3101  Other / Meta / Re: [SMAS] Signature Managers against Spam (working title, a beta effort) on: July 12, 2016, 07:05:13 AM
Not to mention but mexxer-2 is way better than any of the campaign managers I have seen, unfortunately he is not active anymore.Put some Respect of his name.
The guy that asked for my help the minute he became a campaign manager? Not going to badmouth him in some way, but come on Cheesy

Coinroll added to the later list.
Cointroll is currently the worst source of spam, right behind is sportsbet.io with their tipsters (Yes, I got one specific guy in mind).

Gianluca [...] has multiple alts, some of them had ban in the past,IIRC there was quite an evidence of Gianluca being an alt of a serial scammer.
Care to share? It's kinda off topic here, but that sounds like something I would want to have a look at.

Gianluca is way far worst than just a campaign manager.[...] I doubt he would be a right candidate.
There are passive and active spots in SMAS, we need as many campaigns as possible to join the passive group, so any support at all is appreciated.
Of course, that means they will have to take up some rules from us, that's how we have to work, in order to stay in the passive SMAS team.

If gianluca is fit for a spot in the active SMAS team we'll see and discuss at a later point (if they want to be part of it in the first place, that needs a lot of time and hassle).

I hope this proposed collaboration finds some use in the personal guidelines that I shared.
Interesting input, thanks for the share.
Especially #4 is something we have in mind to fight. That's one of the main attack vectors SMAS is going to use. You'll soon see how.
3102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 64 more halvings to go for bitcoins on: July 12, 2016, 06:58:12 AM
If miners are still mining when the bloick reward is only a few satoshis then isnt 1 bitcoin going to have to be worth about a few million to justify running a miner?
We'll see about that in due time. Nobody can currently predict that, as it's gonna be relating on alot of factors yet unknown to us.

I was really under the impression that we would have mined all blocks in about 60 years
And then we just stop using bitcoins at all?

instead of mining any additional blocks the miners would just be rewarded with transaction fees.
Miners will still have to mine blocks in order to receive the transaction fees from included transactions.
No transactions are being confirmed without new blocks being mined.
If there are no new blocks being mined at one point, all bitcoins will be frozen in the addresses they currently are.
That being said, this isn't going to happen.
You're confusing the block reward being 0 with no new block being mined. The first will happen, the latter not.

It will be interesting in about 20 more years if bitcoin actually is still sustaining itself then the price surely will be much higher than we might be thinking at the moment.
It's interesting right now. It's gonna be interesting tomorrow.
3103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 61 more halvings to go for bitcoins on: July 12, 2016, 05:18:31 AM
So far as I read it, it says 64 halvings more to go. After you read it pls comment me your opinion on this.
We'll reach a point where the block reward falls below 1 satoshi.
With block #6,930,000 a total of 20,999,999.97690000 of the 21,000,000BTC total supply will be mined.
That's after 33 halvings and as 2 already have passed, it's 31 from now.
Do you really think the halvings after that will have any impact?

3105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 61 more halvings to go for bitcoins on: July 12, 2016, 04:20:51 AM
61 halvings x 4 years is equals to 256 years. So possible bitcoin will probably exist 260 years from now.
(Despite the numbers being wrong, how do you get to 61 halvings?!)
What gives you the idea that with the block reward reaching 0 at block #6,930,000 bitcoin will stop existing?
Bitcoin got the potenatial to exist/be used long over the time of block rewards and new bitcoins being added to the current supply.
Whether or not it will, that's another point for discussion entirely.
But there surely will not be a point where with a single block, bitcoin will stop being used/to exist.

I'll only count english posts though.

hey quick question, wwill we be paid for posts between when we aplied and when we get added?
Yes.

Alright, after reading everyones post history, I'll get the doc set up.
Due to this campaigns rather complex structure, that might need some time (I want to do this in a way it's convenient for both, you and me).
I've currently only considered applications that already had the signature in place, if you've applied for a spot and didn't set signature (+ other stuff) up, do it again with everything prepared.

Good docs are still empty. No entry has been made and no one has been added yet. When we will get an update sir
It's not that I posted just a few minutes ago, excusing myself and saying that I'm about to get onto the task.
Oh wait, I did.

Sorry it took so long, I will go through all applicants in a moment.

I can't find any announcement about board that is not counted as paid post on this thread. May I know which board that aren't counted?

Excluding local boards, every board is accepted
I am not sure if actually local boards may be accepted as, as long at the post can be understood by the campaing manager, you are free to  post whereevery you wish!
(for future reference, if it is not stated as a conditions thenm it usually isn't a condition of the campaign)!

I see on bitvest that lutpin said local board will not be counted due to language gap

Are posts in Local counted? Is it obligatory for everyone to wear personal text?
I'm going to have a hard time determining whether or not a post is being constructive if I can't even make out what the user is saying.
As a result, I won't be abled to count any posts not being made in english.
I assume that this campaign will also have the same rule as it has the same campaign manager?
Yes, I will only pay for constructive posts and if I can't determine whether or not a post is constructive, the I can't pay for it.

Sorry it took so long, I will go through all applicants in a moment.

3111  Other / Meta / Re: 80 Shit Posts In 1 day! How come this idiot is not banned yet ? on: July 11, 2016, 06:37:53 PM
you can check out some of my posts, and you can find many where i have actually pasted the link,
to the tutorial with earning bitcoins,i dont know what you mean about this.
i did it in many post's so this argument is invalid.
You're barking up the wrong tree, that was actmyname, not Joel_Jantsen to point out the post with the tutorial.
Maybe take a second before blindly hitting quote and ranting away?
The argument of you spamming in a very badly manner is not invalid, your post history is a living evidence of it.

Anyhow, wanna address the issue brought up by Quickseller?
3112  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [POLL][DISC] Coins by Casascius etc. Do added "dust" transactions affect value? on: July 11, 2016, 06:23:50 PM
That being said, if any dusters out there want a list of physical coins to "dust" you are welcome to use this one.
I've heard that 1nasty1Me one really needs some heavy dusting.
Slightly off-topic, but it got here the other day, awesome coin Cheesy
3113  Other / Meta / Re: 80 Shit Posts In 1 day! How come this idiot is not banned yet ? on: July 11, 2016, 06:19:53 PM
Hmm...Let's say i am a shitposter.
But i dont know which posts are you talking about, can you tell me which one actually?
Im very curious about it.
Almost all of them.
That you make them longer and blow them up with adding some nonsense before or after the post doesn't change that fact.
I don't know how any campaign can be paying for stuff like that, but coinroll really seems to be going down a bad path.
3114  Other / Meta / Re: tigerfree on: July 11, 2016, 05:51:54 PM
I don't know how he is hacking those accounts, as far as I know he is an bubble headed idiot who can barely write code and he just appears dumb as shit in general.
He's most probably using the password hashes that leaked some time ago.

They were all almost certainly hacked using the password hashes that were leaked a year ago -- these users never changed their password since then, and were probably using fairly simple passwords.
3115  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] Bitcoin Penny™ Special Edition Roll No.9 on: July 11, 2016, 05:22:37 PM
Given that info, If you want in this time for 9, it's yours.  I'll gladly take any other spot.
I'd love to.
As a matter of fact, going with #9 never won me anything, it just kinda got my thing Smiley
Thanks for that, NewkTownTN, I appreciate it.

3116  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [POLL][DISC] Coins by Casascius etc. Do added "dust" transactions affect value? on: July 11, 2016, 05:15:03 PM
Yes an increase in utility increases use cases. This in turn increases demand, which increases value. Also, increased dust affects fees, more dust higher the fees, this will affect value as well. These changes could be nearly negligible, but technically, yes it affects value.
I did not take this into account. All those input scripts into an address means a bigger transaction fee ( if ever redeemed ). Thanks for your thoughts.
You don't have to spend the dust input when deciding to redeem your coin, you can just let it sit there and be done with it, no affect on fees whatsoever.

If given the choice between a coin with and one without dust, I would prefer without.. but I hardly see a negative price effect on a dusted coin. Especially true of the rarest few.. for example all the 1000BTC coins have all been dusted, but I'd still love to have one
Would have to agree with this one right here, if given the choice between two similar, same priced coins with one having dust added and one being at face value,
I would opt for the face value coin. It's a question of preference, nothing more.
However, I don't think it would or should change the price of either of the coins when being sold. It's just a question of what I would prefer (Not that there's not the possibility of it being dusted later anyway).
3117  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] Bitcoin Penny™ Special Edition Roll No.9 on: July 11, 2016, 05:04:51 PM
Sorry, Lutpin. If this had been a raffle for 8/10 I would have chosen 8, and Zepher could have sold you 9
No hard feelings, it's not that I did purchase this spot already four weeks ago.
Only that I kinda did.
Welp, win some, lose some.
All the best.
3118  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] Bitcoin Penny™ Special Edition Roll No.9 on: July 11, 2016, 04:29:28 PM
I can sell you the spot next to it for 0.1
That's not exactly how lucky numbers work, is it? Embarrassed
3119  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] Bitcoin Penny™ Special Edition Roll No.9 on: July 11, 2016, 04:17:34 PM
Owh, that's supposed to be my lucky number :/
3120  Other / Meta / Re: Unlobck 14 day account block on: July 11, 2016, 10:50:53 AM
Sorry bram_vnl, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum.
unsubstantial posts + signature campaign (14 days)
Yes it is my debt and I'm not with signature campaign any more , but the question how unblock
Wait. Those 14 days will pass.
Also, don't post from this account or any other alt account you have.
Any posts outside of the Meta sections, and any posts that are not in regard to appealing your ban will be considered ban evasion.
A ban evasion is a serious offense to the forum rules and will always end in your ban escalating on both, the yet banned account and the account used for said ban evasion.
