yes i feel i will sell most my coins now too Me too. I'm just waiting for my last 4 tickets to come in. Only thing that may change my mind is if an official, fully functional, GUI wallet for mainnet comes out. Then I may consider holding on to the little that I have left. I bought these coins at about 290K when it first came on Bittrex, so with all the tickets I staked, I did ROI and then some. I actually think this coin has held up quite well, considering the airdrop, mining and staking. That's a lot of dump pressure.

If anyone is interested in some creative work, please check out RFP-7. It's about crafting Decred's identity, aligning that identity across the different platforms, and a redesign of https://decred.org. The code is maturing well after a ton of usage in the first three months. There's been a lot of development activity in the underlying system, but it's also important to pay attention to the front-end after all that improvement in the back-end. It may be of interest if you're looking for a side project and have an interest in web design.

There are actually hundreds of lousy Bitcoin copy alt-crypto currencies that I do not care about. At all. Like Dogecoin or Trumpcoin or Fedoracoin and what-have-you coin. Do you know how often I post in those coins' threads? You guessed it: I never post in those threads. You know why? Because I don't care about those coins. I post in the Decred thread and in the XCP (Counterparty) threads because I think there's something extremely interesting about these two projects. This is what rational behavior looks like: you spend your valuable free time for things you care about... So the people who spam this thread with FUD - they are either a) irrational, spending time for things they do not care about; or b) have ulterior motives. They claim their "ulterior motive" is humanitarian, to "help others by warning them", well if you believe that, you might as well believe in unicorns. Anyway, I've been following Bitcoin since its price was well below $1 and every time its price was dropping, people were saying "it's over, it's dead"... Yawn.

Maybe better question is: why are you trolling here? but ok: - no GUI wallet so far (in progress) => mostly experienced users use it now - no mktg. campaign: IMHO no need now, plenty of time for that - whales are elsewhere (or quiet and accumulating ;-)

AFAIK, none yet is open to public on mainnet. Exception is the original/first one that is maintained by the devs, but that one is not accepting new registrations last I heard. PoS pools should be opening soon though, there's a vast amount of testing going on with the last stretch, the implementation of pool fees.

No, not yet. The mainnet stake pool operators have been extremely helpful and diligent in testing the stake pool software in the background. Fees have been integrated as well to ensure operation remains sustainable for the service they will provide to the network. You can see that they've been posting status updates from post #48 onwards.

Hopefully this update will not crash. I've updated the wallets for www.zpool.ca and will monitor for issues. Thanks

The price is really low, but it's just a good moment to get in for the long term run... There is real potential in Decred.
