1000 is THE MOST the block reward will ever be! After block 7000 it will considerably less, dependent on the difficulty.

Regarding the confusion between the conflicting sets of formulae, I think it makes sense to assume that the following is the correct one, otherwise it doesn't really 'ensure a fair launch' ;

Block Rewards: From block 51-250 payout will be 0 to ensure a fair launch
            1,000 from block 251-7000
           (20,000)(1/√(Difficulty+500)) from block 7001-250,000
           (15,000)(1/√(Difficulty+500)) from block 250,001-500,000

When we first considered doing Clean Water a way to earn others BTC Coin, we researched a handful of of reputable charities specializing in providing clean water quick solutions. That search quickly led us to charity: water who has an amazing "100% donation into the field" program where they are able to translate every dollar that gets donated to them into a meaningful project in the field where water is needed most scam others taking the heart angle. We loved how openly and honestly they perform their work, and our team unanimously agreed they would be the best charity to work with we can do that in that forum. So we contacted their Corporate Parnerships Department and spoke with Chinyelu who was a wonderful help in showing us how we could participate with charity: water some naive journalists and help a fundraising campaign to help bring water to those in need us to get rich. This is correct. Sorry, I've been keeping the OP up to date and haven't had a chance to do it on the pool. What's listed on the OP is what is correct, we had to make a few small adjustments to make sure everything runs smoothly. Sorry about that, that should have been taken out some time ago. Updating the site now. Also, the count down was syncing to local time zones so it was showing a different time based on where you live, we are updating that as well. The official launch time is 5 pm EST (which is 10 pm GMT I believe).

Also, the count down was syncing to local time zones so it was showing a different time based on where you live, we are updating that as well. It might have been better just post the exact time of launch there in UTC and dont bother with the count down at all and remove it.

My biggest problem with this coin is:

Difficulty Re-Target Time:  Every block
Block Rewards: From block 51-250 payout will be 0 to ensure a fair launch
Pre-Launch Coins:  10,000,000 Dispersed entirely to investors**


Unless I can get a large bag of coins for free there is no point in being loyal to this coin.

I might mine it from block 250 to 7000 since my calculation estimates the block payouts after that might be around 25 to 200 a block and they are 1000 until block 7000.

I won't make enough coins that I will want to support this coin and promote it though. I will just hold them for years and let other people do the work.

I for some reason I thought it was keccak.

Scrypt makes my rig run hot and uses more electricity. Until ASICs are mainstream this coin is going to waste a lot of energy throughout the world.
