3121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 22, 2020, 10:40:10 AM
~snip~
Usually I follow this advise and take a few days off after losing, but in September and October I got too committed on my gambling and was not able to really stop. I kept trying to recover just to lose more in the end. It all started with being down $25 on the first week, after trying to recover I ended up losing another 60 bucks. And now after 4 weeks I am down $220. After such a loss I had to really step back, now I am just doing micro stakes dice games.
^ Probably the good decision is to stop for a while when you have to encounter successive defeats in one row. I did this before when I was playing dice, almost 35 losses streak in a row and I felt upset at that time but I control my ego not to follow my emotion. Fortunately, I decided to stop and refresh my mind watching tv while drinking cold beer. After a few hours, I decided to gamble back. Believe me or not, I recover 80% of my losses at that time because of that strategy.
3122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi benefiting Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2020, 10:50:35 PM
I think its 50/50 benefitted in both sides. However, with or without DeFi Bitcoin will remain as the largest cryptocurrency in the market. The trend and popularity will continuously spreading all around the world as many people are trusting it, unlike DeFi which has a new existence to people and I absolutely have doubts with their projects.
^ Every time when there is a project Defi hype there will be a purchase of bitcoin in the market since these Defi projects need to purchase ethereum or bitcoin to invest in Defi token projects. So, I think there could be a huge impact in bitcoin price not only bitcoin or the entire market that can able to use to invest Defi token/projects. Nevertheless, if the scam projects of Defi will continue, this also has a negative side effect to the bitcoin since they are not a bitcoin holder.
3123  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we ready for the ^POMP^ yet? on: October 21, 2020, 10:24:04 PM
^ https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-soars-to-12-9k-as-paypal-proves-crypto-is-ready-for-everyone
Is it party time or shall we wait a bit longer?
^ Nah is too early to celebrate and we expected to have a correction right after pumping. From what I have observed in the market, it will always have a dump after it will be pumped in the market. There are too many factors that bitcoin price will down this month and we do hope that the US presidential election did not have an effect on the crypto market. Because if you will ask about the stock market, it was now affected due to the near schedule of the US election. Nevertheless, I believe that bitcoin will hit $15k by the end of this year.
3124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the cheater bounty participants began to act again on: October 21, 2020, 10:08:11 PM
some people also said that because when I saw the telegram bounty group many complaints were made by participants because someone used their account.
I think this case will continue to happen if there is no way out.
yesterday I saw a bounty campaign like that, the google form was hit by a bot attack and did the input process quickly and used a random identity, so in my opinion some way out is to limit registration for those who want to participate in the bounty campaign.
^ This is not a new way of cheating bounty, even before this strategy of the cheating campaign has already existed. If you are a manager or co-assistant of the manager, you should know and aware of this. That is why most of the bounty managers as of now have a post-authentication for proof of joining the campaign even that is a telegram. Before, that is easy for them to fill up the form using other member's identity, but now it is difficult for them to abuse that kind of strategy.
3125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we back to the bull market? on: October 21, 2020, 09:56:28 PM
Ultimately I'd say we're in a bull market but I would expect some corrections ahead the US election will possibly sour markets as well as the global economy falling which might bring crypto down with it for a brief moment then we will ride!
^ Stock market was already starting down as you see but crypto market or bitcoin price did not have a sign of possible correlation to the current situation of the US, the upcoming US presidential election. I am not surprised because I am expected that this will happen after a short correction last week that was around the $10k range in the market. But still, we have to be careful of this, there is probably a chance that the price will drag down again due to the said reason for the upcoming election.
3126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price has surpassed $12k!!! on: October 21, 2020, 09:40:25 PM
At the moment price is close to 13000$. However, this doesn't need to mean anything and so far we've witnessed many times how fragile the price rise can be and how easy this can change. Although it's a positive movement it's yet to see if this growth will continue or is just temporary pump. Let's be patient for a while.
^ Anytime soon there will be changed but at least bitcoin was able to broke the $12k resistance. I also expected this and I did not surprise that the bitcoin price was able to reach on that level range. However, I am afraid of the pullback after the surged of bitcoin. This is also expected every time when there is a price surging in the market. Probably a small correction right after having the price pump for a while. Nevertheless, I was expected a more bullish trend until the end of this year and most especially next year.
3127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: October 21, 2020, 05:42:16 PM
Roulette is a luck based game I am afraid to say, like Dice or Slots, you will not see skills take any advantage here.
^ Definitely right, nothing more, nothing less.
It is all about based on luck game that the same on the dice, slot and it could lottery which is the chances of winning are so small compared to the based on skills game that required your skills to analyze leach game to have a better result who will win.
Based on luck games are usually you are fighting against the house edge. The highest amount of house edge the harder you will win and I think Roobet had 2% of house edge compared to others is %1 compared to others which is the lowest one is %1.
3128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 21, 2020, 05:27:42 PM
You are lucky that you recover your losses because it seldom happens that gamblers recover his losses when he comes back, it's not recommended to gamble beyond your means, we have read and heard a lot of stories about gamblers losing everything because of trying to chase his losses, the more you try the harder it gets.
^ Overall, that is not a good idea when chasing your losses in gambling. But OP was so lucky that he is able to recover his losses even though OP experienced almost lost everything. We could really predict what will the result of the risk that you were taken, it probably rekt your profit until it will be wiped out or you cannot recover your losses. All you have to do is guts to risk a fund that in 50/50 of situation, better to win or move on when you have lost.
3129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do hackers steal huge amounts of bitcoins? on: October 17, 2020, 11:48:55 PM
Everyone is eager of making money. Hackers are one step above, because all that necessary is the celebration. When a hacker successfully hacks and stole some data or some data he'll be with heavenly feeling. Based on my knowledge about hackers, they just focus on large volume of fund hacks to show their potential.

Hackers are highly passionate towards it, and go to any extent as they know how to stay anonymous. We may say it is possible to have track of the person, but this isn't happening with every hacker. One in ten gets tracked while the rest stay safe.
^ You are definitely right, they are always waiting to take advantage just to hack people for easy money. That is right, just for money and any valuable thing could be hot into the eyes of theft and hackers belongs to that group, a theft on the internet. But if we are careful enough of our bitcoin holding we did not afraid of hackers. Double our security and should have knowledge on how to keep safe our crypto-asset not to steal by them. They are everywhere waiting to have a victim, don't be their next victim and should secure your assets in a better place. Nevertheless, those who have hacked in crypto are lack of knowledge.
3130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When You trade Do You use VPN? on: October 17, 2020, 11:41:49 PM
I don't need a VPN for trading, because my country does not prohibit using cryptocurrency as a digital asset. My country only prohibits
using cryptocurrency for payments, so I can trade without using a VPN. But I have experimented with several exchanges to access using
free VPN, and it is true that most of exchanges have blocked our accounts and need KYC to unblock them. But there are a few exchanges
where it doesn't matter if we use a VPN.
^ Having a free VPN is not looking good, you probably have a problem in the future if you will continue using it. Probably it is good if you will experiment a small amount that willing to lose. We know that using a VPN  in most exchanges are not tolerated and allowed. Probably I will be considered a paid VPN for a better service. You can't find better service by using a free VPN. Nevertheless, you can read this for further details of using free VPN that probably hidden dangers. https://www.vpnmentor.com/blog/free-vpns-are-not-safe-to-use/
3131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Kell Brook vs Terence Crawford November 14 on: October 17, 2020, 11:33:34 PM
bro im gonna ask you why young boxer is always choose pacquiao than the other boxer?
^ Because Pacquaio had been proven his skills in a fighting match that shows his power that has the ability to knock down his opponent using his powerful punches. If you see the Cotto fight and him, you definitely believe his skills in fighting in the boxing ring. That's why many people want to see these two fighters in one boxing ring proving their selves as good fighters. Let us have a look at the facts of each fighter’s contrasting tools that they will bring to the ring if they were to meet. Nevertheless, let see this match of Kell Brook vs Terence Crawford on November 14, it almost there.
3132  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟 CoinCards - Online Poker,Play Poker With Bitcoin🔥 on: October 17, 2020, 11:09:48 PM
The site is very simple, social accounts can’t be read on my end and its not working good. Some information about this gambling is also missing on the site, the developer should listen to the experience of future user here.
^ Probably because they are not ready for launching and not prepared. Look at the OP, did not online after posting this thread. All questions should be answered by them and be active for a while here in the forum. Op should be responsible to do this task but he left after making this thread.
I will never use the site and make an account unless all my question has been answered by the above and also other's questions and opinion that they want clarification. Nevertheless, I can't give enough feedback and judgment so far.
3133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2020, 10:58:18 PM
Nonetheless, young people will be the ones that will truly embrace Bitcoin the most. That's largely because they easily adopt the latest technologies. As time goes by, the old generation will "pass out" paving the way for the new generation to take over the world. In the future, young people will become old but quite fond of crypto/Blockchain tech. Bitcoin will no longer be a secret or something unknown, as most people will know all about it. As long as we do our part in spreading the word about Bitcoin, adoption will come one way or another. Just my opinion Smiley
^ Because young people are most usually are into modernization. This means, all have gadgets and can enable them to understand any technical matter. So, anatomically speaking young people have always capable of understanding blockchain technology than the old generation, and probably from their condition, they will never have the interest to learn tech stuff. But this is not in general situations, there are some few from the old era that really wants to embrace cryptocurrencies.
3134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading volume and volatility alert on: October 17, 2020, 09:18:41 PM
is there any kind of system like this?

it would be good to receive on my phone the notice that market is active and volume is good and volatility is good.
it wil save a lot time instead of checking all day the charts and waiting for good moment to do the trading.
^ It could be you meant about the portfolio app that directly monitors your cryptocurrency on the exchange.
That is possible because there are too many exchange sites now have an offer service like that used by users exchange account API. You can able to trade on behalf of the owner using a trusted third-party app. In that way,. it is easy for you to access and monitor every day, the volume and the price flow that you can determine in the chart.
3135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges are guilty of preventing Bitcoin mass adoption on: October 17, 2020, 07:14:37 PM
~snip~
And I think he's right in not accepting Bitcoin. Exchanges would pump the hell out of Bitcoin, dump all the bitcoins they could possibly have to buy gold and then let the market return to its normal place again.... This of course plays against Bitcoin mass adoption.
^ I don't think if that is the main reason, but I did not see that exchange manipulating the price. It could be a whale or big-time multi investors that can afford to play the market with their own money. If you mean that this is preventing the mass adoption of bitcoin, I don't think so. If you have been noticed the Defi system now has massive growth, you make wonder to them, the fact that these all crypto exchanges that probably a big help.
3136  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟 CoinCards - Online Poker,Play Poker With Bitcoin🔥 on: October 17, 2020, 06:44:42 PM
^ Welcome to the gambling forum.
I have a few questions that I wanted to know after visiting your gambling site. The user interface is looking good and I think that is the user's friendly.
You did not mention to the FAQ you have about the rules you had, just like if this poker gambling site is a P2P (player to player) or you are just fighting to the house of edge. And also, is there in promotion of your site? It is a good start to have more customers.
3137  Economy / Exchanges / Re: localbitcoins is still exisiting im surprised on: October 17, 2020, 06:12:44 PM
you can buy btc now with a lot cheaper and quicker ways!
the cryptocurrency liqutity all over the world been improved a lot so now you can exchnge crypto just with ur bank card

how is this possible that localbitcoins still have customers?  Roll Eyes
^ The reason is just that not all countries can able be to buy crypto by their own bank account because their government was probably banned bitcoin due to the law that they implemented. Most of the localbitcoin users are those in the country of the US which bitcoin has a restriction upon using on it since Trump and crypto are not friends and the localbitcoin existence that makes their community becomes larger. Nevertheless, it is probably localbitcoin has a terrible trading history but not all of them have the same experience.
3138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 17, 2020, 09:59:12 AM
I voted yes, but I have to be honest that I read them after I registered. So, it was a while after I had registered and had been playing. Apart from that, I have to say that some gambling sites do not have TOS, so we cannot read them. But in my opinion everyone should read them. If not, trouble can follow.
I think that is a risky move that you will only read the TOS after you registered in a gambling site because what if the site is not licensure that you already handed them your personal information to them without knowing they are legitimate. Also, I think most legitimate gambling sites and other sites have their TOS because it is proof that they are safe and secured, so I read them the TOS before signing up or registering an account.
^ All gambling sites should have TOS, and that is recommended for them, that is impossible if they don't have TOS. For me, if they don't have TOS they are not operating legitimately since TOS is an agreement between the clients and the gambling operators, once you have used the site, it means you agreed the TOS. Nevertheless, that is a bad practice if you will skip the TOS upon using a gambling site, make it sure you read it properly to avoid possible trouble in the future.
3139  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the 50% rule? on: October 16, 2020, 10:40:52 PM
There is a rule in technical analysis called (50%).And it is called pullback.
Whenever the price reaches a peak, it can go down to 50% before the pump.
The same thing will happen again in falls.

Bircoin went to $1200 and then dropped to $180.
Bitcoin went to $20k and then dropped to $3300.

Those both were about 85% drops in price. That is what Bitcoin does. If next ATH will be $150k it will drop back to $25k.
^ If there is new ATH, it could possible if there is a correction of the price right after the surging in the market. But if you will look back the previous chart of bitcoin price, it will always end up surging the price in the market. However, all these predictions has no support or even technical analysis is quite outdated, also. Nevertheless, there si no accurate time and it is always unpredictable, so why others worried the price.
3140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SATOSHI !!! IS THIS LEGIT? on: October 16, 2020, 10:07:21 PM
^ I just want to say that respect him for his decision upon not revealing his real identity. Bitcoin will remain bitcoin without the real Satoshi Nakamoto the price will not probably be increased too much when there is Satoshi. For me, it is impossible real Satoshi will return, there are too many of them, claiming they are real Satoshi, but it seems no one will sign a message on the first blockchain address, there is no SATOSHI yet. Nevertheless, I don't give any comment yet, but I not believe that is legit.
