getting pumped is not at all the same as "gaining a lot of ground".
getting pumped is a temporary state where altcions enter whenever there is some hype surrounding them, there are whales and insiders who first buy it at the bottom, then the rest of good traders who see the signs who will get in and finally as the price goes up the rest come in and the last group are the newbies who always get in too late and buy at the peak just to lose a lot of money as the whales start dumping on them.
this process has nothing to do with gaining grounds...
Fifth position by market cap I would say means gaining ground. Above Monero, Litecoin, two coins that I also like. |

Exactly my thoughts I have my eyes on EOS for sometime now and my thinking was to wait a little I thought it might dip more or at least there is no reason for it to rise now so I will be catching it either way , Guess I was wrong or in another words crypto is never predictable . Wish I did not postpone buying in to it  . What I learned in crypto is that the wheel turns and you may have other chances to buy the same coin at missed price or better. I bet on this being an artificial rise. |

Why does it rise, who knows? The only info I found are articles about the rise itself, not about the coin.
speculants are mad boys, they dont act according to reasons just according to information I agree, it sure looks like a pump with nothing to back it up. A desperate action to create FOMO and get people into buying it now? |

I can definitely tell you TRON is the worse one of the two. It's whitepaper was almost a complete forgery of another Japanese cryptocurrency. Its founder has many false advertising claims on him including one from the Chinese online retail giant AliBaba. Dubious owner, forged whitepaper and an unoriginal idea which has been around since many years anyway. So yeah, avoid TRON.
I agree on this one. XVG is better from the two. |

The picture of the hacker replying to a support ticket was quite surprising to me. Sad that they have got away with it as well. How do you think these hacks should be avoided? What most people from crypto sphere must understand:
With huge profit comes huge risk.
If your value of the coins is in FIAT, you must realize that +1000% can have -100%,-200%,-300%, ...
Try to create an INDEX of the top 10 coins you like and transfer the value of the coins in regard to that INDEX. Or just use your total holding in btc, xmr, bch,...
Holding is not bullshit, you sell and you buy, you hold and you sell, I see no problem in both.

What exactly is the use case for Bitcoin Cash? I know what Ethereum is used for but have not heard a compelling use case for BCH other than that it is a slight technical improvement on BTC but not nearly as widely accepted.
You go buy yourself something from bitmain with ETH, or using bitpay with ETH. Oh wait, you can't. This topic is ridiculous, I don't understand why you revived it, it was nice dead from August. |

With bitmain releasing ASIC's, how will ethereum get affected? A constant release of ethash ASICs will get to destruction of coins with poor security due to little hashing power.(ethash coins)
