Man, I knew I should've bought a smaller phone.  Undecided Lips sealed Cry

This thing is never gonna fit in my asscheeks.
3182  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The Silk Road marketplace lives on, despite intense government efforts on: May 16, 2014, 03:35:55 AM
you realise the best con a conman does is to take peoples money. tell them it was stolen, but offer to reimburse it.

this method has been done by many boiler rooms and conartists for years, it costs nothing and the reality is that funds never move/were ever lost. and was purely a story to gain trust.

the easiest way to spot a 'story' is when the business does not close shop to redevelop its security, to audit balances or even simply show actual proof of theft beyond just their words
QFT, don't leave your money in someone else's wallet, for any reason, ever.
3183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] Number of people you tell about bitcoin - vs - how many are interested ? on: May 16, 2014, 03:33:24 AM
I host "Bitcoin Parties" at my house where I show some funny and some educational videos, and give everyone some BTC to go home with at the end of the night. Fairly successful so far, at least getting people thinking about it and learning to use Bitcoin at a basic enough level to buy shit with that $20 in BTC.
3184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iowa State University to former students: we got hacked by miners! on: May 16, 2014, 03:32:07 AM
If your security measures to prevent unauthorized software was thwarted (esp. if a remote attack), it's not unreasonable to assume information stored on the same servers successfully attacked is compromised, too.
Yep, and healthy security culture dictates you must ASSUME that info was compromised.

*Of course, some 'radicals' want to totally ignore fiat, but the world isn't ready for that yet.
As with all progress, the world will be dragged along kicking and screaming. There ain't no stoppin' this train we're on.

P.S. Beliathon, where do you find your energy, fella?
I murder and devour the heart of one politician or corporate lawyer each week. In all seriousness, the truth is it's own reward.

I had no desire to buy or sell, so I just kept my stash, and stopped trading all together. Until Coinbase came along, and made it easy for people in the US.
Ditto!
3186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who are the youngest bitcoin millionaires? on: May 15, 2014, 11:53:54 PM
While I was an early Bitcoin adopter, I didn't follow my own heart and therefore can only imagine the freedom of wealth as I still must spend my days in chains.
I'm truly sorry to hear you still struggle under the chains of wage-slavery.

Know that it is not poverty that enslaves you, but your belief in their system, the system with which they control you. Our collective belief in capitalism is what makes us, collectively, slaves.

Just like the value of the dollar and the Bitcoin, it's real because we make it real, every single day, day after day.
3187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stefan Molyneux Bitcoin vs. Political Power (Must see if you haven't yet) on: May 15, 2014, 11:47:00 PM
So glad I watched that. Now I have a raging hard on for Bitcoin acceptance and adoption. Let's put power back in the hands of the populous!
Spread it to everyone you know! I host parties at my house once per month, where I show this and a few other educational vids. I pay people to attend in Bitcoin, $20 in BTC, plus free food.

It's very gratifying and always a good turnout. And they get their first Bitcoins for many of them, and they learn how to use it so they can spend it!

Just like your mother.

gridcoin.
This particular shitcoin is actually a little bit intriguing. Science funding? Hows it work?
3190  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why is everyone so gullible? on: May 15, 2014, 05:29:40 PM
Why is everyone so gullible? Because everyone has been to school, that's why.

Mostly because schooling is antithetical to critical thinking, especially when it comes to questioning authority.

School stunts maturity and creates adults with the minds of obedient children / obedient workers.
3191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Glenn Beck calls bitcoin Edison's light bulb! on: May 15, 2014, 05:27:14 PM
Glenn Beck = Low IQ adult who believes in imaginary friends. Superstition is the end of reason, ergo Mr. Beck deserves no respect from anyone.

“I’m thinking about killing Michael Moore, and I’m wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out. Is this wrong? I stopped wearing my What Would Jesus — band — Do, and I’ve lost all sense of right and wrong now.”
-Glenn Beck

“God is giving a plan I think to me that is not really a plan. The problem is that I think the plan that the Lord would have us follow is hard for people to understand. Because of my track record with you who have been here for a long time. Because of my track record with you, I beg of you to help me get this message out, and I beg of you to pray for clarity on my part.”
-Glenn Beck

3193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebay - the first tech giant to accept Bitcoin? on: May 15, 2014, 03:53:28 PM
Accepting Bitcoin would be extremely bad for Ebay's relationship with Paypal. I can't see this actually happening anytime soon.

The parasite called Paypal gives kickbacks to Ebay I'm sure.
3194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your dream gift?(I might get one for you) on: May 15, 2014, 03:49:47 PM
I don't want anything bought with a probably stolen bitcoin.
Just for the record, if anyone figures out how to steal this guy's Bitcoins, I'd be more than happy to take the hot coins off your hands. But only this guy !

Exit the bubble of your Just World Fallacy, awake to the suffering of knowledge! If you're going to play the capitalism game, you really ought to Play to Win.

Otherwise, you'll just end up as a slave.
3195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: American government report :China is the economic threat of bitcoin on the globa on: May 15, 2014, 03:48:15 PM
It does not matter one iota that right now, the Chinese populace is behaving obediently toward their Emperor's anti-crypto dictates. Sooner or later, the dominos will fall.

Yes, I used the word Emperor deliberately, no I am not joking about its use.
3196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nudist resort taking Bitcoin- No need to carry a wallet on: May 15, 2014, 03:31:29 PM
Why not have a tattoo or a henna of a Bitcoin wallet QR code then don't even need a phone especially at a nudist resort without pockets
No phones?

Wouldn't that mean everyone could receive money, but no one could send it?
3197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Politicians in America now accept Bitcoin contribution on: May 15, 2014, 03:29:49 PM
Wealth is not what US politicians need. They have plenty of funny money already, their criminal pals are printing it by the bushel. No, what they need is a good example.

3198  Other / Off-topic / Re: The moment you realise... on: May 15, 2014, 03:28:32 PM
What'll really blow your mind is if the U.S. put their "war on drugs" budget into healthcare, then Walter White wouldn't have needed to cook meth.
Please see: Ending the War on Drugs, with Compassion!
3199  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why is everyone so gullible? on: May 15, 2014, 03:26:28 PM
Incorrect.

If the service is not independently audited, is not regulated, and is not insured by a reliable and trustworthy underwriter, then assuming that you are always being scammed is the ONLY way to protect yourself from loss.  Without proof that a services claims are legitimate, you should always assume that all services are lying.
This. Would you take $50,000 of fiat money and deposit it into some brand new bank, some business you don't know on the OTHER SIDE OF THE PLANET? With no way to contact the owner(s) in person?

No, you fucking wouldn't. Because that'd be absolutely 100% moronic. And that's exactly what thousands of folks did with Mt. Gox.

Hopefully these fools learned their lesson.

...or if he would have lived in Canada or Europe that have proper healthcare, for that matter
American without health insurance, checking in. Obamacare left millions of Americans without any help at all. It's a fucking travesty like everything else done "for the people" in the business known as USA, inc.

I'll be 30 this year. I have problems with my left knee from being hit by a cab on my bicycle (the cab sped away after), my eyesight is going, and I have untreated PTSD, secondary to a very bad public skool experience.

Mentally and physically I am falling apart. If it wasn't for the money I made by early investing in Bitcoin, I'm not sure I'd even be here talking with you. PTSD = severe depression and anxiety, lifelong.

Thank fuck I can at least afford to buy weed to relieve that suffering. God bless Amerikkka.
