Why it has to be cooked so long? Chicken is delicate meat, isn't that too much?

key is temp of 240f  = 115c  it allows for slow cooking.

this is much like crockpot cooking.

It warms the home and gives spectacular aroma. It is meant for a cool winter day.

I have fast recipes for chicken which involve stir fry style .

A suggestion is to find a good escrow guy until you are a bit more established.

Offer to place   about 3 or 4 btc in the escrow as insurance policy for people that place a miner in your hands.

It is a show of good faith. To the community.

At sloopy I read your well thought out post.
I do admire that you take time to write that style of post.

It is a difficult place to communicate.

I spent a lot of time thinking and checking math from pool to pool.
While I play with other pools I mine here.

Eight avalon6s and 1 s-7.

Planning to grow it over the next month.

No one not any pool can match the 106% lifetime luck this pool has.

I simply tell everyone in btc think in terms of 100 blocks. Not 1 or 2 blocks.

Yeah we had a 500% block so what.just check our luck for the last 100 blocks.

It is well over 100 %.

One thing everyone needs to understand 100 % luck is the norm only in a perfect game.  Where everything is perfectly equal.
An example would be me flipping a coin 100 times in Monday and then flipping the same coin 100 times on Tuesday .  I should get 50-50 each time.

Btc pools are not as perfectly equal as the example I just gave.

Since this pool has the best lifetime performance of any btc pool over 500 blocks it is a good sign that this is simply the best pool to mine at.

about 4 to 7 hours left to pick  lots of numbers left to go.

Really is hard to believe I kept thinking we would see some gear come online and pick up.... so far I'm very wrong.  And happy to be wrong.

Price is taking a little drop around 424 currently. So price going in wrong direction.

The big guns shut something down a really big farm.

Sales to little guys are not high maybe 1000 units of s-7 batch 10 and 1000 units of s-7 batch 11.
2000-3000 s-7s = 13ph or 14 ph.

The big farm is over 75ph. Maybe as big as 150 ph..

So - 125 and + 15 ph = - 110 ph   We have seen the network 100 ph higher then today.

That missing 110 ph where is it? I don't know guesses abound we have put up more then Ten ideas.

Let's hope most of the missing hash stays missing.

31892  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Review] Avalon 6 Miner - Winter Mining - Notlist3d - Also FAQ and Help on: February 28, 2016, 01:35:18 AM
Since I acquired my Avalon6 used and without a Raspberry Pi, I have been fiddling around a bit with getting all setup. I have found out a few things that I thought others might find of value, since I haven't seen them mentioned elsewhere.

1) The various Raspberry Pi firmware images I expect use the original OpenWRT setup in terms of networking. This means that they have a static IP address and won't try and use DHCP to get an address. This makes some sense if it was actually a router, but it's not. The one image I looked into had a static IP address of 192.168.0.100. If you use the image that Notlist3d created, then it has DHCP already set.

2) The base image from ehash.com is actually quite small. It would almost certainly fit on a 1 Gbyte card, if that's what you happen to have. No need for an 8GB card.

3) As downloaded, the initial login is root with NO PASSWORD. Once you are in, you can add a password to root, and also enable ssh.

4) It appears that OpenWRT doesn't use the usual Linux shutdown -h command to shut down the raspberry Pi cleanly. Instead it appears you use "poweroff" from the command line (i.e. ssh in), and wait about 10 seconds. I am always nervous about just yanking the power on a running Pi, to avoid SD card corruption. Yes, it's inconvenient to have to ssh in, but it sure avoids the anguish of  corrupted SD card.

The ehash website has some documents that aren't specifically for the Avalon6, but are for an earlier generation of the Avalon seies, The basic items mentioned above are in there I think. They haven't done much to change their basic strategy for OpenWRT setup since earlier generations. You can also observe the kano.is pool address in the download image. It's unfortunate they don't also switch to DHCP as well.

Don't worry much about bad sdcards. I suggest having 2 or 3 spare cards and 1 spare rasp pi.

If you have four or five Avalon 6s.

If you have 1 avalon6 have at least one sdcard.

All are working. US shipment only. Og Nasty escrow.

1.18 BTC ea. for the A6's

0.33 BTC for the SP20E

Includes US shipping

Includes the serial daisy chain cable + "converter circuit"

I would take 1 avalon6

 I am in NJ 07731

I have coin in hand let me know.

also og n works for me as escrow.

pm has been sent.

I sent a PM too to him. Since the price was quite nice but he only ship to the US Sad

if you want we could buy them all between us.

send them to me and then I send 1 or 2 to you.

At op we will take  3 you  if you have them,

looks like I will take them for the solar array  2 and maybe 1 for HerbPean

they arrived today..  2 work .  still trying to get third one to start.

It may be a usb issue. not the miner.

I will test over nite and ask OgNasty to release fund on Sunday.

Dear philipma1957,

I am a new miner and Electricity in my country cost for 1 miner is USD 8/month/miner.

I ordered my second miner on 23 Feb.

Shipped on 25 Feb.

And it is in the customs and will be delivered Tomorrow XD.

I paid by bank transfer.

Thank you,

and mine are yet to ship.  I guess my mentioning they owe 150 usd  me from batch 1 caused the delay.

here are my batch 11 payments.

Ohh.. Thought he said his address was : 15awcsvGd2xyVwab5eq1RSGfzG8ESY9Vf5

that is where he sent it.

I sent to that address when I fund my bittrex account so I was aware that he is most likely not lying and simply fucked up.

Maybe it is a good fuckup for him.

When I read stories like his I usually do something like this.

One time it worked and a block was hit on the very day coins went to 500 usd last year.

The amazing thing is I did a 30 hour rental someone saw what I did and point his s-7 at the same address ie mine and said if it hits split the block ⅓ each.  2 hours after my rental he hit the block with his s-7 so the guy that was screwed coins got 8 I got 8 the guy with the s-7 got 8

to make things better while we waited for block to confirm coin price went from 390 to 499.  I cashed my 8 coins at 492 each.  maybe some of that lightening hits here

Hi Phil,

yes was a nice Block Hit last year  Smiley  ... unfortunately our second try for "wmtomsolino" (i think that was his avatar) wasn't same as lucky ... i think he didn't needed the Coins Tongue

So, what do you think? should i step in again, your decision if, and how to split the Coins after we hit, we will for sure Cheesy

Awaiting your reply! In case you say yes, how many hours left from now to catch that Block? (i mean when will your rental finish)

Best Wishes!

Fingolfin

P.S It was 3 x SP20 + 1 x S7 ... and an SP 20 hit the Block  Smiley ... Also i only wanted 4,5 Coins for my step in, but i was fine with your decision to split by three.

P.P.S. Side Note : Yes, you have to eat chicken guys  Cheesy ... look at that 502% Block

I did 30 hours this time. it is up to you bro.

Public Note: fund for bittrix

Doesn't this mean he sent 293.33017647BTC?
No...

This is the transaction:

6e3bf6483bb2f10ed2f5938f2649c570bd0c3ab5d7b5e86ed3bdecce5455ac51

I don't know how he did it, but take a look at the input and outputs.  The input has ~2.35BTC in address 1J... the two outputs are a 1BTC to address 15a... and 0.35BTC back to the same 1J... address.  Oops... that leaves a 1BTC fee for the miners.

yeah he most likely uses blockchain info wallet and did the fee wrong.

I did it once but the amount was more then my wallet so I was saved.
