This is a good news, more institutional investors will be pouring in their money to buy bitcoin. They will be the bubble that will cause the crash in my opinion, as more whales goes in, the prices jump and when the time comes to sell, they will all leave the individual hodlers under the bus. There will be no halving to save them and winter will soon be coming.

So, I guess the question is, what is the feasible price of bitcoin when considering other objective functions such as environmental sustainability? Electricity produces CO2,but so what?Trees and plants consume CO2,so the problem with CO2 production can be solved,if we plant more trees on the planet Earth. Can you measure "environmental sustainability"?I don't think so. Coal mining and coal consumption in the third world countries is a way bigger problem than crypto mining,so let's not become like all those "progressive" ecological fanatics, like Greta Tunberg. Many industries are polluting the Earth way more than the crypto industry. And yes, crypto mining will become more and more energy efficient, year after year. The miners want lower electricity costs, don't they? It is better if we care for ocean algae because they are the biggest CO2 absorber, planting a lot of trees will be inefficient because maturity takes a lot of time. If we do not solve the electricity consumption problem within crypto mining then what is it good for rather than contributing to the carbon footprint. Can you explain how the mines become more energy efficient? There is a solution for this problem that we are facing, as we all know, more countries are leaning towards a more efficient and clean energy like wind, solar, hydro and the worst but efficient of the bunch which is nuclear. The thing with power source is the farther you are to the source, the more expensive the cost of electricity is. If we can put those mines as close as possible to the source, I think that we can alleviate the environmental impacts that mining contributes.

Yikes--there was another thread recently about this, and I'm not worried since I don't have a webcam and generally don't even look at porn. That's disturbing that the extortionists actually had some sensitive data on people. That and the thread that there might be "compromising video" would likely scare quite a few folks.
Thanks for the additional heads up, OP. Even if it seems relatively obvious that it's a scam, there are potential victims who might fall for it if they're not warned. That seems to be the case with all of those scams, unfortunately.
The extortionists do not have a personal data on anybody just to be clear, they rely on social engineering the people who see their message, it is kind of like casting a net in the see, the larger the net, the more your chances to catch one. A Youtuber named SomeOrdinaryGamers investigated this exact scamming email. There will be people who will be falling for it especially those people who are not aware of their security and are guilty on doing what is in the email. When I got first I was like masturbating 20 minutes ago to CP and for a few seconds I really suspected I was somehow hacked.
What is CP in this context? The only CP I know is illegal.

I think Demacia Cup is one of the many cups that is a very awaiting tournament. Not because of the prize I believe but because of the teams that will compete. There are pld teams aiming for the championship and new teams but not that newest, also hoping to win. I'm a big fan of SKT T1 because of it's gameplay, strategies and the urgeness to win that brought them to many champion. T1 have achieve a lots of different historical titles. I think today is not their time but eventually bring them again for a championship in the next few years I guess. They just need to rebuild their rooster and bring some new players that might help them to get into top once again. The reason that SKT T1 will not participate must be the pandemic, this by far is the biggest tournament of the year after the Worlds 2020. Looking at the current roster, I think that it is still a good team, they might not be the same team as back then but I think that they can manage plus the meta of League of Legends is ever changing so we will never know for sure.

I hope the rally continues but who am I to say that it will go that way forever, I am just wishfully thinking that everything goes according to plan. No one knows OP, that is what anyone says and do not create another topic that is in the realm of this because speculating something is not a good thing. You only create false hopes that could otherwise indirectly cripple someone's financial status because of this kind of thread giving them something to believe in even when there is no evidence.

..and I do not think that he will go on and apply as a draft pick for PBA, he is happy as is in his show business life. You are outdated mate. The reason Andre Paras was in the discussion here because he applies for the PBA draft. I didn't check when I was replying to these but then I got curious after my last post. It seems that show business at this time of the pandemic is not a profitable endeavor, or that he really wants to do other things. Anyway, I think that if in anyway, I think he will enter at least at the top 10 because of the name and the height.

No big events this current COVID season and to be honest it is pretty boring because most teams competing right now are either formulaic or boring, the top tiers are sleeping and I guess it is understandable considering The International is postponed. I am also excited with the new patch because meta will definitely be changing and hopefully we can see new team pop up when the International starts because I do not want another OG championship, I think it is enough that they won 2 times.

Reward or no reward people will do their best to avoid being affected by the Covid 19 virus because they all know that their lives is at stake so for me this government reward is not necessary as long as they provide health support to their people by implementing strict safety health protocols and giving food supply for them to survive. Rewards will just make the government to bankrupt specially to the over populated nations with weak economy.
I think an incentive could work but that would be practically impossible because monetary rewards will soon be a problem for the government expenditure. I hate that the only thing that is keeping us alive is that we fear we are the one that might get infected and not make it but we can't do shit. I think the best solution here is for the governing bodies to create a far more effective and efficient way to contain the virus because the conventional way seems to have their own cracks that could get out of hand really quick.

If I try to understand, you want the government to provide assistance to traders by giving USDT for every USD printed. It imposible , because USD and USDT are different. both in management and creation. USD government owned USDT owned by tether limited company
OP does not seem to understand that. You can't just inject money into something to prevent a collapse, sure it will go smooth for a while but considering that the stimuli is only limited then it is sure that it will also be a limited smooth ride. I think OP is a troll and our replies on his/her thread only feed him/her ego.

I doubt this because the level of talent that Andre Paras have is not that high and he might not land on the top ten in the draft pick and i also got a feeling that he might be drafted because he is a Paras but might not see action in the PBA as the PBA team that drafted him might not offer him a contract. I think you are talking about the other Paras which is Kobe as he is the one on the Gilas squad at the moment. Andre Paras is more on the show business side of his father, he is not as good as his brother and I do not think that he will go on and apply as a draft pick for PBA, he is happy as is in his show business life. Kobe on the other hand is a hope for the new generation of Basketball scene in the Philippines.

Really disappointed with the result but I see this as your fault as well since you are using VPN as this is usually not allowed to most gambling sites. It was really sad but supposedly they will return your money since it was probably not stated there TOS but the problem is that you can no longer access your account and withdraw it. Your last hope is that they feel what you feel this time and give mercy to you.
Do not be disappointed, maybe the reason that OP uses VPN is to protect his/her personal details. Maybe the state/nation that OP is in does not allow any form of gambling whatsoever. I do not see anything that OP did wrong in the case because there should be no way that a site holds the funds of the owner of the account, that is some form of extortion or withholding of funds.

Im pretty sure he'll not going to show up even in Christmas day. Many xmas has passed but nothing changed the fact thar Satoshi Nakamoto wanted to stay anonymous forever.
Sharing bitcoin is possible for those who have owned thousands of it. But looking at bitcoin's price right now, Satoshi will remain unknown and untraceable. He already achieved what he wanted to happen for bitcoin. He's contented now.
I agree that satoshi will never resurface and, what does Christmas has to do with giving away bitcoin? Just because of the "Holiday Spirit" is here means that we should give something away, that is a BS, unless you are a philanthropist or you are just plain generous. satoshi is not a just a one man I do believe and whoever is behind it is a spending the rest of their lives somewhere peaceful, and let them be to be honest.

I only think that if I am playing gambling and winning that game, I consider that will be my luck, which is come to me at the right time. Don't rely on luck that much man, mathematics is a better word for it to be honest, all those odds just landed at the right spot for you to win or lose. ~
I never think much about learning deeper about gambling games or trying to make a strategy because gambling is entertainment for me. I do get entertained but at the same time, there isn't wrong with earning some money while you are at it right? I do like to get the most out of the things that I do that makes me money, that is just my two cents but hey at least you are not close to an addict like me haha.

You are the one betting after all so why not do it. I do not see the problem as a player but if you look at a bookie side, this seems like an exploit. But if you do not tell them that you arb then I think that nothing wrong with that, come to think of it, I think that the more site you bet on means that you lose more money even if you are profiting because you win no matter what.

This just seems like a desperate gimmick. You might get some attention for doing this but it's just something I would keep my distance from. Some of the wagering options seem too ambiguous and unattractive for gambling.
It is a desperate gimmick, nobody in their right mind will do this kind of shit. This is something that you will see in the deep web altogether with red rooms, pedophile websites and drug markets. Have to commend their balls to do this thing to say the least. Distancing yourself from this kind of shit is the best course of action, remember that when people do not care about this enough, it will stop becoming a thing.

Weigh difference, reach, height, stamina… You are comparing like they both are professional boxers. But one is a super professional, other...just played football at school and goes to the gym Take a look on Logans fight against other youtube. Hands down, heavy breathing. And that was just a second round https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXEuyc_KxrkLogan and Jake Paul are aiming to be professionals, when you played some sports in school that does mean that you have some athletic background. I am not against anyone here, I am just laying down the practical stats for everyone to consider, yes Mayweather may win but don't you want to know how he can win and how he can lose to this chode? ~
Logan Paul should have to prepare for this fight of course he was looking for a favor in him to become a winner but also to prepare hinself in the possibilities of injured or early knock out while in game. But for sure a lot of bettors will still choose Mayweather over him. I think that this is given, every boxer or fighter at that should prepare for any upcoming match. A fighter that is unprepared is as good as a loser in a match.
|
|
|
If they are both in the same level of skills in terms of boxing for sure it will be tough for Mayweather having his opponent that much of advantage. Though experienced wise He just simply need to avoid those punch and throw some good one from him.
From what I have heard through grapevine, Logan Paul and his brother Jake Paul are both training and they seem to be serious about getting into becoming a professional boxers. So yeah, I would account for that thing in regards to the fighting chance of Paul against Mayweather. If there are chances, I would put this around 60/40 in favor of Mayweather.

Everyone on this thread is suddenly expert on bitcoin and the economy. Can someone counter argue the economist claim about bubble without being biased from either side. Pretty shitty seeing that you all circle jerk about this guy is wrong, this one too is wrong. No one seems to respect the people with different point of view. Again, counter argue the claim without saying "bitcoin is the future", "he/she doesn't know better". This one person seems to get it. Of course it's in a bubble, it's naive to think that we won't have a massive crash because "this time is different - we have institutional investors". But this doesn't mean that it's bad to invest in it, you can try to do some short-term trading and exit long before the crash, you can try to buy dips and sell them quickly, and dips will happen because there's always corrections in the bull market. Bitcoin is a risky investment, but the risk is justified, so the only thing investors should worry about it so not overexpose themself to it.

But the biggest con of this type of gambling is waiting time and I think this is the longest form of gambling ever which last for months and also reward distribution takes a lot of time as well, not sure that a regular casino gambler will have such kind of patience level.
This is an understandable con for gamblers but you have to consider that bookies rely on more people betting on the game so they have to create the bet as early as possible before the fight/race. It is in a way a pro for player too if you ask me, with a bigger time frame, you can decide more in depth on where you want to bet or if you want to bet, and in case that you do not have enough money to place a minimum bet then you can use that time to scrounge up some money before the big game starts.

Floyds height is 1,73cm, Logans 1,88cm. Their difference in height is just one iPhone 12 (146mm) The picture is a lie And their weight difference is just 20kg. Goliath (Logan) has no real advantage over David (Mayweather). 20kg is a big difference, if this is an exhibition fight, then Mayweather better watch out for some heavy punches because that could spell a knockdown or worse a knockout. The height is also an advantage because that means that Logan will have more reach than Floyd and that means it will be a fight where Floyd will need to dodge a lot of punches, the only advantage I can think of is the stamina of the fighters, the one who gets breathe more air than the other will definitely be the winner, the problem left there is the other might find that opportunity to clinch.
