3161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Crypto With a Job.. on: December 08, 2022, 05:41:40 PM
Those of you with normal jobs, are you day trading or mainly long term crypto investors/ HODLers?!!
Long term holding for guaranteed gains is much better. This way you don't risk your money with day trading and don't risk decreasing your productivity at work and receiving a warning from your boss and even a dismissal, depending the case. There are so many people looking for a stable job nowadays that those who are in a position like that must be very thankful and do their best to fulfill every obligations with excellency. And never delude yourself thinking trading is more important and rewarding that a fixed job. It's not easy to earn money with crypto, unlike virtual gurus state, and there is the aggravating there is no guarantee of profits and there is no guarantee a potential job you find here will last and give you stability.
3162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proof Of Income Will This Pass on: December 08, 2022, 05:04:34 PM
Ok, suddenly the casino you're playing asks you for proof of income to be able to withdraw your winnings and to keep your account in good standing, your bankroll every month is $500 and you provide proof of salary that you are making $500 net every month, will they accept that proof will they accept that you are putting all your salary for gambling, will this violate the principle of gamble for fun, because you are working to gamble based on your proof income.
I think a requirement like this won't be ever asked by the casino. It limits too much gambling activity. Someone doesn't even need a wage to gamble. There are people who live with their families and have all their expenses paid by the family. They earn "free money" and use this money to gamble. Then would they have to say this to the casino while also presenting a justification on why their relatives give them money for nothing?

If so, even criminals who are laundering money can use this excuse. So, nothing changes compared to the currently scenario.
3163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you experienced this kind of gambling on: December 08, 2022, 03:57:58 PM
I knew this kind of strategy existed, but I didn't know people got the numbers to bet from players' uniforms displaying on TV. Commonly, people bet on numbers they dream about or numbers they may find randomly anywhere on their daily life. Some mix of birth dates from close people is also common.

Anyway, it's just superstition. There isn't any assurance you will win because you have been paying attention to the numbers around you in your life. When we talk about the method shared by OP it becomes even more unstable, because image how many teams, players and numbers on their uniforms appear on TV in a weekly basis.
3164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much initial startup to Start Cryptocurrency Casino? on: December 08, 2022, 12:08:11 AM
With so much competition in gambling field you will need to invest a lot of money to start your company decently. You have to pay for the slots games and live games which are provided by a third party company, purchase website's template, basic games and buy a license to operate legally. I won't count costs with employees, because that is optional if you can work by yourself or with a partner only.

And even investing big money there is no guarantee you will have enough traffic and income in your casino to recover the investment and grow within time. The secret to be successful on this business is to be innovative. Years ago gambling sites were plain and simple. Only a dice game was enough to make profit, but now it's different. The industry has evolved and the services are complete now. You need games' diversification, modern layout, frequent promos and marketing campaigns... Also, you must be courageous to put money on it and recover only after 1-2 years (if successful).
3165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazil Has Approved Bill Recognizing Bitcoin As a Payment Method. on: December 07, 2022, 10:37:22 PM
It's too late. I've seen on local news the bill has been already approved by the congress house and now it depends on the president's sanction to take into effect. They want the current president to sanction the bill, because they fear the next president, who is going to take place from next year on, won't give his sanction, seeking for a more strict regulation regards cryptocurrencies.

There were modifications on the original project. Asset segregation, which could be a measure to protect users' funds in exchanges, was removed. With assets segregation feature, exchanges are forced to respect the money people have on the platforms. They can't use it to pump their native tokens, donate to their political parties or run scam schemes in general.

Congressmen gave total independence and rights to exchanges to do what they want with customers' money. Therefore, a new FTX scam event is possible.

In my opinion it should be passed a bill stating in case of bankruptcy, bank run or any scams, the CEO and his first tier team would be immeditely held responsible, losing their patrimonies to the state, which would use it to repay the debt they have with customers. This way, we wouldn't see money being wasted to pay scammers' wages while operating the companies in recovery or during chapter 11 (bankruptcy) and the cases would be solved faster. But that would be to ask too much...
3166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 07, 2022, 09:17:47 PM
Brazil - Argentina is the semi-final that most people want to see. But what would it be like if Croatia - the Netherlands got? Both countries have never become world champions and have had very strong teams and players for years. Modric has already won everything in his career, but the European Championship or World Cup title is still missing. I expect France to reach the final on the other side of the schedule. The most logical would be the final France - Brazil, but are we waiting for that? People are often for the underdogs.
In 2006 Brazil removed Croatia (1x0) and was defeated right after by France (1x0) with a goal of Thierry Henry. That was also the last world cup of Zinédine Zidane, one of the greatest players of all times, if not the greatest.

In 2010 Brazil was removed by Netherlands (2x1).

This time we different revenge scenarios: Croatia can have its revenge against Brazil removing them and moving ahead to semi-finals. On the other hand, Brazil can have its revenge against Netherlands (if they overcome Argentina) and France on the finals. All in one world cup!

1 Do you have games like in my country in your country
There is always a main popular slots theme people enjoy playing more than other games of the same kind. Here in my country the one I usually see streamers playing is Sweet Bonanza - candies themed slots, similar to that game app Cady Crush.

2, is this game easier than what I imagined?
Depends on what you mean by easy. It's easy to play, since you have just to click a button and the game does everything by itself. But it's not easy to earn money. The more you play, the more it's likely you are going to lose money.
3168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 07, 2022, 06:03:00 PM
Various types of research and  prediction are going on around the world. recently American data analyst company 'FiveThirtyEight' has analyzed the probability of winning the World Cup for the 8 teams that reached the quarter-finals. And in this analysis, England and Portugal have more chances of winning the World Cup than Argentina. This organization reffers to Brazil get the top positon according to their percentage ration.

Brazil will face Croatia on Friday. Netherlands will face Argentina in the quarter-finals. Morocco will play Portugal in two of the quarter-final matches on Saturday, while France will face England. The organization has calculated that Brazil has a maximum 33 percent chance of winning the World Cup. Brazil champions from their group, They even defeated South Korea from the last sixteen. They won 4-1 by scoring 4 goals in the first half. Football analysts all over the world have given positive view of them.
My prediction goes to Brazil. They have velocity, agility and energy to play the whole game without going exhausted. The team is pretty young and skilled, although they miss a lot of finalizations by stupid mistakes. They must win against Croatia and take Netherlands on the next stage. Then I believe we are going to see a final between Brazil and France, with Brazil winning its sixth world cup title.

Don't spend more than you earn.

Don't care showing yourself off to people (ostentation).

Work hard, but work smartly.

Don't hold too much money: as soon as you accumulate a decent amount, invest it in something solid and reliable to protect what you have conquered so far. It can be a property, a durable good or bitcoin. Look for valuable, demanded and growing assets in your local area.
3170  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Indonesian ban on sex outside marriage affect businesses adversely? on: December 06, 2022, 11:05:50 PM
Those kind of laws are very difficult to enforce, however in countries were similar laws are in place if for example you want to stay at a hotel with a person of the opposite sex you will need to stay in different rooms, so this could raise the costs for couples which are not married or for friends, which could indeed reduce tourism, however it would be interesting to see what has been the effect in other countries which have passed similar laws before.
Actually this is not too difficult to uphold in my opinion, especially when talking about Indonesia where most of the population has the same belief and of course the majority of Indonesian citizens have a religion which clearly prohibits this. I don't think this is difficult.
As for the actual impact, it doesn't really affect me in my opinion because it depends on the intentions of the tourists whether they are only visiting for sex or indeed for other business purposes because when they say business and sex are two different things. We live where we have rules and when we are in this case we cannot rule out rules that are prohibited either by law or religion unless you really don't have both in you.
The law could be created to suppress sexual tourism, but it's not the case. They are criminalizing every sexual activity outside marriage, what is a clear violation of individual rights.

Let's say a couple visits your country, but they aren't married. So can't they have sex while there? Will they be punished accordingly to your local laws?

And let's say a foreigner visits your country, fall in love for a local woman (no prostitution) and they want to have sex. Should this person go to jail for commiting the crime of loving someone?

That is insane! I wouldn't go to a territory with such tyranical laws. It must affect tourism, indeed.
3171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My concern of security when using casino houses. on: December 06, 2022, 09:54:02 PM
Ever had such concerns for security when visiting live casino centers?  or do other reasons which prevent you from using these live casino centers? (please state it).
On this aspect virtual casinos are much safer, because you don't expose yourself on the streets and public areas in order to gamble. You can play by the confort and safety of your home. If you hit the jackpot, you don't have to worry about being followed on your way back home by thieves, as you will be already at home!

On the other hand, when you go to land based casinos, you never know who can be behind you. This is the main security concern when playing at physical places. And when gambling is forbidden in your country you also have to worry about the police, besides the thieves, who can be in collusion with the casino itself.
3172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone know anything about YoBit? The exchange? on: December 06, 2022, 09:31:21 PM
It's a long time since I heard about Yobit for the last time on this forum. Yobit is a russian exchange from the early years of bitcoin existence. Although they have many bad reviews for different reasons, the service seems to be still active with people using the platform. But since they aren't a transparent and fair exchange, it's better to avoid their services, because you can be cheated by them as customer at some point.

I remember they had a non-provably fair dice game and investment option with high interest rates for your crypto (the trick was that the investment didn't pay everyday as firstly expected, only when they wished...).

How can Spain lose 3 penalties in a row? Roll Eyes
Their players look apathetic!

Congratulations to Morocco. They improved their performance since african cup where they were eliminated by Egypt on the quarter-finals. If I'm not mistaken they are going to be the only african nation on the quarter-finals of a world cup since 2010, when Ghana played against Uruguay and lost on penalties. There are serious chances an african nation can reach to semi-finals this time for the first time in history!
3174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto for beginners: Don't believe these four myths when learning about crypto on: December 06, 2022, 01:30:56 AM
Bitcoin has an intrinsic value, but it doesn't have coverage, and that is a common reason why many investors fear investing on it. When people talk about that I think they are more concerned about the fact bitcoin is too expensive on the market when compared to its intrinsic value, so it discourages these people to invest on the cryptocurrency, because there are serious risks they can lose their money this way.
3175  Economy / Economics / Re: House is a forced saving on: December 06, 2022, 12:51:11 AM
It can be said that the economic crisis is affecting the world, not just the real estate industry, so it cannot be said that holding real estate or doing real estate business is not profitable or not causing losses.
Currently I am investing most of my assets in bitcoin, but my end goal is still real estate, it is the safest investment and asset. Because the demand for real estate or housing has never cooled down.
Just be careful where you are going to invest in Real Estate. As it's a very popular investment nowadays there are many apartment complexes being designed and built being put for sale, so investors buy them in order to earn passive income renting. The issue is that supply is too high right now, there are too many houses and apartments available for rent. Consequently there are serious risks investors face difficult when finding potential tenants. Probably a commercial property is a better idea, as there is constant demand for it, although localization is very important and must be thought carefully.
For me house in never a forced investment
one should have atleast a small roof over their head during rainy days - what would one do when he is unwell or being laid off - how are they going to pay off the rental
A house for yourself, where you can live and have safety it's a must in my opinion. In my previous post I just mentioned houses as a dangerous investment in case the owner wants to rent the houses for passive income. On that case it must be very well calculated, because there is already too many houses for rent everywhere and too few people in conditions to pay for a rent. And like you said, if people can't pay off the rental, properties' owners will have big losses, making this kind of investment even more risky. And that isn't an uncommon situation to happen. I've been seeing many tenants accumulating debt with renters.
3176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Hit $23,000 in Q1 2023? on: December 05, 2022, 04:42:11 PM
Bitcoin will remain stable on the currently price range or at even lower levels while this bearish market lasts. To hit the 23,000$ once again we need to leave the bearish market first. Then the correct question is, will the bearish season be ended by the first quadrimester of 2023?

Personally, I don't think so, because we are too close to this time period. Meanwhile, the news don't look good for crypto enthusiasts. There are too many scams going on around involving big companies of the sector and huge money, the world is still being affected by a war and traditional markets are still profitable for speculators who are taking advantage of increased interest rates. Most likely things will start improving here from the end of 2023 on (Q3-Q4).

3178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First time of owning bitcoin on: December 05, 2022, 02:47:05 PM
For you how was your own reaction/expression in your first time of purchasing and owning bitcoins, was it so different? I would love to know!
I can't explain how I felt. All I can say is that it was a very unique and memorable moment in my life which I remember full of joy and nostalgia. That is the kind of moment you want to go back in time to live again, although you can't. I remember setting my first online wallet, claiming my first satoshis through faucets' lists full of excitement for the next round after the cooldown. I was so happy that I kept talking to my family about what I've discovered, and I also wanted them to understand and feel what I was feeling. Unfortunatelly they didn't take me serious until bitcoin reached to more expressive price levels.
3179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto would you like to see more in Online Casinos? on: December 05, 2022, 02:11:10 PM
FUN token is the top native gambling currency among all in cryptomarketcap.

It has its native casino as well, and even though it's not revolutionizing and disrupting anything, I think it's one of the most decent cryptocurrencies to invest. Not due to its gambling potential exclusively, but also due to the premium program offered at Freebitco.in for its holders, which will also benefit gamblers through extra cashback on wagers.

Besides bitcoin I don't feel the necessity of another cryptos being introduced at casinos, unless they offer interesting extra benefits to gamblers inside the casinos, just like FUN at Freebitco.in with its premium features.
3180  Other / Archival / Re: online lottery games on: December 04, 2022, 09:54:32 PM
My neighbor is very fond of lottery gambling like this and even to get numbers he sometimes performs a ritual to the graves of the dead to ask for clues to the numbers that will come out of the lottery, sometimes he also uses formulas from lottery numbers that have come out as a formula to calculate and get the numbers that will come out of the lottery even though I have reminded you that it is better to play a casino than a lottery like that
Some gamblers have this kind of practice, although it's not advisable to ask anything to the dead. Occultism and necromancy are dangerous practices which have negative consequences for the individuals involved on them. Some people will say it's superstition, and it doesn't really matter, since you don't get involved with it. In this case the doubt is better than the certain...
