The Moderator needs to move this thread to the "alternate crypto currency" discussion.
Better still, the trash can.

Absolutely disgusting. Nothing more to say.

Let's all have a laugh and guess how long till someone 51% it into oblivion. I guess within 2 weeks.

So I'm guessing there will be an upper limit of 2,625,000 bytecoins, correct (i.e. 21 million divided by 8, since there are 8 bytes in a bit).
There are 8 bits in 1 byte.

Quick, have you heard? 1 + 1 = 2

Yeah, free bitcoins for all! Cheers Proud!
I doubt he has 100 coins left though. He sold them all when they were 'sky high at $10, ready to crash'.

I'm pretty sure if you're taking this thread seriously you're doing it wrong.
Well I know about the April fool thing. But I genuinely believe people are that stupid to start bytecoin. Which means the April fool has backfired.

An exact alt coin, No changes at all. Think of it as a bitcoin re-launch, a fresh start for those who started mining late.
Oh dear, someone's annoyed they missed the boat. Yeah, you can easy start a new block chain. Won't be worth nothing though. Value == zero. Epic fail. Oh dear, how much did bitcoin value when satoshi launched the genesis block? Sign.... It doesn't work like that. We don't want 2 blockchains on the go. Think of the confusion with addresses. You clearly haven't thought this through properly. What confusion are you talking about? You seemed to be very confused on how competing block chains work. Satoshi himself loved the idea of competing block chains and forks. Maria 2.0 Well lets enter this fictitious world where you've started a new blockchain and the new coins actually have some value. Now can someone send me coins to 1H31sodppAm4SqkYipRBxAa8w6Y4NT94KC What blockchain does that address relate to? The old one or the new one? I would hope she would at least change the address prefix. B and b both appear to be available: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/List_of_address_prefixesI raised this critical issue, but it appears of been brushed under the carpet. More interested in closing their eyes and dreaming about how wealthy they will become. Epic fail.

I'll buy one. Escrow only, of my choosing.
Well some hours have passed since my request to purchase their product. No reply. You'd think they would snap up new customers. Maybe it's the escrow part they don't like. LOL

Sorry folks, I'm pretty sure the top is finally in, and we're probably heading into long-slow-slide round 2. I hope everyone had fun. If the MtGox* exchange rate does exceed $100/BTC in 2013, then I'll give 1BTC each to the first two people to post in this thread who have a post count between 20 and 300.
*I'll count CoinLab too, if that ever becomes a thing
Edit: Congratulations to Kalinka and Crazy! Most likely you will not get anything.
Only the first two people proudhon? Doesn't sound like you have much confidence in your prediction. Make it the first 100 and we'll take you more seriously. LOL

Start a new block chain then. You can have it up and running in 10 minutes. Easy. You will need minimum 2 nodes to mine.
If you want to do it to learn about the network, c++ etc as a bit of fun then go for it. That's great.
But if you genuinely believe it will be worth anything. Then you need to have a serious chat with yourself.

can you do that on ebay?
Everything's negotiable.

Have fun being all alone on your new blockchain.
Satoshi was having fun all alone until I came around and started crunching numbers with him. Yet when challenged for proof of this claim, falls flat on his face. LOL You ain't no early mining adopter. Never heard such a load of flannel in all my life.

The more you research, the more you learn. Maria 2.0 Well yeah, I've just looked though some of your previous posts and you've been challenged to sign a message using a historic address. We are still waiting..... I can sign it but I don't feel like it... I will sign it with any message you want for 100 BTC. Interested? Maria. What's the address you have the private key to then?
