wow you desperately want to see a head and shoulder pattern eh

I would love to be correct, yes. Smiley

especially when someone said my TA was pulled from my ass?!

This may not be realised, but the pattern is there non the less.

I have near zero knowledge of this market and can tell you, your prediction is unwarranted. The first tooth in the zigzag pattern is made up to be consistent with the two following teeth. It is not consistent with the actual data. What remains is the two teeth. Your prediction amounts to "it went up a bit, down a bit more, then up a little bit less, therefore a crash will happen". I will eat my words if it goes down to 200, as you predict.

I did not predict 200.  I predicted below 800 within 24 hours (about 3-4 hours ago) and said earlier that sub $500 I what I think could happen.   The graph is worse case not looking at other non TA factors.

I don't expect $200 BTC but I would love to buy at that price.

Gotta say, it's sure looking like we may see a serious bull OR bear TKO pretty soon.

On the one hand, there's plenty of reason for folks to sell off ahead of a large deepening decline, and the news is just recursive ditherings. *points to chart and news*

On the other, the chart reminds me a WHOLE LOT of the beginning of November, after coming off the ATH and coiling up for an upsurge. *points to chart and news*

Either way, next year we are going to see more massive ATH's. Might I suggest, that before that time (spring '14), many of us consider cold storage, for the sake of Baby Jesus (ahem, I meant the sake of getting some sleep, and reducing stress and BTC LOSS-- no offense to the Believers of Baby Jesus Magick).

I've had no problem sleeping since I missed my chance to sell at 1000-1100 before we found support at 540-630 depending where you traded. Sad I missed out but I'll keep my eyes open, just don't see that happening so close together especially since that drop was helped to go as low as it did.

I doubt we break out of 1000 again this week though, I however enjoy being wrong at times.

I can't help but remain optimistic. When my exchange has a constant back log of verifications, 40-100 processed a day with 60 new coming in a day has kept cavirtex with about 1400 people pending verification.
I remember right before April crash mtgox had 12,000 pending verifications and was doing 1500 per day.
yeah verification queue is very much lagging indicator. i entered speculation in april, got my money to exchange ready to buy and then crashed hard. i sat on sidelines and let it fall. no interest in buying at that time as a newbie.

How i see it.  905 ish on gox before the next drop.

In fairness you do have a point. But if anything, some of us who aren't good at trading have bad memories from April - and also no urge to sell coins.
Isn't that a triple bottom??? See for yourself!!!

And you're going to be eating crow AGAIN when your prediction (based on the past performance of bitcoin bubbles) comes up false.

How come I am so much richer than you if all I do is to handle money, and I do it so badly?  Roll Eyes How old are you, 22?

Quote
EDIT: In addition you say that 2011 left you in disbelief and 2013 in euphoria. Ummmm...notice that those 2 bubbles ended completely different. And yes, I am a bubble behind you, but I am aware enough to know that this bubble and the last will end completely different too.

What were the differences in the bubbles' endings?

You know what, I'm pretty sick of your "I'm so much better and richer than you" argument constantly.  Firstly, you don't know that.  Secondly, you sound like a dick.   Do you occasionally come out with something useful, yes (your savings plan made sense).  But you also spout a hell of a lot of nonsense.

Tone it down.  You're not special, you're just another one of us.

He's not one of me, I'm not attention seeking twat  Grin

Ah, I see. Fair enough. But the second graph does imply it. If it doesn't happen than the pattern you drew was not a pattern to begin with but merely a sawtooth that loosely resembled past events (again the first tooth does not reflect the data).

Adam gave some wise advice there, should have taken it.

Maybe but it puts me a step above you, at least a cunt is useful.

I took the advice from Adam and trolled the troll.

Why are you still upset?  did you buy above $1000?

Gox introduced a new API that shares its prices with the rest exchanges in order to stop arbitrage... That's why there was the lag today. Let's see... I personally see it like a bold move to tide up the mess towards bigger market orders.

Time to start an end of the world thread.
