2241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best casinos that gives dividends to token holders? on: February 22, 2022, 10:47:14 PM
I have traded owldao and it's easy to trade.

I haven't tried the staking but it's what I'm about to get on it soon. I'm just waiting for their release of the new staking pool since I don't want to get into other network that it is allowing.

Not because I'm part of their campaign, it's just my personal thought that you might ever consider and if you want to diversify then go with the others as suggested like FUN and BFG.

EDG
I've remembered this but they seem to be not active anymore.

If you are given two choices to choose from Azbit and coinsbit exchange which one will it be? I've not use any and I'm having difficult time passing KYC verification on coinsbit exchange but I want users experience about these two exchanges.
I wouldn't choose any of them.

I'll stick to the reputable ones that I know. If you're having difficult time for complying with a kyc on coinsbit. Then try kucoin.

There are still good exchanges out there that won't forced you to kyc. But with those choices you've given, I haven't tried any of them and I wouldn't use them.
2243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying for your taxi with Bitcoins !! on: February 22, 2022, 08:43:46 PM
I have no idea the stand of the Uber's CEO towards accepting bitcoin. But I'm always optimistic when it's being talked about as a payment for their services.

There is a possible chance that they'll soon accept it as they have probably already know that they can convert it immediately to fiat if they prefer by just using another third party as for this acceptance.
2244  Economy / Speculation / Re: The long term way is down on: February 22, 2022, 07:44:00 PM
Every year bitcoin continues to grow, the bear period will not be the same as 2018 which has to wait every year, because bitcoin's growth is very fast, many people are familiar with investing and the benefits of cryptocurrency. I'm sure the long term will lead to big gains, not downsides.
I just wish that it won't be the same as 2018 because that's what others are fearing of right now.

The comparison of 2017 and 2021 bull run is followed by a big bear market by its next year. And that can happen for this year even if we don't want to see it.

The possibility is high that a bear market shall really follow it and we are on that year.
2245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 21, 2022, 11:51:47 PM
In the All-Star events last night, the dunk contest wasn't very impressive actually. Toppin won the contest very easily as the other candidates weren't that much effective. Especially one of Toppin's dunks was really delightful to watch. Congrats to him on his prize! And the 3-pointer contest was much more exciting than this. Karl-Anthony Towns was the best by making it to 29 points. The closest rivals stayed at 26 the most and Towns won the prize. And tonight, it is time for the big All-Star game!
Congratulations for Obi.

Many would not be amazed with his dunks as they look simple and normal. But I agree that they're really delighting as I'm watching those dunks that he has made.

It's not the same with the past dunk contests held yearly in the past. The blast is different and it's understandable that many doesn't see it as good as the others in the past.

Crowd is there for sure, but as far as creativity, just a so-so dunk contest for me. Not sure if the players in this contest has prepared or what but we need to have a winner so it is Obi for this year.

And Jalen was a bit disappointment, I thought we will see some new dunks from him. But he looks like he is not into this contest and just trying to go with the motions.
They have prepared and that's likely but it's not enough.

Yeah, as for Jalen. Many were disappointed and thought that it's his year for the dunk contest but it's not. What do we call that disappointment, maybe the appropriate description is it's just lousy.

Well moving on, Lebron has said that he'll go wherever Bron is going for his last remaining year.
2246  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Traders how do you go about this? on: February 21, 2022, 10:42:17 PM
Since crypto exchanges are not safe for keeping funds and they are the best place for trading every day what strategy can I use to avoid bad luck? Send tokens to exchanges and withdraw they after trading every day?
That's how it should be if the fee isn't painful to you.

The other way is set an amount that you'll put in trading and you don't have to in and out with it every time you make a profit. It's like that letting that money stay there as you afford that amount to lose.

Not thinking about the bad thing but it's certainly a critical thing these days that most exchanges are being targeted by hackers.
2247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A thing worst than "don't trade with your emotion" a trader should avoid on: February 21, 2022, 09:26:18 PM
That's why I don't rely my decisions through influencers or YouTube videos that I've just seen. And as much as I can, I'm now avoiding to watch those videos.

These content creators are making sort of hype with their thumbnails just to make it very encouraging to watch and out of our curiosity, we'll watch them.

It's better to do my own analysis in the fundamentals since I can also do what they're doing about research.

It's not actually wrong to watch influencers or those who called themselves experts on Youtube as long as on our part, we should know what things are really good to execute to do. However, there are people who literally follow everything that these influencers are doing. Not wrong but it should be obvious that results and outputs are different from each other.

Not because we profit from these strategies, everyone will have the same output.

We all have skills in doing DYOR, it just needs improvement.
Yes, nothing wrong with watching.

But what's wrong is if you start to rely your decisions with what they're saying. We're still the ones that has the power to make our decisions and it should be no regrets when we decide.

There are still some information that could lead us to profit that comes from them.
2248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you consider the safety factor/risk of your invested tokens? on: February 21, 2022, 08:23:33 PM
Was wondering lately how you count and rank your token's security factor and risk before you invest in it?

Do you have a tool that you are using?

lats say that you are able and want o build such a tool how would you make it what you would add what you will remove?

I'm a student and doing a project for my study would like to hear your comments  Grin Wink
I don't use any tool.

It's just all about research and giving time for that research. There are a lot of information that you can find just sitting and looking for every information that you need as you look for that factor of security with the token you're about to invest.

As someone who's not good in technicals, there are people who are good in this field that are generous to share what they've found from the token that we're likely to research.

That's why DYOR is a very important piece of advise. Seems simple but it rules.

2250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost +$ 20k in future, advice for newbies on: February 20, 2022, 10:33:20 PM
Thanks for sharing, this is good for those traders, newbies or not that have been feeling greedy with their trades. Never ever forget to take profit and your capital if you can.

That's going to give you the confidence that you're doing good if you're taking them and going to keep trading with the remaining money from your profit.

It's going to give you a good feeling if you have secured a profit and your capital back in your hands.

There are only two days left if we count today too for the All-Star game. Team Lebron are going to be my favourite. Because the starting five is just awesome. It is full of one of the best players of this season like Giannis, Lebron, Curry, Jokic and DeRozan. They have been very good at scoring and carrying their teams so far. And I believe that they will win this all-star game by putting on a great show here. I wish that Durant returned from his injury now. And I really didn't see any meaning in choosing Andrew Wiggins for the all-star starting five at Team Durant.  Grin
I'm also for the Team Lebron.

Their team looks more solid than Team Durant. Just as Durant, he's got some players that are also prone to injuries. But, there's no competition on this and it's just a pure exhibition.

Let us just all enjoy the game which is about to come within a few days.
2253  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: February 19, 2022, 12:39:40 PM
I agree, the definition or the option between the two depends on the person itself.

You can choose when you already dealing with it and gaining compensations, the main factor is to earn and grow your investment
whatever the process, you take as long as you are getting a good result. That's the goal when participating in any type of investment.
And both of them are processes that we can earn more depending on how we're good are we with any or both of them.

Investors are gaining passively and the investment is maturing but requires a lot of time. I prefer this than to trade. I may suck in trading but in my experience, investing is more profitable.

Whilst the others, they're making their best deals of their life through trading and hopefully someday, we can be like them.
2254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter now supports Ethereum wallets on: February 19, 2022, 09:54:18 AM
The feature was added last year and I am not very much sure if I've seen plenty of people who have tried to tip through LN.

Well, just as the concern of others about the fees. It's not wise but very well a good addition for another crypto for their tipping service. Let's expect that there will be more soon in the future.

And those are likely to be the top altcoins.

Not that best but it will help them manage to attract and get more investors to hold Owl token.

Is anybody was able to trade on pancakeswap successfully w/ owl token?

Can you provide us more information about the issue you are having?
Please try raising the slippage.

The slippage is 10% and the error says:
Code:
insufficient_output_amount

As per my research, this is about having low liquidity.

This is correct for a low liquidity pool volume since the price distribution setup of smart contract will be very per distribution on each assign price so the tendency is the slippage will be high the moment you buy. Since you see that error using 10% slippage, It only means that your token amount that you want to sell will gonna cause more than 10% changes on the current price that's why your transaction denied, Try to increment it 1% until your transaction become successful.
I see that I'm doing the right thing.

I'll give an update on how much slippage take my order. What I've done is to test and decrease the amount of tokens that I'm about to sell but it's no good.

So this suggestion of yours might go and proceed. Thank you!
2256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about the new alts? on: February 18, 2022, 11:07:50 PM
you are willing an investment your capital on metaverse tokens, hope we will see incredible progress of those tokens in upcoming days but you should have to select the good one which difficult to predict. Mina protocol and sand, both are an established token, so i can recognised those for long run. but avoid shitcoin like cdt. Besides you can buy axie Infinity which got huge recognition, it leads keep publishing new NFT games and also sounds promising
Sand is promising.

And for Axie Infinity, it's either you buy an Axie, ron, SLP or AXS.

Actually if it's for Axie, I'll just get in with Ron and SLP. I think that the opportunity is with those tokens. I just think that for the early stage of that project, it's better to have those two, well, honestly axs is also a must have but I don't think I'll be investing a lot there.
2257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: February 18, 2022, 05:51:56 PM
BNB is a very sensational coin, this coin has been able to prove dominance with other altcoins in the cryptocurrency world, a coin with a market cap of 66 billion dollars is a very fantastic achievement, I am sure this coin will continue to advance and will give confidence to every investor who always support it.
And it's one of the coins that have remained at the peak, the ATH while bitcoin and the others have been down. IIRC, it was last year.

But not for now, bitcoin has stomped majority of the altcoins market and this is giving the idea that there's no exception whenever bitcoin is plummeting.

So, BNB and the others are also going where it progress.
2258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best way to make extra money on: February 18, 2022, 04:03:05 PM
So I think that the best way to earn extra money is the way of investing in a crypto-coin that has been proven over the years, which already brings good profits to many.
It's proven and tested which we have been able to experience.

But also be careful with projects that may good look to you. As always, DYOR, because it's the best thing to do if you're finding out a project that you may think is good for investing.

NFT, ICO, IEO and other type of those, they've became a source for extra money for many investors. But also be aware of scammers are also into those.
2259  Economy / Economics / Re: What's happening in Canada ? on: February 18, 2022, 02:13:23 PM
It's not a good move from the canadian government. It's not a good one to freeze the wallet of people who hold the cryptocurrency. Instead they can make a law.
That's what they're doing. They are the law and that's what they're implementing is based from what they think and there's no need to have it long to wait just to implement it.

It's not really a good move to freeze those accounts that might have been known to hold crypto. But they're into those protesters and that's the action that they're taking for them to mitigate the issue.

Because they can get a law in a parliament. The percentage of tax can be get from the people. At the last government get huge money for the government which can be used for the welfare of the government. Freezing of wallet opinion should be changed by the government. It's only way to earn some tax from people.
It's not the issue about taxation, it's more than that and the Canadian government doesn't care about it. They're only certain and targeting specific people.

The other has expired but there's still the other that's active but even it's active, I have tried there but it seems full already since it's not proceeding on me.
