3161  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and COVID on: May 26, 2020, 07:08:11 PM
it's hard to say that Bitcoin can make a difference during this epidemic right now.
Contactless and mobile NFC payments of debit cards are more popular now.
Yes, exactly.

the use of the bitcoin has huge benefits to the whole economy if they will adopt this it may prevent the virus from spreading too. If we use the bitcoin or the cryptocurrency as a transaction we can now avoid getting outside just to transfer your funds, also we can use this for having a secured transaction, and one of the best thing we will not touch any tangible money which is dirty money can cause rapidly spreading the money.

What do you think about this bitcoin adaptation? It can benefit while we are having this pandemic outbreak.
As above. Contactless and mobile for purchases where you have to physically be there, for everything else you can still use your bank card online (or Paypal or similar). This isn't specifically a time to be using bitcoin, it's simply a time not to be using paper and metal money.

Many people stated that bitcoin becomes a safe haven because it still has a good market price that is continuously pumping.
Bitcoin has the potential to be a safe haven. At the moment though we are some way from that point; the volatility in particular make it more of a highly speculative asset. I do think it will become a safe haven eventually, just not for some years yet.

Bitcoin has gained more advantage today because of this pandemic outbreak wherein cashless paymemt is more encouraged rather than paying with fiat which will cause rapid spread of corona virus. I think this is a good moment for bitcoin to be known to all the people about the benefits of bitcoin. Bitcoin may be a safe haven for today's world phenomenon but having it as a world currency may cause more doubt as the world is not yet ready for it.
3162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: May 25, 2020, 11:26:44 PM
Guys, do you think that ICOs could make a come back? I do and here is why. Every year dozens of companies raise money in Silicon Valley for startups, many pre revenue. Also, with the economy injured from nCov19, it would make sense to allow for new economies. This would include letting new startups in Blockchain raise money, and imo if they are well vetted, and trusted by the community, they should be allowed to raise money. What do you think?
No ICO nowadays was nothing it will not be profitable if they run ICO on their project it will be just a waste of time specially nowadays who run IEO was successful they give good profit in return to the investor of the project, one more thing the ICO before was terrible when they got the money of the investor they easy run and the investor will not have time to get what they invest.
ICO would still be possible if there are still investors who are willing to put their trust and money nowadays but i guess this is already impossible as IEO has been proven successful to replace ICO. Gone are those days where ICOs have become very profitable way back 2017 and what we have today are only those scammed projects that have turned to be inevitable.
3163  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: May 25, 2020, 11:01:51 PM

If we can just find stores that accepts coins we'll probably live without banks. There are apps that may actually help you do this abut you will still need fiat money. I believe each country has a popular wallet which their apps allows you to sell your btc for fiat and than you can send your fiat money to yourself by a remittance services.

Hard thing to do but claiming the money will need you to fill your info, this will still not allow you to be anonymous though.
Of course, when time comes that crypto will be fully legalized by the government, every transaction should never be anonymous. We can really leave the banking system but living life without fiat might be hard for now since crypto is still unknown to those people particularly to those living in provinces and don't have any internet connection there.
3164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling hiding, rules ignored. on: May 25, 2020, 05:59:11 AM
Each government has rules and guidelines when they implement a lockdown if they closed the casinos it will be open under strict guidelines, if the casinos are operating with only their old clients we can say that they are operating it illegally and it's either they are bribing the police department there or they do it secretly, there is connivance going on between gamblers and the casinos.

This could pose a serious threat to all not only to the owners of casinos as it could get seize or as per law the action would be taken, but also people playing out there and if any of them have a positive case it will spread to others as well leading to more getting infected due to it. Country anyways is suffering from this pandemic situation and in order to curb we all have to avoid such type of situation.

These people already know the threat, so they have accepted it already, it will pose more threat to people whom these gamblers are close as they might not knowingly spread the virus to innocent people, so this should be reported, the government has been strictly implementing it, with people helping each other by reporting this illegal activity, we can already contribute in fighting the covid-19.

3166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto casinos pros and cons on: May 22, 2020, 01:55:38 PM

Well, if you will be thinking about it, minors are legally gambling online and most of them are even streaming.

I have never seen a site that says minors are allowed to gamble, although they can't verify if the gambler is minor or not due to anonymity, but it's always in the policy that minors are not allowed to gamble, now, if such minor will still persist to gamble, what he is doing is he is illegally gambling.
3167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling hiding, rules ignored. on: May 22, 2020, 01:43:26 PM
There are people who see that the established security measures are excessive. And they are thus protesting against the prohibitions.
They just want to justify their wrong doings, they are not prevented to gambling if its not illegal in their country, what the government are only doing is for the safety of the people, they want to prevent people from spreading the virus, so gambling is not allowed when it needs physical appearance to a certain place or venue. Maybe it's time they will learn online gambling, maybe hard at the beginning but they'll eventually love it, and its safer, you don't violate a law doing online gambling.

Also for a person there may be an additional adrenaline rush from gambling where it is currently prohibited.
I would understand this.

It's like sex in a public place)

BUT THIS ONE IS GROSS>  Tongue
3168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online gamblers think about their privacy and anonymity? on: May 22, 2020, 01:34:39 PM
I am constantly gambling in different sites listed in the forum but I always choose a gambling site that values anonymity, though there are some condition  that a user will have to undergo a KYC compliance if it breaks a certain rules or a certain amount of withdrawal is big that requires some KYC compliance but I never face this kind of requirement, because first I don't gamble much and I don't break the rules of a certain gambling sites.

so I value my privacy and anonymity 100%.
3169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Games on: May 22, 2020, 12:42:32 PM
I voted for dice because I believe that is the most popular right now, but I am surprise that the top votes goes to the crash games which I think is also a good and exciting game, maybe people are tired with playing dice so they fell in love in crash since it's really a fun games.

I played both of these games but I just choose or vote for dice since I've been playing it since I start here in crypto.
3170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sports do you think that can resume amid Covid-19 scare. on: May 22, 2020, 12:19:34 PM
Any sports event could be resumed as long as the association will put the players in a single facility and test everyone before officially start the game or match. I guess covid testing will be the new requirement for any sports specially the contact-sports like basketball, football, boxing, and etc.
We will all be embracing this new normal, as vaccines will be available next year at the very least.
It should be the responsibility of the players to ensure that they are healthy since its impossible to test every time, we know the result is not going to be instant and after the game, they will have to go home for their family and even if they are covid free but there is no assurance on people surrounding them, especially their family, so to make this a successful campaign, players should not just put all the responsibility to the organizers, they also need to help and cooperate.
3171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Effect of the Bitcoin Halving on Online Casinos on: May 22, 2020, 11:59:04 AM
With the effect of the bitcoin halving, I think a gambler wants to move from using bitcoin to using altcoin because the fee for sending from their wallet to their account will be bigger. I see that the fee now is much high than before, but I think the fee will be reduced in the future so moving into altcoin will give them a chance to buy a lot of altcoin such as ethereum, litecoin, dogecoin and else and then send it into their gambling account.
Then definitely we will see some good result on the altcoins market, especially on the major coins which gamblers will be using due to its good liquidity rate. As bitcoin is not affordable anymore in terms of fees, then that would be the scenario we witness in the future, and I think it's wise to think of investing at the moment.

Perhaps, people will use bitcoin as their investment, and they will use altcoin as the alternative to playing gambling. But for people who have a large amount of bitcoin, they will not think about that since they will not have a problem to send any bitcoin amount. We will see the effect at the online casino after the bitcoin halving.
Good for the whole market in overall, this way not only bitcoin will grow and with the increasing demand of altcoins, we might see its dominant rate to increase and we know what would result to the market if we will see it increase.
3172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The low risky way to hold Bitcoin. Buy Bitcoin now, i can't wait anymore on: May 21, 2020, 09:46:08 PM
Buy bitcoin and hold it for years, that the simple way to make profits from bitcoin but if have time and money and wanted to take more risks for more profits then there are lots of options available for you!
Hodling is still the simplest and safest way to make profits but it might take a long span of time. But i don't think that we should expose our total amount of holdings here in the forum because it's should be kept privately. It's very clear that OP is a big investor and his great investments might cause more volatility on bitcoin's price in the market.
3173  Economy / Economics / Re: The Coronavirus as A Means of Financial Reset on: May 21, 2020, 09:32:42 PM
The data on coronavirus right now is a very serious investigation, in which China brings everything down to the USA, and the USA to China. Let's see if there is any significant evidence from any of the parties who can prove that it was the opponent who created this virus.

Who would have wanted to start this corona virus and made all the economies shut down because of the continuos spread of corona virus positive cases and took thousands of people's lives? I guess no country would ever wanted this way. So we should stop thinking that this is USA or China way of revenge because the fact that all countries are suffering right now is already a proof.
3174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins for 2020 on: May 21, 2020, 09:14:15 PM
yes, bitcoin is indeed very good to be used as an investment and until now it has certainly been proven that the decline that has occurred can be held back to restore the price again, but ETH can also go back up this year as it did at that time, and even for example this year there will be an altcoin that will be good and good for us to make an investment of course no one will ever know, so whatever will happen to the price of crypto, which is certainly expected to be able to develop better prices like before a significant decline.
For Bitcoin and Ethereum, don't ask again, of course the best investment is the 2 coins when the market starts to recover, their prices will return to normal because they follow the trends in the crypto market, but if it happens to altcoin, it will be difficult too because altcoin now it's hard to bangkin if it has dropped dramatically.
Yes. I always believe in bitcoin and ethereum because they would still recover their prices even after dumping. Bitcoin is always the best choice of everyone here because it's the most promising coin and has a huge potential to give us huge profits not only now but also in the future. Ethereum is the perfect pair for bitcoin knowing it's the most developed altcoin that has great benefits to its investors.
3175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN to the MOON on: May 21, 2020, 04:58:48 PM
These opportunities for altcoin by addon and include part of everything, that very good. And can make the new flagship on blockchain technology.

BTC is the role model of altcoin, like a mother, followed by her children. If you still aren't sure if you can compare the altcoin and BTC charts, altcoin follows BTC. To return to ATH or Moon I think it is still difficult, the BTC bearish market continues after halving.
Right now, altcoins are still in dips and even bitcoin which is the model of altcoins is still going through a correction. Hopefully if bull run will happen before this year ends, altcoins have bigger chances that they will go to the moon again. Once bitcoin will skyrocket, it will be followed mostly by some of the top altcoins in the market.
3176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is Bitcoin compared to all world's Money?? on: May 20, 2020, 08:53:09 PM
Only one brick for cryptocurrency each and I’m glad to see ETH along with BTC, well this can still be considered as a new one and not bad at all because we can still grow over time. The global debt is crazy, and I believe it will continue to rise especially now that many countries borrows some funds to fight the pandemic. As we can see, there’s a lot of investors who invest on gold because of its good value, jewelry is a nice investment too.
Gold is really an all time favorite investment of people even before but with the new technology that has risen, cryptocurrency like bitcoin is something new that will have a huge impact in the future. Bitcoin has still a big room to grow and even if it cannot compete with the current big companies like amazon or apple, i think bitcoin is still a good choice with great potential as an investment.
3177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: May 20, 2020, 08:23:18 PM
I agree especially when you have only small money to trade and you lack the experience. Anyways if you put your money on the right Cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin then in long term perspective you dont have to worry because you'll definitely profit unlike in day trading where you could loss everything in one single day.
small possibility to find again crypto coin like Bitcoin...  Cheesy
I personally prefer trading as a good choice because I understand how to trade and have little experience. trading is the thing you have to do if you don't have another job and my experience, trading is not much different from other jobs, it is difficult at the beginning but if learned patiently it will be easy to master it.
Trading and investing are both profitable if we do it in the right way. I understand that we have different capabilities and skills in life so whatever choices we made are greatly dependent on them. If we love risk taking, trading is a good option while if we chose to take less risk, investing is also profitable too. Both are different but in the end, we still see ourselves taking risk.
3178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I wrong or right? on: May 20, 2020, 07:53:00 PM
What are you looking for and what is the purpose of such a thing, because even the theory is clear if altcoins are able to be the highest by themselves of course it will surpass bitcoin or maybe bitcoin never existed, I wonder why they always want for bitcoin to be destroyed even though in reality with the existence of bitcoin which makes this market grow bigger with so many technologies developed.
No one can change the fact that bitcoin is still the driving factor of cryptocurrency and whatever its value, altcoins value are also affected. If bitcoin experience a bullish trend, might as well altcoins have also tendencies to increase their prices together with bitcoin. Same thing happens too when bitcoin is dumping, altcoins value are also dumping.
3179  Economy / Economics / Re: Did COVID-19 Bring Any Positive Sign? on: May 20, 2020, 12:43:36 AM
Aside from the stated examples above, I think another positive impact of covif 19 to us is Health Awareness. For sure many of us will become healt conscious from now on. Yeah! Sad to say that it seems we are forced because of the fear of getting sick but that's okay anyway. You got notbing to lose for being careful Smiley.
Yes. From now on, people will start observing cleanliness not just in our own selves but to the environment where we live. It's good to keep us in good and proper hygience and sanitized all the things around us so that we can prevent other diseases brought by diffent kinds of virus.
3180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Indiscipline and Greed on: May 20, 2020, 12:30:17 AM
Discipline is what most people lack when they are trading. It’s always difficult for them to control themselves and manage the little profits they have made. .....
Although difficult, this discipline can be trained. To overcome greed, we must prepare an open heart and always be grateful for what we get. Often, this greed can disrupt the analysis, even though we already know the correction will come when approaching resistance, but because it is driven by a sense of wanting to get more profit then we force it to enter the market. If we end up losing, we can only regret it. This is an important experience, I think all traders have experienced it.
Yes. Being greedy does not contribute any good result into trading because instead of making more profits, you'll definitely fall into losing your money. Greedy and indiscipline will definitely put us into a worst situation. If we are too weak to fight against our emotions, then we cannot expect to make profits everytime we trade, but more on losing our capital.
