3181  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where would Twitter go after its takeover by Elon Musk ? on: November 20, 2022, 03:24:51 AM
Orange Hitler's account has been reinstated! They wiped all of his followers through.

https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump

IIRC Trump said he would stay on Truth Social, but if he wants his Presidential campaign to gain any sort of traction at all, he needs Twitter (which is slightly ironic considering, IMO, he lost the 2020 election due to his rampant unhinged tweets.) He needs to tone just slightly.
I need to block him this time so save my sanity. I was really happy for a long time when i didn't have to see his narisistic twaddle.

Lots of people are blaming Musk - but i think people are selfish too. They would only look for money and nothing more nothing less.
Wait who is selfish in this scenario?

1. People who ask for decent conditions to work under new draconian leadership?

2. Or an erratic new CEO who wants more money but drove out the people who made twitter profitable in the first place?

3. Or users who only wanted an edit button. Not what ever this train wreck is.

When the company is failing people leave and when company is progressing people rush to them - 3/75 engineers have bright future - mark my words. These 3 engineers are smarter than 72 engineers.
Look luck for those 3 engineers doing 75 engineers job Smiley
3182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in seed rounds on: November 20, 2022, 12:30:21 AM
Do you think that launchpad platforms and projects will return soon? We are already in a bear market and very soon new projects will start using launchpads again, I am looking into seedify at the moment but I want to ask the audience, do you think this is a good idea or it's over for IDO, IGO and other?
Any serious projects are most likely looking funding from private sales, not via "seedify". "Companies" who are looking to get funded via ICOs IDOs and IEOs etc are very often in there because they don't get the funding from serious investors, because serious investors to a better research and want more from their investments. They usually don't get fooled with tech jargon in a same way that generic crypto investor does, so of course these people will go anywhere where they get money for their project.

You might get those tokens flipped 2x or 10x or what ever but i wouldn't count any of them to be a sustainable business model, but mostly a glue and stick solution sold as a blockchain tech.

Twitter: @Betflexi | Facebook: @Betflexi | Instagram: @Betflexi | Telegram: @Betflexi | Linkedin: @Betflexi | Tiktok: @Betflexi | YouTube: @Betflexi
And what if after selling all those you would wait a bit and contact to let's say Twitter, telling them that your account has been hacked ( as you can't legally sell them ) and they could see that from your ip history that it has changed to some neew shady one. That could give you a change to get that account back make fake posts that direct users to scam site. I am guessing there's no way of knowing if you would do that.
3184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: November 19, 2022, 11:45:53 PM
Hello guys, as an attempt to protect new or old users on this forum , I think its mandatory for gambling sites to show proof of money they are holding in reserves  . Unless casinos converts all deposits to a stablecoin , excluding UST hahahah , from year to date most of them should be running on a loss as most utilized crypto coins are down by atleast 65% and that includes Bitcoin .

There will be more and more accusations  created to existing and also new casinos.

Goodluck,Be safe and smart out there!!
Casinos have very different money making model to any exchanges. They are not exchanges for a reason. If you gamble with BTC you win btc and you withdraw BTC, that's it. You don't change BTC to usdt and try start a bank run.

And FTX used their own token as a collateral which was one of the reasons this happened to them. And i am not sure what kind of numbers in those reserves would make you happy? One that includes enough reserves for everyone winning for a week for every bet or what?
3185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambling addict? on: November 19, 2022, 11:30:30 PM
Everyone likes to go to a casino here and then. But unfortunately, there are those who cannot visit a casino simply for pure leisure. Gambling can turn from a hobby or a leisure activity into a serious addiction problem. Many compare the rush of gambling to the euphory of cocaine, as it can also become an addition.

Online gambling brought casinos closer than ever before, and the problem of addiction in the world of gambling is a serious social illness. There are a few signs to look for when starting to gamble online to avoid problems of addiction. So, do you know if you have a problem with gambling? Here's an interesting article about this subject.

I enjoy it a lot but it's not compulsive gambling. I had money problems because of it in the past but that's over after i set up rules and a system for myself. And i often go months without playing anything. Then again one could say that my crypto trading is a gambling addiction. If that is, then i might be addicted.

My system is basically different wallet address totally for gambling. I keep funding it if needed but with very very small amounts with monthly hard limits that i won't cross in any situation.
3186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana rise again? on: November 19, 2022, 11:15:38 PM
I honestly think that their exposure to ftx was a minor issue that's affecting only to price and not Solana fundamentals (Unless something new gets revealed about their illegal price manipulation tactics or something).

But unfortunately fundamentals alone are enough for keeping it down. Vulnerabilities in a multi-billion marketcap project on which the whole essence should be about security is just fatal blow for getting any serious reputation. In fact that turns down so many institutional and serious players i can't see a way out for sol. It doesn't matter if SOL fanboys still see a change if everything is fixed when the reputation is tainted.

Paid membership is controversial and I can understand this but firing & rehiring staff is so much annoying. I think nobody would ever be willing to get two surprising calls in a day !!

It hasn't stopped there. Someone made an exposé about Elon lying about his credentials. Meaning he doesn't have a real degree in physics. That would explain his erratic behaviour and how he avoids explaining most things in public interviews. I've been listening some geniuses and how they dumb down their outbursts to level of a common man and elon doesn't do even that. He doesn't sound like highly educated man. I mean he basically single handedly killed the twitter funding. That's not a genius move.

3188  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: November 19, 2022, 10:25:55 PM
It was in real mode but keep in mind that Trainwreck is a high roller that is sponsored by the casino so he is not really playing with his own funds. Still a very nice win and I always like to watch streams from Trainwreck or Xposed as it is entertaining to watch.
Oh you are right, i had to watch it again and see that pretty blurred on the right bottom corner. I mean if i get some perspective to this: he is rolling with something like two months rent for a small apartment in my city per bet where i live. That's just hard to comprehend. And way more entertaining to watch then someone winning that much at sports gambling that's for sure.
3189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano and their new privacy blockchain/token project! on: November 19, 2022, 09:49:51 PM
"Cardano Is Launching New Privacy Blockchain and Token"
Charles Hoskinson, CEO of the firm that's behind Cardano, says the network will strive to preserve privacy while giving access to regulators and auditors.

This is an online news headline that I saw and I was quite interested in Hoskinson's statement,, how can the privacy project give access to regulators and auditors, it seems they will only make another shit project. Do you support this Cardano's new project?

1] https://www.coindesk.com/business/2022/11/18/cardano-is-launching-new-privacy-blockchain-and-token/
Oh wow, he wants to call it Dust? Is that just FU because he didn't get Dusk network devs to join even when he allegedly offered to hire them ridiculously lucraticve salary? I am pretty sure that's not a concidence.
And now when i am reading about it at the same time, it doesn't sound like anything revolutionary, maybe something like mina and doesn't even compare to what's dusk has been doing.

But to the OP:s question, confidential transactions can still be auditable.
3190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Roshtein fake money streamer or not? on: November 19, 2022, 09:31:00 PM
I mean if someone can play with free money instead and you wouldn't know the difference, why wouldn't they? And Roshtein sure looks like fake it till you make it guy with that 5 year anniversary luxury glamour videos. Money attracts money, even if that money would be fake.
Then there's the issue that they are probably under investigation by tax officials and officials tracking their income. At leat to them they need to tell what's real and what's the show.
Many influencers keep a role of being rich as attracts money, but maybe not as much as they would people like to know.

Obviously this is just me guessing. Who knows, maybe i am just skeptic and some influencers just have made it.
3191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: St. Kitts and Nevis legalize Bitcoin Cash (BCH) as a means of payment on: November 19, 2022, 09:07:10 PM
On the contrary, governments legalizing shitcoins like BitcoinCash could impede adoption as citizens would associate failure if the currency to pick up to Bitcoin, which is the leading cryptocurrency. Altcoins and CBDCs alike are just distractions, which I don't believe has any significant, long lasting effect on the trajectory of Bitcoin, in terms of adoption and popularity.
If you consider the country which has adopted Bitcoin directly, it really has not had much of an effect on the market, and that's a good thing in my opinion; government's policies does not influence the market, it's actions of traders that do.
These kind of small places don't have as much to lose. It's enough when someone wants to use anything resembling money in there that they can change to real money. Anything that could attract tourism and is a win-win for them. I mean the total population of these places are fraction of some small town.
3192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF BEGGED INVESTORS on: November 19, 2022, 07:56:56 PM
I'm sure SBF won't get in trouble with the law in the US. For some people, he is a hero who gave 10 billion to his patrons, for others he is a scammer.

Read what the new manager of his exchange writes. A huge mass of violations, and the exchange has no chance to pay off creditors.
Oh just like Epstein didn't get in any trouble? Just because someone is connected doesn't mean anything especially transactions are in public blockchain. If something, everyone want to wash their hands from the whole connection to sam. They won't be wanting to jeopardize political or otherwise public careers dealing with something as shady as this.
3193  Other / Politics & Society / Re: can Russia and Ukraine reconcile? on: November 18, 2022, 11:56:42 PM
I'm actually, still a beginner in this forum. and I want to ask, can Russia and Ukraine make peace again?

I sometimes see the women and children there are very concerned, and it makes me feel sorry. I hope that Russia and Ukraine can make peace soon. but maybe, will it be difficult for these two countries to make peace? Huh
No i don't think so. One could dream but, even if there would be an "official" peace deal, and it would be in any way russians terms, that wouldn't suit for some people who lost relatives, and they would probably take justice in their own hands and could even form form terrorist cells against them to repay all the horrors they went though. Maybe if Ukraine got their original borders back, they would accept it.

Worst case scenario i can think of now is Trump becoming president and withdrawing funding. Because that's roughly what happened when US left afgans on their own to deal with ussr and look how that turned out. And now it would happen to very skillful highly trained soldiers. They would blame US as well and that wouldn't end well.
3194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeSo a better Twitter? on: November 18, 2022, 11:45:15 PM
Do you think that decentralised social platform like Twitter is a good idea in crypto space? I am looking into DeSo Ecosystem where your recovery seed is all you need to sign into the network and you get paid for all good contents you create on the platform .

Users can tip content creators among themselves using DeSo coin, I am not here to shill this project, I just want to know what people feel about the future of this project.
I don't trust that these systems would catch up even a fraction of twitter userbase anytime soon. As long as you need to sign in with a wallet or buy eth or whatever to do that it would drive most people away. And people attract more people to join so if it's a ghost town, no-one enjoys spending their time with there.

This has happened even with working platforms. Google+ was a good idea and it has a change to challenge major platforms, but everyone was expecting everyone else to write content. There wasnt enough people using it and rest of them left. And that was EASY to use. And we might think that some decentralized places are easier to use now then they were few years ago but that doesn't really help when we are talking about people who aren't diginatives.
3195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still win with free spins? on: November 18, 2022, 11:11:45 PM
Is it possible to stick with free spins on online casinos and still be able to make some good reward?

I am looking into the free side of things, no risk at all with free spins but the question is has anyone ever make something out of free spins before? Something reasonable at?

The last time I earned something free from gambling websites was when BTC has very low value and many faucets still run, that's couple of years back.
I have won at least from one casino that offered free spins when i joined. It was total $70 or something, but of course i had to deposit some money and play with those until i got my money back. But i still got that $70 bonus out plus my winnings, so that was a nice experience.

If you are talking about free spins in betfury or freebitcoin wheel of fortune, i have never won on those type of daily free spins. And as far as i know is nearly impossible to win anything significant from those.

Well that ad is working for me as i need to try that game right now. I might need to adjust my expectations on winnings as his bet was $1,250. That's roughly 624900% higher then i am used to play with and 1.25k isn't something that normal people play slots with. Or was that play for fun mode? Anyway it's fun to watch someone doing that Smiley.

Faced a weird issue today which I have never encountered before, atleast with freebitco.in.
I got the free WoF spin in my email and when I clicked the captcha it just kept on loading.
It nevere loaded the captcha at all. Has anyone else faced this today ?
Yep, got that today and yesterday or day before that if i recall correctly. I just changed the browser from brave to something else and it worked. But as it doesn't happen all the time with the same browser i am thinking that there's a glitch in their end. It works with my android's brave browser as well.

However i am not going to bother their helpdesk with this, they have so many users it must have been filled with bug reports on this already

It is a very good analysis and I know that there are many things that can be guided by being successful, if there is not much demand how do they make it possible for them to sustain staking? It is something that I have also asked myself, but I see that the BFG topken is only a part of everything that can be generated from a casino, a casino gets a lot of money and that can be used to inject liquidity and thus have on the other hand a way to win in the very long term, what makes the BFG tokens more interesting is that the more the tokens are burned the more a tokenized economy will be forged and something more tending to deflation, but if the supply of tokens is manipulated this process yes It may take much longer, there must be a limited circulation of tokens and there are many, that is what makes it not become so strong and less so in this market with a bearish trend.
That's a good question. They need a solid game theory for their tokenomics, and i remember suggesting something before they implemented the farming system and that messed up my idea. After that i thought that there's no coming back from this and the token is doomed. But now when i looked it, and if i have understood correctly farming has stopped and there for deflationary system is back on the table?

If that's right i might actually buy the tokens but i need to check out their latest plans and suggestions they are considering now.

Sam has spent about $37 million on the current  government, and I assume the government will send him to a safe place to prove its loyalty to him.
That's not how the real world works. His crimes and misbehavior is too public to brush it under the rug anymore. Sam messed up big time in many ways but are donations from rich guys now illegal somehow? I though they were pretty common thing in US.

Also people seem to forget what triggered this bear run. It wasn't CZ catching the mismanagement of funds and collateral. Terra was the trigger that caused the panic, insolvency in everywhere, shorting etc.
