{bolbau, legend378}
{LBX, hamade}

The above have been tagged for obvious reasons (i.e. time between merit tx's).

misteid, mohamed reda and big.pharaoh have all only received merit. The last one was kind of difficult since all the posts were deleted but if you start tagging the receiving user in merit spam, then you open up access for scammers to falsely link themselves with regular users.
Good find.
3122  Other / Meta / Re: User name change.. on: June 02, 2018, 02:19:23 AM
Hello everyone,

There is any way to change the username of account.
Because my old account has been banned, So I just created this account to continue with this forum. I mistakenly have chosen this username, So I want to change this. There is any procedure to change the username.
Once you created a username and registered,it will never change forever. If you don't want that present username, much better if you create another one account, forget that one.
Seems like you don't understand the fact that they want to change it to their old username, that they're on a new account, and that they're banned Roll Eyes

You are breaking them now. You are ban evading. Roll Eyes
And then this golden post comes along:

Example of a merit whore. Wink
Ah, yes. I scrounge around for merit pitifully because I need to rank up. Where would I be without my precious merits? Cry

(I don't see how I'm whoring out for merits that I won't get. You should at least take some time to prove your identity Wink)
We should do this with PGP, in my opinion. It's good to get people to start encrypting their messages, no?
3124  Economy / Reputation / Re: Sign a Staked BTC Address - Get a Merit on: June 01, 2018, 11:28:46 PM
Not worth the effort to find my legacy addy private key, import it on my wallet just to sign a message for 1 merit. you have no idea how hard it was to sign the above message. besides I am not going to use legacy addresses anymore. segwit from now on. Wink

Doing this so I won't have to later:

I hope you've ignored the user. I don't think it would be good to continue to let him pester you, especially considering the number of negative tags on his account.

For clarity -  if anyone had doubts whether his slanders are true or not, I would like to present an archive of our messages
There's no sense in letting his negs bother you. It's just their butthurt way of wasting time and having a fit.
3127  Other / Meta / Re: These boards require additional moderators on: June 01, 2018, 10:05:34 PM
If admin remove bounties he does an economical suicide, a competitor will born and 90% of traffic will move and yes for sure the quality of the forum will increase a lot.
Just ignore the section if you don't have the need to be part of it.
Oh, of course. If we're talking strictly about spam concentrated in the board. But bounties, among other things, cause people who wear signatures to spam their bs all over the forum.

Notice: Bitcoin Discussion, Economics, Trading Discussion, etc. are all filled to the brim with meaningless discussion about the most general shit that anyone can whip up a quick 100-word redundant paragraph in a minute.

We don't need any more 10-page threads about "ok the price is now n and it should be m, but maybe it will fall to p. i believe bitcoin the technology will go up and go to m though"
3128  Other / Meta / Re: UserLog request, same as ModLog but for user activity+more ideas. BOT PROOF VIDeo on: June 01, 2018, 08:15:37 PM
This is going to be fun if bots aren't updated yet Cheesy Look here for example, posts are piling up. I'm very eager to see what it looks like in a few hours!
I anticipate that one way users will try to circumvent this is by editing the posts now instead: rather than deleting posts themselves, the bots can edit the posts to contain reportable garbage (i.e. single letter, whitespace characters, etc.) and have some other account report the posts.

Provided that a moderator looks at it within 24-hours (someone would probably test to see the staff activity of the section) this allows for deletion (albeit much slower than before).
This does give us some more to work with if we consider the report and post history of Newbies (if those are the accounts they're using) since you could potentially nuke them as well but it seems like it would be a lot of work.

Implementing the captcha might not work if someone simply uses a captcha-solver.
3129  Other / Archival / Re: Marlboroza is abusing DT power! on: June 01, 2018, 08:05:57 PM
Suchmoon said that he is feeling charitable, which I don't know what he meant by that, maybe he was trying to donate money I assume? therefore I said that he should think about his children first, they come first.
whoosh

Souls must be fed. Wait, no... that's not right. What is it again?
3130  Other / Archival / Re: Abuse of DT power by actmyname! on: June 01, 2018, 08:02:06 PM
Actmyname probably isn't stupid
I think he is to be honest fam
This coming from the guy that didn't bother to read the rules, broke the rules, and now complains constantly because he got tagged for breaking the rules. Lol.
No, that's where you're wrong, "fam". I very much think of myself as stupid. If you don't at least think of yourself as unintelligent and lacking in knowledge, then your overconfidence and hubris will surely lead to an unfulfilling time.

But compared to xSplit, I don't think I'm very stupid. Wink
3131  Other / Meta / Re: Bunned ihnattm. on: June 01, 2018, 07:56:46 PM
Because it is one mistake for 1200 msgs. We are all humans. Do you have not a single mistake for your 2700 messages ? Just be honest
Doesn't matter if they've made "mistakes". They haven't plagiarized.

Take a look at my post count. I have almost 3x the posts of ihnattm. Have I gotten posts deleted before? Fuck yeah! In fact, here's one of them:

Quote
shut the fuck up

But the fact of the matter is that my deleted posts, my mistakes were never anything severe like plagiarism. It's probable that most users have had at least one deleted post in their BCT lifetime. Not only that but IIRC Lauda even admitted to being temp-banned for spam. And I shitpost sometimes, sure.

But we don't plagiarize.
3132  Other / Meta / Re: Bunned ihnattm. on: June 01, 2018, 07:41:54 PM
Plagiarism is a glaring mistake, but people always make mistakes.
I'm surprised at such fairness but I think the most important thing is that a person recognizes his mistake and asks people to forgive him.
The mistake should have been recognized when the user previewed their post (or looked at it afterward). If you're worried about "haste" and are posting too quickly/too much to even give it a look-over then you're also spamming. The punishment is warranted.

Surely, we don't post on the forum without looking over what we type, right?

1200 messages, eternal ban because of one mistake it's like something too much
Plenty of users with higher post counts have been banned.
3133  Other / Meta / Re: Bunned ihnattm. on: June 01, 2018, 07:27:07 PM
Eternal ban for one mistake? are you joking? Guys, do you want to say that none of you made any mistakes for the thousands of messages that were published? I do not believe in this even before the gun Undecided

Give the second chance to ihnattm
If you unban ihnattm you also have to unban the other hundreds of people who have plagiarized posts. And fuck yeah, these are the rules. Considering the fact that hundreds of thousands of members are still around who haven't been banned for plagiarism, I don't think that many have copied and pasted posts. Wink
3134  Other / Meta / Re: Bunned ihnattm. on: June 01, 2018, 05:38:04 PM
-snip-
What's the point of having rules if you are just going to allow them to be bent when someone apologizes for their actions after the fact? Unbanning you means creating a precedent for plagiarism, to which then every banned person will henceforth cite... and then there's really no point for the rule to be there anymore.
Making an error without specifying the original source because of haste
Haste? Roll Eyes
3135  Other / Meta / Re: Bunned ihnattm. on: June 01, 2018, 05:33:13 PM
Side note, it's not as long as you stick in Meta.*
*the Meta posts must be in a thread about your ban. It must be limited to discussion only about your ban, thus you can't participate in any other Meta discussions.

The exact quote:

Quote from: mprep
25. If you get banned (temporary or permanently) and create a new account to continue posting / sending PMs, it's considered ban evasion. The only exception is creating a thread in Meta about your ban.
3136  Other / Meta / Re: Bunned ihnattm. on: June 01, 2018, 04:57:39 PM
You are absolutely right. So I asked for forgiveness for the mistake, and pointed out that in the English branch I will no longer be.
I'm not so sure you understand. Plagiarism is a serious offence worldwide and a simple apology doesn't exactly acquit you of what you've done. Not only is this in the rules but I believe it's commonly taught internationally that it's a bad thing. (feel free to correct me on this)

Even if it's not explicitly explained, some minor critical thinking would lead you to believe that it's at best partially immoral. After all, if you put in time and effort into a product and someone copies it, do you think that deserves a non-negative response?
3137  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone played on betking.io?? looking for some recent reviews.. on: June 01, 2018, 04:52:26 PM
The site's been around for years but was re-released last year. dean's paid out hundreds of bitcoins on the old site before so there's some credence to his character.

I've never experienced any problems with the bets. Sometimes, the hot wallet may need to be filled but apart from that, depositing/withdrawing $1000's worth of coins has always went smoothly.
3138  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: No Bitcoin has ever been mined. on: June 01, 2018, 04:42:08 PM
The closest would be discovering an old wallet that you used for faucets in 2010.
But not everybody can do such a thing.
Buying old PC's and trying to crack into any wallets that exist there? That's kind of like the same thing albeit the chance of success is drastically lower in this case.
3139  Other / Meta / Re: Bunned ihnattm. on: June 01, 2018, 04:36:58 PM
How can I issue a post for my own, without knowing this language, did you think about it? This is absurd. How can I give out for my written in another language? Or you do not have enough knowledge of other languages to make sure that I do not have plagiarism in posts?
What relevance does knowledge of the language impart upon the consequences of rules? If you plagiarize in English, French, Klingon or Dothraki it doesn't matter since the intent is the same.

Without sourcing the work, you're conveying that the ideas are your own. The language doesn't affect that.
If you don't know enough English then perhaps the best thing to do is to not attempt to write it? Learn it before you start jumping into threads, maybe Smiley

Once I did trading can get so many times positive points? I mean for one thread one time money exchange can get 20 to 30 points from different people?
Positive trust can be posted multiple times. Does this mean that they're using the same thread? No. In fact, all of our negative trusts point to different references.

In the case of positive trust, would it be right to credit multiple positive feedbacks to an individual (from multiple users) with a single trade? No. However, in some cases, a user may have some a major thread where they're doing good for the forum (i.e. rizzlarolla, TwitchySeal) that could warrant positive trust.

Also, if you've had multiple positive interactions with a user, then you yourself could potentially give multiple positive trust ratings.
Remember that there's actually very little written down about what you can and can't do: there's only really guidelines.
