The emissions of Monero are following the published schedule quite closely, and always have, even on the first day or two (unlike some other coin we know about that mined ~500K coins in an hour and ~2 million in a day). Check a block explorer or the blockchain itself. Currently ~15K coins/day.

I've mined a large number of shitcoins. Why should I care about any of it if they give top BTCs for my mining efforts? I shouldn't. Coin specs, fundamentals etc are only for long term investment purposes. Otherwise you just mine & dump. So if you mined & dumped, as miners tend to do, you sold at like 5-10% of the coin's (materialized) potential. Hence you are butthurt and try to rationalize to yourself why you made a good choice. okay lets talk price..i stopped mining darkcoin, but i profited from other coins..sold when BTC is 600-1000$, now BTC is only ~ 250....don't see any butthurting here |

You *so* are Eons ago, I mined a coin called 'Maxcoin' which was one of the biggest hyped launches of all time. I had about 6 linux cloud miners set up and a Windows local one. On the night I got about 2 coins while some people picked up thousands due to a majourly f*cked up launch by the devs. Although it was a bit disappointing at the time, it didn't exactly ruin my life. I've not even any clue how that coin's doing now in the markets and, if it did get anywhere in the end, then good luck to them's all I can say. All the same, I can't imagine what kind of brain damaged warped disposition I'd have to have to go trolling their thread a year afterwards pretending to try to "protect newbs" from a scam....r.o.t.f.w.l. !!! (Even if I saw myself as some kind of 'crypto saviour'). Ask yourself why anyone would dedicate a considerable amount of their time to passionately ranting about something that they believe is doomed to failure. For hours, daily. Some have been doing it for months, years even. I mean I'm pretty sure that, sadly, Mars One won't have anyone arriving on Mars before 2028, as is their stated goal. But I'm not going to spend thousands of hours trolling their forums because I hold that opinion. In fact, if I'm proved wrong I'd be thrilled. In the meantime it, naturally enough, simply doesn't cross my mind very much. So we turn to Bitcoin where the forums are trolled quite disproportionately and we ask ourselves why these people are here. Consistent, vociferous and prolific. Why aren't they getting on with their lives, checking in every so often to see whether they've been vindicated? One has to wonder. And not long after you begin to wonder you develop some circumstantial suspicions, shrug and move on with your life. I have mined DRK for years now knowing about the instamine, IMO still the best coin even with its troubles in the beginning. have you looked at the screencap from march 2014? first anonymous coin, no premine, ASIC resistant ->that got me started........until i learned about the instamine etc etc. still the best coin? XMR is my best coin right now....maybe what you are saying is "the best bitcoin clone with modifications" |
