321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens like me? on: January 23, 2019, 03:03:58 PM
Those tokens will remain useless forever, no sane person would want to buy a token with no value, just make sure you buy token with good background and well known next time, loading your bag with shit token is like throwing money in to the sea.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who dump coins early; Bounty hunters or ICO investors? on: January 23, 2019, 01:25:10 PM
Its so sad when we have been made to believe its bounty hunters who dump their bounty tokens immediately after ICO and so devalue the coins on the market. Because of this notion, project managers these days try to delay bounty rewards while some even go ahead to give small rewards so that the actions of bounty hunters will not affect the price of their coins. Now I participated in this bounty and we were paid late as usual. We went to the market and realized the price was already down, even below the ICO price. So who caused it ? I think we should have a second look at this issue. Don't you think its the investors who get bonuses during the ICO who try to dump their bonuses for profit and not the bounty hunters as we have been made to believe?. Let me hear your opinions guys
Investors have larger percentage of the token issued during an ico, investors dump token more then bounty hunters, likewise some greedy team as well dump token value sometimes especially teams with no intension of developing the project for a long time.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee - has offcially lost his mind! Exiled, plans to run for the campaign on: January 23, 2019, 01:17:16 PM
He has become a public laughing stock, he cares only about money he makes advertising for ico but not his integrity good thing IRS are after him to me he is nothing but a clown who has used his polarity to his own personal advantage by enriching his pocket.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be deceived... on: January 17, 2019, 04:59:08 PM
This is a time we all need to be very careful. So many will be coerced into selling what they have, but i tell you, never allow yourself to be deceived. It will definitely get better. A little patience will not harm you.
Times like this will surely come, only the strong can overcome.
last year was difficult year for crypto same early 2019 things haven't change yet but patient is the rule of the game, impatient investors are out of the market, it will take time but things will turn around for good soon.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.. on: January 17, 2019, 04:55:59 PM
Bounty campaigns that are potentially scam would give very high amount of reward to attrack many bounty hunters if so you should check if the project and the team is reliable, if the reward is low and the campaign is likely to be scam never join in.
That is true, outrageous and big bounty pool is a red flag and a signal that a project could end up as scam, every bounty i have done with huge pool have all ended up being scam. You have a good point.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STO vs ICO on: January 17, 2019, 04:38:02 PM
STO is more or less like ICO the difference is that STO is issued under more strict regulations, STO is a security token where investors get shares from the revenue of the company which issued it at a particular set period of time while ico is less regulated which gives room for a lot of company to run away with investors fund.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Bounty hunters on: January 17, 2019, 04:00:51 PM
I hope Bitcointalk will start caring about its people ,there should be new moderators that can fish out bad projects on here to avoid wasting time of bounty hunters ,and about KYC ive come to think of it as many bounty hunters don't like KYC I'm sure if Bitcointalk is the one asking for KYC so as to limit frauds and multiple accounts bounty hunters won't complain, we will follow the rules ,but first 'SAFE US FROM BAD SCAMMY PROJECTS' ,no matter how wise we investigate a project they end up been scam ,scammers are getting wiser as well.looook at desico for example Shocked Can anyone tell me if he/she knew Desico is a scam from day one? I guess not
It is your personal job to screen out scam project, actually i admit it's not easy to discover a good project but some greenlight and instinct will tell you this particular project might succeed.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to unshared bounty tokens? on: January 17, 2019, 02:46:02 PM
Have you ever asked yourself this question?
What happens to unallocated bounty tokens?
There have been several bounty campaigns where some participants do not qualify after being screened, such as those who fail to pass the kyc due to multiple accounts or other reasons, detected bots or cheaters who use other people's details.
Most times, stakes would have been calculated and tokens allocated on the spreadsheet to be submitted for distribution, before the screening process is completed. Which then means that some tokens will be left undistributed.
Where do these tokens then go to?

In my opinion, in order to reward the faithful and sincere hunters, I want to suggest that all the screening should first be completed, before stakes are calculated and prior to allocation of tokens to bounty participants.
So stakes should not be calculated for cheaters.

This is just my opinion, it is opened to discussion.
What do you think?
It is done intentionally to give out little tokens to bounty participants, they know what they are doing, a good bounty manager would have removed and disqualified undeserving participants before sharing stakes if otherwise then the manager and the team did it to reduce token to be given.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A bounty telegram channel that do not update is a warning sign on: January 17, 2019, 02:34:52 PM
I just got out of Excolony bounty campaign I don't know if they will still pay bounty hunters, but if the bounty channel have no one on the team or the bounty manager is not login anymore in this forum this  is a warning sign for bounty hunters to consider, do you have similar experience like this.
A dead social media platform of project signal dead team/project continue with such bounty campaign is absolute waste of time and energy, it is better to quit and search for another project, you have taken the right decision to stop working for the project.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC? on: January 17, 2019, 02:05:09 PM
Ripple won't takeover from bitcoin in the nearest future , i don't think it is feasible presently but later in the future anything can happen when ripple took over from ethereum i couldn't imagine it and it happened so over taken is allowed.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DESICO IS A SCAM on: January 17, 2019, 10:23:05 AM
Don't tell me this is real about them upon the whole kyc they requested for, imagain those stupid project rejected my ID saying it's not qualified for the kyc, am glad I never dropped more of my ID. I also noticed those projects always worried about kyc is always fishy to me.
In this ICO project, many documents of my friends who tried to pass the KYC check at DESICO were rejected. Therefore, I argue that the verification of KYC, if it is not carried out at the initial stage of the project, is aimed at not paying the tokens to bounty hunters. The ICO DESICO team used various combinations of fraudulent activities and therefore this project should not be completed successfully. It is necessary to make every effort so that such projects do not appear in the future.
Yesterday the community manager has updated bounty participants that desico will pay but participants will have to send invoice and pass kyc which is understandable, hope they will fulfill their promise this time around.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DESICO IS A SCAM on: January 17, 2019, 10:20:35 AM
The rate at which team are manipulating bounty hunters is so alarming, how can you explain this

This is a post from desico team after bounty hunters have worked for 11 good weeks
If you are doubtful about this post please watch this YouTube video from DESICO CEO
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=desico+bounty

Ingrida Willems DESICO Community Manager:
Dear participants of DESICO bounty,

As you all know DESICO was aiming to carry out an ICO followed by all its components, including Bounty campaigns. The crypto markets in 2018 clearly showed that ICOs have failed their mission. The ICO process is full of fake identities and scamming. The biggest majority of utility tokens never bring profit to investors after the listing. Companies used ICOs as a fund-raising mechanism, not because their tokenomics needed a utility token. That’s why most of the utility tokens issued are below their initial capitalization.

Anticipating the situation of fake promises in ICO model, DESICO made a decision to switch from ICO to Security token offering (STO). STO is a strictly regulated offering that provides investors with ability to invest in tokenized securities. Investors need to pass KYC and AML procedures along with provision of proof of their identity, residence address as well as indication of their income source. Current regulation across the globe does not provide possibility to issue and/or distribute security tokens if they were not paid for.

DESICO decided to be fair to people who participated in its bounty campaigns by admitting the failure of ICO process. DESI token is a security token. Therefore, DESI security tokens cannot and will be not distributed to bounty participants. We will also not issue and distribute utility tokens that will have no value in the market.

We are grateful to each of you who took part in campaigns and spread  the message about benefits of security tokens. We express our sincere apologies to all participants. We believe that the efforts that all of you and DESICO put into spreading the word will still contribute positively to stabilization of overall crypto market.

DESICO team

It is high time will reject injustice from all team manipulating bounty hunters.

Why part take on a project like this if you can find more promising projects in the market? Don't you ever study first before joining? Well honestly I am not prone to scam as I find the most promising ICO's at the moment.
Nobody is perfect when it comes to choosing bounty campaign, it is nothing but luck when your hardwork is rewarded, i will give you one example,
Envion raised $100M and the bounty pool is 2% of total raised, the project couldn't continue bcos of a greedy ceo and it failed who will predict that a project which raised that much will fail and bounty hunters will work for vain.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Fork? on: January 17, 2019, 09:23:46 AM
What is the reason for the fork?

Anybody mind to shed some light?

Don't trust ETH fork for a free coin, I have scammed two times from NOWA and ETCV well, my hardwork pays nothing as I support hardfork like that. Well, invest, that is much more better to do.
Be more vigilant next time, it was very glaring that ethereum classic vision was a pure scam, any fork asking for a private key before you can be eligible is a red flag which only noobs can fall for that trick the only recognised hard fork is constantinople.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT on: January 17, 2019, 09:14:07 AM
Sometimes hard work doesn't guarantee good earning especially in this current market atmosphere, luck and choosing good project is the most important thing in earning big, good project turn bad a times so pray for luck.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best exchanges to list coin? on: January 16, 2019, 09:24:17 PM
This post is regarding Futurepia Investors - a blockchain mainnet for high traffic DApps with 300,000 TPS.

We have successfully done our ICO and now will be looking to get listed on exchange offering better options.

What do you think will be the best exchange to list the coin?
I would suggest binance, bithumb and bittrex, your project will have more exposure likewise huge volume though it is not easy to get on the first two i listed for you but it worth the effort, I wish you good luck.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fighting for bounty hunters right on: January 16, 2019, 12:17:39 PM
Hello friends,

Do you know of any organization in which bounty hunters can actually report in order to claim their right?, To be paid off their earning in which the campaign is holding.
I participated in a bounty campaign for several months and now when it is actually time for distribution now they changes the rule and actually introduce new rules which lead to the disqualification of more than 95% of the bounty participants. Which is actually too painful.
If we refuse to set up one strong community for bounty hunters things like this will persist to happen, i think team do that intensional in most cases since they know there is no group that can fight against the injustice, i don't know of any group who fight for hunters right i would like to join if there is one.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Constantinople Hard fork to be delayed on: January 16, 2019, 09:05:26 AM
The much anticipated upgrade to Ethereum network is set to be delayed yet again to a yet to be known date due to critical vulnerabilities discovered on the to be implemented upgrade, according to Coindesk.

Smart contract audit firm ChainSecurity flagged Tuesday that Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) 1283, if implemented, could provide attackers a loophole in the code to steal user funds. Speaking on a call, ethereum developers, as well as developers of clients and other projects running the network, agreed to delay the hard fork – at least temporarily – while they assessed the issue.

Participants included ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin, developers Hudson Jameson, Nick Johnson and Evan Van Ness, and Parity release manager Afri Schoedon, among others. A new fork date will be decided during another ethereum dev call on Friday.

Discussing the vulnerability online, the project’s core developers reached the conclusion that it would take too long to fix the bug prior to the hard fork, which was expected to execute at around 04:00 UTC on Jan. 17.

Called a reentrancy attack, the vulnerability essentially allows an attacker to “reenter” the same function multiple times without updating the user about the state of affairs. Under this scenario, an attacker could essentially be “withdrawing funds forever,” said Joanes Espanol, CTO of blockchain analytics firm Amberdata in a previous interview with CoinDesk.

He explained:

“Imagine that my contract has a function which makes a call to another contract… If I’m a hacker and I’m able to trigger function a while the previous function was still executing, I might be able to withdraw funds.”
Due to security concern it was postponed, it is better to make sure every necessary things is adequately put in place before the upgrade, waiting few weeks won't harm the upgrade hopefully new date will be announced soon.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good recent bounty campaigns? on: January 15, 2019, 11:51:39 AM
I can't deceive you cant be so sure of any bounty campaign, it is best for you to have it at the back of your mind that it could be successful or failure let us say 50/50 chance, even best ico bounties bounty have become nightmare for hunters an example of that is envion bounty hunters hope was high on it but what happened at the end of the campaign hunters didn't get a dime, my point is that we can't predict the future.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much are you staking to receive the hard fork tokens? on: January 10, 2019, 09:46:29 PM
I will stake 3 erhereum for the upcoming fork i wouldn't want to miss the chance to make some profit even if it's not much, i would have staked more but don't have much fund to but py additional ethereum presently.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Airdrop and Bounty Campaign on: January 10, 2019, 08:55:26 PM
