anyone have a list of mainstream pools and where to apply to get added
What do you consider mainstream ? It has a negative Touch IMHO ...

|

where to mine now? "stratum requested work restart" constantly on both suprnva and bloqry...
maybe someone could tell me how to mine solo on Ubuntu server?
Pool is under constant ddos for about two days now but I've already Blacklisted most of the bad ips, generally it should be okay most of the time. Just use your miner and put all pools in the cmdline so it will Auto switch between the pools in case one goes down

// miner's coin base reward based on nBits int64_t GetProofOfWorkReward(unsigned int nBits, int64_t nFees, int nHeight) { int64_t nSubsidy = 0 * COIN; if (nHeight == 1) return 10000000 * COIN; if (fDebug && GetBoolArg("-printcreation")) printf("GetProofOfWorkReward() : create=%s nBits=0x%08x nSubsidy=%" PRId64 "\n", FormatMoney(nSubsidy).c_str(), nBits, nSubsidy);
return nSubsidy + nFees; }
What's the point of POW?
moving the chain...

Yes the pool has loads of shares to calculate because the DDoS bogged down the calculations, it's currently catching up but will probably need a few hours until it has fully catched up with the calculations.
Awesome, thanks - definitely not complaining because as always, the pool's been super stable, and I for one liked the new interface haha - only thing I found myself missing was the worker stats box on the dashboard. all should be good by now. I'd recommend using the other pool(s) as well at least as a backup as I don't know if the attacker comes back. There still appear to be some issues. I'm getting some workers dropping off the list occasionally due to infrequent share submissions, but I'll ride it out. Cheap shot: I wouldn't have been able to tell with the new interface. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) It's curious that the ddos coincided with the price rise. Edit: The stratum diff is much higher than previously. My i7 often has a diff over 10, that never happened before. It's been over 10 minutes since my core2quad submitted a share. I don't know if it has anything to with the ddos or mitigation or unrelated. Ah thanks for that, I almost forgot to reduce it again. It should be a bit higher initially but should go down pretty fast if you don't submit shares fast enough. The reason for the DDoS ? Hmm... Unsure, but probably someone with a big farm wants to solo mine and needs pools to go down so the diff lowers for him.

Hi ! It should be the same like for the others, just use "hodl" as mining kernel. Which error do you get ?

Fixed
All of my clients are showing shares being accepted, but the frontend isn't showing any new blocks since quite a few back, nor any deposits for a bit either. Looks like confirmed balance is going up, so I'm assuming everything's working, just not updating since the DDoS you were talking about. There's currently a DDoS going on at the pools frontend - I'm working on it.

Still: no slack. no website. No major Excange. Almost no PR. No Community Management Still such pretty early and much under the Radar imo.
This has a shitton of Uptrend in the Tank. Even Polo might add Hodl because of the innovative af compounding Interest.
Future looks NUTS dawgs.
I have no idea why 'Trex hasnt listed it.. It has innovative tech, new algorithm, no ico or premine.. A community behind it and it even won 'trex vote in Slack some time ago.

I've updated suprnova to the latest version, however it seems some other nodes didn't and they are orphaning our blocks.. I hope they'll update soon or the dev rejects the old blocks..
Never mind - I just reverted to the old version

Regarding Blockquarry: I'm also getting stratum errors several times a day. Stratum connection failed....
For the moment i switched to maxminers.net and i can see that most miners also switched. If there is more pools please post here. Regards I've been using suprnova but they recently changed their web interface and removed a lot of useful information such as unconfirmed balance and worker hashrates. Other than that brain fart I haven't had any problems with them. OCMIner are you reading? You didn't respond to my post in the suprnova pool thread. Hi ! All that info is still there, maybe you mean the live dashboard ? It's a new look on HODL, let me switch back to the old theme for you, i'm still working on the other one.

So read a lot about possible relaunch etc. Now on relaunch is the current chain being scrapped and starting from scratch? Just curious. 7.5 bil coins sure went pretty quick. sha256 is bad bad bad for mining. It puts the bulk into those who have mining systems and not very many others. lyra2rev2 or something should be used so that more people can get there hands on this coin via mining and not just those with mining rigs. Take the hashing power away from the full blown miners and your girls coin can moon. Good Luck. _- Watching Hi EpyxZ Relaunch is a 100% thing now and its already set to take place in a few days. The blockchain never got past blokck eleven so essentially there where only about 100.000 coins mined ouot of the 7.5B total supply. Essentially i agree with you on the fact that sha256 is maybe somehow are wrong choice for the algo. But do note that PoW stage for LanaCoin is set for aprox 7 years and bitcoin block halving is just around the corner in eta 2 months so a lot of miners from all over the world will drop their mining operation. Some will look for another coin to mine some will sell their asic ..... Older models of for exampe antminers as quite affordable so anyone that wants to give pool mining LanaCoin a shot can get started for a neglectable cost. Lyra3rev2 is great but one can already rent rigs for the algo as well at least from the offers the leading rig rental services are offering. Essentially there are only a few algos that are truelly asic/rented rig resistant but for almost any algo someone has a rig setup. Ty for your comments i appreciate any feedback from community ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Use a new algo and you're good for the first blocks for sure
