where i can read any information  VoteCentral ? thank you . Happy Friday.
We will have platform where people can vote, for impotant decisions like forks, it will be multi languages
https://deeponion.org/community/threads/i-dont-really-understand-much-about-vote-central-idea-in-term-of-decentralization.7849/#post-105148

Will this platform be on the forum or into the wallet?

It would be amazing if it was integrated in the wallet. That would be much better than a centralized solution on the forum.

Well it wouldn't be better, it NEEDS to be onchain, you cant centralize this vote on the forum of the coin, that would remove the whole purpose of it...  Most coin ive seen that has voting is of course on chain, every DPoS coin requires voting for the delegates and its all done onchain, cannot be done any other way.

The VoteCentral is an interesting concept and I am not sure, how big the influence of this center should be. It makes sense, that the early supporters of the coin can decide the future direction of the coin; however, this might lead to some disagreement in the community.

Regarding the question, if it should be online, on the wallet or on the chain, I currently found all of it appropriate. gigabyted, could you elaborate, why it "HAS" to be on the chain?

Are there other altcoin examples of VoteCentrals? How did they approach the issue? What did go right, what did go wrong? I think, we should learn from their successes and mistakes.

Kind regards,
Halcyon D.

Couldn't the voting process be proof of stake like? So if someone with 1% of the supply votes then the vote's weight is exactly 1% of all votes (assuming everybody casts a vote).

When poloniex?

when hitbtc?
when bitfinex?

PIVX need to be Listed on more exchanges.
more exchanges, more popularity.

I am totally impressed by your reasoning. It makes a lot of sense. Are you a maths scientist? PIVX is already well positioned.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EthereumBitcoin (BTCE) - the ONE TRUE and GENUINE (ERC20) Bitcoin. btcetoken.com on: November 08, 2017, 09:39:22 PM
Many said Bitcoin would never be $1000+ either and they stayed away from Bitcoin - and history proved them wrong.

Cryptocurrency is new, and it's like where the Internet was in the early 1990's, having massive long term potential.

With that, NEVER said $1000 in NEAR future, but it's possible LONG term. How? Many are calling for $1 million Bitcoin and only the future will confirm this to be the case, or not. If Bitcoin does go to $1 million each, seeing $1000 for EthereumBitcoin (BTCE) is very possible LONG term, given BTCE is faster and cheaper and the one true alternative to Bitcoin.

Many said Bitcoin would never be $1000, or $2000, or $3,000 or $4,000 or $5,000 or $6,000 and higher, but history proved them all wrong. With that, we believe EthereumBitcoin (BTCE) is a great LONG term hold, having massive potential to go up high, especially if Bitcoin keeps climbing up higher, which it most likely will, LONG term.

Also, MOST don't know about EthereumBitcoin (BTCE) yet, as it's just new to market. And, as more people learn about EthereumBitcoin ahead, highly likely BTCE's price will only go up by it, LONG term - even more so if Bitcoin goes to $10,000 and $20,000 or higher, LONG term.

LONG TERM:

EthereumBitcoin is not focused on seeing BTCE going up to .20 cents in a few days and then it falls back down to less than .01 cent quickly like all the copy-cat and fakes, as all those behind them abandon their projects when they are done dumping their copy-cat tokens. Rather, EthereumBitcoin (BTCE) is fully committed in working LONG TERM to see EthereumBitcoin (BTCE) being adopted as a widespread Global Cryptocurrency, given it's the one true alternative to Bitcoin.

Note:
EthereumBitcoin (BTCE) is not connected with any other Token or Cryptocurrency or people associated with any other Token or Cryptocurrency.

Best!

No matter how much you write or talk or whatever, why don't you just keep calm for now and start development? Development is the only thing you can prove all the doubters wrong with. Even your headline suggests you are megalomaniac.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VOT]: VoteCoin - a new era of anonymous crypto democracy on: November 08, 2017, 09:36:32 PM
It has been little over 2 weeks from the end of the ICO. We spent some time trying to get VOT to exchanges, some time recruiting more work force and now we have finally jumped on development. We collected only fraction of the necessary funds during ICO and we did NOT reach our milestone for GUI Wallet. But we want to continue on this project, since we are convinced that the idea of using VoteCoin for public voting, crowd funding and opinion surveys has big potential. Unfortunately due to lack in financing, things may go little bit slower.

We agree with your suggestions that our top priority should be VoteCoin GUI Wallet now.

There are several possible ways to go:

1) The Quick way - we can fork or extend some existing software, such as https://github.com/zencashio/eleos and release it as VOT Wallet. We're not willing to go this way, since such wallet brings no new features to VoteCoin. We prefer to focus on developing our own software. But if there is a community member who wants to try this, we will surely support that effort by providing links from our website to such fork.

2) The Satisfactory way - we can develop a solution to provide some sort of GUI on top of the text-mode wallet. Technically, you would still need to run the text-mode wallet as you do it now, and at the same time you would be able to access the most common features through your web browser, which would communicate with the textmode wallet. This way we could create appealing GUI wallet in a reasonable time, but this would be a bit uncomfortable and unprofessional. On the other hand, the code implemented for this solution could be mostly reused for our final GUI wallet too, so we may be able to do this within the next few weeks.

3) The Best way - we prefer to continue developing VoteCoin GUI wallet with all the features we want (especially the voting) in Electron, or similar multi-platform framework. Our dev team estimates that this will take few months to be completed and properly tested. We hope to provide such wallet in first quarter of 2018.

Right now it is difficult to judge how strong your team actually is in tech dev. Let's be serious here, usually it would be best if you go for the best way of course. As long as you are sure you can pull it off and we can see some activity on GitHub. In our wonderful crypto open source environment, I do think at the same time that it is not a shame to fork something which serves the purpose in a good way. But if you have something even better in mind just go for it.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blockbid: 90% Reduction in Coin Supply on: November 08, 2017, 09:28:08 PM
If the funds collected from the sale of 3 million tokens is not enough to run the platform, how will you find additional money?

We have a large network of traditional investors that are interested in providing equity funding if required - but if we sell the full 3m tokens then that should be sufficient

But wouldn't it make sense to get the large network of traditional investors on board anyway?

They are already on board in that many of them are friends that support our project - but if we don't need their money we aren't going to take it just for the sake of increasing our bank balance...

All good! And yes we are always open to equity investment also as long as it's on fair terms.

No of course not to just increase your bank balance but maybe you have good use cases for the money and could expand the team and development, marketing and all that stuff. But yes, you know better what to do and how to proceed with your stuff than I do I guess Smiley Just saying

Hey was checking by here and saw you answered my post while it seems it didn't work out properly. Empty quote!

Hello,I do have a question ,if I will have in my wallet 9999 coins, the next airdrop do I get approximately 760 coins?

Yeah last airdrop was around 7% intrest.

So with 10k coins you will get around 700-750 new coins

Still crazy numbers for an airdrop as we are speaking about a juicy $500 addition to your valuable bag, not too bad Wink

sorry to be less enthousiastic than you are.....

but really not a lot of people have that number of coins in their wallet and are able to benefit to the same extend than BEFORE
with previous rules.

You will tell me, yeah but now new comers are able to join... yeah right, to get 7-10 ONIONS... what a great reward for the
promotion that every one is doing for the coin through the signature campaign and the posting.

I am sorry, but with previous rules, I was personally getting over 2.5x more ONIONS per airdrop.
That is right, I am not a large bag holders... sorry. I am an average member ;-)

At this time, the rules are essentially good for large bags holders and detrimental for average holders and supporters with limited ressources
(beeing time or money).

I was thinking the new rules would have been good due to less restrictions and larger availability but in fact, the results is clearly not
the one it should have been for the vast majority of members.

My post was not by any means meant to discredit you. I admit the distribution is quite a bit skewed now but both ways have their advantages and disadvantages.

trading volume just went over $1m again and price is ticking up. I projecting a price of at least $17-$18 within a couple of weeks.  All the cowards must have sold by now. ha ha

900% within a couple of weeks is an optimistic prediction to say the least Wink But why not? I would take it  Cool

I figure Monero and Dash are over $1,000,000,000 market cap so PIVX must be worth at least $1,000,000,000. Actually more than Monero because it has a proven Governance system.  And more than Dash because it has true anonymity (zerocoin protocol).

So yes conservatively $17.50 each which would give it a $1,000,000,000 market cap.

PIVX is shit, because the devs fail miserably at testing new features.

PIVX is shit? Nice to have you on board here or why are you even watching this thread?

You seriously market this coin as being a $1000 coin in the very near future. Such claims usually make me shy away within a blink of an eye from any project. Why would you do that if you are serious about your stuff?
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VOT]: VoteCoin - a new era of anonymous crypto democracy on: November 04, 2017, 12:21:35 PM
To launch cross platform GUI wallet is a great idea. But devs should point deadline for that and for other development features.

And miners cant wait something in future they need return money for thier rigs.
And naive to believe that exchanges will list VOT when GUI wallet worked. They look for coin potential in big community, future development and coin application.

It can be when GUI wallet luanch the community and miners support become so low that all good VoteCoin features dont need anyone. So here I agree with ianj.

Devs should done new roadmap with deadlines and add more marketing in VoteCoin evolution.
I think listing on good exchange is a prime aim so devs need to get actual status for listing from Yobit team.

99.9% of people are unable to use a wallet without GUI. How do you want to build a big community if people can't use the wallet?  Cheesy What do you want to market?  Cheesy
GUI wallet -> bigger community -> support of the exchanges

I 100% agree, if you can't get a decent GUI out then this won't go anywhere. People don't want to invest the time to figure out complicated ways to get this working.

From that point of view you might be right but there could also be other factors which the market values differently it seems. With market caps of those sizes I doubt the market is completely off. Do you think you analysis is sufficient? To be honest I don't know .PIVX is absolutely great no doubt about that.

Hey everyone,

We want to apologize about this but we are not able to release the QT Windows wallet today. Our original plan wasn't compatible enough for Windows and we had not recalculated the time it would take to make it compatible enough. The wallet is on it's way but we just don't know yet when it's good for use. We are giving our self as the maximum amount of time one week. We have made some upgrades to the Electrum wallet and have a new server on port 50002 SSL this is the new server address, pool.bilbotel.fr. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi SHIELD_Joe,

I asked it already some days ago but are you also going to compile a wallet for Mac?

Yes, we are going to but it could take a while still. We are first going to create the Windows and maybe even the Android wallet. You can however run a vm and acces a wallet like that. We also have insturction on how you can compile for Mac yourself in our github readme. https://github.com/ShieldCoin/SHIELD

Ok no problem just take your time. I know how to do it with a virtual machine but I think I am not literate enough to compile it myself (or maybe just too lazy Tongue).
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR ⚡ DeepVault ⚡ Cryptopia ⚡ 🚀 Airdrop 16 of 40 Rounds 🚀 on: November 01, 2017, 01:54:11 PM

After what happened to Novaexchange, now we know that being listed on only one exchange is dangerous for a coin. I hope the devs and mods will soon list Deep Onion on other exchanges aside from Cryptopia.

As I understand,  more are in the works.  Some of the bigger exchanges,  especially like Bittrex have been much slower to add new coins with the fear of Gov. crackdowns on "securities".     So it requires more work and money to get listed.         It's tough to burn the candles at both ends, but the devs/mods always respond to the challenges laid before them.

We have the ball rolling for at least 1 more, probably 2. We will not be in this situation again. While we quickly resolved it, it served as a notice as well.
I know for sure that Deeper (moderator on Deeponion forum) has applied for the monthly coin contest on Binance.... once the votation starts we should all vote in order to see DO even on Binance, which would be terrific!

And there is a good chance it will become reality. So many people here supporting the coin, if they all cast their vote in favor of DO we might be good to go!

Is it ok if I put paper wallet as my wallet address for airdrop? Because I'm still have my wallet out of sync but I wanna join to airdrop. Also I have minimal requirements are Jr. member rank and wear signature?

As long as the address you provide is valid I don't think there will be any problem. You just need to make sure you can access the wallet whenever you want.
