This might sound like a basic question but bare with me I’m a beginner. I’ve been reading about some nightmares people have had losing their money. Is Coinbase safe? And besides having a secure password and pin is there anything else I should be doing? Would appreciate the help.

Cheers

no its a centralised exchange with funds on private server

innovations for cryptoindustry? i might be interested to join but not if this is some kind of central banker scam. to find ideas among creative people to "repair the broken central banks"

i am tired of the central banking system

We are mostly interested in innovations in hi-tech industries. Blockchain is mostly interested for its trustless and borderless nature and possibility to create DACs (decentralized autonomous corporations).

you want to fund high tech innovations?  or do you want to create a financial structure for the sustainable development or advancement of those.

for the later i could help you for the first not because high tech funding can get quite moonhigh, as lots of kapital might be required.

addtionally hight tech alone is worthless junk without a basis, so it has to be pakaged good or you build something as unsustainable as the soviet space program into a poor environment busy with other issues.
3105  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gods/Divinity is no way anyhow humanist on: December 28, 2018, 04:26:01 PM
You can't use the logic of man to understand the greatness of God. You must take God at His Word.
So how do we know what are His Words? God hasn't appeared in front of me to explain me this otherwise I would believe in him 100%
Quote

After all, the heavens - space and the stars - are up there. But we as people barely have been able to make it to the orbit of the moon. And even our satellites have barely made it to the edge of the Solar System.

Cool

So heaven is somewhere in the universe for you?

God's purpose isn't to appear in front of you. After all, His Spirit silently rides right along with yours in you. His purpose is to watch you in detail.

Usually heavens. the sky, firmament, or expanse of space surrounding the earth.

Cool

i researched this world personally very carefully i am 100% sure its not just matter, energy, rays and organisms fighting for survival, but whats the point of god or how i say it divinity. what are we or i supposed to do, they are almighty they dont need anything if they are almighty. and if they are not almighty they are dangerous. only almighty gods/divinities are save to trust upon?

"With India a member nation of the G20 group, any rules to govern the local crypto space may be influenced by planned regulatory guidance from the international economic forum, the report adds."

ah come on these communists are just annoing
3107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India May Legalize Cryptos But Under ‘Strong’ Rules: Report on: December 28, 2018, 01:35:57 PM
We have to think about what might be the strong rules for cryptocurrencies. Decentralized talking about something. In this case, how can he limit something decentralized.

founding a bank in india are already quite "strong rules"
3108  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1BTC is equal to 10347 dollars on: December 28, 2018, 01:29:20 PM
"outlets" pfft

more easily if comparing bitcoin to gold

187,000 tonnes of gold vs 17.5mill btc currently existing /mined

1btc = 187,000 tonnes / 17.5m btc
1btc= 0.0106857142857143 tonnes
1btc= 0.0106857142857143 tonnes * 32150.7 troy ounces
1btc= 343.5531942857147 ounces *$1278
1btc= $439,060.98

so much fantasy and dreaming in this sect that seeks to achieve global enslavement to their "bitcoin"
3109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India May Legalize Cryptos But Under ‘Strong’ Rules: Report on: December 28, 2018, 12:10:53 PM
strong rules -> unlimited money printing and power only for the rich, and superrich.
3110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have bitcoin coming to my waves wallet for some reason on: December 28, 2018, 12:03:43 PM
This was funny really. I mean even we can find humor in such idiot stuff. Fake bitcoin all over, lol.
So, here is a record from LATEST TRANSACTIONS in my waves wallet at https://waveswallet.io/
Date: 10/22/2018
Type: Incoming Mass Payment
NAME:   Bitcoin
RECIPIENT:   n/a
FEE:   0.051 WAVES
UNITS:   0.00011680

However, when I go to my portfolio in the same wallet, it shows 0.0000408 bitcoin.
How come my total bitcoin is less than what is arriving?
I dont where the bitcoin is coming from.

On waves network, there are some tokens. One of them is bitcoin token. You can change the bitcoin token with a real bitcoin on exchange.
Maybe there was someone who send you a bitcoin token, but i still don't know why it shows only 0.0000408 bitcoin on your balance. But it is weird that you don't know where is the bitcoin came from.
Maybe Roger is making shitcoins on Waves now?

all scientists agree that the 21 million bitcoin on my private waves wallet are the true bitcoins
3111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All bankers hate BTC, am I right? on: December 28, 2018, 11:11:50 AM
Asking a CEO of a bank what they think of #bitcoin is like asking the CEO of a taxi company what they think of uber.

Do you agree with the sentence above?

Do you think the bankers all hate BTC?

Or they have already taken part in cryptocurrency world?

Looking forward for your ideas.

3113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are specific examples of problems with centralized banking? on: December 28, 2018, 08:31:25 AM
central banks cause a ton of problems,

economic insecurity, poverty they basically force the entire population to run into a process search called "what is the perfect citizen of society x"

they are run by a secrtetiv international banker elite that prints money and lives basically as the worlds kings over the heads of the population

this is an unending story and its where bitcoins support comes from in the first place, from the problems of the central banks

3116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for those who love Bitcoin on: December 28, 2018, 02:52:27 AM
I do not think there is any good news for people using Bitcoin at this time. Because at this time Bitcoin's price has reached its lowest level. But in the coming days, we can hear good news.

if bitcoin stagnates for a while, expect a new low level collapse. because all those that think its going to explode in value jump out.

3118  Other / Politics & Society / Re: American Capitalist Media gets out of controll and Mad on: December 28, 2018, 02:24:24 AM
Sorry but the article is actually pretty OK.

Title is a bit misleading sure but content of the article is objective and presents the facts from all points of view:
-There is a hole that has been made from inside
-It can be a sabotage or an initial hole made while building the station, hence an accident
-Astronauts conducts well and say that until there are proofs there are no way they consider the sabotage with a high probability as they trust their crew.

What is wrong with the article?

And I don't see why you blame USA here... Media trying to make the buzz is not something specific to America xD

american "free" media is now collecting all trash they can get in order to get attention, state media at least tries to be honest, and verifies stuff.

you will now see the direct negative konsequenzes of kapitalist media
3119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let me be clear to you, this is not a Bear Martket! on: December 27, 2018, 01:46:14 PM
yes, it is not Bear Martket, it is Bear Market

corrected it, says someone from a forum that spreads the term hodl
3120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let me be clear to you, this is not a Bear Martket! on: December 27, 2018, 01:36:52 PM
This bear market analogy is a term taken entirely from stock markets. And it is obvious that it is similar to the bear market even if it is true what you've said.

a stock -> addition into an ongoing standardised market

bitcoin -> "innovation" that tries to establish itself

thats quite though claiming that you insert bitcoin as a foreign body into an organism like the united states.
