yes, i saw. but am confused with this "Clean Water Coin will be launching on March 30, 2014. Time is TBD." on the same website, the countdown is under this word. i think everyone should be confused as me . I didn't notice that convenient get-out clause! Devs - please clarify!! Also, the count down was syncing to local time zones so it was showing a different time based on where you live, we are updating that as well. The official launch time is 5 pm EST (which is 10 pm GMT I believe). Come on guys, that count down timer has been there for how many days now and a few hours hours to the countdown you bother to take notice of it and rectify it? It might have been better just post the exact time of launch there in UTC and dont bother with the count down at all and remove it. |

You know, I just thought of a great idea to get this coin rolling, all the people that read, follow, and support this coin, but rarely or have never posted here, please post and introduce yourselves! We all would love to meet you and hear any comments that you may have. Also, I personally have had 4 280x's pointed exclusively at GPUC since launch, and yeah, i'm talking I solved like 5 blocks at oakpool when the reward was still 1 coin. But, the troubles we have had are just not helping buy pressure at all. I'm considering pointing two of my cards at litecoin, dogecoin, vertcoin or some such other high volume coin that I can mine and dump and move the BTC over to put buy pressure up on gpucoin, not even necessarily buying it outright, just putting up the highest bid, and letting the dumpers sell to me. I'll probably get more coin, and boost the price. The only hesitation I have is that the network hash is so low right now. But, I'm thinking that if we watch it carefully, in a couple days we could boost the price and volume all by ourselves, even on our small exchanges,without any help, and that will bring back a few miners when the price goes up some, etc. What y'all think?

Nice comment. I will start (if anyone has not posted yet after done typing this one) I am bitwarrior and I am a self-confessed crypto-addict We can try your suggestion. BAsically the market is reactionary, once they see that the price pf GPU is increasing and stablising, miners tries to focus their miners on that coin , increasing the difficulty, gaining demand on the exchange. Poloniex and Mintpal are good exchanges, But I suggest that you also try atomic-trade.com Thanks for hearing me out. |

ok.. sanity check didn't went well last night.
I drived last night 150km to the experienced win dev a ex co-worker of mine, and 150km back, came back like 1AM.. BlitzCoin is to hot to be sent to unknown person over the internet to compile a windows wallet before launch, so I believe you understand why I wanted to keep it "inside house". All that to find out after I came home that BlitzCoin have no hard cap on max coins. It's a known issue, I believe everyone remember it form dogecoin..
As I say, better be safe than sorry so I decided to get some sleep to clear my mind and to be fresh before I review the code again.
Now everything is ready. Source checked, windows wallet ready.. For Mac wallet bounty will be allocated and will be released in 24h from BltzCoin launch.
Synch checked and working flawlessly, literally everything is ready and will be sending P2Pool parameters to OmarG later on.
During the day, I'll contact pool operators to provide me IP addresses for config file. It will reduce amount of orphaned blocks at the beginning.
action plan:
5PM GMT I'll release windows wallet in password protected .zip file
6PM GMT I'll release source code on Github
6:15PM GMT I'll release password for win wallet.
source will be released 15 minutes prior the win wallet to allow pools some time to compile wallet. I believe 15 min is enough for pools to do it. As well, I noticed in other coin launches usually less experienced users with windows wallets starts to solo mine before wallet is fully synced and at that point is general panic and lots of forks..
I'll do check pointing to prevent it as well.

just came back home. needed to stay late at work. I'll not be ready in 30 mins for launch  need to postpone it. what do you think? to postpone it for few hours or not to rush and postpone it 24h until tomorrow 6PM? You can postpone it for 1 or 2 hours but not 24 hours, people have rented some rigs here and invested much to go to waste. Think also those miners.Pls. Thanks and ofcourse the pool operators who are trying their best to mange and set things ready o their end. |

I mined a few coins there today I just tried to withdraw, was instantly recieved in my wallet. I have checked the pool and it does not give any shares and all mined and shares are pointing to "unknown". The OP/Dev should remove this pool as its official pool or it will drag down the SUN coin too. Here is proof that the pool1.suncoin.biz is doing a shady work/SCAM!!! |

I'm not going to speak for Jaymes but the rig frame is only a small part of what he is working on.
