3101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Favorite Casino Games with a Buy-In feature on: November 27, 2022, 11:38:12 PM

Just recently, got a decent win playing at DinoPolis by the game provider, Push Gaming. The feature I purchased is worth $47 for a $0.5 bet amount per spin. What I like about their bonus (buy-in) is; users have a chance of locking a certain reel for a better chance of hitting a good win and free spins can be replenished. Yes, the bonus can be triggered 3 times.
-cut-
I have to check that, thanks. I don't use buy-in feature except in demo mode, to see what i would be getting if i was lucky. And when i finally get one, it just feels better when i am getting it for "free".

My favourite game with buy in feature was first one i tried. It was Demi Gods (2) i think, from Spinomenal. Because every time i got it it had different set of rules, and ways to get money. I think there were like "5-8" steps with different kinds of spin setups. Everyone being highly profitable and fun to watch.

There's currently slots challenge in stake so i am going to try out Dinopolis next.
3102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wrapped BTC depegged from BTC on: November 27, 2022, 11:03:50 PM
I am not sure if this real question, but obviously because people want to use decentralized exchanged to trade it. People who are asking why anyone should use CEX could be asking you that question instead. It was a way to trade cryptos with different blockchains against each other. There's really no perfect system for doing that, as every way has their own downsides.
There are good points about having it, it's like a gateway for you to trade on different decentralized exchanges and do your strategies there. But looking at what's with it right now, although it's not that really much at all. Still, big things like those collapses came from the little holes that has been probably seen and said before.
I agree that people have way too much trust for wrapped tokens, just like they have on CEX:es. Self custody with native wallets should be the starting point for everyone who enters the crypto scene. However not everyone is that tech-savvy. Many of them struggle even with CEX, but people holding wrapped tokens are important part of crypto growth as they create liquidity in DeFi. Even if you wouldn't like the "IOU" like fundamentals of it, cross-chain liquidity is essential if we are looking any kind of adoption for DeFi
3103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: November 27, 2022, 09:23:44 PM

That is if he caught Benavidez off guard.  Watching Benavidez fight, I saw him well guarded with is hands always up on a difference that covers the whole of his face and part below his chin.  Benavidez is also cautious in approaching his target and in the close quarter he has his one hand on clinch on the neck of his opponent while throwing his free hands.  That position is somehow disadvantageous to Benavidez's opponent.
Well there's that, but my guess is that caleb could take an advantage of Benavidez's confidence. I mean sometimes when Benavidez hits combos it just looks like opponents let him do that. Of course they could be so devastating strikes that opponents are going panic defence mode, but from the outside it just looks some of his like opponents just stand hands up and he gets to beat them as much as he wants.
3104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad beginning for crypto beginners. on: November 27, 2022, 08:46:32 PM
Yep, beginners know nothing, but there's an advantage in that too. Every single one of my friends that came in after me got lucky because they weren't scared or skeptic. They didn't care for fundamentals and invested in a wau that looked random to me. I was rolling my eyes, but they mostly got it right. And they took risks that seemed insane to me. They didn't have traumas from past bear markets so they weren't scared of anything. Some of them cashed out more then me which got me quite bitter.

But i bited my lip and thought that i can learn from this too. I asked them how did they guess and they just said they followed their instict. Which makes sense when you like same things as rest of the newbs, they just saw what someone like them would be interested in. There were no fundamentals involved. They just invested into potential hype.

Most of them got rekt by last 2 bear markets and they somehow lost the touch for it. I used to get tips when they were rolling. Now they are too careful and attached to their bags.

It must have a dog logo.  What can I say, memecoins seem to go up by a lot more than the rest of the market.
-cut-
This made me laugh out loud.
But your list is spot on. I would like to add that it needs to be new token/coin that people haven't yet tweeted about, at least not too much. Preferably with no advertising bounties. Old projects under 10M marketcap have either died or something bad has happened behind the scene. Something that no one is interested in them, so unless you know some inside news about those, you are betting on a dead horse.

Also no price talk on the channel gives a professional touch that makes me think it's already more mature and professional then 90% projects out there.

I live in a country with warmer temperatures and our Winters are not very cold.... so it's not an big issue here. Thank you for posting this, because the Oil & Gas restrictions are definitely going to increase these fatalities.
And with countries that have sometimes very cold winters have better thermal isolation on houses, like in here in finland triple glasses everywhere on windows etc.
We have already very much prepared for winter. There might be some controlled and scheduled blackouts, but nothing we couldn't survive. We know what cold is and how to combat against that.

Country i would be most worried about is Germany, but that's most likely comes to just one winter of high energy bills. As if Russia fails to use winter as an edge and turning point for this war, Putin most likely won't be a problem after next year and even whole Russia could fall apart.
3107  Economy / Economics / Re: EU Moving to Ban Privacy Coins: Report on: November 27, 2022, 01:12:05 PM

I already expect many country will ban privacy coins since Coinbase already delist privacy coins from few years ago.
Why would you expect them to ban these private coins, if you really want to use decentralized coins to protect your privacy then you should also support the existence of private coins private? Once they have succeeded in banning privacy coins like XMR, Zcash then most likely they will also find a way to ban decentralized coins like bitcoin because they want a centralized and visible world. They are trying step by step to control this market.
Just because people in here follow the news to confirm that yes, governments are getting privacy coins banned doesn't mean they are supporting it. He literally said that "why privacy is important". Most of people in here are for privacy.

And yes they technically could ban Bitcoin/altcoins from CEX as well for numerous reasons. But as normal blockchains are transparent, they don't need to do that for AML reasons. They are going to make wallet kycs mandatory though. And if someone doesn't partake in this, they will just get rejected from CEX:es that are complying with regulators.

If you want to actually support privacy coins you should contact your congressman / representative and explain them about crypto, or/and vote for people that are for privacy. Although only privacy with auditability will be the one that most likely survives this as RegDeFI will be the future on this no matter what we want, not anonymity.
3108  Economy / Economics / Re: EU Moving to Ban Privacy Coins: Report on: November 26, 2022, 10:29:26 PM
That's the point of using privacy coins as crypto Ethos.
-cut-
Yeah, i know and that's the problem, if devs won't be adjusting their ideology. If they are not going to be complying with regulators, privacy coins will be next to worthless soon.

Now that governments are trying to capture crypto all because of the FTX failure.
FTX wasn't the reason for getting rid of privacy coins. Reason is FATF travel rule and it's been in motion for a very long time now. That's why so many exchanges have already delisted them. Case FTX probably accelerated the timeline on regulations, but privacy coins weren't the issue with FTX and that's not why they are investigated.
3109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 26, 2022, 07:30:51 PM
Im not even know on whose DK yoo but made out some research
https://en.everybodywiki.com/Dk_yoo
So this guy had some history of martial arts but currently this guy is a Youtuber.
So its expected for some exhibition fight to happen once again.
Yup, just heard from him first time and had to watch his videos. Somewhere he was marketed as "modern day Bruce Lee" which makes me think of a fake showman. His matches look horrible. Like he never had been in a fight and in the video he looks just surprised. Like a kid thinking "i am in a real people fight now, not going to use my kung-fu".
I don't bear to watch this live as it all seems just too cringe.

Being youtuber fits his "Bruce Lee" showmanship perfectly.

I guess i have to give him points for legitimately trying and putting himself out there. I couldn't do that so i shouldn't diss him. And that he is actually releasing these fights on videos, that shows that he believes in his own skills. I don't but that doesn't and shouldn't matter to him.

I would watch that. Gambling must have been fun when it wasn't regulated at all. I wasn't playing with cryptos back then but then again the whole crypto scene is a movie to be made. There are so many insane stories to be told that i don't think majority of people would even believe how weird this scene has been. I've read Ben Mezrich's Bitcoin Billionaires and there's a movie coming out from that, but that won't be even scratch the surface on how weird things have been.
3111  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 1 in 4 americans are skipping thanksgiving in 2022 to save money on: November 26, 2022, 07:06:40 PM
I guess Thanksgiving like Christmas here it can be both an expensive and pressurising time.
The pressure of keeping up a tradition and the expense of buying into that tradition. These
celebrations have become highly commercialised and they can be kept as simple as you
want .... or as complicated as you make them.
I've heard that from my friend who lives in US and compares it to Finnish Christmas. As during christmas we are pretty much forced to meet relatives and talk with them, visiting graves to remember past loved ones and relatives there. And eating weird finnish food that's eaten only during christmas.

And as same as in US, we don't really like the fact that we are forced to talk with relatives especially when things are so polarized. And i am guessing that 1 in 4 americans also skipped the mandatory conversation about FTX and how the whole crypto is a scam.

When they block a sitting US President - Trump - because of their politics, they're probably illegal, but for sure in extremely bad taste.
-cut-
They blocked Trump because he was throwing fuel in to flames during January 6th Capitol attack. They didn't block him because of his politics, as those have never changed from the beginning.

They banned him because his fueling of treasonous mobs was a national crisis and huge attact to everything US stands for. They were attacking to the heart of united states just because democracy didn't suit them anymore. People got killed and Trump was acting as their cheerleader. And i not sure what you mean probably illegal, whose actions?

Probably an attempt to dull mind of their customer victim. But on a side note, i can't believe they have 172K follower. Although it's likely they buy fake follower since the engagement number (like, reply, etc.) is very low.

Could be old accounts, and if i remember correctly they had all sorts of airdrops and requirements for those. One requirement could have been to follow their twitter account. And as weird as it is they still have very active chat and userbase because there's no kyc, nor there seem to be any kind of regulation.

Also i was weirded out about where they get their funding. They made a campaign in here that was very expensive to them to use their cryptotalk forum. The amount of incompetence in that forum by admins was insane. It was just full of bots that got money from writing. They didn't know how to get rid of them so they banned whole countries that used them. That didn't help so they removed any btc payments from non-russian speakers. And that killed the whole international side of that forum. Also it seemed that they didn't have any plan for their talk token, nor it had any blokchain. They just claimed to have big plans for it. Then nothing happened.
3114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: November 26, 2022, 06:22:39 PM
If i had to guess (and i do because i am betting on this), It all depends on if Benavidez can absorb punches from Caleb, because he needs to do that as his defense sucks.

Meanwhile Caleb has excellent defense but gets probably cornered a lot by Benavidez who just like to walk towards.

This makes me believe that Knock out by Caleb could happen when Caleb is cornered. Because Caleb does an excellent bob and weave, and uppercut after low bob and weave could just be too powerful when it lands. And Benavidez doesn't really dodge well so he needs to be able to absorb some punches. But maybe it's too much to ask absorb that kind of punch to chin from Caleb

3115  Economy / Economics / Re: EU Moving to Ban Privacy Coins: Report on: November 26, 2022, 03:48:29 PM
When the whole whole purpose of privacy coins is to escape regulations i totally understand why regulators are coming after them.

And all this could be avoided.
Funny thing about Zero Knowledge systems is that with that technology, wallets and transactions could be auditable, yet confidential, as that's the whole gimmick in ZK tech.

Problem is that most of the devs aren't interested to comply with regulators, but to fight them so this is what happens.
3116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Coin losing its Value, What will happen to Public Funds on: November 26, 2022, 03:12:19 PM
Hello Guys just checking BNB coin, losing the support, and investors and people are predicting it may further fall, as Binance CZ is solely relying on BNB , what will happen if

1) BNB kept losing its value
First of all, what do you mean by CZ relying solely on BNB? I don't think that this is true in any level.

2) Till How much value (you think) that BNB can sustain
I don't understand this question. Are you asking how low bnb price can drop? To any level, it's not like they are using it as collateral.

3) What will happen to public funds, will there be liquidity issue if BNB falls to a certain level
What are these public funds you are talking about? And liquidity issue how? I think i am repeating myself but cz has said several times that they aren't using BNB as collateral.

4) What will be your way to save yourself if anything goes bad..
Please share your opinions ...
Then i would exit all markets, or even short them. If binance would go down the whole crypto marketcap wouldn't recover for ages.

3118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins safe? on: November 26, 2022, 11:45:40 AM
What do you guys think about this? Would you recommend the use of stablecoins or they just aren't worth the risk?
Stablecoins are one of the reasons we has as much liquidity and high prices as we do. I don't think that most people are against regulating/auditing them so that endless fud on them would end. And if trust on stable coins would increase, so would the market price of most coins.

Current situation is that anyone can just create algorithmic stablecoin and have no rules that requires them to provide any proof of reserves. Which is absurd when you think about it.

This will now change and obviously there will be some cryptopunks against it, as not only governments want to audit the reserves. They will most likely end up regulating more anyone asked for. But it's not like we have an option to stop them to do that.

This kind of gambling is always fun because these animals fights in the circle of human, have you been involved in this kind of animal gambling or have you watched such game before. Can such game be in the casino?
No i've not been a part of such fight, nor a dog or a bullfight.

But gambling on animal cruelty? No thanks, we still torture animals here for fun in some parts of europe (fox hunting, bullfights), but we need less animal cruelty, not more. Cock fights are illegal and should stay illegal.

But come to think of it, what is the difference between boxing and cockfighting? They are almost the same because they both involve living thing with flesh and blood. We have heard news of boxers or even wrestlers dying in the ring. Do you think all violent sports should be stopped?
Humans can destroy each other in a ring while fighting because they consent to do that, animals are not asked if they want to.

So there's a good reason why these things are slowly getting banned. People don't want animals needlessly to get hurt.
3120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: November 26, 2022, 12:04:16 AM
I thought we should start a thread where we could speculate about who would be the teams meeting in this year's Soccer world Cup final.
I was innitially predicting to see England vs Germany at the final, but the wway Germany demonstrated to have their team, it doesn't seem to me that they will get too far.
From what I have seen from the first matches, I believe there is a strong chance of seeing a Spain vs England match at the final of the world cup.
So, what are your predictions???
Keep them coming!
I was sure that final was betweene Brazil and England, but it seems i know  even less about teams that i thought. Then again all kind of realism went down the toilet with argentina versus saudi arabia, game so i guess the new reality is "anything goes". I think i might even the one with highest odds now. That could be the new trend in footbal because all i thought i knew about it is gone and it's mostly guesswork for me now.
