Dear CKPool Kano,

Good day to you CK Pool Kano Admin,

I want to seek help from any of CKPool Kano Mining company regarding my problem, I was trying to find email address where I can contact CK Pool Kano but I can't find one. So I am trying my luck to post my problem here, that somebody might help me from concerned people here.

So here is my problem;

I encountered big trouble happened Feb. 18 with my bitcoin transaction using https://blockchain.info/, I sent 1 BTC to this address 15awcsvGd2xyVwab5eq1RSGfzG8ESY9Vf5 , but there was an error for unknown reason that the transaction fee was accidentally 1 bitcoin and I only noticed this after sending my bitcoin to the said address above.

I want to ask support how if possible to recover my 1 BTC that was deducted as transaction fee. Please refer to my transaction below indicating 1 BTC transaction fee :

https://blockchain.info/address/15awcsvGd2xyVwab5eq1RSGfzG8ESY9Vf5

My transaction was relayed by Kano CKPool at Height #399022

https://blockchain.info/block-index/1070568

I wish I could refund back my loss 1 BTC and return to my wallet address :

1JmFmpbKq7S36J7w2zpXPhJHFFj9Zc4Gbr

I really appreciate your big help if I anyone can help me recover back my 1 BTC transaction fee by mistake.

Hoping that a good heart from CK Kano company could read my message.

Thank you and best regards,

Manuel de Leon

i'm sure kano will reply as well, but that fee was split between all miners here, which is currently 880 people. Refunding your fee would be the same as stealing from all 880 of us now.

Like d57heinz I feel bad for you, but it's unlikely youll get any refund.

I don't get it that 1BTC 'loss'...

Even though it was 'relayed' by Kano's Pool what does it have to do with your payment? It's not the pool's fault for solving a block that had that high transaction fee in it, no?
Unless you paid him directly and overpaid him why is that his problem??

So what's the problem? I'm lost....

ps.
The guy is sending hundreds of BTC at a time with fees going up to 6+BTC.

You are a generous man, Phil.

I do not expect kano.is to pay him back for his error.

but he was funding his bittrex account .35 and paid a 1 btc fee.

no way he meant to do that.

bittrex then sent a few hundred coins and paid a 6 coin fee that has nothing to do with him.

I can afford to buy a small 30 hour contract   and maybe karma strikes.

Ohh.. Thought he said his address was : 15awcsvGd2xyVwab5eq1RSGfzG8ESY9Vf5

LOL. I didn't know you could complain to the pool that relays the transmission, otherwise I'd have trie to get some of that missing 2.7BTC from last year that just went to 'oblivion'... ROFL

Good luck to him then.

Ohh.. Thought he said his address was : 15awcsvGd2xyVwab5eq1RSGfzG8ESY9Vf5

that is where he sent it.

I sent to that address when I fund my bittrex account so I was aware that he is most likely not lying and simply fucked up.

Maybe it is a good fuckup for him.

When I read stories like his I usually do something like this.

One time it worked and a block was hit on the very day coins went to 500 usd last year.

The amazing thing is I did a 30 hour rental someone saw what I did and point his s-7 at the same address ie mine and said if it hits split the block ⅓ each.  2 hours after my rental he hit the block with his s-7 so the guy that was screwed coins got 8 I got 8 the guy with the s-7 got 8

to make things better while we waited for block to confirm coin price went from 390 to 499.  I cashed my 8 coins at 492 each.  maybe some of that lightening hits here

I just jumped in with roughly 120 TH.  Will be adding another 30 tomorrow.

Welcome to the pool, and at a good time to only see a short part of that killer block. Hopefully now we will hit lots of blocks for our weekend blockathon  Grin

No...

This is the transaction:

6e3bf6483bb2f10ed2f5938f2649c570bd0c3ab5d7b5e86ed3bdecce5455ac51

I don't know how he did it, but take a look at the input and outputs.  The input has ~2.35BTC in address 1J... the two outputs are a 1BTC to address 15a... and 0.35BTC back to the same 1J... address.  Oops... that leaves a 1BTC fee for the miners.

yeah he most likely uses blockchain info wallet and did the fee wrong.

I did it once but the amount was more then my wallet so I was saved.

Since I saw the public note about it funding Bittrex, I figured he was using blockchain.info as a wallet.  Why they would allow you to create a transaction like that is beyond me.  I don't think their UI should allow for a user to manually enter miner fees.  Especially not when the UI is as poorly designed as theirs is, even though he had to go to the custom transaction type to create the transaction he did.
