3141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin high fee has brought dogecoin to limelight on: April 17, 2021, 10:19:05 PM
It's been a long time since it's been used for transactions, mostly in casinos because of the low fees if somebody doesn't want to use bitcoin as an option. We feel that it's easier to use it because it doesn't have much value before.

This time it has changed, no doubt that the biggest contributor to its value is due to the hype of Elon Musk. If it retains its current value then that shall be one of the most common crypto in transaction although it's really popular even before.
3142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My 0,03btc---->1btc challenge on: April 17, 2021, 09:41:51 PM
Since when you've started your 0.03BTC journey?
I just joined the telegram channel and found out that op had been challenging himself since January 5th, the time he created the channel, I'd love this challenge.
Thanks, so that's when he started. That's not long ago and I think that he's doing any better by this time but at least should give some reply for the posts that he might want to answer some questions or just want to share because not everyone would go into his telegram.

You must have tried a highly hyped token called SHIBA (SHIB on MXC). It has given more than 175x to those who invested in it 60 days ago so your BTC0.03 would have become BTC5.25.  Cheesy
That's like the new dogecoin and just wow, I've missed that train when I've seen a lot of people posting about it everywhere.
3143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Google on: April 17, 2021, 09:02:43 PM
Bitcoin surpassing Google's market cap and other popular companies or can be said as the top and largest companies in the world are inevitable.

I can authoritatively say that Bitcoin is on its way to becoming the Google of cryptocurrency
And the other altcoins can be said as those companies that are under google or near behind its market cap?
3144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ATH - those responsible. on: April 16, 2021, 10:07:06 PM
I think that everyone involved in the market contributed to the ATH of bitcoin, I meam the hodlers should be a big part of that because they are the ones that are whittling down the supply and making the prices go higher because they create a sense of scarcity, we also have to mention the lost coins as they are a big contributor too.
If it's not for the people who hold bitcoin, there won't be any market on it. But those facts that you've said about lost bitcoins forever which makes the supply lesser will contribute in the long run.

Thanks to them, but thanks to the buyers also. Without them, those sell orders wouldn't have been filled.
Indeed. Not only those who sell their Bitcoin, but the buyers also have a big role. Both of them have a big contribution to support the Bitcoin ATH. I also one of them who sell Bitcoin, but only a few of all the Bitcoin I have. So, just thanks to me, guys!  Cheesy
Thanks to you and to everyone who has been holding and selling, we're all contributing to the economy of bitcoin and to those who are also paying high fees.
3145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My 0,03btc---->1btc challenge on: April 16, 2021, 09:23:03 PM
Since when you've started your 0.03BTC journey?

If you're already @ 0.17BTC and you just shared it just now that you've started it from 0.03BTC. I think that's a shortcut for you but that's fine because it's your journey after all.

Only a few would follow you to that group. Much better if you keep this thread posted with your updates.
3146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: As altcoins are bleeding, people found a way to hedge on DOGE. on: April 16, 2021, 08:35:16 PM
Is DOGE the hottest coin now after BNB?
Temporarily yes.

After BNB has reached $600, it was the start of its drop and we're seeing that it keeps dropping again. But that drop is nothing for those early investors that have been holding it before the bull run.

This Doge run is truly going to the moon just as the tweets of Elon helps to fuel it up there.
3147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if Satoshi moves or sells his Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2021, 07:56:36 PM
That would be a flash crash.

It's a disaster for most that don't have the patience to watch the effect of it. And will push a lot of newbies and probably some experienced holders to sell because they might think that it's the end just like those days when bearish days.

But there go the institutions and for sure they'll be smiling while putting those buy orders while looking at the market by that time.
3148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crazy Dogecoin run 100x in 2 years on: April 16, 2021, 07:23:22 PM
$40 Billion marketcap now, how high can this go?
We don't know but there's one thing that will happen soon and that's the FOMO will start to lie low. The run that Dogecoin has made only indicates a few things.

Elon Musk's effect and influence is really huge.

A meme coin that's being loved by the crypto community and before Musk's tweets influence, it's already being loved by the community.
3149  Economy / Economics / Re: Raising the stock market after Covid-19 on: April 15, 2021, 06:56:36 PM
is the covid pandemic over?
Yes, for some countries but they are not neglectful because they're still strengthening their protocols for the people that will enter their borders. But what's done is done and it's

in my country the government still bans all crowd-inducing events. Many cultural events still cannot be celebrated freely because they are bound by government regulations. besides that there are still around 5k - 6k people infected in a day, can this be said that the pandemic is over?
Obviously not. It's in your country but not for those that have won against it. It's not just all about your country but about those countries that have won it through their early countermeasures and safety protocols.
3150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallet to store XRP with good security features on: April 15, 2021, 06:20:09 PM
Buying a hardware wallet is what you need if you want to keep that asset for long term. It's also supported by Ledger which is the hardware wallet, you'll have no problem using this HW for long term as it's one of the most secure and common hardware wallets.

3151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eth Berlin Upgrade and Gambling on: April 15, 2021, 12:02:06 PM
It's just going to be the usual thing even with that update.

Gamblers will remain as what they've been doing and if they want to gamble with Ethereum, they will do it. But if they find it to be worth it to hold and use other alts for their gambling activities then they'll keep it.

But for the gamblers that don't have a choice and they only have ETH, they'll continue no matter what's with the update.
3152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency trading on: April 15, 2021, 10:51:34 AM
You should know what cryptocurrencies are and how volatile they are. And the best cryptocurrency for newbies to invest in is none other than bitcoin. It's the best choice that you can invest with that $1,000 bucks that you have.

The best strategy that I can suggest to you is to buy and hold first. Newbies are likely to easily lose their money because you don't know what you're doing. Practice first through crypto trading simulation which you can search on google.
3153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how find to Token Burning ? on: April 14, 2021, 07:29:39 PM
Just always check the announcement threads or crypto news website for most of the news about token burning. I haven't seen a website that deals only with token burning but they cater for most of the news that a project would come.

Also, you check the Altcoin Discussion and the Speculation of altcoins on the forum because someone who finds a news like that, they'll post it rightaway.
3154  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin are playing with the big boys and cleaning their energy footprint on: April 14, 2021, 06:42:01 PM
I don't really understand Coinbase which until now has had an increase in users. and as far as I know when on coinbase it only exchanges instantaneously and is less fun to trade than other exchanges. Is there anything here that can tell me, so that knowledge increases why Coinbase users are increasing this year.
They have reported even before that they're increasing in users. AFAIK, there are about 1 million users that were registered per month last year, you've got it right, that's per month, not the whole year-round.

And that's why the number of their users has increased over time and there's more for this year because we're in a bull run which most of the interest of the people are coming when they see huge prices for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
3155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you worst experience on crypto on: April 14, 2021, 06:15:45 PM
Careful in a way that you'll be more responsible in keeping your balances.

You'll be careful and won't be confident that you will keep your assets onto the exchanges just as what's most of the newbies are confident to do. You don't stay your assets on exchanges.

And, you will always be vigilant and careful with the websites you visit and online forms that you fill up.

Learned from it and start imporving your knowledge, with the setup of this industry where there are many hackers and scammers around, you really need to be more furios, experienced dictates what are the next moves to take.

If you want to avoid another hack to happened to you, be more vigilant and always update yourself with good securities to use.

It's your money and it's your responsibilites to keep it safe and aways from thos intruders who loves bypassing securities and sucking  others fund.
If it's a doubtful website and you don't think that it's a good one, skip it and don't click any link that's attached to it.

The security will start with you and that's all you need to remember. Be resourceful and if there are people who have shared their experiences in scams and hackers, learn from them too.

Experiences of others are also good lesson to learn from them to avoid such situations.
3156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ATH - those responsible. on: April 14, 2021, 01:43:17 PM
I'm both.

Shorted and sold lower than the price these days and still got some on the side which is going to be held for I don't know how long. But the encouragement that it has given to me has increased that I should've kept more while I can.

I wouldn't look to those people who have shorted, everyone has their own selling point to be made and the prices today if it's up and a good price, I would respect their decision that they've sold.
3157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you worst experience on crypto on: April 13, 2021, 06:53:03 PM
My worst experience is my Ethereum wallet getting hacked, this set me back a lot, thanks goodness we are seeing better security measures and I still believe we will continue to see more hacks in the space as new entrants enter the space, people always take security with levity until their account is hacked

What are your next steps to anticipate what you have experienced, it's the worst experience for those who feel it. The results of your hard work do not leave a mark if hackers take it. It's time to be more careful about taking careless actions and making big bad things happen.

3158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Burning cryptocurrency. on: April 13, 2021, 06:16:21 PM

Take note that it's not yet burned but the price keeps on shooting it up. I'm not shilling it but I'm thinking that it can go for more as it approaches and more after it burns.

CZ posted on Twitter that another burn is happening soon, hence why people are scrambling to buy more

https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1381277694705295362
That's right.

When an influential person like CZ tweets about his coin and the update about it, people rush to have it. Since it's about to happen within the next few days, this makes it going to be the best time for them to buy it.

Quite slowed down to $550 and all up to those investors who are coping up with the burning event.
3159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TLM on Binance. on: April 13, 2021, 05:42:54 PM
I don't have experience with that coin.

But with what I see on different groups, many are being hyped with that project because of what Binance does. I think most of the projects are being hyped thanks to Binance.

If it's not of that exchange and reward incentive, it won't be that popular much.

In this type of bull market all those projects listed on Binance normally shoot to the sky. Most of the people don't know what they are buying, only looking at the ticker and follow twitter "traders" shilling it. Even the pump&dump groups are still a thing. The greed pushed many to the limit.
After the bull run we will see which one will still be around... and which one will turn to be a scam.
That's too, people are buying it because they see it as the hype when we're still on the craze of ICO. The hype is the same just like those days with projects that are being listed on Binance.
3160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $1 million this cycle really possible? on: April 13, 2021, 05:00:14 PM
That nearly 15x is underrated.

If bitcoin will be on that the same pattern as last year, there could be a very chance that it will reach really high price. But not yet that high as $1m for this cycle.

We may need 2-3 more cycles for bull run for us to see that.
