Afghanistan register their first success over Bangladesh following the 3 ODI series, however Bangladesh already secure the series by 2-1. Afghanistan chase down the Bangladesh low total without much trouble with 59 balls remaining. The batters of Afghanistan executed by excellent way, especially Rahmanullah Gurbaz who made a brilliant century.
I was not expecting Afghanistan to win a single match but good to hear that they won at last. I think the Bangladesh side got overconfident with the last match otherwise they wouldn't have scored such a low score. Winning by 7 wickets is a big win and Bangladesh may now face some tough competition in the upcoming T20 series from Afghanistan. |

New Zealand struggling at 227/9 and South Africa is just one wicket away from a famous victory. However there is some rain interruption going on and the play has been stopped. Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen have picked up three wickets each till now, while Keshav Maharaj got the wickets of Henry Nicholls and Daryl Mitchell. Devon Conway was the only New Zealand batsmen who offered some resistance, but even he missed a century and got out for 92. From what I heard, it is just a passing shower and the play may resume shortly.
South Africa won by 198 runs in the second test match tieing the series 1-1. Elgar decision of batting first helped the South African side in defeating Newzealand. I am sure the Newzealand side never expected such a defeat. Good comeback by South Africa. |

Sanju Samson promoted above the order still, he was not able to perform as thought seeing his performance in the second T20 match. Shreyas Iyer again trying to deliver what has been excepted from him. I am pretty much sure India will be able to win this match and this series will be again a whitewash. Shreyas Iyer was consistent throughout this tournament and he is yet to be dismissed in this series with 57 not out followed by 74 not out and today 73 not out and he is the sole player who took the game away from Sri Lanka in all of the three matches. Sanju Samson was promoted today as an opener and yet he was not able to deliver and he needs to focus on consistency if he wants a chance again as the competition is really tough. Yes, it was Shreyas who have made the series a big win for India. Back to back performance in a much consistent and with more confidence shows his ability. I expect similar level of performance when playing abroad. The biggest thing with Indian players, used to perform well at the home ground and exact opposite scenario happens playing abroad. Sanju Samson have been getting good opportunity and he needs to make use of it. At times he looks like an IPL player who shows his ability only in IPL matches. Sri Lanka is being whitewashed. It was an easy chase for India after another masterclass from Shreyas Iyer. His hat-trick of fifty-plus scores and his contributions to winning causes make him an outstanding batsman. It is hoped that he will continue to perform well on overseas trips and during the T20 World Cup this year. India is in great shape for the T20 WC. Regarding Sanju Samson, I highly doubt if he will get another opportunity to play. I never had the doubt that this T20 series would be a whitewash. Indian team has been performing exceptionally well under the captainship of Rohit Sharma. Not to forget some consistent and agressive batting from Shreyas Iyer too. Ravindra Jadeja has gained his lost form and Ishan Kishan also proved why he is now the highest paid player in IPL. Next ODI series with Srilanka and I hope that the India team performs in the same manner. |

India are looking series whitewash against Sri Lanka. While Sri Lanka need a single win in the third T20I match against India. Sri Lanka choose to bat first yet, batting collapse led them a tiny total on the board. I've figured most obvious opportunity for SL to win today, as Indian side going without a batsmen short. Sri Lankan players and rotation is hilarious, i think they don't have perfect team.

South Africa VS New zealand
South Africa had a good chance to win this match by dominating. But they missed the opportunity. Colin de Grandhomme and Mitchell helped New Zealand score 293 runs. Which is a good enough collection. I thought New Zealand might lose all their wickets before 250.
After the third day, South Africa collected 140 runs, they lost 5 wickets. My guess is that they will lose all their wickets in the first session of the next day and collect around 200-220. South Africa cannot win if they give less than 300 targets. I am still optimistic about New Zealand's victory.
South Africa had ideal start of the match but they failed to take advantage in second innings. At the end of day 3 South Afrcia had lead of 211 runs and 5 wickets left. Kyle Verreynne and Mulder are on the crease for a while now and they must try to give target of 350 to NZ. Anything under 300 will made NZ favorite for this game. I am sure the South African side are looking for a score above the 300 mark not 350. They have already lost 5 wickets which now makes it very difficult to reach 350, they already have a lead of 211 runs and as tail enders bat 300 will be target they would like to get on the score board. Newzealand team has made a good come back and thier aim would be to get the South African team out in the first session tomorrow. |

183 was a good competitive score but poor fielding and lame bowling by the Srilankan side resulted in the loss. Sanju Samson was very agressive yesterday and I think he was a bit unlucky with his dismissal. He and Iyer could have easily ended the match if he was not caught behind. Jadeja is a good player and in my opinion he should not be moved up as India needs players like him down the order. Series won by the Indian side now expecting a complete whitewash.
The Indian bowling was not impressive and this helped the Lankan side. The captaincy tactics were also poor from the Indian side. Venkatesh Iyer picked up 2 wickets in the previous match, but he wasn't even given an opportunity to bowl this time. And this happened despite some of the main bowlers leaking over 50 runs in their allotted 4 overs. The problem here is that Venkatesh is being hailed as a replacement for Hardik Pandya, and no matter who is the captain, Pandya will make sure that no such replacement realizes in the Indian team. Rohit Sharma gave an opportunity to Hasham Patel in place of Venkatesh Iyer in this match. It didn't work well as he was the costliest of all ballers. He took only one wicket but gave away 53 runs in a spell of 4 overs. Vekatesh Iyer also was the costliest of all ballers in the 1st T20 match. He gave away 36 runs in his spell of 3 overs but took 2 wickets. Both bowlers have similar economy rate the exception is wickets. |

New Zealand have managed to withstand the situation with the performance of Colin de Grandhomme and daryl mitchell. If one of the wicket falls, South Africa will try to end the innings within 200. The interesting thing, Colin de Grandhomme have scored the 54 runs in 61 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes. I think he's playing to make a better score before losing his wicket.
Colin de Grandhomme is playing like he is playing a ODI with a higher strike rate and Daryl Mitchell is playing a good supporting role and now they have reduced the deficiency to less than 151 runs, i did not expect this performance in the 6th wicket but now they are counter attacking and South Africa has to come up with something to break this partnership, if not New Zealand will run away with this match. South Africa leads by 105 runs but has lost two wickets already. I think they will add another 200 plus runs to the existing lead which will not be easy for the Newzealand side to chase. Grandhomme score 120 runs and because of him Newzealand were able to score 293 runs. |

Jadeja is also a suitable player for the 6/7 position. The team relies on Jadeja if the top-order players fail. And Jadeja is an enought experienced player. I think Jadeja's fifth position in T0 format is appropriate. He will have the opportunity to prove his worth. However, the position of 6/7 in ODI format is suitable for him I still think that the team is not using the full potential of Ravindra Jadeja, the way in which he batted today against Sri Lanka took the pressure off from Shreyas Iyer and he should be promoted in situation like these and till now he has not performed to his full potential in Test matches because he is a much better player in the longer version as well according to his domestic record. I did not expect a late cameo from Dasun Shanaka to take Sri Lanka to 183 runs and after seeing that i expected they had a chance to win the match but India was too good for them even with a huge total. 183 was a good competitive score but poor fielding and lame bowling by the Srilankan side resulted in the loss. The second T20 match will be played today between these two teams. Last match was dominated by the Indian side especially the way Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer batted in that match. I won't be surprised if these two batter repeat the same performance in this match two. Except Asalanka all other batter in the Srilankan side were struggling. I hope they do something different this time.

After such a stellar performance in the first test, New Zealand seems to be struggling in the second. Batting first, South Africa made a massive total of 364, thanks to the century from Sarel Erwee. None of the other batsmen were able to make a half century. And New Zealand immediately lost both their opening batsmen (Tom Latham and Will Young) when they came to bat. Now the responsibility is up to Devon Conway and Henry Nicholls to stabilize the innings and take New Zealand to a comfortable position.
Devon Conway also gone and responsibility is now on Henry Nicholls and Daryl Mitchell. New Zealand still need 300 more runs to level South Africa first innings runs. Good bowling by Rabada as he quickly bowled out both openers. From betting prespective I can say South Africa are now favorite for winning this game. 3 wickets for just 79 runs. Something went really wrong this time for the Newzealand side. Latham out for a duck and Young for just three runs. Nicholls and Mithchell have the ability to take them out of this situation. If these two also get out then Newzealand will be in deep trouble. |

What a brilliant hundred from Liton Das.He has scored 102 runs off 108 balls. Great batting. Bangladesh's collection is now 241/2. Bangladesh will not be defeated in this match. On such a pitch in Chittagong, it became difficult to win against 280 runs. Bangladesh's bowlers are in good form now. They also bowled well in the first match. If Liton and Mushfiqur are not out, Bangladesh will collect more than 300 today. Bangladesh will still play 8 more overs.

Second test match between South Africa and New Zealand is underway. South Africa made a good start after facing a big defeat in first test match. Two sessions of the first day are almost complete and South Africa are nicely placed at 163 and just one wicket lost. Openers made a good start of 111 runs partnership, Sarel Erwee is not out on 100. No one is expecting such performance from South Africa.
Yes, it is a good stat for South Africa thanks to the top 3 batters they have scored 238 for the lost of 3 wickets. Van de dussen and Bhavuma are batting at the moment. If these guys lose their wicket then it will be a struggle for the South African batters. I am expecting a score of more than 300 runs by the end of day one. |

India vs Sri lanka
After a long time we saw a perfect T20 match from the Indian players. Basically the top order batsmen have played well so India's performance has been good. Batting first, India set a target of 200 runs. Opener Rohit Sharma scored 44 and Kishan 89 runs. Iyer also made 57 off just 28 balls. The batsmen played well and the bowlers performed well. Sri Lanka collected only 136 runs in 20 overs. India won the match by 62 runs.
This is why Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer are the highest paid player in IPL. They timing these two batters have is impeccable. I guess Srilanka chose to ball first because they wanted to utilise the dew factor but that did not go well with them. Two more matches left in this series. I guess this series will be also whitewashed by the Indian side. |

Who do you think will win the first match? India has played brilliantly after Rohit Sharma took over as the captain of T20 side. The moral of Indian team is pretty high at the moment. They are also ranked as the number one team in ICC-T20 ranking. I am confident that they will the series considering the past performance of the Srilankan side but I am not confident to say that the series will be a whitewash their. What do you guys think?

Global stock markets are down and so do Bitcoin. This is not the first time that such incident has occur. In the end whenever people panic due to an ongoing situation globally the market get crashed. I have read in the past here that Bitcoin price never gets affected due to the outside world which I agree to some extent but in this situation the dumping the market is directly impacted because of the ongoing war.
