I don't think the pairing were planned and Egypt having to play Senegal again was just a coincidence and not preplanned. African can only send 5 representative and from the groups there usually are 10 winners which is where the knockout comes in handy. Each team has two chances so it's quite a decent rule. Liverpool captured the control of the game especially in the second half. But they still won by a score like 1-0 eventually. I won't be criticizing Liverpool for this score too much because the opponent was really tough and the most important thing was to win this game in the end.
West ham should have won the game in the first half but they wasted their chances on numerous occasions. When you're playing against a team like Liverpool, you don't waste chances if not you will regret and that's what has happened to west ham today. They weren't playing bad for them to lose the game but Liverpool were just better than them in putting the ball at the back of the net. Matches as tough as this and yet Liverpool emerges victories goes to show how determined they're in keeping the pressure on Manchester City for the title race. Mo Salah was flat in this game which resulted in him getting substituted. Mane was the player that won them this game which goes to show how vital he's in the Liverpool team. Burnley vs Chelsea 0-4 and the second and third quick goals were scored by Kai Havertz in the 52nd, 55th minute and I think for sure Chelsea will get full points, and there are still many chances to score again for Chelsea because there is still a lot of time until the game end.

Well when we were playing tougher opponent they weren't so it's our turn to enjoy the game. Burnley weren't an easy opponent just that Chelsea were superior. We didn't have the game settled in the first half as alot of time it seems Burnley were going to score but they couldn't due to our strong defense. We could have easily scored more goal bit four would do. I was shouting for the introduction of Lukaku after the third goal, we need him playing so he can boost his confidence because when Lukaku is inform we could be another team all together. Today the impact of James was felt and he did brilliantly. We truely missed his contribution to the team. |

Before the unfortunate news of Chelsea been up for sale I was confident of the club keeping Azpilicueta and Rudiger in the club but now that we're losing our owner, I don't think this deal can still be done. We mightn't be losing only the three you mentioned but some other big names might be leaving in the summer as well. We have players that haven't enjoyed the style of Thomas Tuchel Rudiger isn't among this players so I don't support the reason behind the recent uncertainty of his Chelsea career. Without Thomas Tuchel, no body would had known who Rudiger was and as for Azpilicueta, I know he need more playing time so as to participate in what would be his last international career football (world cup) but him leaving Chelsea now wouldn't give him that club legend sent off. He can still get playing time he just need to negotiate that and stay at the club, if we can keep giving Tiago silver more years why can't we give him as well. |

I think that Bayern Munich and Liverpool are already one of the qualifiers for the quarter finals now. I remember that Bayern Munich had a really big difficulty in getting a draw against Salzburg in the first leg. But this shouldn't be misleading at the same time. Because there is a huge power difference between these teams. And in Allianz Arena, I'm sure that Bayern Munich will prove my words right. And Liverpool already sealed the deal in Giuseppe Meazza by 2-0. There is no way they are losing in Anfield.
