3141  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Poll] Burnins BitFury miner on: September 15, 2013, 07:19:36 PM
I really want to hear what Burnin think about all of this ? you stated the price will be around 470€, how can you let your partner take such advantage out of this ? you still can make this right it is not too late....
3142  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / ASIC manufacturers " thinking outloud" on: September 15, 2013, 06:26:41 PM
OK, I am always watching for new prototypes, just a couple of hours ago, CryptX burnins partner opened on their online store to offer the Bitbar fury prototype for first week of October delivery, It is so cool right ? wait till you see the price....

Again an overpriced Product which is totally disappointing, Burnin stated that the prototype will cost around 470€ - less than 5BTC at today exchange price, but again companies want to take advantage and suck the blood out of miners, they expect us to take all the losses, and they are so comfortable to make an exaggerated profits over all of us.

that been said , I am starting to think that the medium and small miners will start getting out of the mining game very soon, which will lead big companies ( manufacturers) to opening their own mining operation, the same like ASICMINER, we will see few big companies like that controlling the network with their hash power(not good) this is exactly what we call a centralization of the network hash power, which can be a threat not only for end users but to everyone, this will even drive to a competition between them, which will lead to even more instability of Bitcoin price.

I am just thinking out loud, I do not know what will happen till the end of the year, but I am sure it will get more interesting, most of calculator I was using is showing a negative income for most existing or to exist prototypes, and Investing in a pre-order now is like investing in the Unknown.

thinking about the pricing of first Batch avalon and first BFL products, when 60 Gh/s was offered for around 1300$, makes me question all offers from these new manufacturers.....

I really want to hear what do you think ? what kind of scenarios we are expecting ?

3143  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Poll] Burnins BitFury miner on: September 15, 2013, 06:01:17 PM
Just like to point out, me and bartech would be more than happy to have you guys buying from us, as prices that make sence Smiley

what do you offer ?
3144  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 7x BFL SC 60 GHz on: September 15, 2013, 05:41:35 PM
BTW this is not the auction section, any one can edit his post, this wont work out the way you think! and 15BTC starting price seems really unrealistic

just to clarify my statement "Bitburner Fury (incl. chips) 40 GH/s – 80 GH/s" 64Gh/s was demonstrated, is selling 699€ or 7BTC the first week of October delivery, and people are crying and not happy over these prices.

these boards consume max 100W, your singles consume almost 300W

https://www.asic-hardware.com/product/bitburner-fury-incl-chips/

you will have a hard time selling these singles at these prices, good luck any ways

Many people asked (and obtained) Avalon chips refunded because of clear issues with the ROI, and we all know how good is http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/ to understand the current situation in term of difficulty increase (sadly...).

If we consider the costs and the mining potential of the new burning project and we stick them in the genesis block this is what comes out...is this correct?

http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/d5f045682e

This is not a critic, I think this a realistic view of the current situation. I genuinely think that burnin and Cryptx are doing their best in reducing the costs, but delivering a competitive product at this stage is very very difficult if you don't produce the chips!!

Can you clarify the use of 9 BTC as "Cost of Hardware"?

he is right, the cost of hardware without shipping is 8.5 BTC at the moment, add shipping and you get 9.25BTC

Including VAT this is correct.

yes, that is right, sadly 90% of miners don't have companies to skip paying VAT, and big players wont buy this hardware, they aim for larger and cheaper and better for their mining operation, so you are selling these boards to end customers like me who cant afford that kind of loss
3146  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Poll] Burnins BitFury miner on: September 15, 2013, 04:58:43 PM
This is a not-so-optimistic calculation, but still on the optimistic side: http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/313b4a0fac

So you might get about 0.5 btc over your initial 9btc investment...
I'm not sure how is this supposed to make me want to go for it...

to be honest this is the most close to reality scenario if we include the hardware coming online in October, i will exclude KNC as there is no prove of a working hardware, I will try to speculate about bitfiry only

http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/313b4a0fac

I add shipping costs and PSU cost to run these boards, forget about the Raspberry PI because it i so cheap so I didn't add that , a 100% difficulty rise a months still looks optimistic

assuming they will work on 80Gh/s and you did choose  October, so you have to cut the first week off and assuming that diff factor will rise only 83% a month.... there you did put the best scenario ever
3149  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Poll] Burnins BitFury miner on: September 15, 2013, 04:38:42 PM
Can we get a price breakdown?
Bitfury chips are worth ~ 360 eur/ board.
If the bitburner board costs about ~150 eur to be produced, components & shipping & profit included, why the hell does this cost two times as much.
Seriously...

Bitfurystrikesback:
http://www.bitfurystrikesback.com/product/400gh-miner-october-2013/
16,25€/GH

ASIC HARDWARE:
https://www.asic-hardware.com/product/bitburner-fury-complete-system/
10,74€/GH

I am really disappointed of ASIC manufacturer, each new product comes out to suck out the blood of miners, you could lower your price and sell larger quantity, and you would make the same profit. but each time you aim on making a hell out of miners, you do realize that the last few months miners suffered the most with this pre-order scheme, and delaying not delivering tragedy.

I suggest you to study your prices again, and make a better offer that serve both parties.
3150  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Poll] Burnins BitFury miner on: September 15, 2013, 04:19:53 PM
When KNC ship, defiantly wont ROI.

even if you don't count KNC it wont ROI
3151  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Poll] Burnins BitFury miner on: September 15, 2013, 04:12:29 PM
Holy **** 925€ with shipping to Slovenia, I wont see ROI even if i get it next week, I was so happy when Burnin stated 470€ but now i am really Disappointed.  Undecided
3152  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] in HAND ASIC prototype BFL or Blade erupter, Only from EU on: September 15, 2013, 02:37:49 PM
I am still looking for 3 units, price 13-15BTC depending on the shape of items, location and cost of shipping.

so any news ? judging from the difficulty factor retarget, and that you wont sell all units at 13BTC each, I am dropping my offer for all the units, but I am still interested on buying 3 units, I would like to work out a reasonable price for both of us, Hit me with a PM with your thoughts on the subject.

I need to know ASAP each day you delay is a minus for the buyer, a buyer needs to get these units way before the next retarget to get the maximum before October as many companies will deliver and difficulty will skyrocket again.

mmitech, regards.
3156  Economy / Auctions / Re: Judging intrest on selling 60GH BFL units in UK on: September 14, 2013, 02:28:30 PM
in other thoughts I might be interested on taking all of them (5) if the price is right. PM me if you are interested
3157  Economy / Auctions / Re: Judging intrest on selling 60GH BFL units in UK on: September 14, 2013, 01:58:02 PM
FEI (for everyone's information) I will know by tomorrow night if buyer wants the two units ( I did promise him first refusal, I like to keep my word) If you are interested in the lot, I WILL write back to you after this time is up.

ATM I am not interested on buying the hole lot, I am really willing to take the risk for only 3 units, I tried all calculator and various values for thiese units 15 BTC will never bring ROI 13BTC will bring me close to ROI next mid year.

I even posted today that I need 3 units, I've bought 3 units successfully before. you can check up my thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=282138.msg3152166#msg3152166.

my offer is valid for 12 hours. good luck  Wink

potentially interested if the price is right Smiley

P M'd

The price is around 15-20 BTC right now. Generally towards 15BTC

ok, noted, thanks

what is the price for 2 ?

So far I have POTENTIALLY sold two for 40 coins (20 each), Waiting for response, So for now, I will drop from 25 coins to 20 coins a piece (comes with PSU and USB lead) Three units remaining unless Buyer backs out.  (one has a bad PSU from BFL the 6pin PCI-e is damaged, The power unit still works, I will send a bridged PSU with this unit to power it, AND send the BFL PSU for you to fix)

I will pay 40BTC for all remaining units(3?) today and you ship in Monday express shipping from UK ( I will cover shipping and escrow as well), you start mining in my account till Monday and the power supply is not a problem I will plug my PSU ( of course if you agree for this price)

Hiya, Thanks for the offer, At this time, I am not going to 13.33 per unit. I will inform publicly when I drop lower.

so what is the final price for all 3 ?
