3181  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: November 16, 2018, 05:59:28 PM
Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

Good thing that you still kept your job instead of relying to much and putting a lot of work in cryptocurrencies because it is now hard to earn good money from it. Unlike last year of 2017 it is mot that hard to earn money in cryptocurrency because we do not have any problems in joining bounty campaigns that are not scams.
3182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind falling Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2018, 07:05:41 PM
BTC is still falling to the pit and I want to know the reasons behind it and do you think it will go down more!
I think the reason why the price of bitcoin is falling down because there are now a lot of countries who started to banned bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that causes to lose a lot of investors and i think people started to sell their bitcoins after the price of bitcoin reaches to $20,000 last year of 2017.
3183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Cryptos finally getting stable? on: November 11, 2018, 06:58:25 PM
It feels like it's this time of the year again for the bullish market. Not sure if it's gonna the same as last year though. But many will recover. Whaddya think?
Hoping that this 2019 cryptocurrency will become stable just like the end of the year of 2017 that the price of bitcoin reaches to $20,000 because this year the market is always in red or in a low price that we don't have any chance to sell some of our coin.
3184  Economy / Economics / Re: Government should implement blockchain technology to prevent corruption. on: November 11, 2018, 06:43:42 PM
Blockchain is a good technology that will be use as a tool of transparency to every transaction being done. The government should know and develop a system like this on their system. This will eradicate corruption or transactions being made under the table because there will be a transparency on every transactions and how much money is involve. The budget of the people will be obviously utilize to its intended purpose. Would you agree with this idea?
I think if the government start to implement blockchain technology it will never prevent corruption because the government will find another way for them to become more rich and by that i think government would be easily do corrupting money because they cannot be tracked so easily.
3185  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the problem of trust in projects? on: November 11, 2018, 06:28:23 PM
There are so many scam projects going on. people are now afraid of joining ico.
1.  i think ico should be removed. because the frauds have multiplied and people are now having difficulty in distinguishing the truth.

2. if there is no money to develop the project, please do not try to project it. also from the ico when it comes to the stock market is not 3k 5k. even lower than the price you get. because the investor does not know which one to buy.

3. no one is buying token, my regimen does not want to spend 3 or 5 years. when it gets 10% higher than it bought.

4. there are hundreds of projects in each stock exchange. Someone stop them.

Its true that a lot of people are having trust issues in ICO projects because there are now a lot of scams and delayed in listing of exchanges and distribution of tokens, that is why a lot of bounty hunters started to quit in joining ICO projects.
3186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: November 11, 2018, 06:22:12 PM
With addiction as a side effect of gambling, I do wish to know what exactly the success rate of your gambling is. How many times have you not found yourself facing simply losses and that you still pin hope on success?

Gambling allows you to think that you will win every time in spite of the losses that you incur. You feel that success is just missed by a margin as thin as a hair. Every time you lose, you do feel that success was almost there and you could have had it almost certainly. And since it was almost a success story just missed by a very thin margin, you do not mind going in for another try only to miss again by a thinner margin! One success and you are happy. But does it stop? No. You feel that your efforts have now borne fruit and here onward you will surely win every time you take a shot in that game. But what happens? You lose again by a margin thinner than the previous time.

In this way we are lured every time for that success almost at hand, which we saw but could not get hold of. And we try time and again because it is so near. The truth is that you will find you end up losing everything in the hope of laying your hands on that success. Only the extremely self-controlled man will stop himself from further gambling the moment he tastes success.

True, many times one success can compensate for all the losses incurred. But what we miss is that that success itself is extremely rare. It is not a bad thing to have hope. But hope serves when we work hard towards success not otherwise.
No. I did not find any success in gambling because even you won a lot of times in gambling and you still didn't stop from playing, for sure you will still end up losing all of your winnings and your money, that is why there are no gambler who became rich with gambling.
3187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC as a Scam on: November 11, 2018, 06:04:00 PM
There are a lot of projects that need an KYC of course it is a good idea also to protect their project so that they will know who's dealing with them. But there are some projects that starting from beginning they don't have an KYC required but when it come to the time that they need to distribute the stakes of bounty hunters they are asking for KYC,if the bounty hunter can not comply this where is their stake goes?if the project require an KYC they must announce it from the beginning not in distribution time.
I think it is a good idea that they should tell us if there will be a kyc required not before or while the distribution of tokens because we cannot say if they are trying to trick us just to use our information or something else, so before the project start they should announce it already for us to believe.
3188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your tokens? on: November 11, 2018, 05:18:26 PM
Hey guys, where do you store your tokens? On your ethereum wallet or on an exchange, or maybe you store your tokens somewhere else? Give me some recommendations, where my tokens will be in complete safety?
I store my tokens in my ethereum wallet because i think it is much safer if i store my tokens in my eth wallet, unlike pther wallets i am still not that sure if all of my tokens will be all safe because there are some issues that there are some wallets that can be easily be hacked by hackers.
3189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: November 11, 2018, 04:40:05 PM
Some of the gamblers are addicted so much to these casino games so they can't stay without playing even a single day.

I can stop completely without gambling and can control myself.

How about you and how long you can control yourself for not playing these games?
Please
I can stay long  without playing gambling because i am not that addicted to it. I only gamble if i am in the mood or if my friends just invited me to gamble with them or go to the casino, i am not really a gambler i only gamble for fun or for entertainment when i am hanging out with my friends.
3190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to use cryptocurrency in everyday life? on: November 10, 2018, 04:20:35 PM
Cryptocurrency is not yet 100% legalized in many countries, but are you psychologically ready to use it every day? Are you ready to get paid in the crypto? In your opinion, when will the dollar era end, and we will be able to fully use the cryptocurrency on a daily basis?

Thanks for the replies.
I think i am now ready to use cryptocurrency in my everyday life because i know how cryptocurrency works if i used it as a payment transaction. But if it happens there will be a lot of people who will make a lot of adjustments for them to be convenient in using cryptocurrency in their daily lives.
3191  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: November 09, 2018, 06:54:00 PM
The forum is full of topics - “When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $...”, “Why BTC is under $...?”, “Final bottom at $...”, “Why BTC is down again?”, “Bitcoin will rise again ?” etc. The last two topics may appear in various forms  a dozen times a day.
I looked at graph price of BTC out of curiosity. I have noted to the price floor:

2015 - $200+
2016 - $300+
2017 - $700+
2018 - $5000+

Do you see something frightening in it?

We all can see that price drops because of actions by a Governments and big whales. Because they have the means and opportunities. They want to break into the our market on advantageous terms for them. Okay, well, I mean, that makes sense. We knew it would happen. But why that have to affect us?

In December 2017, the most people said - "Why I didn't buy BTC for $500… for $1000… f#ck it!.. for $2000...", "I will definitely buy BTC if it costs $7k-6k!..". But now when the price drops so well for us, we see "The demand for BTC is dropping". Seriously?!

So, instead to take advantage of the situation, buy up coins and altcoins, attract new people in crypto world more active than before, a lot of people stuck in indecision and think whether crypto market falls to the bottom and stays there.

Guys, are you serious? Crypto world is made by us. Governments and big whales haven’t any tricks to rule our world. It will happen only if we do nothing.

What do you think about it?

The reason why people moan about the price of bitcoin because the price of bitcoin today is decreasing and most of us are waiting to recover its price upto $20,000 again. Not only the price of bitcoin starts to decrease because all cryptocurrencies don't have a good value today, that is why we are all hoping that the market would raise its price again.
3192  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why other ban cryptocurrencies on: November 09, 2018, 06:37:10 PM
The main reason for prohibitions is very simple. Transfers in a currency different from the national one, lead to poor economic performance, including GDP (one of the main indicators). This way, it is easier to launder money or transfer funds outside the country. Neither banks nor payment processors will get their interest.
McCall Robinson a manager of Merchant Accounts, believes that most countries prohibit Bitcoin because it cannot be regulated and he said that. "Many governments do not like the very idea that there is another form of currency that they are not able to control. The supervision takes place on the Internet. Some countries consider it as danger to their society and government.
The reason why the government of other countries banned cryptocurrencies because they believe in rumors in social media that cryptocurrency is just a way to trick other people to get away your money or it is just all about scam, that is why there are some people that are afraid to invest their money in cryptocurrency.

3194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is best wallet for long term bitcoin holding? on: September 30, 2018, 12:22:51 AM
What is best wallet for long term bitcoin holding? I want to choose one wallet for bitcoin holding. Which one is best and have no bugs and problems? Which one is worse? Which one is easy to instal and easy to use. Which one you just prefer for long term holding.

Best wallet for long term bitcoin and the one that I prefer is the hardware wallet because you could do back up there. Easy to install are those mobile applications wallet. The worse is web base wallet because as from what I know and we all know that on a web there is a lot of viruses and worms that could exploit your wallet, so its very unsafe to let you use web base wallets for your tokens. Always remember that in www (world wide web) is the place where any people can hack you easily.
3195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand Legalize Crypto currency on: August 10, 2018, 05:54:01 PM
While there are several nations which are passing laws against crypto world.  Thailand has entered the list of the nations which have legalized crypto currency.  Thailand is mainly dependent on tourism industry.  So I think it is wise decision on t he part of a country where major source of income is from tourism.  So it will attract more tourists to this country.
It will benefit a lot to the country and is healthy signal for the health of Bitcoin family.

This is a good news and a good start for adopting the bitcoin as a change for the real money. Its good that they adopted and learned about Bitcoin. I think its gonna be helpful if Thailand would promote it so that the other country all over the world would recognize the Bitcoin and how it works.
3196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: August 08, 2018, 10:24:07 AM
Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?

They see it as a threat. I think because central banks must be trusted not to debase the currencies. I mean, we trust banks with our money but in return they somehow manipulate it and steal some of it.
3197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD WE GET ALL HATERS OF BITCOIN OUT OF HERE? on: July 30, 2018, 02:24:37 PM
This forum was created for people to learn more about bitcoin and not to hate it or spread false information about it. Guys, is it enough that these days we sit here Angry and here all sorts of FUD being spread about bitcoin saying all sorts of things which are not true???
Let's not forget that it is as a result of these these FUDs that brings all sorts of panic sells which brings the value of bitcoin down and what bores me is that at the end the come back here and say, "Finally bitcoin is dead" forgetting the very fact that they were the very ones that caused it. But they can't because bitcoin is still strong.

Its better to stand your side than thinking about the other side. There are no perfect place, everything there is someone who will spread hate because its their perception but for us we need to know what's right and what we think would help us.
3198  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we teach children to have businessman mentality or be successful employee on: July 21, 2018, 12:35:45 PM
We all have that thought why do Chinese people actually make it in the business world. The reason apparently is that at an early age, their parents are conditioning the minds of their children to do business in the hopes that they will actually be heirs to their family business.
In your opinion, should we be teaching them the same or teaching them to be successful employees for the sake of climbing up the economic ladder?

We should start now teaching children to have a business mentality instead of being a successful employee. Because making yourself employed for such a long term will not make you rich, maybe it will satisfy you when you have the job you want but still you're just a helper in that specific company. Whereas, on a business mentality you try to think outside of the box of what you could possibly invent something. Remember the tag line that our parents always say? "Study hard and graduate for you to have a better work for your future." Which is a wrong mentality. Parents should say, "study hard and graduate for you to be able to create something that is your own, make your own company and make the money work for you."
3199  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Economy Grow Forever? on: July 21, 2018, 10:30:28 AM
Few people are trying to claim ignorance. They trust that the Earth's assets are boundless and that a bean stalk can develop to the sky. Or on the other hand maybe they know somewhere down in their heart that we are making a course for an ecological and monetary fiasco, one that they think only they will get by through minds, gold, and firearms.
Others accept intensely that innovation will safeguard us out once more, that smart primates will dependably locate another apparatus that will enable us to separate always stuff from the planet.
Up until this point. Changes in horticulture, back, government, assembling and transportation kept pace with the populace development.
The advancement in technology improved economy from past many years but do you think it will grow forever or their will be reduction in resources?

Economy will not grow forever but the economy will sometimes degrade and sometimes upgrade. That is reality.
3200  Economy / Economics / Re: What are your plans for the next 5 years in Finance? on: July 21, 2018, 09:25:55 AM
I want to have "Passive Income"
I will raise capital to build a business that can provide me with passive income, so in my old age I do not need to work to earn money, how about you?
do you have an idea to build a business that can provide passive income with minimal capital?

I agree with the quote above. I don't want to spend the rest of my life working for money. Someday I want money to work for me. I think that is my goal for the next 5 years in Finance.
