Thank you.

Yes, that's the nice article. In fact, that's the kind of article that gets people to get interested and do some research and build their own opinion.

Clear facts, without any writer opinions in it. You don't read that very often lately.

Like it.

Lets you only read it when you have a login. Can you quote the most important parts?

How can it be, that everytime I watch such a video on youtube and click on the next videos I eventually end up with funny cat videos? What is that with youtube and their obsession with cats?

Thank you so much.

Meni, you made my day. The first share payout since the Mess started. What a relive.

Thank you.

Grin
3146  Economy / Securities / Re: [ANN] Interest in migrating your GLBSE listing to CRYPTOSTOCKS? on: November 26, 2012, 08:40:06 AM
Cryptostocks is superior to mpex, easier to use. And the owner is not some faceless twat who sends people to the forum for "PR" (trolling). Never had a single issue on the site.

Well, I used to think the same about GLBSE and Mpex.

Guess what, Mpex is still there. Both its handling of stocks and the usage of signed contract make it very secure. Therefore I tend to believe it will be there a long time.

But in one thing I agree: It's a pain in the a** to handle.

Also there is the 30BTC (?) entrance fee, which make it a no go as GLBSE replacement.

Therefore I think using the free Cryptostocks is a good way of relisting the GLBSE assets.

I hope that many of the Issuers will do this.

Das hier wäre etwas für dich:

A cool, gibt's also doch schon.

3149  Economy / Securities / Re: GLBSE Payment Claims (Announce your payment here) on: November 25, 2012, 08:53:59 PM

I received this out of no where.

Gee... Thanks!

This is probably from PureMining, this means you have 75 shares. See here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=65569.200

Grin

Are there any alternatives to bitpay yet?

If mtgox got most buyers/traders, and bitpay most merchants, for my taste Bitcoin would depend a bit too much on those 2 companys.

I think they are trying to make something similar for Europe: http://www.paymium.com/

Haven't seen any presence of them on the forum though.
3152  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: E-Mail an die Taz on: November 25, 2012, 01:26:42 PM

@brunozisterer

siehst Du, so macht man das !

@akka

Klasse geschrieben.

Siehe hier:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=126706.msg1349523#msg1349523

3154  Other / Off-topic / Re: What we've learnt today. on: November 23, 2012, 11:10:56 PM
Well, it is not certain for all megafauna, but it is pretty much sure for a lot of large animals, such as aurochs, Moa, thylacine, and so on.   Many fascinating creatures have been wiped out by humans in the last thousands years, and that is kind of sad indeed.

I was only referring to those mentioned in the post - woolly mammoth, rhino, and Australian megafauna. There's evidence that they began to disappear as humans arrived, but ecological conditions changed at those points in time too.

Yes, I was explicit referring to the Quaternary extinction. Which was the disappearance of a huge amount of the worlds megafauna. On theory on this is the overkill hypothesis, which makes the appearance of humans responsible for this event.
3155  Other / Off-topic / Re: What we've learnt today. on: November 23, 2012, 10:51:48 PM
Your post includes much conjecture, and should be presented as such:

Sad thing is there where large Animals almost in every region in the world. Mammoth and Rhinoceros in Europe, Elephants in America and even 3 meter Marsupials in Australia. They all disappeared when the first humos showed up, probably possibly due to them beeing easy prey. A Mammoth didn't fear humans. The only region they survived (on a larger scale) is Africa because this is where Humans evolved and the animals might have "learned" to view us as the threat we are.

Sorry, of course it should. It's a controversial theory after all. Wasn't my intention to present it as facts.

But I don't really understand what the difference between probably and possibly is in this context.
3156  Other / Off-topic / Re: What we've learnt today. on: November 23, 2012, 07:47:14 PM
Today I've learnt that about 34 millions years ago, there used to be two-meter tall penguins living in Antartica.

http://phys.org/news/2012-11-argentine-experts-giant-penguin-fossils.html
Wasn't the world great when it had more oxygen in the atmosphere...

I'm pretty sure the oxygen levels at that time were not much different than today.  I think it was during Paleozoic that they were much higher.

It's true though that before Holocene there used to be all kinds of large animals everywhere, but on the other hand the largest animal who's ever lived on earth still lives today.

1.   The bitcoin payment address associated with your glbse.com claim

Sure, no problem.

Quote
2.   Name of the person or entity claiming beneficial assignment of the agreement,

Also OK with that.

Quote
3.   The physical address of the person or entity (no Post Office boxes or mail suites),

If it has to, OK

Quote
4.   The tax identification number of the person or entity claiming beneficial assignment,
5.   For real persons: a photocopy or scanned PDF of government issued photo identification, or, for corporations the document number and issuing jurisdiction of the incorporating charter and proof of current good standing.

Only with a signed non disclosure agreement from this lawyer.
And I also want a photocopy or scanned PDF of government issued photo identification, from him or you.

6.   An affidavit attesting to the beneficial assignment of the agreement, which has been notarized (US residents/corporations) or local equivalent bearing the apostille of the competent jurisdiction.  Copies of an acceptable affidavit can be obtained upon request from the law offices.

This has to be a joke!

Also, I have no Idea how many Gigamining shares I have. Maybe just 1, that would be mean it's truly not worth the effort. So please provide at last Information about how many shares we are talking here.

No, I remember to have seen somewhere that he stated it would become ~January until he will be able to add the first Asics.

I can imagine that the first chips will be ordered in December. And therefore found are collected for this first order.

Also, he is stepping in new terrain here, even if he gets the chips on time. There is:

  • PCB Layout
  • PCB Assembly
  • Mining Software configuration
  • Setup of the new farm / integration into the old one
  • Much more I haven't thought of

As I think this is mostly a one man operation and this whole project requires a lot of work, I expect delays to happen here.
So be patient.

That's part of evolution, otherwise, you'll be trapped behind your wall until you walk through it.

This is actually funny, because the image I have of you, is a regular stoner, who actually stays behind his door all day and next to never walks through it.

No offence.
