows their token to be burned, their NFT to be burned and basically make that NFT a great way to use it, actually worths money as well.
3106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Have you given up on airdrop? on: April 13, 2021, 05:48:34 PM
There isn’t anything on the space, nothing, except scam, have you given up or do you still cope and looking for airdrop?

Airdrop participated: 20
Airdrop received to this day: 0
Yes, you heard me, nothing at all, not even one airdrop, that’s how red pilled the space.
I have to say there is a lot of things to consider when we are talking about airdrops, because bounty could be considered an airdrop type of event as well and that matters a lot. For example if there is an airdrop that just gives money away, like "follow us on twitter and join our telegram group and you will make money" that would really not be my thing anymore, I was very interested in that back in the day (not long ago, as recent as October) because I have seen a lot of people who did that, and kept the coins and not sold, and eventually they made a lot of money.

That is what I assumed airdrops will always be, but eventually they became horrible and they became useless, all airdrops I have seen started to worth nearly nothing. That is why I have given up on that, but sometimes there are some bounties that pay you if you work hard, and that still could happen to worth something, still rare but better than free airdrops.
3107  Economy / Economics / Re: The Winklevoss twins worth $3bn Each for buying Bitcoin @ $8 with confidence on: April 13, 2021, 05:28:39 PM
On this forum the Winklevoss are mostly know for their early investment in bitcoin, although figures could be more or less accurate. However, for the rest of the world they are better know for having actually invented "ConnectU" which Zuckerberg stole (allegedly) to create Facebook.

It just seems that the bitcoin assets are the consolation price compared to Facebook, aren´t they. Anyway, these two guys seem to be also investing in startups. It justs seems that some people are able to generate many good ideas and simply have good criteria for investing, packed with having studied in great universities and having the right financials for starters.

This chart may not be true anymore. For example the world total marketcap of gold is around 10-11 trillion dollars, whereas bitcoin is 1.1 trillion dollars, that means in about 10x we are at gold marketcap and that is good enough for me to be in a position like that today. So, even though most of the other parts could be either true or close, that image is quite behind on what bitcoin price is today. Obviously apple or amazon or other parts are wrong as well, but we are doing quite well.

Bitcoin is I think 6th in the marketcap ranking if you remove gold and silver, which means there is only 5 companies above it right now and that is quite good, there is also gold and silver above it, but I think bitcoin will be moving way beyond Silver very soon, and could be bigger than Google by the end of the year as well, that would be really awesome if we can manage that.
3108  Economy / Economics / Re: Out of Reach on: April 13, 2021, 04:42:53 PM
We are already at nearly 63k dollars, another ATH, and people are still talking about how people can't own 1 bitcoin anymore. It is not about owning 1 bitcoin anymore, it is more about how you can buy any amount of bitcoin you want and still can get richer. I personally bought less than 1 bitcoin a year ago and that was the best financial investment I have ever made in my life, that's really proof that you do not have to own 1 bitcoin, you can buy as much as you can afford, buy 100 satoshi, buy 10k satoshi, buy anything you can afford and you will profit from that.

Financial freedom doesn't start from having a lot of money first and then making that money into even bigger money, financial freedom starts from the small 20 dollars you put aside that gets more money from you and the investment all together, do not assume that 20 dollar will not become big amount, just work towards putting more 20 dollars beside it and hope that goes up.
3109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous a red flag? on: April 13, 2021, 04:11:45 PM
I'm doing a research on a new project right now and I see that the team decide to go anonymous, is staying anonymous a red flag for newbies?

Depends on the anon level to me. If you are talking about knowing the first name and last name and all KYC and basically knowing where it is based? You do not need that at all, who would need that, I think giving that much information just because you are creating a project doesn't mean anything at all. However if you mean not even knowing their telegram username? That makes zero sense to me.

There are projects with "community manager" as the owner and admins of the telegram group because the real creators of the project are fully anon, that means it is not good, because I would like to at least learn their username, that is literally bare basic minimum requirement for me, you could start literally a brand new account on telegram for this, and if you do not even do that, it means you are a scammer in my mind even if you are not. Which is why there is a level to anonymity and sometimes it's okay, sometimes it's not.

The only thing I am going to do is just be watching these so called Ethereum killers, whenever they actually fulfill their dreams of beating Ethereum from that too position, well, that will be just it.

But right now, if you ask me that question the answer you’re going to get will be a NO, I don’t think any of them is going to beat Ethereum from the top position, this is not the first ones we have seen and all of them that came before Cardano (ADA) all claimed to have a better vision and good developers that will help push them to that level of beating Ethereum from that too position, but a copy still remains a copy.

3112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2020/21 Season on: April 12, 2021, 08:01:46 PM
By the looks of it Fenerbahce is the only opponent left for Besiktas and today could be the day Besiktas fans could sight a relief and consider themselves as the winner of the league, sure math wise there is still a chance even if FB loses this game but realistic there is none. That would make things 4+ game difference and that's just not possible. Galatasaray already took themselves out of the contention this week so we could easily say that there is just like one loss difference between Besiktas being champions or Fener having a chance if Besiktas loses.

In any case I believe today Fener will lose, not because they are the worse team or anything, they are clearly the better team, but this is Fener, they come all the way to final stages and lose, they have always been like that, terrible feeling for their fans I am sure, and today with a loss it will kill all the hopes fans ever had.

When someone loses money here (or any business really) they start to keep bothering other people with their problems as well. Back in the very very early days of satoshidice I remember many people claiming that it was rigged and there was pages and pages worth of stuff about it. It was never rigged, only reason why it was considered was that tech people who finally had some money of their own (not meaning rich, just bitcoin being owned by them mostly) started to gamble for the first time.

Now we are still here and still talking about same type of people, who can't realize that you can't cheat the system and then say that you were cheated by the system, eventually you will be figured out and your money will be taken, just either play decently or do not play at all because that is not going to be an easy task to cheat the system and get away with it, no matter how much you cry.
3114  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - New Community Chat feature on site now!! 🚀 on: April 12, 2021, 06:29:47 PM
BTW anyone joined yesterday Sportsbet CEO AMA? I joined up late, didn't asked questions and was just staying back and listening to all his plans and answers and I really loved the guy. A positive business mind and someone who dares to take the risk in such dynamic environment. Looking at him going on felt like he has lot of exciting cool plans to get implemented in sportsbet. And so far you guys have delivered and developed so much.

I still look back at the emails I used to get in 2016-17 and now and you guys have developed and changed so much. Can't wait to see how you guys develop further. GJ @sportsbet
Sportsbet.io is a gamblers built casino, I have always said that, and it shows. CEO is probably someone who has gambled all his life and he decided to build the casino on that premises, this sportbook is literally built with everything a sports bettor could think of.

CEO is just one part of course, I believe everyone that works here is like that, feeling like they hire people who only gambled on sports before as a requirement, because if you gambled that would mean you know what you liked and what you didn't like. Sure talent matters a lot, but you can hire someone who is a great marketing person but you can't find a steve, he is both good but also feels like a gambler himself. This goes for the whole company I am sure. CEO was just a proof that I was right about this guess, never in a million year I would assume otherwise and glad I am right.
3115  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Market is Thinking About Bitcoin Differently on: April 12, 2021, 05:19:45 PM
This is really nice and it shows the reason behind the market not going down for long now. Just look at the past years when there were bullish trends and compare them to this year, one thing I have noticed about those years were that whenever the price of bitcoin goes up like this people would always starts selling immediately, and that will lead the market down and it will crash heavily within a short time.

But this time around it has been something totally different, things have changed this time around, after a long time now the price of coins in the market has been steady growing and adding more value everyday even when you think that it is over. So for sure, the mindset of investors have changed this time around and they are now looking at holding for a long term.
3116  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden infrastructure investment - got it right? on: April 12, 2021, 09:14:15 AM
Since, I do not live in USA I don't really care what they do with their debt, but it does impact our lives time to time, a product from USA, like for example iphones lets say, means that if I want to buy that, it should probably go higher in dollar value because apple will want more money since there is a bad debt and inflation situation going on, but our fiat is not growing stronger neither which means I will not be able to afford one, I haven't been able to for a long time now.

This is why I think it is bad, and I would love it if they could spend it on something good, but they are spending 750+ billion dollars on military when they could make all public schools free, all lunches free for kids, basically improve the lives of next generation and grow bigger, but they do not do that, they do roads... that is why I think it is impossible for them to grow better.

It looks we're going to expect more games and slots providers soon. That's good and all but as small BFG token holders would always ask, when increase staking pool Huh Grin

And yeah, I'm pretty sure stakers would also appreciate it if future tweaks will be announced in advance.
That's the thing about profitable tokens or coins like BFG, you do not know when they will go down in worth, or would they even have any worth, you know why? Even though people would make a lot of profit from it, they are still not focusing on it at all, and that causes a trouble where if people put their money in, or basically gamble, or if we are talking about any other coin, we could be talking about any way they could to make a profit by going in, they may not.

I know this sounds crazy, but if the whole world from the poorest to richest starts to put all of their money into bitcoin in that order, we will have bitcoin at 10+ million dollars, but we do not have that, why? Because not everyone does that obviously. Which means there is a point when something as awesome looking as BFT hits a wall and can't go any higher (for the time) and that's what worries me.

Well with most of the FUN under their control, I do expect some of the changes that could happen is that under the fortune of wheel we may soon have Fun tokens to be up for winning. Also, in wining lottery we might have the fun tokens to be won rather than btc which is now. Though this change depends upon admin if they want to introduce something like this.
Its a good idea to have a fun token in WOF as prize. This is to give opportunity to players who also wants to hold fun but unable to buy at this moment because the transaction fee is quite high.

I hope the team consider this because its really a good idea. Anyway because of the free spin I was able to have bitcoin even with small amount in my account, its amazing.
You guys are giving them more reason to have cheaper rewards, I mean sure as optional as it might sound, I would rather get direct satoshi if I can, not even reward points if possible and I would definitely not want fun token on top of that. Don't get me wrong 50 satoshi or 50 reward points do not provide anyone with anything, but I can get 500 reward points, instead of 500 satoshi, and that goes bigger as well, so that means if I ever win anything one day (which hasn't happened just yet unfortunately) I could actually get reward points that worth something but can't be exchanged until 100k and I am pretty far from that since I cashed it out recently.

It means I would prefer nothing but satoshi for now. If they do fun tokens that is going to be tough, even 1 fun token worths more than the minimum, but they could make the odds accordingly of course.
3119  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: April 11, 2021, 05:58:02 PM
There are so many new and better coins that are getting at the top levels these days and I can understand why casinos are a bit later in the situation then all other places like exchanges because it is harder to do it here, you firstly need a lot of that coin to let people gamble as well, so it is really not simple. I mean does anyone know any place that accept Dot or Ada?

As far as I know there is no big name casino that accepts it, there could be some gambling dapp or so but that's not the case here, it is centralized regular casinos and even the best ones do not have that. But why? They are both at top 10 right? And have been for few months too, so why not add them? Well, it takes a lot of time and a lot of effort. Same goes for when delisting a coin, why give that much effort and manhours when you can simple delist and add the ones that deserve it.

I can't believe that Leeds managed to beat City, that was a wonderful game by Bielsa and Leeds, they managed to play just proper football and that was amazing to see. I am sure if they play 10 times Leeds loses 9 of them but they managed to take advantage of all the situation. To get a red card and play the whole second half on 10 people and managed to score a goal just at the last minute is the perfect ending for a fairy tale game.

I think if I had to pick one, I would pick Leeds as the team with the most overachieved results so far, they are 9th in the league after a pandemic season of going up from championship and living their first ever premier league season under threat of pandemic and the manbun fc managed to actually become 9th under all those situations. I think they are going to be here for a very long time like the old days.
