Going back to what happen through the day, Was gox broken again or it was just their api? Did the trading stop again?
Gox introduced a new API that shares its prices with the rest exchanges in order to stop arbitrage... That's why there was the lag today. Let's see... I personally see it like a bold move to tide up the mess towards bigger market orders.

... I can wait a week till that Eurozone news disseminates to the masses. It took an awful specific search term to find it, and I had to show my dad he hadn't heard much about the whole deal and he' pays a fair bit of attention to global trends and politics. Sometimes patients works.. I know I could have sold at any of three daily tops now but I'd prefer to just hold atm.
Were like a rocket ship about to engage our stage 4 boosters. were almost out of our atmosphere and I'll just equate price drop in a change of velocity for a moment.. but remember there is less gravity in space Lol
What news? Could you link please? http://www.cnbc.com/id/101263206EDIT: A thread on it here too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=368380Yep; I posted this yesterday. It's the most bullish news ever. Plus the fact that Switzerland wants it in as a common currency!

Yeah; Cyprus #2 for all EU. Enjoy bank bailout now! (at your expenses) ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Damd, I guess the USD is a much safer alternative: http://rt.com/business/budget-deal-us-trillion-063/It must be safe when over half the nations budget is spent on defence and tapering will receive a huge boost of confidence from the markets. Bet the bears are feeling very secure with nearly 100% fiat atm ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Not for long buddy... not for long... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

However, you are mortal and catastrophically overconfident in your ability to predict chaotic systems.
That is just plain misunderstanding. I know that probabilities add to 1 and I should not invest more than I can afford to lose ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It is exactly the ordinary people who gamble with all their wealth daily (by taking a mortgage, for example). They are taking a serious financial risk. I am never taking any financial risk. By being risk-free I have been able to pursue the opportunities and grow our family wealth at about 51% APR over 11 years.+1

And you're going to be eating crow AGAIN when your prediction (based on the past performance of bitcoin bubbles) comes up false.
How come I am so much richer than you if all I do is to handle money, and I do it so badly? How old are you, 22?
EDIT: In addition you say that 2011 left you in disbelief and 2013 in euphoria. Ummmm...notice that those 2 bubbles ended completely different. And yes, I am a bubble behind you, but I am aware enough to know that this bubble and the last will end completely different too.
What were the differences in the bubbles' endings? I should clarify something about my own comments. When I question your abilities as a fortuneteller, I do not imply anything about your business acumen. If you started from nothing and built your own wealth, congratulations, that is a rare achievement. I would never argue that a good businessman cannot find wealth the hard way. However, you are mortal and catastrophically overconfident in your ability to predict chaotic systems. Vycid I think he was talking about what windjc wrote to him. I couldn't agree more with your last statement though... No one can 100% successfully predict chaotic systems; atleast no one I've met so far. I do like Risto's thought though; he's very stochastic and sound on his analysis so far. On the other hand, I surely think that some of those thinghs he says on this thread, are not for other people's good... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Party is starting... Maybe TODAY we will see Risto's low before we see a new ATH (tomorrow)... forget months. We're talking days, maybe even hours here. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Yes, CLEARLY this market is unstable and can't maintain support in the $800-$900 range. Or maybe THIS is the new low... I believe some eager funds are testing the waters now... It's gonna be a very interesting day I believe. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
