You tell some fantastic stories. Real Madrid turned out to be stronger than the top 3 of the Premier League last season (City, Liverpool, Chelsea) in the face-to-face confrontation, and are you talking about some kind of luck? It's not even serious. You must admit that you are biased,

Seems you're forgetting that last two seasons which Chelsea was crowned the champions of Europe, they defeated teams like Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid on their way to the finals which are also power house of La Liga side without having to rely on comebacks. The games you're talking about, Real Madrid weren't even the better side. Their game against Chelsea, didn't Chelsea score them 3:0 with some minutes to go before they managed to get 2 goals back then progress due to their away goals at earlier outing. In those games Real Madrid never were the favorites, Manchester city destroyed them in 90mins and a quick comeback sent Real Madrid to the finals.

I'm never doubting the brilliance of Real Madrid but they are never the favorite to win games. They capitalized on mistakes that their opponents make and plays their whole game as undergoes and never the dominate side. That's the reason those bookmakers given them those kind of rating irrespective of their wins.
2162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 07, 2022, 06:55:43 PM
Chelsea might be likely to lose Nkunku to Real Madrid now. Because there is some new update such as Real Madrid have started to monitor his condition also. It is claimed that this interest might have an affect on Nkunku to change his mind. Chelsea were actually really close to signing a deal with him. They were trying to agree personal terms as early as possible to finish the transfer next summer. But it looks like their job will be quite hard from now on.

If Chelsea doesn't get Nkunku that's all their fault, they made him so relevant even after the windows were close. They could have done this deal in silence and surprised everyone when they sign him but no the new owners wants media attention so they leak information of negotiations ongoing to sign him and now the whole world wants him. Chelsea are yet to understand that their name isn't as big as they think, any player they're after can always change their mind if offers come from the heavyweights like Real Madrid, Barcelona and the rest.

Chelsea also aren't doing that well to attract players that are in media spotlights. Let them not forget that they're likely to lose the champions league slots for next season if they keep playing poorly as they're doing. Todd Boehly need to also step away from the negotiation table of signing new players and get someone who knows what he's doing. Chelsea had over $200m last season and they wasted all signing  players that aren't having any effect on the team. Chelsea is currently sitting at the 7th position which is very bad.
2163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 07, 2022, 06:43:31 PM
Yes, congratulations to Arsenal. I think chelsea can draw the game. Chelsea could not take advantage of the support of the fans. Although they had a chance Chelsea could not make a goal.

The coach got the formation wrong and that's what cause us the game, Kai Havertz shoudn't have started this game and neither should he had lasted to the minute which he was sub off. He dull our game and didn't have the speed needed for the game. Our attack should have been Aubameyang, Broja and Pulisic while midfield consist is Mount, Kovačić and Gallagher. We didn't have the force to attack the Arsenal defense and gave them enough space to keep us defending. The back four was decent and the goal wasn't that great bit it gave them the win so that's fair.

The likes of Havertz should have come from the bench and Aubameyang shouldn't have been taken off, immediately he left the pitch Chelsea became clueless. I understand he didn't have much impact on the game but that was because he wasn't been feed the ball. In situations like this you bring on a player that'll bring Aubameyang into the game instead of taking him off. I blame this loss on the coach as he didn't just know what he was doing yesterday.
2164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 07, 2022, 06:28:38 PM
Bayern's chances look fair. But what the fuck is this about Real Madrid again? Last season, Real Madrid was an underdog in every pair, but now, even against the crisis Liverpool, they are underdogs again. Am I wrong or does it smell like shit?

Last season did Real Madrid play like they were going anywhere, they got lucky multiple times then use their experience to their advantage at the finals. Real Madrid road to the finals was just dependent on comebacks and didn't dominate any game they played convincingly in the knockout stages. Liverpool on the other hand is a premier league team and they're always favorites to win games but get unlucky sometimes and that's what knock them out of the competition. Look at the current teams in the round of 16, I think only the England side has all teams still in the competition and that's to show how dominate the league has been in the competition.

In regards to the draw, I think Chelsea had a fair draw. Dortmund vs Chelsea is going to be a game many won't be able to predict who wins but as usual I'll always give my support to my team. Hopefully when the games kicks off, we'll have the likes of Kante and Reece James fits so we won't have any excuse and be able to play at our best and progress to the next stage.
2165  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: November 07, 2022, 06:15:41 PM
What are the direct effect of the Naira with Bitcoin as the Naira has been devalued drastically?

Nigerian Naira is Drastically Devalued and news came that it is because of the redesigning of the Naira by CBN and those who had stored a lot of money in their houses are depositing the money in the bank and transfering or converting it to dollar for safety.
Will the devaluation of the Naira have bad effect in the Bitcoin exchange market?

So here's my thought, for the past 1 year I never use my Naira buy Bitcoin or USDT mainly because e dun too cost to buy (asin the exchange rate) and na only sellers dey benefits. I mean to get just common $1.5k na like 1 million plus person go dey spend oh. This massive increase in exchange rate fit dun discourage people from wanting to invest new Naira into the market and this fit be one of reason the trading volume for Nigeria dey decrease. The bear market also follow but the fact say more money is leaving the market than those coming in also get e impact.

Wetin I dey try talk be say, with increase of a currency, e dey normally encourage selling instead of buying so the more the naira dey increase the more e dey encourage people to cash out instead of buying with the hope of rebuying when market crash. This one come mean say new money no dey enter the market and the average trader dey find am hard to buy into the market due to too much increase in exchange rate. Na the only negative effect I dey see be this.

Nigeria govt wan train 30k+ pipo in Blockchain

I no kno if dis news na real wan. 4from weti I read, dem say, naija govt wan train over 30,000
dis na di early sign 4 Bitcoin adoption in di country.

Report: Over 30,000 Nigerians to Learn About Blockchain From Government Agency

This story go be legit based on say na that website dey talk am, dey are known for giving out legit news and na big welcome development be this as we, having an early edge in the industry can help the Nigeria economy in the future. We have many smart young individuals but dem not having access to education as this has always been the problem. Blockchain is going to be a life changing technology and other countries knows this that's why they're giving it a second thought and if Nigeria was to allow her citizen to get equipped with this knowledge, it'll be the best gift they can ever give to us aside eradicating corruption.

Do understand say blockchain technology can be adopted without adopting Bitcoin as a currency. The blockchain industry had gone beyond just Bitcoin as we have different sectors that it can now be utilized in. Bitcoin make it hard for government to control your finances so chances are they would likely not recognize it and make theirs like the Enaira but it can never be as decentralized as Bitcoin although they can adoption the blockchain technology and make good use of this technology.

I mentioned this a few weeks ago, but no one took it seriously. I'm not surprised that my activities and other people's activities have dropped significantly in the past months, most likely due to a lack of quality or crypto related discussion here,

It makes no sense that their activity droped, they're the ones meant to bring all those topic to discussion instead of ignore the thread. If you no clean your house for morning then sweeping outside na waste of time. You don't expect the new ones to talk about something they aren't that fluent in. The old users are the ones that are meant to make them pick interest in the discussion. I bring those topics each time I come across them but it gets less attention because the new users are the active ones and they enjoy the political discussion ongoing as it's easier to respond to since we can all relate to them.

If we want Bitcoin discussion to become the main focus of the thread (which it should be) then we should all develop the habit of starting one or contribution to the ones been started. My people say, No leave your house to your children to handle matters when you still dey alive if not then go use new school destroy everything wey you dun build. Instead hold their hand make dem observe as you dey handle things as dem dey come so them go learn. As for the controlling of generic topic, what do we do about that, what's the likely solution to combat some virus infecting our beloved baord.

Ps: Make una no forget to vote for this Igehhh thread, Are you in support of Nigeria local board creation? I just dey see that poll for the top.

Chelsea vs Arsenal match will be really enjoyable. Both the teams are now playing great football, the confidence of all the players in their teams is now growing more than ever. Both teams will play their best to win. Best wishes to both the teams.

When it comes to great football, currently Chelsea aren't closed to arsenal form and that reflects on the table as Arsenal are currently sitting at the first position while Chelsea is struggling to get into the top 4. If the match will be played based on form then Chelsea are no match to arsenal but thankfully, rivalry likes this don't depend on the form of the players but which clubs wants the point more. I think this is going to be the most entertaining football for this match week as both clubs will come all out for the game because they both need the point.

It'll be disappointing for the match to end in a draw which I doubt it'll end that way but as for goals, we'll be getting that enough in the games as there's never a dull moment when this two sides met. Either Arsenal destroy Chelsea or Chelsea destroys Arsenal hope for a tittle challenge this season as if arsenal was to lose then it's goodbye to catching Manchester city as the advantage would be lost and now they'll chasing but nobody catches Manchester city, they should go ask Liverpool fans as they have been second best multiple times.

So Gerard Pique announced officially that he will retire this weekend after Barcelona - Almeria match at the age of 35. I might not understand it well what he meant by the last game in Camp Nou since Barcelona will have another game Tuesday tho away but whatever the exact date, he decided to take a break as a professional player.
Source

One thing I love about Barcelona players is the love they have for the club, the premier league clubs has subconsciously trained their players to be after the money and stats while La Liga side plays for the love of the game. Reports has it that Gerard Piqué has reportedly given up around €30M that Barcelona owed him! Which player can do such in the premier league? Gerard pique did have a wonderful career at Barcelona and internationally that many players will die for, during his time playing, he won 36 trophies in 615 appearances.

Gerard Piqué's titles at Barça:
8️⃣ La Liga
7️⃣ Copa del Rey
3️⃣ Champions League
3️⃣ UEFA Super Cup
3️⃣ FIFA Club World Cup

Our people go read better thread weh you start and throw eye go another side, that is if them no even go there to drag you. But if na other people open am you go see them rushing to show love.

A typical Nigerians looks for validation from the whites because we have been trained to see them as superior and better than us. Its been encrypted into our memories that nothing good can come out of a black community as such we tend to unconsciously favor the foreigners over our own but on the other hand, this is a forum that's different from the general world. Your hard work does pay off here so instead of our people looking for handout, put head for ground hustle and when you blow outside, na your people go even they beg for your attention instead of you begging for theirs.

No take correction as attack although I believe we should be less aggressive toward one another even though na wetin the forum dey understand better, show love to each other, correct with love as we all were ones newbies before we reach were we dey today. Na small small things go fall in place. If person write you wetin you no like, no feel intimidated, questions am.

Where SatoPrinces?
My people, I greet una abeg I notice say satoprincess have not been online since 27th of last month, and you know as that user dey active before for the forum. Please anyone close to Satoprincess should please put call through and check on that user.

She dey active now as I just see her comment for one thread wey I just comment finish. And also she was recently accepted in one of the well paying campaign so I doubt she's having any challenges maybe just took a day or two to rest. Anyways I also noticed her reduced engagement on the local thread but you no fit blame her. When he needed our help, we couldn't come to her rescue and If she's taking some time off the board no hard feelings, I would had done the same as well if people I called my own couldn't trust me to help push for an assistant I needed.

I understand we all are hustlers here because if country been better I doubt many of us for dey here. The forum is very time consuming and not to talk of all the headache and eye problem wey follow for been constantly on your phone/laptop screen. Anyways I love the concern showed here. We should keep it up and check up on one another aways, depression dey everywhere and people are passing through alot. I hope we all come out stronger & successful one day to look back at this times and smile.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte was reportedly impressed by Kanté's performance and agreed to sign him on a free transfer this summer. Injured Kante is no longer available so why is Conte queuing up for him? As Kanté is prone to injury, perhaps he is the solution to Spurs' trophy quest!

Kante has won a trophy with every premier league club he has played with and even won the world cup with his french national team, who knows maybe he has goodluck and could bring an end to Tottenham trophy draft run to win a trophy with them. Conte is a builder and his decision shouldn't be questioned as he knows what's best for the club, just hand him everything that he needs and he'll deliver. Conte would want to cement his legacy as the coach that ended the trophyless run of Tottenham so I trust the next transfer window, he'll wants players that can help with that. Kante isn't a finished player, he's still valuable than most defensive midfielders in the game.

Quote
Barcelona and AC Milan are leading the race to sign Jorginho, who is out of contract at Chelsea in the summer.
Source: @Sport

I won't be surprised if Barcelona signs Jorginho'm at the end of this summer, I think he has had a good run at Chelsea and now needs to move on because we need more attacking midfielder at the club and those who can contribute to goals from open play instead of relying on dead balls to get in the score sheet. I love jorginho but he isn't quick enough for Chelsea pattern of play.
