3121  Other / Meta / Re: What happened to BitcoinTalk in the last years? on: September 13, 2021, 12:10:20 PM
No, the question is why bitcointalk has become overrun by garbage shitposters in the last X number of years, and I'd say X>6, because it was just as bad when I registered as it is today--though there's been maybe some improvement because of the merit system.
The merit systems was introduced with purpose of stopping the spam poster to rank up and this has been successfull to some extent as many members who were airpdropped the initial merits are still having the same amount of merit with them because they're not able to make any quality posts on the forum. There were still such posts and still they are continuing with the same pace and spamming up the whole threads as you could see the post quality being degraded every time. The campaign participants are just in rush to complete their signature campaign requirements and overlooking what the discussion is about and write off topics content which is full of crap materials.

The user base is also decreasing because the signature campaign required merits ams and members are unable to have any and eventually their sole purpose is not being fulfilled and they just leave th forum but it's good not to have any such members.

For older members, sometimes it can make them want to pull their hair out, especially if they're trying to read threads in sections like Bitcoin Discussion.  That should be the most sacred of sections, and yet it's nothing but a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling shitbox of crap.  Haven't you noticed that?
The golden section and the most main section of the forum is now turning to be full of such spam threads and newbies and other members writing up the same thing which is usually wrong information and misguided content.Whenever their is news in market whether it's rumour they just create similar threads about them without any investigation and posting the links to the thread and end up violating the rules also.

I don't know if you had a chance to be here during 2016/17 or before, but for those who remember that time the forum has definitely changed for the better, at least in the sense that a large part of spammers, shitposters and scammers have been permanently deleted ( banned). However, I would not agree that there are no users who contribute to the forum and are not fluent in English (although it is not their mother tongue).
It was somehow golden period of the forum and you could see literally technical and well made discussion rather than seeking bitcoin investment advice and other spam threads we came across daily now and the well written threads are buried under the piles of such garbage threads.Speaking up of English then wr can see that most of the local board users are one's creating quality and effective posts on the forum in English as well and for those who don't understand it can always try to come across of their comfort zone and try to learn it.
3122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is a side hustle, not a life or death situation on: September 13, 2021, 10:59:10 AM

This thread?

I rather stay hungry than sell my Bitcoin

Those people that have full time job, they can treat crypto as their another source of income, whether they're a trader, a freelancer that receives payment in crypto or just the typical investor.
I have also my fixed job and treat this as side but being professional in this field as well like doing DCA into bitcoin investment and spending quality time on the forum.I have also created a similar thread like this but it's slightly different from this one.Like i have overcoming my junk food expenses and some parts of my savings into bitcoin DCA not selling stuff or being hungry for the same reason. Here is the link to the thread : Past Bitcoin journey and continuing the same for a long time.

I would prefer to be the typical investor, the buy low and sell high folk that would check to see how much I've gain everyday. I just can't stop myself and I think everybody else is also doing that.
It's not easy to determine those two levels like what is bottom and peak levels as this is suggested by every trader but in reality determining them is tough job and you need to have analysis of the market at deep levels.

On top of that, it's important to take care ourselves, if it's too much for your health, your profits might go into your hospitalization if you're ignoring your health.
If we are healthy then we can use our funds effectively and rightly said it's better to have less funds in bitcoin rather than having more bills of hospital if you get too weak in the same manner.

Maybe what we can also do before following the strategy or game done by other players is to check the volatility of the game (if it's a slot) and adjust it to the funds we use to play, if we only use small funds it would be better to just choosing the type of game that has low volatility, the multiplier you get will not be as high as other games that are high volatile, but expecting a big win with a small capital has a very low chance.
Yes you need to check volatility of the slot as various slot has different RTP and you can fit the slot according to your choice.Risk is directly awarded with the returns like high risk high RTP and vice versa. But sometime unexpected can also happen as this field of gambling is full of surprises for the players Wink
3124  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 13, 2021, 10:24:53 AM
I tried wagering higher bets before, two of the highest multipliers I got using a $1 bet per spin was 500x and  somewhere between 300x and 400x. I forgot the name of the slot where I won 500x, but the other one was on the tome of madness. It wasn't an early win just to be clear.
Your win in the end is what matters according to me because we know we have to burn some funds into gambling with hope of winning and when we hit that kinds of multiplier then we feel happy.I have seen some big wins on tome of madness and now you have also 300-400 multiplier on that slot.
3125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 13, 2021, 10:15:37 AM
Some alts probably did good VS btc, but also complete shitcoin a have done good VS btc in history for example XRP, DOGE, ADA etc have had there momentum…. Those where like total crap
Some shitcoins viewed by wider public as coins with somewhat utility like DeFi shit SOL, FTM, ETH, AAVE… or exchange coins like Binance coin, FTT … so e have done good VS btc as well though there where always some, but it’s just momentum, BTC will always come back

Always remember those coins are here to take away your BTC’s, don’t fal for the momentum’s of the alt’coolaid

No doubt some coins have outperformed bitcoin in terms of profits and returns like for example if you have invested the $1200 stimulus check in various altcoins vs bitcoin then the return was somewhat like this

Bitcoin - $12-$13k
ETH - $27-$30k
Doge - $121k

But this was just normal thing because bitcoin prices are way too much to move heavily compared with the market cap as i have also said previously.Same thing happened with investors as they found the other shitcoins more lucrative and thought they would gain more profits from them instead of holding bitcoin. They converted their btc or invested in such coins in the hype and then end up losing all as those meme coins don't stand a firm future and the whales cash out profits and market started dumping and they do not have any btc and have shitcoins left with them only with no growth chances.

But bitcoin always bounced back like in the past and will continue the same pace even if dips to bottom support barriers so holders don't have to worry about it in long term.Comparing the past bitcoin returns with other coins would make much sense as in hype most of the scam coins are pumped and then they disappear with your funds.Bitcoin comes with security and profits of your funds which other coins don't guarantee you.
3126  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 12, 2021, 05:34:53 PM
Different from what I believe. I guess, as long as the strategy of that another gambler is working very fine, we could continue to follow and learn through it. But it wouldn't really always work just like how it worked for them, but there are still some times that you will hit good for following what they do.

Having own strategy however most probably, it will need trials and erros which also requires time and money.
The bolded part in your reply is the most vital and important part to understand that if one strategy is working fine for one player it doesn't necessarily mean you will also be profited from the same as his gameplay can entirely be different from you and if you apply the same rules then you might lose and then regret your decision. You need to try different according to the games and see if you get results. But most of the time have active mind to know what's happening in your game.
3127  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 12, 2021, 03:38:53 PM
Sometimes they will have a bad view of all the casinos if they lose a lot of money and the bad thing is he will slanding for all of them. you can found every place where people can do this to prevent people play. I don't know what's the advantage, maybe he did it to get attention from a casino to expect his money back. that, of course, impossible could happen.

The first rule in gambling is you don't always win or you should keep in mind that winning and losing probability is never 50-50 and you can end up losing your money and that's why it is called risky but still people ignore it and when lose Start blaming the casinos for the same but they don't have much impact in restricting the players from paying and still we see lot of gamblers in almost every casinos and the numbers would go up in coming times.
3128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto payment gateway for adult website on: September 12, 2021, 03:24:35 PM
Hi
I'm looking for a payment gateway that allows other people on my website to get paid. To be more precise, people on my website would enter their crypto address and then other users are able to send tips to user who added crypto address. Site is adult oriented.

What are some crypto payment providers that allow that.
First of all how those people got paid by means of what? Like do they share something useful on your site to get paid on their crypto wallet? Also what is the content of your website. Im curious with the statement "sitr is adult oriented" is it some kind of porn site? Or any kind that has related for adult only?

Of course what you want is possible, only depends on the content of your site.
I also have the same question in mind like why would any user tip another one for visiting your site unless they are providing any service. For example as you said the site is adult oriented and it sounds like some pornography content being shared so what i am assuming is like if user A uploads a video to your site and if anyone wants to watch it then he needs to send the coins to the address and you will have your commission from them or is there anything different concept is being finalized for the site so make some clarification to have better idea.Like there are some sites where you sometimes get paid to watch videos or clicking on the ads but i don't understand the tipping concept.

Talking about payment processor or gateways that you can use are like bitpay or btc pay which you need to incorporate into your site or have a look here for some others Payment gateways

If these dips are scaring someone or those who are doing the same reverse action of panic selling again then bitcoin is not for your guys.

You see bitcoin dipping from $51k to $45k within few days and paying planks over those steps and became worried whether it will rise or not then you must be ignoring one thing which has depreciated over 70-80% in value from the beginning :

The fiat including USD have depreciated in value so much over all those years and with rising inflation and have not a single chance to go upwards and will be worthless one day due to hyperinflation and government printing more and more money out of thin air to counter such situations but will end up at devastated situation ends.Like we have seen in many countries like Venezuela where you can print big notes also and cannot buy a tissue roll with them.

But on the other side is bitcoin which have 100% chance to grow over these coming years and you will have deflationary assest with you if you can hold on these dips.We might feel agitated sometimes but just remember how much was it in back days and golden period will still come.

Waiting for next $50k boards and ignore any FUD.I am fucking holding my coins.

-snip-
However, I do agree that important websites should never be accessed via search engines, links on third-party sites, or email. It is always safer to enter the site's URL directly into the browser's address bar, or to navigate to it using saved bookmarks.
What also helps immensely here is to use an adblocker. The scam sites usually buy advertising spots in Google search, and would never be on top in a normal search without payment, because the clicks are far too few. If you install an adblocker, the Google Ads will also be hidden and you won't see the fake sites at all.
This is good idea to prevent you from pooping up all those scam ads on your browser also but yes sometimes they are also visible and you have to manually turn off the settings as mentioned by @fatfork and then you will not face any problem. There are many such sites that can divert you to some fake websites but this is not the case with the site referred above. But still precaution is better than cure.

Yep it could be that Rollbit has provided a great opportunity to be a big rollbit service to users who won big multipliers.
He will certainly be happy and be one of the posts made by rollbit.
It's not just that in the future there will be more equal opportunities.
i think this happens once in a million chance mate , 66k multiplier is cannot be seen in the next days or near future .

Congrats to that winner and hope he will inspire more gamblers to rollbit and other platform advertised in this forum.

It was big luck and everyone was expecting that awesome win and which I thought was unbalanced but real, just bet $1 win with x66,666 multiplier which I think was big luck, looks like he didn't think that he would get that luck and she must be very happy.
I hope I can be like him in the next Rollbit. Grin

Yes it is big luck for the player to hit such an amazing multiplier as said by @Bitinity that it is the highest payout on that slot and player would be feeling happy indeed as these kinds of win are really unexpected and seeing them with such small bets of $1 is insane.Rollbit is giving out some big wins. You could also be among that players if you are lucky and do not write she and him in same sentence Grin
3134  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: September 11, 2021, 06:33:59 AM
But unfortunately, many products are reviewed in a dishonest way, in my opinion, through e.g. getting devices for free. Also many reviewers clearly have no idea what they are talking about, and often it's not an issue for them since their main income is through YouTube clicks.
You would see the clickbait thumbnail with cheeky smiles on their face and when you open up the video to have a look you would feel what the hell they are taking about (if you have some bitcoin related knowledge) but it's clear that they just to want to gain more views whether they have knowledge or not in order to get paid. But this creates some sort of misconceptions among the viewers and they give them wrong knowledge about bitcoin working and products and people get diverted to it.But with setting up bitcointalk official YouTube channel the awareness could be spread out among masses without any sponsored videos of those youtubers promoting shitcoins and fake wallets and exchanges to scam people.
3135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on honest earning on: September 11, 2021, 06:21:34 AM
Apart from the fact that these apps usually have to be downloaded from unknown sources, which is always a possibility of a malicious app, and anyone who has more such apps on their phone will receive a lot of SMS, which can be very irritating. As for payouts, I don't think it pays too much to withdraw $2 in BTC, these are actually dust transactions that will be a problem for the user when he tries to spend them.

I would advise an extra phone for all those who download suspicious apps, especially if they have a crypto wallet on their phone.

You have a point, but I've been paid multiple times by the apps and I can attest to that. One of them (MSMS) paid me over 30 Euros in less than 2 years. And all I did was nothing.

I'm also pretty wary when it comes to apps that sound too good to be true, but some of them have companies established and I'll always verify the payouts myself before recommending them to others.

SMS annoyance, yeah but after a while, you'd get used to it. After all, free pocket money. You never try, you never know Wink
All these passive income apps are not worth it as you see @OP wants to earn 3-4 eth and with these apps he is not going to earn over them hundred of years also as they pay relatively very less as in your case also like you have earned 30 Euros or say only $35 in period of 2 years which is not less man and you get annoyed by all those messages all day.

As a newcomer if you don't have anything to do you can try them but speaking from my personal experience they are just waste of time nothing else and you get paid very less even lower to some faucets also.Speaking of MSMS they are also the same like the telecom companies have to test their services globally which they use your mobile numbers to send messages and pay you for the same but there are certain implications to that like

1) You may get wrong app from the playstore as it is available on Android devices only not for IOS devices or malicious APK files from the internet which could damage your device with virus

2) These services are not available globally in my opinion like some Asian countries, Canada,US and some other places are included.

3) If your country already have more registered users you cannot get yourself enrolled on the app to pay.

Read the reviews here: MSMS review

So @OP if you are interested in earning ETH then finds some other way like you said you are designer then what best you can do is to make any artwork and categorised them under NFT on the ETH blockchain as many projects are being launched and can easily gain momentum and there could be rush to purchase that NFT of your's and any other services offered by you to get paid in the same currency you wish to do so.
3136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No late commer in cryptocurrency on: September 11, 2021, 06:01:26 AM
There are no late comers till date in bitcoin also thinking differently to you.See the main point of coming late or early solely depends on how much profit you will or have gained from the past and in future. For instance if you have invested in bitcoin in early 2011 also and could have gained full bitcoin for as low as $1 also but now see you would have to spend $45k to have full bitcoin but still you can have it if you can afford the money and hold it for some time to gain profits. So what matters the most is how much profit you have gained or will gain in future from bitcoin. The companies have started to adopt and countries regulating bitcoin would certainly boost the prices even higher and so will be your profits.

But this concept will not always work like say if you say the same words after some years then it would not make much sense as you will be too late then and would not be able to get full bitcoin for $100k also and moreover coins in circulation will even become more lower after the next halving in 2024 when rewards will be halfed to 3.125 bitcoins and till 2140 all bitcoins will be mined and you will regret that time.So i would say without wasting any time you should invest in bitcoin and saying who was early and who will be late.

Hope you will enjoy the read!
Very good move on your part man and going out of your comfort zone to have such an incredible interview session with the company engaged in renewable bitcoin mining. The whole interview is presented in the best manner for the readers with lot of information about the company and provide good interview session to the forum members.

+1WO smerit for the efforts and your dedication to the bitcoin

I also have done something similar but on a much smaller scale as mine was an interview session with an local store owner who accepts bitcoin payments on his store and you can check it here : Interview session with Store owner accepting bitcoin

You have presented this interview session in really good manner and that's how we can learn from senior members and good to see such threads being made by you.

3139  Other / Meta / Re: Where can I find signature campaigns ? on: September 10, 2021, 02:23:40 PM
The bounties available in the altcoin section usually pay in tokens that aren't even listed yet, and you only get paid after the bounty is over--plus you're trusting that the bounty owner won't fuck you over in the end, which happens quite a bit.
Moreover if the coin get listed in any of the exchange the Bounty hunters will try to dump the coins ASAP they receive the payments and then the prices of that tokens will go down to bottom levels and you will get paid very less or say sometimes you just want to sell off the coins but there are no possible ways and then they lies dead in your wallets for years. But still as newbie account you can try to join them but not beneficial so it's better to work hard and rank up on the forum to get selected in signature campaign later on.Waiting a little bit could give you good profits and best is you will gain knowledge on the forum which will benefit you even more in life.Stick to it and you will see how good this decision has done to you.
3140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin——the intermediary for the interaction between human and alien on: September 10, 2021, 02:14:24 PM
That's why the aliens were trying to contact the humans from a long time and frequently visiting USA to give hints that bitcoin is the medium to interact with them.I didn't find out that i am reading a constructive post on the forum but thought was reading some sci-fi novel of some psychopath who himself is not aware about what he is writing up.See man this forum is for learning crypto and bitcoin stuff not this seriously.

But you don't need to worry about the human-alien interaction as Elon Musk is already working on it and trying to bribe them with memecoins to colonization of mars and they will be trading it to buying stuff on their planet.Your all those theories are suddenly turning up to well written story which could not be finalized.Try with another one man.
