3161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: March 21, 2021, 04:38:58 PM
So I bought BTC at £9000, made a nice amount. Is it a good idea to now sell this and move that money into alt coins? or should I  sell half BTC and buy back in after alt season is finished?

What do you think?
You have already made a huge profit, but it still seems to me like the market still has a long way to go, since it broke a new ATH level of $60,000, although that’s not enough reason for you to not sell, as long as you feel you have reached your target and even surpassed that, then you’re good to go and can sell at anytime.

As for investing the money in altcoins, I don’t really know about that, are you sure that altcoins are good choice to make now? I do have altcoins, Stellar and Ethereum. I bought 4 ETHs around the price of $180 for each and I haven’t thought about buying Ethereum again since then and I’m still holding just the ones I have bought back then, the price is now more than ten times. It’s always best to buy altcoins at the time they are low, I don’t know if there will be another altcoins season this year or next, apart from the one we have seen so far. But anyway, there might be.
3162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 million bitcoins is the same as 21 trillion bitcoins (for us now) on: March 21, 2021, 09:21:55 AM
Even with this 21 million bitcoins that we have, I don’t think there is going to be a time when you will want to buy Bitcoin and you will be told that there isn’t any Bitcoin available in the market.

There will always be bitcoins for anyone to buy, although I have noticed that lots of institutions are now buying up so many bitcoins, storing them in their wallets and keeping them from circulating, but the price has been increasing to match the level of demand that has been coming into the market and that’s how it will keep on increase. But, I believe that the number of bitcoins in the market can be increased, but the devs just don’t want to do that.
3163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best stable coin when selling crypto? on: March 21, 2021, 04:48:30 AM
Both USDT and BUSD is so good. But I think overall USDT is good and more popular and uses by every trader. You can exchange your coin to USDT in most of the exchanger. But you can't convert your coin to BUSD in only Binance platform. Also USDT withdraw fee is low and transaction fee is low. So this is more preferable.
For that reason, I think most Binance users prefer Binance USD while other traders who don't use Binance would more prefer Tether USD. I don't think any of them is better than the other because both the coins serve the same purpose and only trust might be the difference and for that part, I trust Binance more than Tether.

Traders prefer using USDT over BUSD but the truth there is That the two coins are both stable coins and are very good, USDT is more popular and is listed in many exchanges than BUSD and also USDT is more preferable because of its popularity, traders find USDT pairs more convenient in trading than any other stable coins.
Tether has a bigger volume too and hence a more packed market. Traders are used to of trading in USDT and hence they don't want to change it unless they face some problems.

I do use USDT sometimes because not everywhere BUSD is accepted, but nowadays I have moved to TRC-20 chain because of the high transaction fees on the ERC-20 chain.
3164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUSD Vs. USDT on: March 21, 2021, 04:12:04 AM
They are both quite centralized, having a decentralized stablecoin is possible and it is being done right now on many chains as well, they are not ideally great right now but they are working so far and haven't failed which is why I think it is quite important that we promote them instead of these centralized ones.

But, if I have to pick one, there is no a single ounce of respect in my mind against Tether who does what they do only for profiting off others money while not caring about the outcome for others, whereas BUSD is binances stablecoin and they do care about their customers, because if they do not care that means they will upset their customers and lose money, so they will work really hard to make BUSD work a lot more than Tether would care. This isn't a good reason to be better, but it doesn't change the fact that they are definitely better in the end.
3165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie traders - Learn from my mistakes on: March 21, 2021, 03:36:33 AM
Just admit the reality that Trading is not for everyone .
It is the harsh reality unfortunately, like not everyone can be a singer despite everyone believing they are good at singing, similarly not everyone has the required qualities for being a trader. Being in the crypto community for a long time, I have seen that a lot of guys came after others but became way more successful because they are natural traders while some still trying to find a guide that can help them trade since years.

Just like the reality that Not everyone can become Millionaire , this deserves only some people.
Deserve ain't the correct word. I would rephrase it as "Not everyone has the fortune of being a millionaire" because again, I have seen people who deserve more in life getting the least.

for thousands that venture in trading , More than half fails and not because they are weak or fool but because they are not really for this.
A thread here at bitcointalk I was reading a few days back, showed that 95% of people fail at trading so yeah more people fail than succeed at trading. I think one should try for a few years in trading and if they fail continuously without any signs of improvement, they should just stop. If one is improving then there is hope.
3166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sources of information on: March 20, 2021, 04:46:38 PM
Coindesk is a good source of information, but I think you will find better information on Cointelegraph, and why I think this one is better is because they are always doing this technical analysis like every day or weekly, something like that, and you can be checking them out daily or so to know what they are going to be posting, it will help keep you up to date and also help you to know when you’re going to be investing.

But don’t try to limit yourself to just these few sites, there are so many other reliable sites out there that also talks about cryptocurrency market, even some of the biggest media that you will least expect to do so, they are all supporting and writing about it. So sometimes if you don’t see the information you’re looking for, a simple search on Google can help you bring a lot of current articles from reliable sites.
3167  Economy / Economics / Re: Free Market Efficiency vs GPU Scalpers on: March 20, 2021, 04:09:34 PM
Free market is a capitalist lie to keep the poor people at the bottom and the rich people willing to do unethical and immoral stuff to make money. If the market is free enough, and there is nearly no regulations, people could die and the companies that make money from that would be happy about it.

Look at the example of HIV drug that Martin Shkrelli's group bought, that literally means they want to make money from the misery of others, and this is not like finding some cure and selling it, that is legit business, this buying the whole stock and charging more, meaning they are willing to let some people die for profit. Long story short free market was never something that would mean anything good, it was something that capitalist wealthy people wanted in place and they bribed it into media, into politics and into everything they can get their hands on to make it look like it is a good thing.

@TheQuin, would it be possible to update the EARN BTC interest calculator to include the interest earned from the premium program? Currently the daily/monthly/yearly calculator gives the numbers for the base rate. Not too big of a deal but it would be nice to see what is actually going to be earned that day/month/year.

I'll suggest it to wetsuit but my first thought is that it would be too complex with all the different bonus levels.
What if we did like individual thing for the interest rate? You know how I see 60+ satoshi per claim right now whereas someone who joins for the first time sees much smaller right? Well that means you guys are capable of making something look one way for someone and another way for someone else right? That is why I think it is obvious that we could make these things look possibly different for each person based on their fun token amount?

Let's say I own 5000 tokens now and my interest should be a bit higher than base, and someone else had more fun tokens and for months and that person should look more than me as well. Just like how you do the faucet number thingy changing from person to person based on some stuff, you guys could probably do the same thing for the people who have fun token based on how much and for how long and make their interest rate look different all from each other.
3169  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: March 20, 2021, 02:01:23 PM
This time, unfortunately, I have "only" 59 tickets.
But considering that last time someone won with only 4 tickets, there is still a small chance... Cool

I only has 24 but I'm not losing hope lol because like what you said Last winner only have 4 tickets but Manage to win so why not us that has 2 digits on our hands  Wink

and besides it is not easy to accumulate tickets when you are not really a Big time or a Regular gambler.

Last time one user had a win with 27 raffles, not 4. This time the competence is very high, because one player has got raffles less than 1000. The raffle contest has been getting more importance among the gamblers, and this can be understood from the increasing wager leading to the increase in raffles.
if you are a Fan of Luck , for sure you will still have confidence even if i only has small tickets and when others has thousands .
Yeah, you should not lose hope because everyone can be a winner, in these type of games the winner is not decided by how much you have but how lucky you are. I have seen in another place where a guy with 5+ million tickets won 6th place and a guy with just 1 ticket won the first place, literally just one ticket and that was what really gave me a lot of hope, that is why we should not be losing hope about this at all, it will definitely be something that will be possible as long as you are lucky.

I still do not have much, just 11 tickets so far but I haven't gambled here too much, and I am going probably not gamble much neither for a while too but next time this happens I am planning purely just gambling here so that I can get as much tickets as possible, I want to see how high I can get, not because it would mean I will win, but at least it would be a bit more helpful.
3170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading your strategy on DEMO is a waste of time on: March 20, 2021, 09:05:50 AM
I have no intention of riling up anyone, but as a learning trader it is good that we discuss facts with one another. The first truth is that there is no spare money anywhere in the world; every money are valuable. To improve your trading psychology, you must practice your trade strategies on a live trade; even if you start out with 10$; you need to feel the heat, be under pressure.
That is right and unless there is the pressure of losing money in trading, the decisions will be either careless or reckless which both might lead to big profits and also loss, and create an illusion for the trader that he has learned all the skills and is ready to roll now. Real trading happens when you have the pressure of not losing the money and hence take minimal risks.

Taking risks almost anyone can make money or lose money, more like gambling. The real skill develops when we are feeling the heat like you said and make a profit without taking much risk, if at all.

But all that been said, for some people it is worth learning basics with smaller capital. I mean take the capital seriously and trade like this is all you got, but trading will never be successful in first time so keep bigger capital for later once you have learned some basic skills.
3171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: most amazing picture I have ever seen on: March 20, 2021, 08:08:07 AM
Yeah, the graphic is from Binance as the top left corner has their logo. Now, I want to thank them because they have outlined the mistakes almost accurately, but I would be rather more interested if they could create some educational videos about how to overcome these problems along with this chart. Pointing out mistakes is one of the easiest things to do, even easier when we are asked to point those in someone else but not us.

Emotional trading is such a thing that when you are doing it, you won't realize unless someone who knows better comes and points it out specifically. Almost all of the traders in crypto have gone through times when we buy some coin because everyone was buying it, like right now it can be said for dogecoin, without actually analyzing, which is what emotional trading/investing actually is.
3172  Economy / Speculation / Re: get a loan and reinvest it on: March 20, 2021, 07:40:20 AM
I wouldn't say no to this right away, I never really understood people who looked at loans the way some huge companies look, you do not have to do something that big, there are small loans as well. For example, taking out a 2k loan is still a loan, taking out a 10k loan is a loan as well, you do not have to take out 100k loan, get a small loan even a person that works on mcdonalds could pay, and invest it right away into something that would get you money, and you could repay the loan with your salary and keep doing that constantly.

It is a very valid method for people who can't save money, if you have to put some of your salary aside and live with the rest and save that small amount aside each month to get to 2k and fail to do that because you end spending it, getting a loan is a much better method if you ask me. This is why I am not against loans, I am against bad loans, there is a difference.
3173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on exchange tokens? on: March 20, 2021, 03:51:09 AM
I believe things like Uni token and Cake token are actually quite good, they are really doing something great with those because it is really profiting you something while owning it but you can also govern it if given the right as well. Think about it, you can increase the trading fee and make more money but lose customers but you could drop it and decrease the profits but gain more people, maybe one way you would make more money or the other way you make more money, it is given to you.

I think it is a great deal to own an exchanges token, there are way too many things you can do with it, and I like it considering there is a reason for it to be bought, there is a usecase, all those staking and liquidity providing, those are amazing things and that is what I have been looking for in a coin, a great usecase that people would be willing to use for a long time so the token would worth something.
3174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking is not for Muslims on: March 20, 2021, 03:01:38 AM
I live in a nation that has a lot of Muslims and I can say that they do not care about this at all. There are some "sacred" stuff that they try not to do, like maybe eating pork, because that doesn't really change their life that much, hell I can eat pork and I do not even like it, but when it comes to making money, they do not care about it, here they call it "profit sharing" and still do it, it is same thing as interest and just a different name and they still do it, so basically it is all about what others would say, as long as others do not hear about it, they would be willing to do whatever they can.

I have seen way too many things they have done that is a sin in Islam, but I have seen many many Christians do it too, so it is not really about the religion, it is about people and we as humans are not fine with being told what we can or can't do.
3175  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $5,000 Race Every Wednesday! Advanced Dice Game 🎲 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: March 19, 2021, 06:07:25 PM
Am looking forward to your sportsbook addition Wolf.bet. Am hoping you guys can provide a lag free experience unlike sites like Stake etc where their UI is laggy quite often(Especially when placing live bets).

Also, if you guys are looking for beta testers, sign me up. I have been a beta tester for sites like Exbet etc during their early stages.
Its an small issue with stake that needed to look up to so maybe more people should report it to them so that they will find ways how to make the user experience smooth since if they will continuously have that issues well most provably their users will go away and find better bookies that can offer them better service.

Also I'm looking forward to make that things happen here in wolfbet since its so good to have more options on where to bet if we don't like the experiences and odds on different platform.
Tons of people reported it, stake is known for slow progression of their updates and love for whales, I do not want to put another place down in another casinos topic, stake is cool and all but they are just a bit slow, they have a roadmap and just follow that and do not put fixes and patches in between that's all I wanted to say.

But wolf.bet on the other hand is doing something better, sportsbook will be great but look how they care about everyone instead of just some people. Want example? When abusers tried to take advantage of 7 day streak, they literally dropped it and instead lowered the minimum withdrawal for the coins, that means instead of people who farm that, everyone gains something from it, I am sure it even costs more for them. This is why I like this place, they treat everyone equally and that makes it a lot better than many others.
3176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading from Scratch on: March 19, 2021, 05:00:59 PM
The first thing you need to get started trading bitcoin is to open a bitcoin wallet. Bitcoin traders are actively seeking the best possible solutions for trading and investing in bitcoin.
Choosing the right wallet is actually important because some of the users are considering exchanges as wallets which is a bad mentality and better to use a proper wallet that gives you full control (private keys) and after trading you should withdraw funds into the wallet.

Minimize trading costs. ...Watch Trading times. ... Make sure to follow Bitcoin News. ... The use of technical analysis is essential. ... Finally, use stop losses.
Minimizing trading costs is not within our hands though but yeah some exchanges have lower fees, but also keep in mind if the exchange itself is trusted. I would rather pay a small extra fee to Binance than trading at HitBTC for example.

Follow Bitcoin news but don't get carried away if a celeb is buying or a big company is selling the coins, make sure you know the decisions are not based on someone else's opinions. Your money, your thoughts and your actions. Lots of guys recently jumped on the hype train of doge coin initiated by Elon Musk but I have a feeling they will fall flat very soon.
3177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to buy Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2021, 03:23:24 PM
I made the same Mistake in 2017 , When i thought the Bullrun continuing the Flow until the end of the year or at least the start of the 2018 like what happen last 2020, But I'm wrong and what happens is when the time i have a Emergency loan to invest in Bitcoin that is the start of the Fall and my funds got trapped for the whole 2018 and makes harder to fill the Loan though i managed to pay it back until 2019 , so now i will never give same advice for any of you , Better to Just invest all you can from your Own money and not from any loans from company or even in individual because the volatility will eat you alive .
This is the difference, if you get a loan that you can pay back with your regular salary, that means you can take out a loan, but if you take a loan with the idea that you will pay back when crypto goes up, that is a bad loan. For example, let's say you have 5k salary per month (whatever fiat, dollars, euro, not important for this example) and you spend 4k of that every month and save 1k per month and you buy crypto with that, if you think that crypto will go up, instead of waiting, you can get 10k loan, pay it back in 12 months with interest and until that year ends bitcoin could do 2x and you would have 8k profit easily thanks to that.

It could drop as well, but you already save 1k per month anyway so you will not have to touch your crypto. If you did that during 2017 bull run, you would have 3x your profit even from peak of 2017 to peak of 2021 levels which was 20k to 60k levels.
3178  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin millionaire lists reasons most will never be rich on: March 19, 2021, 02:33:48 PM
Like most of the time becoming a millionaire is a combination of factors, as you say even if you are smart enough to tell that you have a great opportunity in front of you, you have no way to take advantage of it without money, however this is important even if you are unable to take advantage in the best way possible when it comes to bitcoin the fact you have identified the opportunity means that you could do so again which means you need to try to save as much money as possible so you can now take advantage of that new opportunity when the time comes.
Even if you do not have money right now, bitcoin is something that has been around for years, and it has been talked on mainstream media for years as well, I am not saying you should have joined in 2010, but even 2017 was talked about a lot, and I mean like seriously a lot. Of course depending on where you live finding 10k dollars to invest could be very difficult, I never had that kind of money before bitcoin as well, but you could always work hard and get some money, and you could always work and study hard to learn trading and if you got in here in the past 4-5 years, you could have earned and profited your way into having some money.

After that all you had to do is put it all on bitcoin last march and this march you would have x10+ more profit as well. This is why I think "not having money" is a bad excuse, you need to actually be all-in support of bitcoin or if you are afraid then you won't make money.

Okay, so I have about 20 referrals now, but almost all of them just like playing several times and then produce 0 recent commissions a.k.a disappear. Is this because people who click on my referral are not the correct ones? Collecting free sats should be tempting to the one who currently doesn't have BTC, plus they can use it to buy lottery tickets to win big... I don't understand.
Today my referral count is 40 and only a few I consider as a worthy downline.

I think the audience should be gamblers who like the reload button, instead of just promoting the free faucet to the mainstream. FUN token, WOF, will also attract users who like risky investments.
As a person who has never deposited a single cent here, but managed to be here for years all thanks to affiliates, I think I can answer this, or hopefully try to answer this. You will have people who do not play here, that’s the main bulk of the people you refer, that is going to be the 90% of the people that come here, they will get here sing up hang here for maybe few hours and leave, not everyone has to love it here or if you do not go into detail you may just think "this is a place that gives incredibly tiny amount per hour, it is worthless" and leave when you do not check all the other things.

However 1-5% of your referrals will stay, and most of those people will leave eventually as well, less than 1% becomes a huge gambler. I have brought over 300+ people here and I can say that I had about 7 people who gambled more than a month and only 2 people who still gamble to this day, that’s 2 out of 300+ people. It is a bit luck as well of course.
3180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prepare for the big and long dump this year. on: March 19, 2021, 09:31:26 AM
Ethereum , xrp and Dot is best three combination altcoins that will gives you a lot of profit in the future if you buy it and hold it right now it will gives you more money few years from now.
Why Ripple is going to give a lot of profit? Did they managed handle with SEC claims? Did they become a new banking system with cheap and quick payment? Are they used worldwide? Did Ripple achieved its goal already? Cant say that they completed a lot of milestones from roadmap during last few years or changed and improved dramatically. Why would they "give a lot of money in few years" then?
No they haven't, and they are not going to manage to handle it that easily neither, they are literally giving their own created money in exchange of real money as a company, how could you manage to explain this to SEC without getting in trouble? These are the good days of XRP actually, we are nowhere near where it should be, it will become such more problems for them when the results come in from SEC and they will be both punished, and many many things they do will be banned, XRP will be out of top 10 first, then it will be out of top 20 eventually but that will take some time.

People do not realize how hard it is for a "company" to create a coin and profit from it, they used their own coins to move money around, that is where they screwed up, if they just created a token and let it be, they might have been fine but they created a coin and profited from it.
