For me Real Madrid, Manchester City, PSG and Liverpool are strong enough for having title this year because these all are doing good job and have good experienced players as well.
Liverpool shoudn't be in that conversation, they aren't even the first in their group and have been on some bad form this season. Mo Salah is a shadow of himself as this is probably his worst season so far since he came into the spotlight especially as a Liverpool player. Chelsea should be substituted for Liverpool as although they aren't that convincing strong contenders but they can pull a shocker as they usually do when they have won this competition. Liverpool plays group leaders Napoli tomorrow and Napoli has an advantage over them, firstly they're ahead in the head to head games between both clubs and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen is on a form of his life scoring goals back to back. Napoli wins that game tomorrow and Liverpool comes second in their group which would definitely harden their title challenge as they play other group leaders. Frankly speaking, I thought Liverpool would be out of the tournament by now so they can focused on the premier league and try to get something from there this season because hey have no shot at the champions league this season. The girls for hard fight. They deserve some accolades and not condemnation. We should bury the hatchet and let bygones be bygones - with the coach, the goalkeeper and the players. They are the third best in 2022 and will undoubtedly compete to win the title in 2024. Did you know that this is the first international female U-17 LADIES Medal for Nigeria? My greatest desire for the girls is that their careers take flight and do not become stagnated or dead.
But no body talks about the second, not even the third so why should we be celebrating them. They lost their chance to fight for the title and cement their name in history, the spanish side has showed once again their dominance in football in general as the woman won the title. Also if you watched the game Nigeria played against Germany you'll noticed how badly we defended and couldn't secure our lead, giving the Germany side an opportunity to crawl back into the game by equalizing making it 3:3. We were leading 3:0 at the 70+ mins and couldn't secured that lead. The defender let in 3 goals within 20 mins which lead to the penalty shoot out. Big thanks to the Nigerian goalie as she saved the day. Kudos to the German side as the put in some impressive football within those 20mins and scored some impressive goals. Seems it was Nigeria that was destined to win this game as normally you'll think after such impressive comeback by the German side, that they'll go on to win since they had the momentum on their side but again the Nigerian goalie has to be praised for her effort, she singlehandedly won Nigeria that game. |

The competition in Group D is still very tight, Tottenham, Sporting, Frankfurt and Marseille still have a chance to qualify for the knockout phase because their points are still very changeable in their last match.
Tottenham are always a disgrace to the English side in the champions league, they had the easiest of the group and you would think they will dominate the group easily but yet they haven't secured themselves in the next round of the competition. I would be expecting them to defeat Marseille as they have been very poor in their last 5 games. Tottenham won them in the first leg so this should be easy. Marseille should exit the champions league quietly and focus on their local league if they won't to participate in the champions league next season. Tottenham hasn't been doing so well lately but considering they understand that their chances of topping the groups depends on how determined they'll be against the Marseille side in the upcoming game then I believe they should convincingly win as they did in the first leg with two or more goals. |

I think they deserve what they got, the coach was too ambitious and lack the experience to lead such a prestigious club. There are speculations already going round that PSG are prepared to offer Messi a new contract to extend his time in Paris which to me is fair enough atleast for his immense contribution to the growth and success of the team and the club. I don't see Son succeeding in Real Madrid. His advisers should tell him to avoid Real Madrid. Son will not have good playing time in Real Madrid and he will possibly be like Hazard in Real Madrid. The kind of players Real Madrid want is a standing striker like Haaland, not people like Son.
Real Madrid has great young forward like Vinicius, Rodrygo and Valverde. I don't think that they need Son to add to this group.
Hazard isn't having a good career at Madrid is because he doesn't fit the Madrid style of play and also because of his injury crisis. All the tackles he suffered while he was at Chelsea is now coming back to hurt him. Then it seem he was indestructible but little did we know he wasn't. Also Hazard was the go to man at Chelsea but at Madrid, he's just like everyone else and nobody cares. Son on the only hand will fir into the Madrid system since he's fast both on and off the ball. Madrid is known for counter attack football and that's son's specialties. He'll do just fine at Real Madrid and might even beach those players you think are better option than him currently at Real Madrid. Son has been excellent at Tottenham and I think it's high time he moves on to greater challenges, the la Liga side won't be bad. |

Initially was amongst the crowd who underestimated the potentials of Graham Potter, his tactics and everything bout him also handling the Chelsea Job. He used to be a silent tactical tactician who does what he knows best on a low. Good to turnaround as he was able to take Chelsea to the top standing in that group, is there anything better Chelsea fans would ask for ?
He was bad at managing players, he might have been a good coach but immediately he started losing the dressing room, he didn't have the capacity to win it back and this was among the reason for his two recent sack. How can you be losing and yet you're still playing the same players game in, game out. Take a look at Potter, he's winning yet he keeps rotating the squad and that why everybody is happy. With Tuchel he was just playing the same players which resulting to the locker room been divided and players wanted him gone. Chelsea played well yesterday and deserve their victory, Kai Havertz goal was beautiful but did you see the build up play to that goal? That's what is called football and that's how Brighton played under potter. Chelsea are just getting started and I won't be surprised if Chelsea goes on to win the champions league. I understand we aren't favorite but so are the other times we have won it. We don't have to be favorites to win it again. |
